The scene opened on the Tracy kitchen. Alan could be seen humming to himself as he mopped the floor. "Hello world," Grandma Sally said softly, causing Alan to look up and blink at her in surprise. "Today is chore day."

"Yeah?" Alan said, frowning a little. "Everyone already knows about our chores. Scott covered them in the first video." He made a gesture towards the chore board on the opposite wall and then resumed mopping. Grandma paced across the kitchen to take a look at the chore chart in question. It had changed from the first video, obviously. There were new messages and new chores and new little drawings. Virgil had drawn an entire space scene in one corner, nearly obstructing the view of Alan's chores. There were little aliens climbing up Scott's section of the chore chart too.

"Looks like everything is in order here," Grandma said, pointing to where Alan's section had him cleaning the kitchen. Gordon was on laundry duty, apparently. "Gordy will have to catch up when he gets back," Grandma explained softly. "He had to take Four out to a downed sub near here."

She tapped at the board, where Scott and Virgil's names were. "Probably should check on those two," she murmured, turning away from the chart and heading up the stairs. "Don't forget the dishes, Alan!"

"I won't!" Alan called back.

"And don't roll your eyes at me, young man!" Grandma called back. A startled squawk was heard in return, and she gave a chuckle. "Yes, eyes in the back of my head. The secret weapon of all grandmothers."

Up in the lounge area, Virgil was busily mopping at the floors, much like Alan had been. Scott was talking with someone on his phone, head in hand, seated at the desk. The chart had said he was in charge of dusting, and from the look of the room, he'd done his job before settling down to cover some other business.

Virgil had earphones on, clearly in deference to his phone-laden brother, and was dancing slightly as he mopped. Whatever music he was listening to clearly was hitting the right notes for him. The smile on his face was amazing and Grandma gave a satisfied little grunt.

Scott hung up the phone and dropped his head to the desk, startling Virgil into looking over at him. "Virge! Come look at these for me? I think this proposal is flawed." He sounded beyond tired and more than a little frustrated.

Virgil strode towards the desk, mop still in hand, and tugged the tablet Scott had been looking at towards himself. He frowned. "You have a degree in engineering, Scott. You should be able to see what's wrong with these."

"I barely made it through that degree, V, and you know it," Scott grumbled, yawning. "Please? You're so much better at this than I am." And that was probably true; Virgil was amazing at engineering, and Scott was a miracle-worker when it came to business. They both had their strong points when it came to TI. (The fact that Scott had turned a multi-billion-dollar business into nearly a trillion-dollar business in just the two years since he'd taken over said a lot for his business skills, after all. There'd been multiple articles on that in multiple different magazines and newspapers in the past month alone.)

Grandma turned away from the scene as Virgil went through the designs and jotted down notes on the tablet. The camera instead focused on Kayo, coming up behind her silently. "Hello dear," Grandma said,

Kayo full on pouted. "I was trying to sneak up on you," she admitted, shifting back onto her heels.

"Keep trying," Grandma laughed. "You haven't succeeded once."

"You're the only one I can't seem to get past," Kayo said softly. She glanced over at the two men at the desk, smiling gently. "Everything going okay?"

"Chore day," Grandma said. "And yes. They're nearly done. Have you finished with the vacuuming?"

"All done," Kayo replied. She crossed her arms, showing off the pretty ring on her finger. It was a simple silver-colored band with three inset diamonds. Classy and elegant, but not over-the-top. Much like a lot of what the Tracy family seemed to portray. "I was wondering if I could just pick up some pizzas for dinner. Is anyone planning on using the jet today?"

"Do we really need to fly out for pizza?" Grandma asked. "I'm pretty sure Scott is in charge of dinner tonight."

"Scott is exhausted," Kayo pointed out. "And John has already warned of a storm on the US east coast that could cause problems. I think they'd like the pizza."

There was a moment of contemplation and then Grandma consented. Kayo gave her a smile and then headed for the desk, running a gentle hand through Scott's hair. Clearly, they weren't worried about hiding their relationship from the world anymore since Virgil and Penny had outed them. Scott looked up at her, smiling softly, and it was almost breathtaking the amount of love you could see in his eyes.

Virgil mimed gagging.

Scott kicked him in the shin.

"Boys!" Grandma called in warning, and they both called back sheepish apologies while Kayo laughed. She slipped away as the two men started discussing engineering and business again. "Did you know," Grandma said softly as she paced away from the boys to the bookshelves behind the desk. "That when Penelope proposed this YouTube idea, I was against it?"

She gave a small hum, crouching down to straighten some of the knickknacks on the bookshelf. A beaded African mask. A set of Swedish Dala horses. A pretty Japanese teapot. "I was okay with the idea of the tour; even I had heard the rumors about where we lived and what went on here. But the following videos? Answering all those questions? The insights into our lives?" She scoffed a little, brushing off a leatherbound journal and placing it carefully back on the shelf. "I didn't think the world needed to see all that."

She distractedly picked up a Native American beaded bag, running it through her fingers. "I didn't think the world deserved to know all that. I still don't." She turned, the camera focusing on Scott and Virgil again, the mop leaning against the desk now, as Virgil leaned over Scott and pointed out something on the tablet. The larger man had his hand resting on Scott's shoulder, near his neck, absently massaging the tense muscles there.

Martian came into the room, hoping up onto the desk and rubbing her face against Scotts. He started running a large hand down her back without even pausing in what he was doing. The cat, happy with that amount of attention, flopped onto the desk, just barely missing the tablet. Her purrs were loud enough to be heard from so far away and Virgil gave a slightly distracted chuckle.

"Once upon a time we were a private family," Sally continued softly. "The world was far too interested in my son and his doings and the media constantly hounded us." She grumbled a little. "Did you know that kidnappings are made a lot easier when the paparazzi is following around a five-year-old?" She was speaking soft enough that her two grandsons couldn't hear her, probably for the better. "So, we disappeared. Out of the media. Out of the public. We made ourselves private and safe. Until now."

There was a moment of silence, just the mutterings of the two men at the desk to fill the space. "I also didn't agree with the idea of International Rescue at first," Sally admitted. "Hated the idea of my boy and his children putting themselves in danger. But Jeff was adamant that what happened to his family shouldn't happen to anyone else's. So, he decided to do something about it." She hummed. "And I like to think that I'm a good mother, so I supported him even if I didn't agree with him. He did it, though, created a fleet of machines that can save people, save families. And his sons…they took that idea and decided that instead of just preventing loss, they could save the world."

"They've given so much of themselves," she murmured. "But they find these videos fun, mostly, so I've let my reservations slide." She gave another soft noise. "Don't make me regret that, world," she warned, her voice low.

Alan came running up the stairs then, at an incredibly fast pace. He hit the floor behind the desk a little too fast, though, considering it was still a bit wet from its mopping, and his feet flew out from under him.

Virgil moved even faster, grabbing Alan before he could hit the ground. Unfortunately, the sudden movement and weight had him overbalancing and he fell as well, slamming to one knee with an audible crack. Grandma remained silent for a moment, camera seemingly forgotten, as Scott jumped to his feet and made his way over.

"Sorry, sorry, sorry," Alan yelped, scrambling to his feet. "You okay, Virge?"

Virgil winced, rubbing his knee. "Ow."

"Yeah, that's not exactly an answer," Scott pointed out, glancing over Alan and seeing that he was just fine. "Wet floors, Sproutling," he warned softly before standing next to Virgil. "You okay?"

"Umm," Virgil took Scott's hand and allowed his older brother to haul him to his feet. He tested his knee a bit, cringing. "Yeah. I should be fine."

Grandma scoffed, shifting the camera a little. "Uh uh," she said. "Infirmary." Her hand came into view, pointing to down the hall. "We're going to check that knee properly." Virgil pouted, but Scott rolled his eyes and pulled him along, frowning when Virgil limped heavily. "For our main medic, he definitely has strange ideas about what constitutes as 'fine'," Grandma muttered to herself.

"Alan!" she called, and the teen jumped, turning to her with wide eyes. "Please take care of the mop and bucket," she said. He nodded, for once not throwing a fit about the extra work. He was probably feeling guilty about taking out a brother there.

"Just another day at Tracy Island," Grandma sighed, and the camera went dark.

Anyone else think that Grandma Tracy is a little scary? Because I totally think she could kick our butts if we made her angry.

Kidnapping a five-year-old? No wonder Grandma Sally hates the media. I don't recall that story, but I'm not sure its one I want to hear.
