In Star City, Ruby was still stuck in a water bubble in the Arrow bunker. Connor had gone long ago, but she had heard the elevator and voices. She thought that it was Connor coming back with reinforcements, but that wasn't who she saw when they came into view. What Ruby saw was a man and a woman.

The man was bald and dark-skinned. The woman was fair-skinned with a cropped uneven haircut. She was the first one to gasp and race over to Ruby.

"Oh my gosh!" The woman exclaimed, "Did Connor do this to you?"

Ruby gave a nod with her eyebrows knitted together, "How do you know Connor?"

The man stepped forward, clearing his throat, "He's our son."

There was a look of shame and disappointment in his eyes, not that Ruby had noticed.

"We adopted him." The woman clarified

"Well, your son tried to kill my sister."

The woman sighed and spoke sincerely, "And for that I'm truly sorry. I'm Lyla and this is my husband John."

Ruby smiled, softly, "My name's Ruby."

"Alright Ruby, we're gonna do our best to get you out of there." John told the young woman.

"Thank you."

Back in National City at Mount Carmel, David was going to check on Charlie and take her some of the delicious dinner that 60 year old Zilla Henry had cooked. There wasn't just one person that was responsible for cooking all of the meals everyday. It was a job that was rotated. Everyone would get their turn. It was mostly the women that had this job, but sometimes one of the men would assist in the kitchen with whoever's turn it was.

Anyways, Zilla had cooked a traditional British dish of Lancashire Hot Pot. It had been a while since she made it, but it was always a huge success. Adults liked it because it was healthy, and the kids just loved it.

David walked into Charlie's room with a plate of food. He didn't know how, but somehow Chica and Pages had beaten him back to the room. He had found them cuddled up on either side of Charlie, Pages fast asleep with a book laying across her chest and Chica's eyes were fluttering. He knew that she would soon be asleep too.

David couldn't help but smile as he strutted over to the side of the bed, "I would hand you this food, but it don't look like you have a hand to spare."

Charlie gave a small laugh as she patted her baby bump, "That's what this is for. It's my personal table."

"Well then." David said as he gently placed the plate down, making sure Charlie had a hand on it before he let go completely.

Charlie took a bite of food and swallowed, "Um...David, I need to talk to you about something."

"Uh-Oh….this sounds serious."

"It's not really….I mean kind of, but I just need for you not to freak out or get overprotective."

David nodded, "All right. I'll try my best."

Charlie took a breath, "Well...it's about the baby. It's nothing bad. It's actually good, but she or he is more powerful then we thought."

"Oh." David uttered

"Yeah...he or she has powers that I only had because of the loom which I broke. I don't understand it, but one thing I do understand...one thing I know for sure is that this baby is the solution to saving the multiverse." Charlie explained

David's eyes widened as he shook his head, "No. Absolutely not."

"I didn't even ask the question yet."

"I know, but I know you. I know where you were going."

Charlie sighed, "David...I have to."

"There has to be another way. Sara will find another way, because there is no way I'm letting you risk your life or our baby's life." David told her, "Do you understand?"

"I can take care of myself, David. The baby can take care of his or herself."

David stared into her eyes, speaking firmly as he repeated himself, "Charlie, this isn't up for debate. Do you understand? Yes? Or No?"

Charlie looked down, feeling defeated, "Yes."

"Promise me you won't do anything to endanger your life or the baby's life."

"I promise." Charlie replied, still not looking at him.

David leaned in and kissed her temple, "I'm sorry if I freaked out a little bit. I just love you and I love our baby. I couldn't live with myself if something happened to either of you."

Charlie turned back to face him, "I know. I love you too. Thanks for bringing me the food."

"Of course. Now do you want me to take the girls?"

Charlie shook her head, "No, it's all right. They're fine where they are."

Neither David nor Charlie knew how but both Pages and Chica were fast asleep, completely unbothered by their talking.

On the Beebo Nation Earth, things were actually getting progressively worse and worse. The winds had turned into tornadoes, but that wasn't the only thing that was keeping John and the Abydonians inside. It was the appearance of one Torren John, the current controller of the Earth totem.

Torren was raising holy hell on the Beebo Nation Earth. Literally and figuratively.

There were plants and vines growing sky high on practically every square inch of land on the Earth. The vines and trees were even sprouting up into some of the buildings.

Most of the plants were poisonous. And that wasn't even the worst of it. The Beebos had somehow found a way off the Earth, packed up their families and were searching the galaxy for a more suitable planet.

John was pacing back and forth trying to figure out what to do, because on top of all that, the food that had been delivered a month ago was starting to run out. And he didn't know how, but somehow the plants - or maybe just one particular plant - was affecting his powers. He was stranded without a lifeline just like any mere mortal who doesn't have a phone.
