The battle began with Ugoka firing a volley of rockets from his arms, the suit was indeed powerful as he started to switch to lasers. I thought to myself that Hatsu had outdone herself, especially with what was likely less than a day to prepare. However my positive train of thought changed when Yamiaka sprinted to Ugoka and hit him with his sword once, Ugoka's barrier flicked, I'd never seen that happen before...I knew Ugoka's shield could take a real beating however...from experience. Ugoka's feet propelled him into the air and rockets allowed him to fly, he sent out what appeared to be bombs at Yamiaka but he had his monsters sacrifice themselves to allow Yamiaka access to him. Yamiaka had about twenty monsters at the moment but they weren't able to reach Ugoka. This wasn't a problem for Yamiaka however as he jumped at Ugoka and hit him again. His shield flicked a second time, I was helpless to watch as I realized...Ugoka wasn't going to win this. Ugoka flung his arms and two blades protruded from them, he slashed at Yamiaka about three times before Yamiaka hit his shield a third time, which shattered it. I looked at the armor Ugoka was wearing, it looked strong so I held hope that it would protect him, only to have those hopes dashed. Yamiaka powered up a punch until it had red flames appear on his fist and hit Ugoka, in an instant he was knocked to the ground and his armor was destroyed. Ugoka was defeated, and there was nothing I could do about it. "It appears I was overconfident on my defences.." Ugoka stated. "I'm...not surprised...But I had to...Try…" He said. Yamiaka didn't say anything, he just stared at him. Ugoka's suit was very damaged, but intact enough to get off the ground, it only lasted a second as he knelt down. "Ugoka…" I muttered from my couch. "That hit…" Ugoka stated. "The way you move...the look in your eye's...I know you-" Ugoka coughed up blood, interrupting himself. Had that hit really done so much damage to him? "You're pure evil…" Ugoka stated. "But someone WILL stop you…and if I had to guess...It'll be Kyo…" He chuckled. Yamiaka got close to Ugoka's face and declared "Unnnlikely!". "Heh heh...Omiora! Look at this...sucker!" Ugoka said with a chuckle as he pressed a button on his arm. Yamiaka tried to back away but it was too late, The mech exploded...with Ugoka inside. I could feel a few tears stream down my eyes...after just getting him back as a friend, he was gone. I watched in horror as Yamiaka got back up. "That attack was a waste on you...it'll take a bit to recharge.". I turned off the television, I had seen enough. I just sat there with my thoughts for about ten minutes, it was my fault he was out, and while I didn't care about most of the thing's he'd done...I did care about the fact that he killed Ugoka, and there was still nothing I could do about it. I laughed, I cried. Ugoka was gone and it was my fault. After about twelve minutes I went back to the television and said "Yamiaka.". Ugoka was right, someone would take him out. And I wanted to see it happen. Over the next hour I took mental note of what he could do, his monsters emmased to about twenty four at first but they were getting more numerous and stronger as time passed. I watched as he killed many heroes with that attack of his, the one that engulfed his fist into flames. Every time he used it about ten minutes later his fist would spark in flames, I took this as a cooldown for this ability. He seemed to be searching for someone as his strides had intent.
He was near unstoppable, any hero he came across would be killed one way or another...whether by his blade, monsters or rarely, that punch of his. But the civilians, he was killing them but he left others to escape, as if he was trying to prolong the chaos he was causing. I was helpless to stop him as I watched, I didn't care about any of the people he was killing, this society was corrupt and flawed by their making...but I wanted to fix it, not destroy it. Even I knew this was wrong. "This is a real shit show." I heard a voice behind me, I turned to see my uncle there. "Ugoka's dead…" I muttered. "Lots of people are dead." He replied. "They don't matter." I muttered back as I looked back to the television. "They didn't care about others.". I heard Uncle give a disapproving sigh but that was all he gave. "This villain, you know something about him don't ya?" he asked me. I hesitated to turn, but given time I did. "Yes." I confessed. "He was my guidance, my...friend." I had trouble saying that last word, to an extent it was true, he was there for me when everyone else was my enemy. "But like everyone else in my life, he's betrayed me, lied to me.". I laughed a bit and then said. "And I can't even avenge Ugoka's death…". "Look at him." Uncle stated. "If you tried then all three of LOGIC's Leaders would be dead.". "Well Uncle maybe it should be that way!" I blurt out. There was silence in the room. "You don't mean that." Uncle said. "Not all the time." I replied. "But sometimes I feel like it, all I do is sit here." I gesture to the couch. "It's not safe for me to go back there and...live there.". I shook my head as I said. "Like I said, I can't even avenge Ugoka's death because I-". "Izuku." Uncle stated. "...No, I agreed to-" I started but I was interrupted by Uncle saying. "No Kyo, Izuku!" Uncle was pointing behind me, to the television. I turned around to see Izuku on the screen, he was battered, bruised and that green lightning was flickering around him. "What the hell? Izuku!?" I exclaimed as I looked at the screen. "You really made finding you...annoying…" Yamiaka said to Izuku. I wondered what he was talking about, why was Izuku hurt? The deal was struck so I couldn't wrap my head around why this was happening. I looked behind Izuku to find there were people running away. "Damn it Izuku...always being the hero." I knew Yamiaka's power and knew that Izuku, even with All Might's quirk, would need back up. "I have to help him." I said as I got ready to leave, but I felt something wrap around my wrists, they were shackles. "I'm sorry Kyo…" Uncle stated. "But...I can't let you help him.". I turned around and yelled "What!?". "You're not the only one who made a deal with that kid." Uncle informed me. "He made me promise to not let you break your promise to him.". It was happening again, it was my mother and sister all over. "Don't you dare do this! Not again! You kept me from saving the people I care about once so don't you dare do that again!". "You think I want to!?" Uncle yelled back. "I like that kid! But you know what? I like you more Kyo!". I just yelled in frustration as I struggled against the chains, I looked back to see Yamiaka approaching Izuku. "Everything I've done, I've done with you in mind." Uncle continued as he watched too. "If you go there...you'll die as well.". "Then come with me!" I desperately said. "You, me...we could end this!". "Can't risk it." Uncle retorted. "You've seen what he can do, even with my armada of quirks it would take multiple people with near mastery of their quirks to beat him...one of us, likely you...would be almost guaranteed to die.". "Damn you!" I shouted back as I struggled more against the chains. I looked back at Izuku on the screen, Yamiaka was picking him up. "Please Uncle! He's just a child! We can't-" I paused as I heard Yamiaka say "You can thank your friend for this, he let me out...and now I'm going to cause endless suffering…". I then saw quite possibly the worst thing I've ever seen, the black sword went through Izuku.
I fell to my knees, it was done. Flashbacks of Omiora, Ugoka, my mother and sister all flew through my mind. The world was all but still as I watched Yamiaka throw Izuku's body to the side and smirk as he proceeded. I was at awe at first, I wondered how someone with One for All could have just been defeated like that. I then realized that Izuku didn't have it fully mastered AND it was at the dead of night, when Yamiaka's quirk was at full power due to the darkness...even at the city he'd destroy all the lights around him...and now just the city streets my life was dark and empty. Now everyone I loved had died, and every time I tried to save them I was stopped by the man behind me. "Kyo...I-". "Leave." I sharply stated. "Just….go…" I could feel the streams of tears flow down my eyes as I knelt there, I felt the shackles disappear and assumed Uncle left so I just started bawling. Izuku, my best friend for god knew how long was now dead, and it was my fault. I wondered what he was even doing there, and why on earth he was alone...that's when I realized he wasn't. Aside from him laid the body of the number one hero Endeavor. "That punch…" I stated. I gathered that Endeavor was beaten by the punch and Yamiaka went on to kill Izuku. I knelt there for likely about three minutes as I processed the death of my friend, I wanted vengeance, I wanted to kill Yamiaka...there was no one in my life I cared about anymore, aside from the man who seemed to do nothing but prevent me from protecting those I loved. I knew I'd die if I tried though, that attack would destroy me even if I had an arsenal of quirks like my Uncle-. That's when I realized, I did have an arsenal of quirks...and it was in the stim.
I made my way outside of my house and into my lab, the stim still sat there and read "6 Min, 30 Sec". "That'll be long enough." I muttered. "I don't have anything much left to live for anyway…". There was still a road block, that attack of Yamiaka's. Even with Kirishima's quirks endurance and the arsenal of aggressive quirks I had, that one hit would end me. I slumped down again as I realized that even with my full potential, with the three quirks near their highest potential, I was still doomed to fail. "Why is it every time I try to do something right, I simply can't?". I muttered to myself. I laughed and looked at the stim, then I remembered someone. "Taru…". It had been a long time since I had seen him, but he still existed...and more importantly, his quirk did. If I had that quirk I could negate the punch by using the healing factor to reset me after Yamiaka punched me. I smiled, I realized that with Taru's help I could actually do this. "I never thought I'd go to you for help…" I muttered. I also realized that Yamiaka was powerful during the night time due to the darkness, and his monsters were quickly encompassing larger numbers. I could do this, but I wouldn't be able to do this alone. "Proton could help…" I stated. "He's gotten large groups of heroes before…". I decided upon a plan, I'd go to Taru and add his quirk to the stim and then go to Proton and have him and other heroes set up lights to lower Yamiaka's power, they'd defend the lights from Yamiaka's monsters and I'd get my revenge on him. "I'll make him pay you two…" I muttered to myself, addressing Izuku and Ugoka. "And I'll be seeing you soon…". I walked into the room and said "Taru.". The Television immediately moved to Taru in what appeared to be his living room, he was watching the news with his parents on the "Musutafu" situation. "Here we go." I said as I started to teleport. Once I appeared in the room I just said "Taru." and his parents and him turned around. "Matchigaten?" Taru asked, surprised. "Matchigaten? Kyokia Matchigaten?" Taru's mother asked aloud. "You need to leave." Taru's father said seriously as he stood up. "I'm afraid I cannot...I need your son's help.".
"You expect us to believe this?" Taru's father asked after I explained my plan to them. "I don't really care if you do or not, I have to get it done." I replied to him. "If you think we're going to let you anywhere near our son you-". "No.". Taru stated. "I want to help him.". "What?" His parents said in unison. He smirked and walked over to me, "Told ya." He stated. "What?" I asked him. "I told you you'd become a villain." He informed me. I audibly laughed at this. "Yeah, yeah you did." I nodded. "Listen…" He started. "That day...you gave me a lot to think about…" He said. "And well...If you really think you can take this guy out, and all i have to do is give you some of my hair?" He pulled out a strand of hair and extended his hand out. "Then take it, please.". I grabbed the hair and said "You're very...cooperative." I said as I eyed him. "Well, I said you'd never make it as a hero." He started. "And here I am sitting a town away and cowering as you try to go stop this guy...maybe I wasn't everything I thought I was.". "Don't say that." I blurted out. "Huh?" He questioned me. I put my hands on his shoulders and said. "At least one of us shouldn't be a screw up, you got a future ahead of you." I then looked over to his concerned parents and said. "And people who care about you...don't let that slip away from you." Taru gave me a nod and said "I won't.". "Good." I said as I took my hands off him. "Now I have a monster to slay." I informed them as I started to teleport home. "Good luck!" Taru encouraged me as I teleported away. Once I made it I walked over to the lab and put the hair in the sink. "Quirk added, Name:-". I interrupted it by pulling out the stim, I had no time for this. "One down." I said as I looked back to the door. "One to go.". I walked back in a bit slower than before, I was thinking about my Uncle. Despite everything he was still trying to do his best for me, I decided that I would try to defeat Yamiaka without using the stim first...but if it came to it...I'd do what was necessary. I considered contacting Uncle but decided I was still too bitter with him so I just said "Proton.". The television switched to Proton with several other heroes, they seemed to be evacuating civilians from Musutafu. I extended out my hand and used Telekinesis to bring my axe to me, through the wall. Once it came barreling through the wall I grabbed it and started to teleport to Proton. "Proton." I announced as I arrived. He turned around and asked "Young Matchigaten?" In a bewildered tone. "You aren't here to hu-". "No I'm not." I stated. "I'm here to kill that thing.". "To ki- We can't kill it Young Matchigaten." Proton stated. "And those who stand a chance to have been annihilated...we'd-". "Win." I said. "Cause I know how to beat him.". Proton gave me a questioning look and asked "How?". "It'll take a long time to explain." I started. "But I believe with a few heroes, lights and this…" I pulled out the stim. "We can save Musutafu City.".
It took some more convincing but within fifty minutes we have about seven heroes amassed with us. I explained to them my history with Yamiaka, his weakness to lights and most importantly, the stim. "So that was LOGIC's plan all along…" Proton stated. The mention of LOGIC brought up nothing but old wounds so I said. "That's neither here nor there.". "He's coming up this avenue at the moment." A female hero stated as we all looked at a map. "He's in the eastern part of the city and he's making his way west.". "Then we must set up lights here." I pointed at another avenue farther down. "It's been mostly evacuated and we'll have time to set up the lights." I was starting to understand how hard a hero's job was, weighing lives and strategizing as people were being hurt. I started to wonder if I was perhaps too hard on All Might back then. But I tossed those thoughts away and said. "Setting up here will give us time, I'll lure him there and fight him. You'll have to defend the lights from those monsters of his.". We had planned to get some stage lights and shine them on him in hopes that his power would weaken due to it. The heroes would defend the lights from his monsters as I fought him. "That thing will kill you." A male hero said as he pointed to my stim. "That it will." I said as I shook my head. "But, it's the best chance we have to save this city.". "There's talk of other heroes who have planned something to take him out." Another hero stated. "Endeavor and-" "Endeavor is dead." I informed them. There were gasps and the sort in response. "He took out the number one hero, it's up to us.". "We should focus on evacuating the civilians-". Another female hero reasoned but she was interrupted by me saying "There are already many groups of heroes doing that, if we focus too much this thing will just come another night to another town and destroy more…" I paused and sighed. "We need to end this tonight...If all else fails we'll have softened him up for the other heroes.". There wasn't much arguing after that. "Go, get the lights and meet me there. We end this tonight.". The heroes ran off to get the lights and get into position. "It's a brave thing you're doing…" Proton stated. "But...I don't know if you should, give me the stim and I'll do it for you. Nochild should have to die…". I looked at him and said. "...He killed a friend of mine, two of them...I know his weaknesses the most, I'm doing this...we don't have time to argue, lives are at stake." Proton nodded understandingly and jumped off to go help the others, most of that was bullshit, but I had to give him a reason...my real reason was revenge, he was mine to kill. "I won't fail you two…" I said to myself. "I'll save this city, and avenge your deaths.".
