Chapter 30 The Guide
Sean continued to fly towards Republic City to tell Korra what he had learned.
Suddenly however he had a vision seeing Tenzin and his family being attacked along with Korra by Megaera who was alive again.
"What the?" Sean yelled before he crashed into the water before flying out. "The hell was that?" Sean asked before his mother appeared before him.
"A vison. Unalaq has given the Fury Megaera life once more at the cost of one of his men. All in order to capture Korra and force her to open the other portal to release Vaatu." Athena said.
"Son of a bitch. From the looks of things they were at one of the air temples. If I remember the schedule Tenzin made they should currently be at the eastern Air Temple." Sean said.
"Correct. If you hurry you may make it to them before she does." Athena said.
"Like I need to hear that." Sean said dashing off with quicker speeds to find his wife.
Later
Korra had arrived at the Eastern Air temple and told them exactly what happened while they were gone.
"So the Southern Water Tribe voted for independence once they learned Unalaq sent Ares after Sean not caring if the South was wiped out in the process. And Unalaq started a civil war to keep his grip on the South?" Tenzin asked.
"Yeah. He just won't let go of his insane need for control for them to be the way he wants...And theres something else that happened while you were gone." Korra said.
"Korra...What happened?" Tenzin asked concerned as tears ran down her eyes.
"Sean's dead." Korra said shocking them.
"What?" Tenzin asked.
"Eska and Desna showed up at Raiko's office and said a Dark spirit attacked him and never came back. After what happened the last time I knew they weren't lying." Korra said as she started crying as Tenzin held her.
"Korra...I'm so sorry." Tenzin said.
"I hate to sound like an ass but you're dead wrong. My brother's not dead." Turok said confusing her.
"What are you talking about? If he wasn't dead why didn't he come back?" Korra asked.
"Korra, you know there are consequences to killing a god. If they die their power runs wildly causing chaos. The same applies to him. If he was really dead all that power would be unleashed. Since everything is perfectly calm here." Turok said.
"He's still alive out there." Tenzin theorized.
"Exactly. He's most likely injured or something." Turok said.
"Than I need to find him." Korra said about to leave but Tenzin stopped her.
"We will I promise. But right now..." Tenzin tried to say before they heard a familiar cruel laughter.
"Oh isn't this precious." Megaera said appearing which shocked them.
"You? Sean killed you months ago." Korra said.
"Oh he did. You can thank your uncle for my return." Megaera said making her growl. "Now...You'll be coming with me or else..."
"Or else what?" Sean asked behind her shocking her as she faced him seeing his fierce glare.
"YOUR STILL ALIVE?" Megaera roared.
"Unlike you I'm not easy to kill." Sean said making her roar as she charged at him making them fall over the cliff.
"SEAN!" Korra yelled rushing after him before seeing he stuck his blade into the wall as Megaera held on his leg for dear life.
"If I die again I'm taking you with me." Megaera said glaring at him.
"I don't think so. Besides I can just fly and you can't. Say hi to your sisters for me when you see them in hell." Sean said breathing black flames on her making her scream in agonizing pain before she fell to her death as she burned to ash.
Sean climbed back up before dusting himself off before Korra latched onto him and cried making him smile as he held her.
"It's ok." Sean said.
"I thought I lost you." Korra cried.
"What made you think that?" Sean asked as she pulled back.
"Desna and Eska showed up and said a dark spirit killed you." Korra said.
"I did get attacked but all that did was give me amnesia." Sean said surprising her.
"Wait what?" Korra asked.
"Have I got a story to tell all of you." Sean said.
Later
"So Avatar Wan imprisoned this dark spirit Vaatu in the spirit world?" Tenzin asked Sean with Korra next to him.
"Yeah and I think Unalaq is trying to unleash him." Sean said.
"How do you even know all this anyway?" Korra asked.
"Because I was there when it happened. I got all my memories back from 10,000 years ago." Sean said shocking all of them. "Me and my parents were there and they tried to help stop him. When Vaatu realized who I really was he tried to kill me for some reason. Most likely figured I would be the one person besides Raava to stop him. My mother and Wan tried to stop him. He almost did kill me but my father sacrificed himself to stop him." Sean said.
"Sean I'm so sorry." Korra said holding him close.
"The trauma of all that made me lose control of my powers and when the Convergence began my power made the beams warp around wildly. Which ended up hitting Wan when he was fused with Raava and created the Avatar cycle." Sean said shocking her and Tenzin.
"You mean you accidentally created the Avatar Cycle?" Tenzin asked.
"Hey I was five! I didn't even mean for that shit to happen in the first place. I also got hit which further evolved my powers faster. Like that ability to summon gods I've absorbed in my body and use them as weapons. I probably already had that ability but the beam evolved it faster." Sean said.
"Incredible." Korra said.
"When that happened the gods I absorbed came out and fought him along with thousands of spirts. Most likely another ability of mine. This gave Wan a chance to imprison Vaatu in some tree." Sean said.
"Hence why the portals were sealed away. To keep people like Unalaq out." Korra said.
"But I almost lost control since my powers were evolving rapidly and the trauma made things worse. In order to stop that from happening Wan locked away my memories so I wouldn't remember anything to prevent that. Thats why I didn't know anything when we first met 14 years ago." Sean said.
"Thats explains why you didn't even remember your name until my mom told you. I never knew how she knew back then though until later when she told us the truth...Well Most of it." Korra said since they neglected about finding him in the temple for his safety.
"Yeah. Without my father around my mother knew I was gonna be vulnerable incase the other gods attacked me. So Wan suggested making them think I was dead by putting me on Ice for 10,000 years." Sean said.
"So thats why the temple came out of the ice. By then they figured you were already dead if you didn't show up during that time." Korra said.
"Exactly. But back to the matter at hand. We need to seal the southern portal up before the Convergence." Sean said.
"Have you two tried President Raiko?" Tenzin asked making them glare. "Am I missing something here?" Tenzin asked.
"Son of a bitch is no different than Unalaq and Amon. He views me as a threat to nature and wants me put down." Sean said before Korra smirked.
"Well, if it makes you feel any better after you were attacked Raiko put his exact thoughts about you in the papers thinking everyone would celebrate. Big mistake since now everyone has completely turned on him and he might get kicked out of office for his words." Korra said making him smirk.
"Thats a comforting thought." Sean said.
"So you need to close the Southern portal. But if Unalaq controls the South how are we going to get in?" Tenzin asked.
"I've been thinking about that on my way here when my memories were restored. The best option is to seal the portal from within. We have to enter the spirit world." Sean said.
"Yes...That could work. But still someone else might try to free him in years to come. We need a way to permanently remove him." Tenzin said.
"I have an idea for that as well." Sean said pulling out a scroll.
"Wait I remember these. You used them to seal away weapons and supplies in them before you could do it without them." Korra said.
"Yes. The scrolls are for beginners. Eventually I learned to seal away my weapons without the scrolls. But they can also seal away anything or anyone within. My plan is to seal Vaatu inside one of these scrolls and then destroy it. Trapping him inside a pocket dimension forever. Each scroll leads to one and if the scroll is destroyed that pocket dimension is permanently lost. Vaatu would never be able to harm anyone ever again." Sean said.
"Thats a brilliant idea. He would have no means of escape and during the next convergence he wouldn't gain any power from it." Tenzin said impressed making Korra grin before kissing her husband lovingly.
"Is there anything you can't think of?" Korra asked making him smirk.
"Hey I'm the son of Wisdom what do you think?" Sean asked making her giggle.
"Tomorrow we'll head into the spirit world. For now get some rest." Tenzin said.
Korra led Sean into their room before she sat him down before taking his armor off and frowned seeing his wounds before he held her hands.
"I'll be fine. I promise." Sean said kissing her making her moan as she held his face.
"I thought I lost you. We finally got passed what Unalaq did to us and I thought you were gone." Korra said making him smile softly as he held her close.
"You won't lose me. I promise." Sean said kissing her making her moan before she pulled her shirt over her head.
Sean pulled off her bra before latching into her breasts making her moan as she held his head as she sat on his lap before he pulled off her pants leaving her in her thong before he pulled back and kissed her making her moan into his mouth before she pulled back and pulled off his remaining clothes before he pulled her back into his front before his hand drifted into her thong and thrusted his fingers into her sex making her moan softly.
"Mmm." Korra moaned while Sean's other hand grabbed her right breast and pinched her nipple making her squirm lightly.
"You are so into pain." Sean said making her grin.
"Only with you around." Korra said making him smirk before kissing her neck making her moan.
Sean continued to finger her sex making Korra buck her hips forward to let him in further.
Thats when she felt him add electricity to his fingers making her squirm around before Sean sucked on her neck making her groan.
"Oh my god!" Korra said as she was at her limit before she gasped as she came without warning before a large wet spot was seen in her thong making Sean smirk before pulling his hand out and placed it in front of her making her moan as she sucked on his fingers tasting herself.
Sean grabbed her thong before gently pulling it down her legs before it hit the floor before Sean placed her on her front before he was above her before aiming at her back entrance and thrusted in making her groan lightly as Sean thrusted into her ass.
"Oh...More." Korra begged before gasping as Sean reached forward grabbing her breasts and squeezed them making her moan loudly as he continued to thrust into her.
Korra whimpered and moaned with each thrust before Sean leaned forward and kissed her making her moan into the kiss as she held his head close.

"I love you too. And I always will." Sean said making her smile before frowning which he saw. "What is it?" Sean asked.
"I feel like a complete and total bitch for what I said to Mako and Asami." Korra said.
"The hell are you talking about?" Sean asked confused as to where this was coming from.
"While you were gone and I thought you were dead...Mako told me he was the one who told Raiko about our plans to use his troops without his permission. And Asami knew it too after I told them you were dead. I was just so angry at them for not telling me the truth...I told them I never wanted to see them again." Korra said with tears running down her eyes before Sean held her close and kissed her.
"Korra...You were upset and hurt thinking I was Killed. Our angry in times of loss can make us do and say things we don't mean until we get passed it. They'll forgive you when you see them again." Sean said as she buried her face into his chest.
"Thank you." Korra said before she fell asleep in his arms as he also fell asleep.
Next morning
Sean woke up with a groan before feeling a pleasant sensation making him look seeing Korra bouncing on top of him before seeing him awake making her grin.
"Morning." Korra said making him grin as he held her hips.
"When did you start this?" Sean asked as she leaned down and kissed him.
"About ten minutes ago. You are one heavy sleeper you know." Korra said before she started bouncing faster on him as she felt her climax approaching before she came hard and shuddered feeling him come inside her making them grin at each other as Korra kissed him.
Thats when the doors were blown down by Ikki.
"Guys come on! Daddy is going...To..." Ikki tried to say but froze seeing them connected in the intimate position.
"Oh my fucking god! You gotta be kidding me!" Sean yelled as Korra blushed like crazy before growling in anger.
"IKKI!" Korra roared.
Later
Korra growled as she had an incredibly annoyed look on her face with her eyes twitching and had a tick mark on her forehead glaring at Ikki who was frozen.
"Um...Ikki?" Turok asked waving his hand in front of her while Kya snapped her fingers.
"I think you might have broken her." Kya said.
"Do I look like I fucking care?" Korra asked ticked off royally.
"I am so sorry you two." Pema said.
"Ikki?" Meelo asked shaking her.
"Come on wake up!" Jinora yelled snapping her fingers at her before she shook her head.
"Why were you two naked? And why was Korra on top of you moaning?" Ikki asked making them freeze and stutter while Korra growled.
Bumi burst out laughing holding his sides as he fell down.
"Oh lord." Turok said.
"I got a much better question. WHY DO YOU NOT EVER KNOCK ON THE GODDAMN DOOR! IT WAS LOCKED FOR A REASON!" Korra roared.
"Ok enough...We can deal with this crap later. Right now we gotta get moving. The longer we wait the closer Unalaq gets to freeing Vaatu." Sean said making her sigh.
"Fine...We'll settle this later...IKKI." Korra said glaring at her making her gulp.
After that the three left to find a spot.
Soon all three were in a meditation stance with Ikki and Meelo trying to help them out with some instruments.
One problem though.
"Are you in the spirit world yet?" Korra asked.
"No." Sean said annoyed. "I don't think this is working." Sean said.
"It isn't." Mimir said.
"I would be if Meelo would ring his bell at the right moment." Tenzin said.
"Aww, Did I do it wrong?" Meelo asked.
"Let's try something else." Tenzin said leaving frustrated.
"I thought your bell ringing was just perfect." Korra said making Sean grin placing his arm around her.
"With encouragement like that you'll be a good mother one day." Sean said making her smile before kissing him.
This time they tried at a cliff to get a better connection. Kya set up some smoke to help but.
"This isn't working at all!" Sean said getting annoyed more and more by the second.
"This is old and outdated methods." Mimir said.
"Kya, this is too much smoke. You set it up wrong." Tenzin said.
"Hey I did exactly what you said." Kya said offended.
"Now the moment is ruined." Tenzin said walking away.
"I'm getting increasingly annoyed." Sean said before Korra held him
"Calm down we'll get it right eventually." Korra said as they left.
However Turok saw Jinora looking out at the distance.
"Hey Jinora? What are you looking at exactly? I don't see anything." Turok said.
"Nothing." Jinora said running off.
Turok raised an eyebrow but said nothing.
Now the three were in a temple.
"Focus, you two." Tenzin said.
"We're trying here." Sean said.
"No talking." Tenzin said.
"Then shut the hell up already." Sean said.
"Feel the energy of the universe." Tenzin said.
"Okay, I feel it." Korra said.
"Korra, Really! I'm trying to concentrate here!" Tenzin said shocking her as he stood up. "I don't think this location is going to work either." Tenzin said frustrated.
"The hell is going on with you? First you blamed Meelo then Kya and now Me." Korra said.
"Well, nothing is feeling right to me." Tenzin said.
"Tenzin we don't have that much time. I need to have Korra seal that portal up before the Convergence begins and then seal him away for good in one of these scrolls. Now how the hell did you get into the spirit world the first time?" Sean asked.
"Yes brother time is of the essence." Mimir said.
"Well...Actually, I've never been into the spirit world." Tenzin said.
"WHAT!" Sean yelled shocking Korra and the others who appeared behind a wall.
"Please tell me I heard that wrong." Korra said in shock.
"YOU of all people in the world who preaches spiritual matters have never once been to the spirit world?" Sean asked beyond shocked.
"But you used to spend days in the temple meditating." Pema said.
"Trying to get in...It never happened. It's my greatest shortcoming as an Airbender, spiritual leader, and son of Aang." Tenzin said as Bumi laughed.
"Welcome to the I disappoint Dad club." Bumi said.
"If you've never been to the spirit world, how do you plan to get Korra and Sean there?" Kya asked.
"I've spent years studying the techniques and theories of ancient spiritual leaders. Now that they needs me, It must be my time." Tenzin said.
"Tenzin the convergence is weeks away. We don't have much time. The Sooner we get this done the safer the world is." Sean said.
"I know. But you must trust me." Tenzin said.
"Actually there might be another way to get there." Turok said gaining their attention as he looked to Jinora.
"What are you talking about?" Korra asked.
"Jinora, is there something you'd like to tell my brother and Korra?" Turok asked.
"Jinora? She is too young and untrained to have any knowledge about spiritual matters." Tenzin said.
"Actually, I think I do know where they need to go to get into the spirit world." Jinora said.
"Oh really?" Mimir asked curious.
"And how would you know that?" Korra asked.
"My spirit friends showed me." Jinora said before bunny spirits with dragonfly wings appeared.
"Hello." Turok said impressed making Sean chuckle.
"She's not only smart she knows multiple languages and has a powerful connection to spirits. Nice pick little brother." Sean said making him freeze while Korra giggled.
"When's the wedding?" Korra teased.
"Do me a favor and fuck off." Turok said making them laugh.
"You surprise me Jinora. How long have you been able to do this? This kind of connection is powerful." Sean said.
"I don't know. I guess I've always kind of had a great connection with spirits." Jinora said as a blue one laid on Bumi making him laugh.
"I think this one likes me." Bumi said.
"Are they here to help?" Korra asked.
"I think they want you go down there." Jinora said as they went somewhere.
"I don't know. The Spiritual energy is historically strongest near the temple." Tenzin said.
"No offense, but I'm guessing the spirits have actually been to the spirit world, So we're gonna follow them." Korra said.
"If we need to go to the Tenzin world, we'll call you." Bumi teased making him frown.
"Better his world than yours where everything is crazy." Sean said making him frown while Korra snickered.
Soon most of the group was on Oogi following the spirits and Bumi was playing with his new spirit.
"Oh, you are just so cute. I'm going to name you Bum-Ju. It's short for Bumi, Junior. Don't you think he looks like me?" Bumi asked.
"The resemblance is uncanny." Tenzin said not looking.
"I think dad's mad at me." Jinora said.
"Ah he ain't mad." Turok said.
"His pride is just a little bruised since he can't see spirits like you can." Kya said.
"You got a natural gift. That's pretty lucky." Sean said holding Korra close.
"Your the lucky one. You actually saw and knew the first Avatar and even created the cycle even if it was an accident. I know a lot of Avatars but I don't know anything about him. Is it even a him?" Jinora asked making him chuckle.
"It's a him. Avatar Wan. It was amazing. I remember seeing him gain his powers from Lion turtles and trained with my father. And he became the Avatar when he fused with Raava the spirit of light." Sean said.
"The Avatar is part spirit?" Jinora asked.
"Yeah. When the beams crossed and hit him he permanently bonded with Raava and the cycle started from how he gained the four elements. Fire, Air, Water and Earth. Thats how the cycle started." Sean said.
"Thats amazing." Korra said before they landed and got off.
"Are you sure the spirits are guiding us to the right location?" Tenzin asked his daughter.
"I think so." Jinora said before they came to some strange rocks.
"Hey wait a second look at the top. They have airbending carvings on them." Sean said.
"Aye." Mimir said.
"This is an ancient airbender meditation circle." Tenzin said.
"There's a lot of spiritual energy in this place, but it feels really strange." Jinora said.
"We'll have to perform a spiritual cleansing ceremony." Tenzin said.
"What are you talking about?" Bumi asked.
"Dad taught it to me. This site has been neglected for many years. A cleansing ceremony will help strengthen its connection to the spirit world." Tenzin said.
Tenzin got started on the ritual before the spirits left.
"Great you scared them off." Bumi said before the ground shook before dark spirits came out of the ground.
"AH! BATS!" Bumi yelled as they ran for cover
"Not bats! Dark Spirits!" Korra yelled.
"What do we do now?" Tenzin asked before Sean's eyes glowed green before the dark spirits glowed before the darkness was purged from them.
"Whoa. When did you learn to do that?" Korra asked.
"A little something I learned after getting my memories back. Call it a gift from the convergence 10,000 years ago." Sean said.
"None of this would be happening if I didn't open that portal." Korra said looking down.
"Korra, we can never focus on the past. What matters is here and now. Besides...You may be the Avatar but you're also human. And humans make mistakes. It's part of our nature. Whats important is we learn from those mistakes." Sean said making her smile lightly before kissing him.
"Thank you." Korra said.
Later during the night Tenzin was trying to enter the spirit world before Bumi started poking him.
"You in the spirit world yet?" Bumi asked.
"No I am not...NOW STOP BUGGING ME!" Tenzin yelled throwing the stick away.
"Ok thats it I've fucking had it. Jinora is gonna lead us into the spirit world since I've had enough!" Sean said annoyed.
"Sean calm down." Korra said.
"No I'm not gonna calm down. This son of a bitch killed my father who died to protect me! We're wasting valuable time because of his fucking pride!" Sean yelled.
"Calm down." Korra said making him let out a breath.
"No he's right." Tenzin said sighing making them look at him. "Perhaps I admit I just can't do it like my could or like Jinora. It's not my destiny" Tenzin said admitting he couldn't do it.
"Some people are born to do certain things in life and not others. Sadly for you this is one of them." Turok said.
"Aye." Mimir said before Sean placed Mimir with Turok.
Soon Jinora was helping both Sean and Korra enter the spirit world before Korra's eyes glowed.
Thats when they finally arrived.
"The spirit world. It's amazing." Korra said in awe.
"It's been a long time." Sean said.
Meanwhile
"Megaera has failed to bring the Avatar. Most likely her brother in law is stronger than I anticipated." Unalaq said to Vaatu who was still imprisoned in the tree for the last 10,000 years.
"No...He is not responsible for stopping her. The God Slayer is." Vaatu said shocking him.
"How do you know he still alive?" Unalaq said.
"Someone of that level is not so easily killed. And he and the Avatar have just entered the Spirit world." Vaatu said.
"I'll take care of him and bring the Avatar." Unalaq said.
"No...I want him alive. If anyone is going to kill him...It is going to be me. I owe him that much for putting me in this tree for so many years." Vaatu said.
