Chapter 30

The rental of the castle, and all of the little goodies that went with this particular package deal, was made for early in the day to avoid the crowds and unwanted attention. He would have preferred to have it for the evening, but it had been explained that the park didn't rent out for that particular purpose during the evening hours due to the nightly Princess Parade that would start from there.

"It'll be okay, Daddy." Shin comforted the obviously nervous Kuon.

Kuon sighed out. "I hope so." He weakly smiled. Certainly they'd discussed this step in their relationship, but he still didn't know her thoughts on it. After everything that had happened, he wasn't so sure she would agree. He thought she may want to spend more time exploring their relationship before diving into a lifetime commitment with him.

They did have that extensive discussion regarding everything that had happened in their lives, from their youngest years until the current. They'd both had a difficult time. She more than he it would seem, but more on the emotional front. He wasn't sure he would have been able to get through it like she did, and the fact that he'd caused a good portion of it for her, weighed heavily on his heart even though she seemed to forgive him, but could he forgive himself enough to be worthy of her? He supposed he would soon see. He hoped that she would, he truly wanted to spend the rest of his life with her and their son. Maybe even add another member to the family in the future.

She was completely bewildered. The boys had brought her to the princess castle for a photo-shoot or so that's what they told her. So here she was, completely decked out in the dress, the shoes, the makeup, the hair, and all the other trappings. She twirled in front of the mirror and giggled a little. She felt as if she'd stepped back into her late teen years once again.

Her attendant curtsied to her and smiled. "Ms. Rivers, this way please." She guided her to the throne room. "Today… You are a Queen." She announced as they entered the large room, that was very convincingly decorated, and had her regally take her seat.

"Her Royal Highness, Queen Kari has arrived. Please kneel." The page at the door loudly announced.

Kyoko was a little dazed and couldn't help but breathlessly take in her surroundings, as the staff knelt waiting for her to tell them to rise. Oh! "You may rise." She smiled and waved her hand. She'd nearly forgotten what to do, she was so excited.

"Prince Alexander and King Kuon Hizuri have arrived." The page soon announced and Kyoko froze in surprise, with her vision narrowing to the two men she dearly loved. Shin looked just too adorable all dressed up like a little prince in short pants, a jacket, and vest all in purple with gold trim covered in a page's tunic. His dazzling blond hair was neatly slicked back and he carefully carried a small pillow. She smiled softly at the sight.

Kuon was equally as dashing in the adult version of the suit, without the tabard, a sword at his waist, and a gold crown on his head that seemingly matched what they had put on her. "Oh my…" She gasped a little. No one had ever done anything like that for her. She giggled quietly and recomposed herself. They both look so damned adorable. She squealed inwardly. She was happy beyond words at this point.

Kuon cleared his throat nervously. "Ahem… Milady…" He approached with Shin and they both knelt before her. "Once long ago, I was cursed. You broke that curse. Then once again I became cursed, and yet again you saved me. You are the light in my darkness, the queen of my heart. I only ask that you grant me the privilege of being your light and the king in your heart. Kyoko-chan… could you ever find it in your heart to allow me to make up to you for all those years that I missed? Those years that I should have been with you? Would you allow me to call myself your husband?"

She nodded with tears streaming down her cheeks. "Oh Kuon… (sob, hic) You know I forgive you." She whimpered. "Can I call myself your wife?" She gave him a watery smile.

He stood abruptly and rushed to her, wrapping the sobbing little queen in his arms. "Always, Sweetheart. You know you can."

"Dad…" Shin whispered. "The ring." He held up the pillow, beaming with a radiant smile.

Kuon ruffled his hair. "Thanks, Champ."

Photos and video were taken of the entire event and a collection was given to the couple that had been recorded on a disc. "Congratulations to the happy couple."

One would think that the photos of the gloriously planned event would have been leaked to the press, but they weren't, and that was precisely why that particular theme park offered that package for those types of events. It wouldn't be good for business had it happened any other way. So, the only photos that would be released, would be through LME and LME International of the two stars and of course, the females of the Japanese population once again went insane over their number one man going off the market… With a single mother, no less. Well, not that Kuon gave a single fuck about what they thought at this point in his life. He wanted what he wanted, and he was not going to allow anyone to stand in the way of the happiness that he would share with his little family.

A collective sigh of relief was released by friends and family members located across the globe. It was finally done, and they could proceed with their plans.

"Mo… Where on Earth did you learn to do this?" Kanae asked bewildered, as she clicked and scrolled through the various pages of the private website.

He smirked into the camera of his computer, and gave a light chuckle. "Hmm, a little fairy prince taught me."

Kanae's eyes went wide. "Shin-chan did? He's only six!" She groaned a little. That kid is way too smart.

Sho laughed at her reaction. "He even set up a firewall and password protected it for us."

"He knows?! Won't he tell Kyoko?" She asked a little worried that they would all be discovered before they could present it all to Kyoko to make the final decisions on everything.

"Think about what you just said, Kanae. Do you really think he wants her to know he knows how to do all this stuff? Kyoko would go insane with worry." He shook his head with a smile.

She sighed out. "I suppose you're right." She paused, glancing up at her screen and browsing through her multiple emails. "I have some of the sketches that Juli scanned and emailed to me. I'll forward the lot to you to upload so we can get a vote on the designs."

He nodded, checking his own email. "I've already put up a poll on the music, and Kuu wanted help narrowing down the cuisine. I think he might get in touch with Takatsuki-san for some ideas."

"Oh, that's a really good idea. The man is a culinary god. It's good to include him and his wife in this. They've always been close to Kyoko… Have you heard anything from her mother?" She asked a little hesitantly.

Sho grimaced a little, and shook his head. "I left a message for her, but ever since Shin was born… Well… they really haven't been as close as her and her father."

Kanae pursed her lips and furrowed her brow. "Too bad… it's her loss then. Kyoko's a really sweet person."

"Ah, speaking of… Kurosaki-san sent me a couple of portfolio's of the photographers he has in mind and he asked if he could be the one to film everything. I told him we'd have to discuss it." Sho informed her.

Kanae shook her head. "As nice as that would be… He is the father of the bride. We need him to be a little more involved. We can't have him hiding behind the camera for this whole thing. Besides, we're going to need at least two filmographers. One for the bride's side of things and one for the groom. Preferably a pair that can work together and film the wedding from different angles too."

"Ah, that makes sense. I didn't even think of that." He chuckled. "Leave it to you film types. A musician, like yours truly, would never have that cross their mind."

Kanae looked up and waved, and Sho felt a light kiss on his cheek before a steamy cup of hot green tea was placed before him. "Hi Aki! How's everything going?"

Aki Shoko giggled and waved back. "Good… Let me know if you guys need me to do anything on our end."

"Will do." Kanae responded with a little smirk.

"See you later. I'll let you two get back to your shady dealings." She giggled as she left the room.

"Oh! That reminds me, have you heard anything from Lory on the venue and the dates? We really need those so we can arrange for the flowers, the save the date cards, and invitations." Sho questioned. It seemed as though he was really getting into this.

"I'll have to check. I completely forgot about all of that stuff." She confessed.

He grinned a little sheepishly. "Well, I would have too had Aki not asked about it."

"We should probably mention the save the date cards to Yukihito, I'm not sure I listed it on his things to do." She pondered to herself. "Well, okay then, I'll get back to you on everything we discussed and I just sent you an email with a list of the polls we'll need up in a few days along with Juli's sketches attached." She looked at her watch. "I better get going. I have a cast meeting in an hour. Let me know if there's anything else."

"Will do. I'll shoot everyone a mass email and a text when everything is completely up and running." He informed her.

"Alright. I'll be waiting to hear from you. Don't take to long. Everything's going to go pretty quickly once their schedules get cleared." She reminded.

"Got it. Talk later." Sho bid his farewell and got to work sorting through the multiple emails marked Wedding Planner. He chuckled to himself. Never in his life did he think for once that he would be doing this for anyone, let alone Kyoko and Kuon.
