Two Heroes, Part 2: Battle for I-Island.
As night time came, the party at the central tower of I-Island was about to start.
Izuku arrived at lobby 7, wearing a tuxedo consisting of a red and white jacket and pants with thin black lines. underneath he wore a pale yellow button-up and dark blue bow tie. He still wore his red sneakers as usual. "So sorry for the wait!" He apologized as soon as the elevator door opened and rushed to his friends. "Wait, where are the others?" However, he only found Iida, Todoroki, Kaminari and Mineta there, the girls were absent.
Tenya wore a blue suit and a white tie. Shouto wore a white one with a red tie. Denki and Mineta still wore their waiter outfits, those were formal enough.
"They haven't arrived yet. What does 'responsibility' mean for you?" Tenya replied in disappointment, he flipped his right arm as usual.
"And Sora and Riku?" Shouto asked, noting that Midoriya arrived alone, which is rare since he's very tight with the Keybladers.
"Oh, they'll come in at any moment." Izuku replied. "Riku texted that he and Sora were coming as fast as they could, I guess I was faster to get ready." He explained to the other guys as he shrugged. "Apparently Kirishima-kun brought a pair of outfits for Sora and Riku said that you left him a suit in your room, Todoroki-kun." He added.
"I did. Figured he wouldn't bring one." Shouto confirmed.
Then the elevator opened again, revealing Ochako. "Sorry, I think I'm late…" She apologized, rubbing the back of her head, as she walked in. She wore a pink and white shoulderless dress with black pantyhose and red high heels. She also wore a pearl necklace and a black bow with a white flower on the left side of her hair.
As the girl walked in with a sheepish smile. Deku looked at her with an open-mouthed smile and a blush on his cheeks, his emerald eyes were also dilated. It was safe to assume he was in awe by the girl's appearance.
Also in the background the perverted duo just ogled at her like the idiots they often are.
The elevator opened again, revealing Momo and Kyouka, the latter was hiding behind her friend with a slightly bashful expression and a blush small on her face. "My apologies, but Jirou-san…" Momo apologized to the others. Momo was wearing a lime green dress, and high heels, her hair style was different from her usual ponytail as this time it was tied up by a golden hair clip and she also wore a golden choker and fuschia earrings. Kyouka wore a fuchsia dress with a purple tie at her waist, on top she wore a black jacket, she also wore gray-ish pantyhose, red and fingerless gloves, a black choker and dark fuschia shoes, the right half of her hair was tied up by a fuchsia flower-shaped hair clip.
"Oh, yes! Yes!" Denki and Mineta cheered at the same time when looking at the raven-haired beauty.
"I'm… not used to this kind of clothes..." Kyouka said slightly bashfully.
"The clothes make the presentation, right?" Denki commented with a thumbs-up and a smile.
"She looks like an assassin…" Minoru commented about Jirou.
Next thing that happened, Kyouka shot her earphone jacks at the ears of those two idiots and sent vibrations right into them, making them shake and squirm in pain. After a few seconds, she let them go, Mineta dropped comically to the floor, twitching, as Denki leaned on his knees with a tired expression. "Don't do it again." She said to the two of them upset.
"Why do you have to be so harsh?" Denki asked her, still reeling from the buzzing in his ears.
"You make me!" The earphone jack teen shot her head to the side still upset "And you better behave or Sora and Riku will hand your asses back at you!" She threatened them of what would happen if they kept being the creep idiots they often are.
"H-hai!" Both tensed up at the mention of consequences delivered by those crazies of Sora and Riku.
Izuku looked at this sweat dropping as he smiled sheepishly at the antics of his classmates.
"It's my first time wearing formal clothes. I borrowed them from Yaoyorozu-san…" Ochako said to Deku as she approached him with a sheepish smile, swinging her fists up and down.
"I-it looks good on you. Yeah, you look great." Izuku said to her with a slightly shy smile and a red blush on his cheeks as he rubbed one of them with his left finger.
"Deku-kun! You don't have to flatter me…!" Ochako suddenly gave her back to him and waved her right arm erratically. She wore a red blush on her face and a shy smile. (We all know she liked being flattered by him, she ain't tricking no one,)
Izuku flinched in surprise at this. "Uraraka-kun?!" Iida was also surprised by the girl's sudden shout.
"Where's Sora-kun and Riku-kun?" Momo asked, not finding the spiky brunette and the silverette. And as if summoned, the elevator opened and when it did both Momo and Kyouka were jaw-dropped as they blushed profusely.
"Hey guys, sorry we're late." Sora apologized as he rubbed the back of his head with a sheepish smile. He wore a brown jacket and pants, underneath he wore a plain white shirt and of course his iconic crown necklace. (Inspired by Sorasprincess's draw for Sora's 19 Bday).
"Yeah, it took a little longer to get ready." Riku said with a slightly bashful smile as he rubbed his cheek. He wore a fully black formal suit, black pants, jacket and button up. He opted to not wear a tie as he doesn't like wearing them. (Inspired by Noctis' kingly attire outfit from FFXV.)
"Ba… Ba… Ba…" It was safe to assume that both Kyouka and Momo were entranced and starstrucked by the appearances of Sora and Riku as they just glared at them as if in a trance with deep red faces and just mumbled incoherently.
"It's okay, guys." Izuku said to his best friends as they walked in.
"I only hope you will be more punctual next time." Tenya said to them as he flipped his right arm.
"You look great guys!" Ochako said to them cheerfully.
"You think? I've never been one to wear formal clothes, I feel a little off like this." Riku commented as he briefly looked at himself before fixing up his jacket. He wasn't too comfortable wearing formal clothing
"I've never worn clothes like this either, but I think she's right. We do look good like this." Sora said cheerfully. He wasn't much of wearing formal or fancy clothes either, but he can admit that he and Riku do look good.
"Guess so." Riku replied to him as he pocketed his hands. "Say, you both, what do you think?" He then glanced at Kyouka and Momo.
"You girls think we look good?" Sora asked them as well as he crossed his arms. "You would know about this, right Momo-chan?" He asked the raven-haired girl.
"Dashing…" Momo said in an entranced voice, having her eyes glued to Sora.
"Beautiful…" Kyouka said in the same manner, having her eyes fixed upon Riku.(Yep, both are lost). Then their brains reset as they realized what just came out of their mouths. "I-I mean, you both look nice!" Kyouka corrected herself as fast as she could, her face turning hot red.
"Y-yes!" Momo nodded fevertly, her face was about the same. (And they just came back!)
"Stupid! Stupid! Stupid!" Both girls felt ashamed of themselves for how they just behaved. Although what they said was how they honestly felt about each boy respectively.
"Okay?" Sora titled his head in confusion.
"You both okay? You seem a little off." Riku asked them.
"Y-yeah, we are! It's just these stuffy clothes! Right, Yaomomo?" Kyouka lied before glancing at her friend.
"Y-yes, she's right!" Momo nodded nervously.
Kyouka flinched and tensed when Riku approached. "You sure? You're both red, especially you, Kyouka. Are you sick?" He asked her with a bit of concern. The punk girl turned redder when the Keyblade Master came closer to her.
"Y-yeah, I-I just need-!" She tried to back away from him, but stumbled and lost balance. Riku reacted fast and stopped her fall by grabbing her by the hip.
"You okay?" Riku asked her.
"Y-yes…" Kyouka muttered softly, almost dreamly. Her heart beat like a drum on her chest, her blush darkened and extended over her face due to how close Riku was and how he was now holding her by a hip like a… like a lover would… Her onix eyes looking at his soft, gentle, beautiful turquoise ones, Riku looked like a dashing, caring gentleman to her right now. Her daydream was broken when Riku setted her stance straight and let go of her. "S-sorry 'bout that. I'm not used to these shoes and…" She tried to explain to him shyly before she glanced down as she grabbed both of her jacks. "I must look so stupid now." She was deeply embarrassed with how she just made a fool of herself with the coolest, most badass and gentelest boy she ever met.
"It's cool, Kyouka. And you actually look pretty." Riku shook his head in denial with a smile.
Kyouka perked up at what he said. "Did you… Did you just call me 'p-pretty'?" She asked him as he looked at him with widened eyes. She couldn't believe what he just heard straight from Riku's mouth.
"Yeah, I know fancy clothes ain't your thing, but I do think you look pretty." Riku said to her with that gentle, kind smile she knew him from. He's always so cool and kind.
Kyouka then looked to the side with a bashful smile with a deep red blush on her face. "T-thanks, Riku…" She thanked him as she played with one of her jacks, her heart skipped a beat when Riku said such a nice thing of her and he sounded so sincere so he didn't say it out of pity or to make her feel better, it was still a bit difficult for her to wrap her mind around it, but Riku did find her pretty and for some reason it made her swell with happiness. (Ain't Riku suave as hell? Kyouka, you're a lucky girl).
"Momo-chan?" The girl was snapped out of her thoughts about how much of an embarrassment she just made and she glanced at Sora, who approached her with a slightly concerned look in his eyes, his bright, gorgeous blue sky eyes.
"Y-yes, Sora-kun?" She asked him trying to maintain her composure, but the look on her reddening face was betraying her by how the boy approached her. Is it just her or he looked more dashing now that he was closer to her? Wait… Why did she just think that?
"You sure you're okay? Your face is red and you're acting a little weird." Sora asked her, looking concerned for her. "Do you have a fever?" He then put his hand on her forehead, her face turned brighter and redder than a tomato at the sudden contact.
"Yes!" She then took a sudden step back from him, which surprised him. "I-I mean, yes I am. I was just caught by surprise and it's because it's kind of hot." She lied with a sheepish grin as she fanned herself with her hand, well it wasn't completely false when she said it was a little hot, her inner temperature just went from normal to high as soon as Sora came out of that elevator. "I just need a bit of time and a cool drink and I'll be fine." She tried as convincingly as she could to make him drop the topic.
Sora hummed at her with arched eyebrows. "Okay, if you say so." He said to her, he wasn't fully convinced, but he can tell that she wants him to drop it so he'll leave her be, but he'll keep an eye on her just in case.
Momo sighed internally in relief. Then she saw Sora turn around. "Sora-kun." She called out to him when he took a single step away, for some reason she didn't want him to walk away from her, but she just made the ridicule in front of him, she should let him! But… She didn't want him to walk away from her. "Ugh! What's wrong with me?!" Poor Momo was an internal emotional mess, such contradictory feelings inside of her, she wants him to stay near her, but she also wants to not be close to him because she'll just keep acting weird and she doesn't understand why she's feeling like this or why is she suddenly acting like this! (The answer is teenage hormones and complex feelings)
"Yeah?" Sora turned back to look at her.
"I… Um." She didn't know what to say to him, but then took a deep breath to calm herself. "I think you look really handsome." She said the first thing it came to her mind, for whatever reason she wanted to tell him that, it felt… right for her to say it.
"Really? I mean, I do think I look good, but I look that good?" Sora asked her as he looked at his clothes. "My outfit is a little simple, no?" He added.
"No, you look perfect." Momo denied with a head shake. She wore a smile on her blushed face.
Sora blinked before smiling. "Well, you know about this so I'll take your word." He said cheerfully. "You also look amazing, I guess green also goes with you. And if I'm being honest, you look like a princess." He flattered her.
"M-me? A princess?" Momo's blush deepened at what he just said, she was surprised by such flattery from the boy.
"Yeah. You nail the 'fairy tale' princess look." Sora said to her with a smile as he winked at her. He met actual fairy tale princesses and right now Momo looks like one in his opinion.
Momo felt her heart flutter with the nice words he said and the honesty behind them, Sora never would lie to her, he's always such a sweet ray of sunshine with her. "Thank you, Sora-kun. You're sweet." She thanked him with a warm smile. Sora grinned back at her, the sweet, beautiful smile she adores. (Sora is sure a charmer, but then again he's a protagonist and protagonists have harem powers)
Minoru was biting on one of his headballs out of jealousy. "Lucky bastard! Oh but I know your game, buddy! You're just playing the long game, but you're just as bad as any other guy and I'll prove it!" He knew that tactic of his of being the 'nice guy' was just to gain Yaoyorozu's favor, he is a man and there is no way in hell that he isn't so nice to her if he doesn't have the intention of wanting something with her, even less if he isn't attracted to, he knows he is! He's always deliverite trying to not look at her chest, but he noticed that he does slip up! He doesn't know how, but he'll prove he has a perverted side! (This moron is gonna end up in a body cast at this rate.)
Denki on the other hand was having a bitter look at Riku. "Hmph! So now Riku is showing off how good he is at talking to girls, eh? Just because he is so strong and so cool he thinks he can just stick it to everyone that he can charm even someone as harsh as Jirou and turn her into a blushing schoolgirl." Unknowingly, he is jealous of how Riku and Jirou seemed to be so buddy-buddy with each other and how in just a moment he made Jirou a blushing, stammering mess, but he doesn't fully understand why that upsets him, he just thinks that Riku now got into the whole 'showing off' thing that Sora had going. (Sorry Denki, but Riku is just better for Kyouka, you're cool though and way better than Mineta.)
"Uraraka-san, are Jirou-san and Yaoyorozu-san okay?" Deku asked her as he and Iida were utterly confused and clueless of what was happening with them.
"Oh don't worry, it's nothing, just, you know, girl things. You guys wouldn't get it." Ochako replied, waving her hand. Although she can clearly tell what is happening to her friends. "How are Sora-kun and Riku-kun not able to tell what's with them when they're being so obvious? They sure are dense. I bet Mina-chan and Tooru-chan would be squealing if they saw this." She honestly couldn't get how they can be so dense to not notice what was plenty obvious, seriously, it took her a bit of thinking to understand that her friends had it bad for them, how can they not? But then again, men can be clueless sometimes. She also knows how much Mina and Tooru like to ship them because they know how obvious Momo and Kyouka's feelings for the boys are, a little weird but she does get where they're coming from. (Ironic for her to say this as she's super obvious too and her crush is dense too.)
"I wonder why Yaoyorozu isn't honest with her feelings for Sora, is she afraid of rejection?" Shouto was aware of Yaoyorozu's romantic feelings for Sora, he realized during the Final Exams when he saw how meaningful he is for her. What he just saw only confirmed to him that she has feelings for him, deep ones from the looks of it.
At the same time, Mina, Tooru and Tsuyu were chilling in their hotel room.
A chill ran down the spines of the invisible girl and the pink girl.
"Aww! Something cute with the ships is happening again!" Tooru wailed as her shipping senses tingled.
"And we're missing that lovey dovey goodness!" Mina flopped in the bed, her shipping sense tingling as well. It really sucks to not see her friends being swept away by the Keyblade Wielders when they know it's happening!
"You really need to stop that." Tsuyu said bluntly to them.
"Shut up, Tsu-chan!" Both girls shouted at her.
Back with the group.
"Melissa hasn't arrived yet, it seems." Riku said, noting that the blonde american girl was absent.
Then the elevator opened again and when it did the perverted duo were jaw-dropped at the drop dead beauty that arrived, even vapor came out of Minoru's nose.
"You guys are still here? The party is about to begin!" Melissa said cheerfully as she rushed in. She looked almost unrecognizable, to begin with: She wasn't wearing her glasses. She had pink lipstick, golden earrings, a black choker with a golden piece, a red diadem on her hair that was done up in a ponytail, held together with a black bow. Her dress was dark blue on the top, white on the bottom with black lining at the end and had a black ribbon on her waist with a white flower and she also wore high heels. It was almost hard to believe this was Melissa, who was already a beautiful girl.
"An angle has arrived!" Mineta cheered as he started crying comically.
"Dammit, Mineta, I can take it anymore. What should I do…?" Denki said on one knee, also crying from the sheer beauty of the girl. (For once I have to agree with these two, she's smoking hot and we all know it.)
"They're hopeless." Kyouka commented with a smirk.
"Yep." Riku agreed, "But as long as they don't cross the line, who cares?" He added shrugging, they can be babbling idiots all they want as long as it's harmless, if they do something bad to a girl, well they were already warned.
At some sort of control room, was a mercenary operating the main computer. Two other masked mercenaries stood in the background.
On the 2nd floor of the central tower, the reception room.
Many important people, including Pro Heroes, were gathered at the party. They chatted amongst themselves, drinking from their glass cups and ate from the large and varied buffet.
"Ladies and gentlemen, welcome to the reception party of the I-EXPO. Let's make the No.1 Hero, All Might, that is visiting us today… give us some welcoming words." The presenter of the party announced, many people gasped at the mention of the Legendary Hero. "Everyone, please, give him a good round of applause!" Everyone then started giving All Might a round of applause. He was still wearing his Hero Costume like many of the Pros in here, he had a glass of wine in his right hand. "Please, come to the stage." He was asked to come up and give some words.
David and Cloud approached him. The former wore a gray formal outfit while Cloud remained in his SOLDIER uniform. (He hates wearing formal outfits.) Both also had drinks.
"Dave, I didn't come for this." All Might said to his friend, sweating slightly.
"It was obvious that they would do this by looking at All Might here." David replied with a smile.
"You owe me one." All Might said as he walked towards the stage.
"Knock Em dead." Cloud joked with a tiny smirk.
Back with the group of teens.
"It can't be. Neither Bakugou-kun nor Kirishima-kun are picking up their phones." Tenya informed the others.
"Sora, do you know where they could be?" Izuku asked him.
"Dunno. I left the room before they did, I thought they'd be right behind me and Riku." Sora shrugged.
"You don't think they got lost along the way?" Riku asked the others.
At the same time.
"Oi, you sure this is the right way?" Katsuki asked Eijiro. He was wearing one of the outfits the redhead brought him, it was a red button up with a black tie underneath a blue vest, his pants were black. He and Kirishima had been walking through this corridor for a while now.
"I think it is." Eijiro said to him a little unsure. His outfit was black with a red tie.
"You think?!" Kacchan said angrily at him.
"Well, I actually left my phone in the room…" Eijiro smiled sheepishly at him as he rubbed the back of his head. "Maybe we should have told Sora to wait for us…" He realized that both of them got lost.
At the control room, the mercenary had started a lockdown process that just came to a completion.
At the reception room.
"Thank you for your invitation. I am All Might." All Might now stood up on the stage. "I don't like to be so formal, so-" However, before he could continue, an alarm sounded, the image of I-EXPO in screen at the room suddenly changed to an emergency warning sign.
Everyone was taken aback by this.
"This is an announcement from I-Island's security system. We received an emergency report from our system… that an explosive was placed at the I-EXPO area. I-Island is now entering alert mode. Residents and tourists must return to their homes or lodgings. Those who have traveled a long way, must go and wait at the closest evacuation center. Any person who is found outside within 10 minutes will be arrested without warning. Please, abstain from going out into the open air. Besides, the majority of the main buildings will be closed due to the security system. Repeat…" This was an automatic emergency message that played everywhere in I-Island.
People hurried either to their homes, lodgings or evacuation centers as the security machines moved and scattered all over and buildings started to close automatically.
At a restaurant, Sero and Sato were enjoying their meals until they heard the broadcast.
"A bomb?!" Rikido said to his friend in shock.
"For real?!" Hanta was the same.
At Mina, Tooru and Tsuyu's hotel room. The girls sat on the bed, listening to the broadcast on the TV.
"Would everything be alright?" Mina asked worriedly.
"We'll be safe as long as we follow the instructions." Tsuyu assured her with her usual gesture.
"You're right." Mina agreed with a smile.
At the streets of the city, Shouji and Tokoyami were walking hurriedly towards their lodgings.
"We must hurry on." Mezou told the bird-headed teen.
"Right." Fumikage acknowledged.
Back at the central tower's lobby 7.
Everyone turned around in surprise as they saw how all windows were being locked up by metal blinds.
At the reception room, the doors suddenly opened and a masked gunman entered from all around the room.
The invited civilians gasped and screamed in fear as they are being aimed by the guns of the intruders
"Just as you heard. We have taken control of the security system." From the front doors a man with a white raincoat and a metal mask covering his face entered followed by two other masked assailants. This was the Villain known as Wolfram, leader of a criminal organization. "If you think of opposing… with just trying…" Wolfram signaled with his right hand and suddenly all the screens in the room showed live footage of many people in several places around the island being surrounded by the security machines. "The security machines will show their fangs upon all innocent people on this island. That's right. All people on this island." The Villain threatened with a devious smirk. "Of course, you too are." When he said that, All Might turned to look at him with an angry face. "Now!" Wolfram ordered through his communication device on his ear. Then circular devices started to appear on the floor and from them metallic laces were shot, wrapping themselves around all Pro Heroes, including All Might and Cloud.
"The restrictive devices used by security…!" Many people looked in shock and fear as all Heroes were bound by the devices.
"This is bad!" All Might attempted to stretch his bindings, Cloud was also doing the same. However both stopped by the loud bang of a gun.
"Don't move! If you take a single step, I'll kill all of them in a second." Wolfram now stood up on the stage where All Might was, he threatened the Hero as he pointed at the hostages with his pistol.
"Shit!" All Might cursed. He was put in a tight spot. He then was kicked to the ground by the Villain.
"Good boy." Wolfram smirked, pleased at the compliance of the No.1 Hero before turning to the rest of the people held hostage. "All of you will agree with All Might and do all that I say without making noise, right?" He said to them with a devious smirk. The people were terrified.
All Might then looked at Dave. "Toshi, we have no other choice than to listen to them right now." David shook his head to his friend, All Might knew what he was thinking just by looking at him.
"But, Dave…" All Might communicated to his friend through his struggling expression.
"I'll find a way to save everyone. Just hold on in the meantime." Dave said to him through his serious expression.
"Shit. Can't do anything right now." Cloud, lying tied up on the ground nearby Dave, thought to himself with a frustrated expression, he could break free if he wanted, but with the whole island held hostage, his hands were tied in both senses. "Toshi… Hold on until we find a chance to get out of this." He glanced at his friend, there was nothing none of them could do but wait…
At the lobby.
"My phone doesn't have a signal." Shouto said to the others.
"It looks like all entrances have been blocked." Riku said, noting all entrances were locked up completely.
"I don't wanna die…" Minoru muttered, scared.
Kyouka tried pressing the elevator buttons, but nothing happened. "The elevator doesn't work either." She informed the other.
"I don't wanna die…!" Minoru repeated, even more scared.
"So… We're locked up inside here." Sora said with a serious frown.
"I don't think the security system would have changed to alert mode… just by detecting an explosive." Melissa said cupping her chin, something wrong was going on right now.
"Iida-kun, we have to go to the party's reception." Deku said to him as he approached.
"Why?" Tenya asked him with his arms crossed.
"Because All Might is there." Izuku replied.
"All Might is here?" Ochako asked, surprised. The rest of the students, except for Sora and Riku, were also surprised.
"That's right." Sora nodded in confirmation. "Cloud is also here with him." He revealed to his friends.
"Strife-sensei too?" Momo asked as she and the others were surprised to hear this.
"I see, so there's nothing to worry about." Mineta said relief.
"Melissa, is there a way to get to the party?" Sora asked her.
"If we use the emergency staircase, I think we can get there." She replied, signaling at the metal door near them and everyone glanced at it.
"Please, open up the path!" Deku looked back at her.
Outside the central tower atop a skyscraper stood Luxu observing as everything played out with his good eye and the eye on his No Name Keyblade.
The Ancient Keyblade Master smirked. "Now the party has really started." He said deviously. "Time for me to do my part." He then raised his right hand and snapped his fingers.
Melissa was about to open up the doors to the emergency staircase, however everyone heard some noises from behind and when everyone turned around, they were met with a shocking and dreading view.
"Heartless!" Sora shouted as everyone looked shocked and dreaded. A large group of Heartless have spawned, consisting of 13 Neoshadows and Armored Knights each, 6 Surveillance Robots and Tireblades each, 8 Pole Cannons on the walls and ceiling, and lastly 12 Mechanitaurs.
The teens were filled with dread at the large group of dark monsters that have manifested in the sealed off lobby.
"Everyone, stay back!" Riku ordered his friends hurriedly as he summoned his Braveheart Keyblade.
"We'll handle this!" Sora summoned his Kingdom Key Keyblade before both Keyblade Wielders dash towards the Heartless, who also went in to attack them.
The Surveillance Robots and Pole Cannons shot energy projectiles at them while the Tireblades in flight mode dashed at them. The Heroes moved forward as they deflected the laser shots with no issue and slashed through every single Tireblade that came flying at them, finishing them rather easily.
A Surveillance Robot came spinning at Sora, but he jumped over it to avoid it and then snagged it, forcing it to shoot a large, powerful ray of light that he directed at all of the Pole Cannons, erasing them in seconds! When it was done, Sora kicked away the Surveillance Robot before finishing it off with a Firaga spell.
"Thunder!" Riku meanwhile, casted a Thundaga spell on the remaining Surveillance Robots, destroying them in an instant!
"Riku, behind you!" Sora warned him and the Keyblade Master turned around to see all of the Mechanitaurs charging at him like animals in a stampede.
Riku then used Zantetsuken, slashing through each and every one of them at once and destroying them!
Sora meanwhile, jumped upwards to avoid the Neoshadows using their spinning attacks at the same time, Sora then destroyed them all with a diving plunging attack. The Armored Knights then went at him, but Sora used Raising Sun and destroyed them with dashing attacks.
Sora landed on the ground safely. "Sora! Look up!" Riku shouted at him and when the Hero of Light did as told he saw a Metal Troll had spawned above him and now dived with its axe ready to attack him.
Sora moved his Keyblade in a defensive position and blocked the incoming attack in an impressive display of strength! Everyone except Riku was shocked at how Sora stopped an attack from such a golem of a Heartless that was falling above him, but that wasn't the end of it as with a roar Sora managed to push the Heartless away, sending it into the sky before Sora did a Sonic Blade right through its chest, destroying it completely!
Sora landed back on the ground safely and sighed in relief. "I think that's all of them." He said to Riku.
"Yeah." Riku nodded in agreement. They let their Keyblades vanish before hurrying to their friends
"You guys okay?" Sora asked his friends.
"Yeah, thanks to you." Deku nodded in response.
"You were amazing, guys!" Ochako cheered.
"Yes, it was amazing how you pushed off that golem like nothing." Momo said to Sora with a smile and a blush on her face.
"And you just destroyed a dozen of those things with one slash, that was very cool, Riku." Kyouka was about the same. Sora smiled as he rubbed his nose and Riku just smiled.
"Just as expected from the 'Heroes of 1-A'." Tenya smiled at the two of them.
"Sora-kun, Riku-kun. I'm grateful that you saved us from those monsters, but were those really the Heartless?" Melissa asked them with a concerned face.
"Yeah, they were." Sora nodded in reply.
"They never appeared here before?" Riku asked her.
"Never." Melissa shook her head in response.
"It's just as the authorities back home fear… The Heartless are starting to spread around outside of Japan." Deku said as he glanced down dreaded at the thought of Heartless starting to spawn around the planet.
The group dreaded at the thought as well, the midget shaking in fear and the electric blond gulping nervously.
Sora shook the thought off his head. "No time to think about that, we have to get to the party." He said with determination.
"Right." Deku nodded in response with determination and so did the others.
Meanwhile at Mina, Tooru and Tsuyu's hotel room.
"Our phones have no signal, and we can't use the internet either." Tsuyu said as she tried to get online through her laptop to no avail.
"And just watching this on TV is so boring!" Mina complained as she tried to change the channel on the TV, but it only kept showing the emergency sign.
"That doesn't matter… while we can play UNO until everything goes back to normal." Tooru said cheerfully to her friend, making both girls look at her. She had a deck of UNO cards in her right hand. (I liked the product placement, you can always have fun playing UNO)
Back at the reception room at the tower.
The Villains kept guard of the civilians and Pro Heroes they held hostage.
"Don't worry. If you do as I say, I won't hurt you. I'm ready to release you as soon as the time is right." Wolfram told the hostages as he walked around the room.
"What is it that you want?" A Pro Hero demanded to know, only for him to be kicked to the ground by the Villain.
"Wasn't I clear? I said silence." Wolfram said plainly. He then received a call from his communicator. "Alright, copied. Very well." He replied to whoever was talking to him on the other end. He then set his eyes on the man known as Samuel Abraham. "You're a researcher in this place, right?" Wolfram asked Sam.
"Y-yes." Sam replied fearfully.
"Take him away." The Villain ordered one of his men.
"What is it that you wan-?" Sam tried to ask as one of the masked Villains approached him.
"Stop!" David then approached. "He is my assistent. What will you do with him?" He demanded to know.
Wolfram turned to look at him. "You're David Shield, aren't you?" He recognized the scientist. "You'll go with them too." He ordered.
"And if I refuse?" David asked him.
"Then somewhere on this island, the scream of a blonde girl will be heard." The Villain threatened him with an evil smirk.
David got visibly madder. "I understand. I'll go." However, he had no choice but to comply with the Villain's demands.
Then David and Sam left the reception room, being escorted by one of Wolfram's men.
"Dave…" All Might could only watch as his friend was being taken away.
"Dammit." Cloud was as frustrated as him. "Just keep it cool. Cloud. And wait for the right time." He maintained his cool and just waited until the right moment to break himself and Toshinori free.
"Can I defeat the Villains and make the security system work again? And more with this body…? No, I must. Because I… am the Symbol of Peace!" All Might felt the pressure of the moment, but reassured himself that he must succeed, he always saves the day after all. He then noticed something on the corner of his eyes, he glanced upwards to the crystal ceiling above the stage. "Mi-Midoriya-shounen?! Sora-shounen?!" He saw his pupil and the otherworldly Hero, flashing the lights of their phones to call his attention.
Cloud noticed that All Might was looking upwards and glanced at the same direction. "Sora, and Deku too. Thank goodness their fine." He saw them as well, relieved to see the two boys alright.
"All Might saw us." Deku said as he and Sora stored their phones.
"Cloud did as well." Sora said, he noticed that the SOLDIER also saw them. "Kyouka-chan, can you do it?" He asked the earphone jack girl, who knelt near them, her right jack plugged to the floor.
"Yeah." She nodded. She was using her Quirk to listen to what was happening below them.
Izuku glanced down at his mentor. "Please, speak. We can hear you!" He whispered as he made gestures. The No.1 Hero and SOLDIER Hero seemed to get it.
"Can you hear me? The Villains have taken over the tower. They have control over the security system, and everyone on the island has become a hostage. The Heroes have been captured too. It's dangerous. You have to escape as soon as possible." He whispered as low as possible, Cloud saw his lips moving, but he didn't need to hear him to know he was telling the students the situation and telling them to flee.
Kyouka managed to hear everything All Might said and when he was finished, she retracted her earphone jack. "T-this is bad, guys." She told the boys looking scared. Sora and Izuku glanced at her worried.
A few moments later, the three of them returned to the staircase where the others were and informed what happened.
"We've received All Might's message. I suggest that we follow the instructions of the teacher of U.A., All Might and escape from this place." Tenya told his friends and classmates.
"I agree with Iida-san's opinion. We're still mere students. We cannot fight against the Villains without our Hero licenses." Momo agreed with him. She looked concerned.
Then an idea came to Denki. "What if we escape and we look for help from Heroes on the outside?" He suggested
"I think it'll be hard to escape. This place was built with the same level of security as the Tartarus, where the most wanted Villains reside." Melissa commented as she cupped her chin.
"Then, all we can do is wait for help…" Denki glanced down.
Sora then scoffed. "We can't stay here and just wait, we gotta do something!" He said as he stood up with an upset frown. Everyone looked at him.
"Sora's right. We can't just stay here and do nothing." Riku agreed with him. "Don't you guys also feel that we should go and help?" He asked his friends.
Kyouka then stood up, "They're right, everyone. We have to help them." She also agreed with the Keyblade Wielders.
"Oi, oi… The Villains even captured All Might and Strife-sensei! There's no way that we can go and save them all!" Minoru said fearfully.
"We got to at least try! If there's something we can do then we have to go for it!" Sora argued.
"And it's not just that the whole island has been taken hostage by the Villains. There might be more Heartless in here as well, so the people are in far more danger, all the more reason to go out and stop them." Riku also argued.
"You think the Villains are also behind the Heartless?" Shouto asked him.
"I'm not sure, but it's the most likely possibility. Heartless are naturally drawn to people that harbors great darkness in their hearts, Villains fit that description." The Silver Keyblade Master rationalized.
"I understand what you both are saying, it could be dangerous even for the both of you, more if the Heartless are at play like you say." Tenya tried to convince them to not do what he knows they'll do.
"I don't care." Sore replied unmoved. "There's people in danger and I wanna do whatever I can to protect them, isn't that what a Hero is supposed to do?" He asked his friends.
"Sora-kun, you're right but we're still not allowed to work as Heroes…" Momo said deeply concerned for him.
"Like I said, Momo-chan. I don't care, I don't care about the rules right now, saving people is more important than that." Sora said stalwartly back at her.
"Momo, you're right that we're still students trying to become Heroes. We're not yet allowed to act as such, but even so, it's not right for us to not do anything." Riku said sternly at her.
"T-that's…" Momo tried to argue back, but she couldn't.
"If none of you wants to go out and risk breaking the rules to save lives, fine so be it, Sora and I won't think any less of you." Riku said to his friends, both his and Sora's minds were made up already.
"But we won't stand idly by and hope that help arrives. We're going out to save this island and we'll face any Villain and Heartless in the way if we have to." Sora continued with determination in his eyes.
"But, guys-" Tenya attempted to dissuade them, but Sora interrupted him.
"Our hearts have decided, you won't change our minds." Sora declared with finality. "We're the 'Heroes of 1-A', at least let us live up to that name." He said in a softer manner.
There was now a tense silence. "I want to save them too." Izuku broke the silence softly. Everyone glanced at him.
"Deku-kun?" Ochako asked him.
The emerald teen the looked up with a determined frown. "I want to save them too!" He repeated louder.
"Are you planning to go with them and fight against the Villains and Heartless?! Didn't you learn anything from the USJ, Midoriya?!" Minoru asked him upset.
"It's not that at all, Mineta-kun." Deku replied. "I've already thought about it. We need a plan to save All Might, Strife-sensei and everyone else without having to fight against the Villains." He explained it to his classmates.
"I get how you feel, but is there something that is that convenient…?" Denki asked unsure.
"Even if it's hard, I still want to try it! Sora and Riku are right, I don't want to stay here and do nothing, if there's something I can do!" Izuku replied in a higher tone of voice. "I want to look for the best possible way and then go save everyone!" He said with unmoved determination.
Melissa was in awe at the boldness and determination of Deku and the Keyblade Wielders before having a determined look in her eyes.
"Deku-kun." Ochako said concerned about him.
"I-Island's security system is at the top floor of this tower." Melissa declared and everyone looked at her. "If the Villains have taken control of the system, then the authentication locks and the passwords should be deactivated. We should be able to reset the system. We just have to keep away from the Villains' eyesight and reach the top floor… and that way, we might save everyone." She explained to everyone else with determination.
"Melissa-san…" Izuku said in awe.
"What do you mean by 'keep away from the Villains' eyesight'?" Kyouka asked her.
"Currently, none of us have suffered damage. That tells me that the Villains aren't used to working with a security system." Melissa explained.
"Avoid fighting and make the system go back to normal, eh? I see." Shouto said understand with his arms crossed. Momo pondered on it as well before something came to her mind.
"We can do that, don't you think?" Denki smiled at Kyouka.
"Sure!" The punk girl nodded at him with a smile. Mineta shook nervously.
"But the Villains will be waiting at the top floor…" Momo said as she cupped her chin.
"There's no need to fight them!" Deku declared and everyone glanced at him. "If we manage to make the system go back to normal, All Might, Strife-sensei and everyone else will be free. When that happens, everything will be in our favor!" He said with confidence.
"Sounds like a plan, I'm in Deku!" Sora declared with a bright smile.
"Me too." Riku nodded in agreement.
"Sora! Riku!" Deku said to his best friend with a smile.
"Deku-kun, we have to do it!" Ochako stood up and declared.
"Uraraka-san!" Izuku glanced at her.
"You, Sora-kun and Riku-kun are right, I don't wanna stay and do nothing, if there's something we can do. I believe that's more important than discussing if we're Heroes or not, like Sora-kun said." She said to Deku-kun with determination.
Izuku then stood up. "Yeah, let's help those who need help!" He declared to her with a smile. "Like Sora would say, we have to follow our hearts and what they command us." He added.
"Yeah!" Ochako agreed.
"You got it right." Sora cheerfully patted his back.
"Sora, Riku, Midoriya." Shouto called the three of them. "I'm going too." He said to them.
"And me." Kyouka declared, pointing at herself.
"Shouto, Kyouka." Riku smiled at them and so did Deku, Sora and Ochako.
Then Tenya approached them. "We'll escape if I decide it's impossible to get there… Understood?" He said to them in a composed manner. "If you agree with that, I'll go too!" He concluded with determination.
"Iida-kun!" Izuku said.
"If that's the case, then I'm going too!" Momo declared with a smile.
"Alright, I'm going too!" Denki declared after he stood up.
"Momo-chan!" Sora smiled at her.
"Kaminari-kun!" Izuku said to him.
"Alright, I get it! I just have to go, right?!" Mineta then shouted due to peer pressure, he was crying comically due to fear of what could happen.
"Thank you, Mineta-kun!" Izuku thanked him.
"Go, Mineta!" Denki cheered his friend.
"Let's do our best, Mineta-kun!" Ochako said to him.
"But what about the Heartless if there's truly more of them here?" Momo asked, weighing in what Riku said.
"You know that we can handle them no problem." Sora pointed to himself with a confident smile. "Riku and I will go ahead and clear the way in case they appear." He added as Riku nodded in agreement.
"If it is what I think it is, if we stop the Villains, we'll also stop the Heartless before they cause big damages." Riku explained. "We'll protect you all along the way to the top." He said solemnly with his fist on his chest. His eyes glittered with determination.
"Yeah!" Sora nodded with determination.
"In that case, we'll put our trust in you, I know you won't fail us." Tenya said to them with a smile and the others nodded in agreement.
Sora and Riku nodded in gratitude.
Izuku then approached Melissa. "Melissa-san, please wait here." He told her with a smile.
"I'm going too." Melissa declared with a hand on her chest, taking the emerald teen by surprise.
"But, you're Quirkless…" He said to her with concern.
"You have someone that can change the configuration of the security system?" She asked him and everyone realized that none of them knew how to do that. "I study at the academy. I think I can be useful." She added.
"But…" Izuku tried to argue against it.
Melissa clenched her hand into a fist. "I could interfere along the way until we reach the top… but let me help you protect everyone." She said with determination. Izuku gasped in surprise. "Please!" She insisted.
The emerald teen then felt a hand on his shoulder. He turned to look at Sora with a smile on his face. "Her mind and heart's decided, we can't change that Deku. We can only believe in her." He said to him.
"She'll follow her heart as much as we are following ours." Riku said to him with a smile as well.
"Alright. "Izuku glanced down briefly before looking at the blonde girl again. "Let's save everyone!" He declared with determination. Everyone else nodded in agreement.
A smile was drawn on Melissa's face. "Yes!" She nodded in response.
At the reception room.
All Might started to cough softly as he felt his limit approaching. He glanced up and found Midoriya and Sora there once more. Cloud glanced up as well and saw them.
"Midoriya-shounen?! Sora-shounen?!" All Might was taken aback at seeing them up there again. Both shounens glared at him with determination as they nodded at their idol. "Those eyes… don't tell me…" He knew what they wanted to do. "No, flee!" He said through the distressed look in his eyes.
"No, we won't flee." Izuku shook his head at him.
"It's too dangerous!" All Might wanted to dissuade them.
"I want to do what's in my reach." Izuku glared at his mentor with burning determination.
"We must follow our heart, Sensei." Sora glared at All Might with the same burning determination.
"Shonens…" All Might thought.
Sora then glanced at Cloud, who could tell what the boys wanted to do. The Keyblader nodded at him. "You both are going to save us, won't you? Typical of you." Cloud knew that when Sora sets his mind on something, nothing stops him and so it's the case with his friend Deku. "Go." The SOLDIER nodded at him in approval, he couldn't stop him anyway.
"We'll save everyone!" Both young Heroes nodded at their teacher in determination before taking off through the corridor.
"They'll do it, after all…" All Might knew that the young ones were going to try to save everyone on the island. Vapor started to come out of him. "As a teacher, I know I must reprimand them for the actions they're taking, but if you don't move at a moment like this, you're not a Hero." Instead of being angry, he smiled proudly at the courage and determination both youths are showing, especially his successor. "In that case, I'll wait." All Might managed to hold it together and maintain his muscle form. He glanced forward and saw Cloud staring at him.
"Toshi, as teachers we have to believe in our students, you taught me that with your faith in Izuku, I have faith in him too, but also in Sora most of all. Them and their friends will get us all out of this." Cloud nodded at him with certainty in his eyes.
All Might nodded back at him. "Yes, Cloud-kun. We must hold on until then." He stared at his younger friend with certainty in his eyes. "We're counting on you, young ones!" He put his hopes in the Hero students.
"I know you won't let us down, kids." Cloud did the same.
Sora and Deku returned to their friends and nodded at them with determination. Everyone then stared at the class rep.
"Let's go!" He declared.
"Yeah!" Everyone said at the same time.
Central Tower - Top Floor. Control Room.
David and his assistant had been taken here by the masked Villain. "I brought them." After entering the computer room, the Villain informed a white-haired man on the computer.
"Hurry up and unlock the vault." The white-haired Villain said as he remained focused on working on the computer controlling the security system.
The first guy then took off his mask, revealing his face and pale orange hair. "Acting so proud and mighty…" The Villain complained after he removed his mask. He then turned his left hand into a sharp metal blade. "You heard him. If you don't want to see blood, hurry up and do it." He then aimed the blade at David's neck.
The scientist briefly looked at his assistant before looking at the Villains. "U-understood." David complied with the order.
The hand-bladed Villain deactivated his Quirk. "Go with them. Get out." He instructed the other two masked gunmen in the room. David and Sam walked out of the room while being escorted by the Villains.
Central Tower - Emergency Staircase.
The group began their ascent through the tower with Sora and Riku ahead of everyone else as they climbed the stairs.
The teens reached the 10th floor and were about to keep their ascension, but they suddenly stopped in their tracks. "Heartless!" Izuku shouted as a large number of Shadows and Neoshadows appeared on the stairs ahead.
"We got this!" Sora declared as he and Riku called forth their Keyblades and dashed at the Heartless, making quick work of them in a few slashes as they ascended to the next floor.
When they reached the next floor they saw Heartless coming down the stairs and so they continued to dispatch the pureblood Heartless as they ascended the stairs with the others following close behind as they mowed down any Heartless that popped up.
When reaching the 30th, Sora used Blitz to kill three Shadows as Riku threw a NeoShadow to the wall before plunging his Keyblade at it, eradicating it. The Keyblade Heroes quickly looked around and saw no more Heartless.
"Guess that's it for now." Sora commented.
"Yeah, but keep your eyes peeled, more could appear as we move forward." Riku told him and Sora nodded in understanding.
The others then arrived at the floor through the stairs. "This is the 30th floor." Tenya said as he and Izuku looked at the sign. Everyone ascended quite a bit through the tower.
"Melissa-san, which is the top floor?" Deku turned to ask a short-breathed Melissa.
After recovering her breath, the girl responded. "The 200th floor." She replied.
"For real?" Denki sweatdropped.
"Do we have to climb that much!?" Minoru paled at the almost absurd number of floors they had to go through.
"It's better than facing Villains." Momo said to him after recovering her breath.
"C'mon everyone! We can do it!" Sora said to his friends with determination.
The group continued with their ascent, Sora and Riku darted ahead of them as they annihilated the Heartless that appeared through the stairs as they moved forward. Floor after floor the Keyblade Heroes dashed as they killed Heartless after Heartless, either with ranged attacks, Flowmotion or powerful slashes. The Keyblade Heroes had reached floor 60 as they cleaned up the path for their friends behind them.
"They just keep coming!" Riku shouted as he casted several Dark Firaga projectiles and destroyed five Neoshadows at once.
Sora then used Strike Raid to eliminate another 9 Neoshadows that were jumping down the stairs. "I know, but we have to continue!" Sora said to his friend with determination.
Riku nodded at him and glanced forward as more Heartless spawned on the stairs ahead of them. Both let out a battle cry and dashed at them, ready to continue to fight on.
The rest of the teens ran up the stairs, following after the Keybladers that made sure it was safe to traverse them. Said teens were further than them due to their speed and Flowmotion abilities, blistering upwards as they took care of the Heartless.
As of going through floor 55, Ochako looked back and saw that Melissa was lagging behind due to exhaustion.
"Melissa-san, you want me to use my Quirk on you?" Ochako offered her.
"Thank you, but I'm okay." She refused with a smile. "Save up your power until we really need it." She added before removing her shoes and continued to run up the stairs.
The climbing continued, the Keybladers continued to erase hordes of Heartless that kept popping up on each floor they set foot on, cleaning the way for their friends. They continued their rapid ascend until reaching the stairs to floor 80.
Both of them slashed the last two Neoshadows in half and after they were all gone, both started panting in exhaustion from the continued rapid climbing and fighting through 80 floors non-stop.
"I'm starting… to hate stairs…" Sora complained between ragged breaths.
"Same…" Riku did the same, he's as short-breathed as Sora.
"What's wrong, Riku? Tired already?" Sora joked with a tired smirk as both take a breather while waiting for the others to get there.
"A little, we made quite the exercise." Riku played along as he wiped the sweat from his forehead. "But you don't look so good yourself." He teased back at him. Sora chuckled.
Then they heard the rapid steps of the others coming from behind them. The boys looked around as they saw their friends approaching. "You guys okay?" Sora asked them.
"Yeah… We're fine." Deku responded to them heavily-breathed. The others were also out of breath, Minoru looked just ready to flop to the ground.
"C'mon, we gotta continue. The coast is clear for now." Riku said to them.
"We're almost halfway there, c'mon!" Sora said in a motivating manner before he started to run up the stairs with everyone else behind him, they all got to floor 80, but when they turned the corner to continue the climb, Sora and the others came to a stop.
"The shutter!" Tenya said in dismay as the stairs to the next floor were blocked off by a shutter.
"What do we do? Break it?" Shouto asked between breaths.
"Doesn't look too hard to pierce through." Riku commented.
"If we do, the security system will react and the Villains might localize us." Melissa informed them.
"Then, can't we go through here?" Minoru said exhausted as he walked to the door leading to the hallway and grabbed the handle.
"Mineta-kun!" Deku shouted.
"No!" Melissa also shouted. However, it was too late as the grape headed midget pulled the handle and opened the door, however it triggered an alarm.
At the control room.
The white haired Villain noticed the alarm notification in the computer.
"What?" The hand-bladed Villain asked him, he had a cigarette in his mouth.
"A door was opened on the 80th floor?" The machine-eyed Villain began checking what was happening through the computer.
"You made a mistake when scanning each floor?" The other Villain asked him as he removed the cigarette from his mouth. The first Villain grumbled when he checked the live footage of the 80th floor and saw a group of teenagers running through it.
At the reception room.
Wolfram was informed by his men of the situation. "Lower all shutters on floor 80. Don't let those kids escape!" He ordered his subordinate as he signaled two of his men in the room to go after the kids.
"Copy that" The subordinate replied in acknowledgement on the other end of the call.
The two masked Villains ran out through the door. All Might and Cloud saw them as the former coughed softly. "Be careful, guys. The Villains are coming." All Might prayed for the safety of his students.
"Idiots, they don't know who they're about to mess with." Cloud on the other hand was unconcerned, not with Sora and Riku with them.
In the 80th floor's hallway.
"Okay guys, we have a breather. No Heartless so far in here." Sora said to his friends as they all were running through the hallway. So far no Heartless had popped up, but the Keybladers remained sharp in case more would appear.
"Is there another way to go up?" Shouto asked Melissa.
"There's another emergency staircase like this on the opposite side." Melissa informed everyone.
"Hurry up!" Tenya declared as he ran faster, reaching Sora and Riku.
It was then that everyone stopped in their tracks as they saw a shutter closing up ahead. "The shutters are-!" Izuku said in shock two more shutters ahead of them closing up.
"Also from behind!" Momo said to everyone as she looked behind and saw the shutters closing over there as well.
Tenya then saw the shutter right in front of them closing in! "Todoroki-kun!" He shouted at him.
"Right!" Shouto casted a big icicle from his foot and managed to block off the shutter from closing in time!
Tenya then jumped through the gap and dashed at the door nearby. He activated his Engine Quirk, tearing the legs of his pants in the process, and kicked the door, blowing it up completely! "Let's cross through here!" He called the others.
"Nice one, guys." Riku praised them as everyone moved forward.
Everyone was now rushing through the Plant Factory on the 80th floor.
"W-what is this place?" Izuku asked as he looked around the massive indoor garden.
"A plant factory. They research how Quirks influence plants here." Melissa explained.
"Stop!" Kyouka suddenly forced Izuku to stop and so did everyone else. "Over there! The elevator is going up!" She informed everyone. There was an elevator ahead and it was quickly going up, obviously to where they were.
"The Villains are following us?" Minoru asked fearfully.
"We have to hide while they leave." Izuku told everyone.
The group hid behind a large bush nearby, giving them a good view of the elevator.
"I wonder if we can use that elevator to get to the top floor…" Denki whispered to Melissa.
"Impossible. Just authorized people can operate the elevators. And they're made as resisting as an air-raid shelter, so we can't destroy it. " Melissa explained.
"C'mon, we must use the comforts of modern civilization!" Minoru complained as he shook scared.
"Alright everyone, if worst comes to worst, you guys go on without me and Sora while we deal with the Villains." Riku said to his friends with a cool and collected face. The rest of the teens, minus Sora, looked at him in surprise.
"What?! We're not leaving you!" Kyouka argued against that.
"It'll be fine, you guys know that some random thugs are a piece of cake for us." Sora assured his friends with a confident smile.
"Yes, but-" Momo tried to argue against that, but Sora interrupted her.
"Don't worry, that's just in case we're spotted and even if we are, we'll make quick work of them and be right behind you." He assured her with a smile.
"And what if the Heartless appear and you're not around?" Deku asked his best friends.
"Then you, Tenya and Shouto will have to fight them. You guys are strong enough to deal with them." Riku said to him with certainty in his eyes.
Izuku's eyes widened in awe before he nodded with determination, the engine teen and half teen did the same.
Then everyone looked sharp as they heard a ding coming from the elevator, Minoru yelped in fear.
The doors of the elevator opened, revealing two Villains. One of them was incredibly short and the other was taller and had a birdlike face. They weren't wearing the mask that the rest of the Villains did.
"Those clothes… they are the Villains that were at the party." Deku recognized them by the uniforms they were wearing.
The Villains stepped out of the elevator. "They say the kids were here." The shorter one said to his companion.
"More than that, they entered a very annoying place." The taller one replied with an annoyed tone. Both were looking around for the group of teens.
"They're coming…!" Ochako whispered, afraid. Her voice was muffled by her hands.
"Calm down." Tenya whispered at her.
"Don't come…" Minoru thought, covering his mouth with both hands to keep total silence, fear and apprehension evident on his face.
"Go away… go away…" Kyouka thought fearfully.
"Please, don't see us!" Momo put her hands in a praying gesture. Sora and Riku were ready to jump out and attack them in case they're spotted.
Then the Villains stopped walking nearby the brush the group hid in. "Found you, damn brats!" The taller Villain declared, the brush flinched.
Sora and Riku were about to jump out when both saw something that stopped them from doing so.
"What do we do now? Leave Sora and Riku?" Izuku's thoughts were interrupted when he heard a familiar voice.
"Hah?! What'd you say, bastard?!" It was Kacchan's voice. Deku and the rest looked over the bush.
"Kacchan? Kirishima-kun?" The emerald teen said surprised as everyone else to see both the explosive teen and hardening teen.
Somehow, Eijiro and Katsuki ended up here and now stood in front of the Villains. Katsuki was looking at the Villains angrily, ready to unleash nukes on them at any moment. This was something his redhead friend noticed.
"What are you both doing here?" The shorter Villain asked them.
"That's what we're gonna find out-" Katsuki talked back and was about to get answers outta them,
"Leave this to me, alright?" Eijiro, however, stopped him. "Well, we're really lost… Where do we gotta go to get to the reception?" The redheaded boy said inconsently, in an attempt to talk out of what might turn into a mess.
The Villains glanced at each other unconvinced.
"How the heck did they end up on floor 80?!" Mineta shouted in a low voice.
"They must have gotten that lost." Sora said with a concerned face. He and Riku were ready to move at any moment.
Then the right hand of the taller Villain enlarged, the skin between the fingers also extended, giving it a mitten-like appearance. "Can see right through ya, so don't lie!" The Villain then shot a large air sphere at Kirishima from his enlarged hand.
"It's his Quirk!" Katsuki reacted.
"Kirishima-kun!" Deku did the same, stood out of the bush, Sora and Riku were about to jump in and protect Eijiro.
However, right before they did, a huge icicle appeared, blocking the attack. Eijiro fell over his rear from the surprise.
"This Quirk is…" Bakugou said as he got beside his friend. Both of them looked to the side, finding Shouto after the cold vapor faded, the half teen created the ice to protect him and breathed out cold vapor as usual.
"Todoroki?" Eijiro said, surprised to see him.
Everyone else came out of their hiding spot. Riku felt a dark presence, he turned around, but found nothing, however he felt something creeping in right behind Kyouka! "Kyouka!" Riku acted fast, pushing behind him and casting a Dark Barrier in front of them, just in time to block an attack and when he did it was revealed that a Dark Thorn had spawned! The dark monster unleashed a powerful roar. Everyone looked in shock at this, some fear stricken. "Everyone, get away!" Riku ordered everyone before he used his Counter Aura to send the Dark Thorn back before Riku performed a dashing slash with enough force to send it flying towards a far away wall! Then everyone glanced at the ice wall that Todoroki created as it started shaking and impact noises were heard, the Villains were breaking through it! "Tsk! This is bad. Shouto!" Riku shouted at him.
"Right." The icy hot teen needed no further indications, he slammed his right hand to the ground. "We'll stop here for a while. You look for a route to get to the top floor!" He said to the others as he casted ice to the ground, reaching below the feet of the others minus Bakugou, Kirishima and Riku.
"Shouto, what are you-?" Sora tried to question it, but then the ground below him shook, making him and the others nearly lose their footing.
"What's happening…?" Tenya questioned. Shouto created an ice pillar right beneath the group, raising them up towards the upper platform above.
"Sora, stay with them. Leave this to us!" Riku ordered him.
"We'll be fine, go!" Shouto assured everyone else.
"Todoroki-san!" Momo shouted at him worriedly.
"Riku!" Kyouka did the same. He saved her life, she didn't want to- couldn't leave him behind!
"We'll be right behind you after dealing with this." Riku assured everyone else.
"Alright!" Momo replied to them in understanding. Kyouka however was very reluctant about it.
"Kick their butts guys!" Sora shouted at them. "Don't take long!" He added.
Riku gave him a thumbs-up with a confident smirk.
"Everyone's here? And there's Heartless too?" Eijiro muttered, totally confused. "What's happening guys?" He asked as he and Bakugou approached Todoroki.
"Didn't you hear the transmission?" Shouto asked them.
"Huh?" Eijiro seemed even more confused. He and Bakugou didn't hear any transmission of any sorts.
"The Villains have taken control of the tower and we believe they brought Heartless here with them." Shouto quickly informed them.
"They took the whole island hostage." Riku added.
"Huh?!" Eijiro gasped.
"What?!" Katsuki was taken aback by this.
Then they looked forward and saw the Dark Thorn landing nearby before unleashing another powerful roar.
"We'll talk later. You guys deal with those thugs, leave the Heartless to me!" And with that Riku rushed towards the Heartless.
"You heard him." Shouto said to Bakugou and Kirishima. He had reached the ice pillar high enough for the others to reach the upper platforms and they rushed towards the exit of the plant factory. "For now, the Villains…" Then the taller Villain opened up a hole in the ice wall with his Quirk.
The trio looked sharp, Eijiro hardened his arms in the shape of blades. "What's with that Quirk?" Bakugou questioned as he and Todoroki got ready to fight.
"Don't lower your guard." Shouto said to his classmates.
"Shut it! I know that!" Katsuki shouted at him.
The shorter Villain then took a few steps towards the Hero students. "You brats… Don't take advantage of us!" He then turned larger and his skin turned purple, giving him an orc-like form.
Shouto coated his right hand in ice and shot a barrage of ice crystals at the orc. However, the Villain smashed through the icicles with his larger fists, rushing towards the teens.
Shouto and Eijiro moved out of the way to avoid the attack while Katsuki used his explosion to jump into the air to avoid the orc Villain, the Explosive teen then propelled himself at him, his right hand glowing orange. "Die…!" Katsuki created an explosion right in the back of the enemy!
The spiky blond landed safely on the ground, little that he knew was that the Villain came out of the clouds of smoke, ready to strike at him with his huge fist!
The boy reacted and turned around. "Bakugou!" And then Eijiro pushed him out of the way and blocked the punch with his hardened arms. However, the force behind it was far too much for him, and he ended up being thrown away, going through the ice wall Shouto created and crashing in a wall!
"Kirishima!" Katsuki shouted in shock.
"Dodge!" Shouto warned him.
Katsuki reacted on time and used his explosion to jump high enough to dodge an air attack from the other Villain, which almost completely destroyed a small tree.
Shouto then created ice from his foot towards the enemy, but the Villain threw several air projectiles that carved the icicles, forcing Shouto to jump back to avoid the attack.
Meanwhile Riku dashed at the Heartless, which jumped into the air, twirling several times before performing a slamming attack that caused a shockwave of dark energy. Riku jumped into the air to avoid it. The Dark Thorn then jumped at Riku, ready to lash at him with it's right claw, However Riku sliced at the claw, making the Heartless howl in pain before trying to claw at him with the other one, which Riku also sliced at. The Keyblade Master then performed a Dark Break, lunging his Keyblade right at the chest of the monsters and diving it right to the ground causing a crater!
However, the Heartless remained. Riku tsk-tsked at this and was about to attack the Dark Thorn again to finish it off, however the monster let out a mighty roar, making the Keyblade teen wince slightly. "...!" Riku's eyes widened when he saw sharp thorny vines coming right out of the Heartless and towards him!
The Hero of Dawn jumped high into the air to avoid it, but the vines still flew at him. "Fire!" Riku shot a Firaga spell to drive them off with an explosion. Riku then landed safely on the ground and from the smoke came out many dark vines at him! Riku was forced to dash away from them as they narrowly missed him and nailed themselves in the ground, some vines then came out from the ground attempting to trap him, but Riku cut them off with ease as he gained as much distance as he could, several vines tried to close in on him as he ran, but Riku sliced them off like nothing and jumped as far back as he could. He diffed to a half when seeing that they weren't following him anymore.
Riku glanced at the Dark Thorn, now with many thorny vines coming out of its body, looking viciously at the Keyblade Master. "This'll be a little more complicated than I thought!" Riku commented as he stood up and got into a stance. The monster roared and dash at him on all fours and Riku dashed at the enemy as he let out a battle cry.
Back with Shouto and Katsuki, both of them now were back to back. The explosive teen was facing the purple orc as the icy hot boy was facing the large handed Villain.
"You're no normal kids, aren't you? Even one of you is facing one of those freaking monsters." The large-handed Villain said to the teens.
"So they're really behind the Heartless." Shouto pieced it together, being confirmed about the Heartless being brought here by these Villains.
"Who are you?" The purple orc then asked.
"As if we'd tell you, you damned Villains!" Bakugou shouted with a manic smirk.
"You don't deserve that I tell you my name." Shouto said coldly. He and Katsuki were ready to continue the fight.
At the same time, the group had reached the exit door and Sora cut the large metal door with one swing.
Sora stood up as Deku and Tenya came into the hallway right after him and the rest were behind them.
Tenya saw that both ways were blocked off by shutters. "This route doesn't work either." He said.
"Hey, what are we gonna do? We're like mices trapped in a bag!" Mineta questioned as everyone else tried to look for a way forward.
"This is as far as we can get?" Denki questioned in frustration.
"I can try to slash through those shutters and open us a path." Sora said as he got into a stance, ready to slash at the metal shutters with all his might.
Deku then noticed something. "Wait Sora." He told him before turning to Melissa. "Melissa-san, you see something that looks like an entrance in the ceiling?" He asked her as he pointed to the ceiling of the plant factory. The girl got beside him and glanced to where he pointied. "Over there!" Deku pointed at a small metal grate in the ceiling.
"The maintenance room for the sunlight system!" Melissa knew where that led. The others approached as they saw this as well.
"Wouldn't it have emergency stairs?" Tenya asked her.
"It's true that there's stairs over there, but we can just access them from the inside." She informed them.
"Even if we got so far…" Ochako looked to the ground in frustration in frustration
"You sure I can't just blast it?" Sora asked her and Melissa shook her head in denial. "Dang…" He glanced down in frustration, some of the others did as well.
"There's still a possibility." Momo declared as she was looking at the ceiling of the hallway. The rest of the teens turned to look at her before they approached her. The raven-haired girl put her hand on her chest and used her Creation to make an object, a stick explosive device, before she threw it at the ceiling, sticking to a vent entrance before blowing up, leaving it now open. "If someone goes outside through a vent, they can use the outside wall to reach the next floor." She explained to the others.
"That's it! As long as there's something similar up…" Ochako began, she, Melissa and Kyouka beamed.
"We can enter!" Melissa concluded as she and the other two girls looked at each other.
"Who can enter the vent and go up through the outside wall…?" Izuku thought out loud as he cupped his chin. Iida crossed his arms.
"I'll do it." Sora declared. Everyone glanced at him.
"You sure about that, Sora-kun? It could be dangerous." Melissa said to him with concern.
"I agree." Momo nodded in agreement.
"Don't sweat it guys, I've run up tall buildings before. What at least 80 floors of height would make a difference?" Sora replied with a confident smile. "You guys wait here, I'll open up the path, I won't be long." He added.
"Alright then, be careful, Sora." Deku obliged and the others also agreed with the Keyblade Wielder. Sora gave a thumbs-up to his friends before he jumped towards the vent and entered through the small space.
Minoru sighed in relief. "For a moment I thought they would ask me." He felt like he dodged a bullet.
"Yep." Denki nodded in response. "Although if you did, it might have made you famous and popular with the girls." He added as he crossed his arms.
The midget flinched when he realized it. "Aww man…" His head flopped down for the missed chance.
"Yeah…" Denki said bummed.
Sora went through the vent and went outside the tower. The Keyblade Hero now was running upwards the walls of the tower with a confident smile.
The boy then gasped as he saw 5 Darkballs, 8 Flutterings, 5 Air Soldiers, 5 Tireblades and 8 Pole Cannons manifesting upwards. "Aw, c'mon!" Sora complain loudly. Three Tireblades, Air Soldiers and Darkballs and 4 Flutterings dived at him as the Pole Cannons rained energy projectiles on Sora! The Hero of the Keyblade side stepped and avoided the shots as he sliced in half the Heartless that came his way and then finished the rest of them with a volley of Ragnarok projectiles!
With the way cleared, Sora pressed on and managed to reach another vent opening.
Maintenance Room.
Sora came out of the vent in the ceiling and landed safely. "Phew! Made it." He said with a smile. He turned around and found a lever and went to push it down and when he did he activated the emergency stairs, allowing his friends below to climb there. "Come on, guys! Get up!" Sora shouted to his friends as they climbed up the stairs.
After a while the others reached the maintenance room where Sora was. Deku, Tenya, Ochako and Momo thanked him for opening the path.
Melissa was the last coming up the stairs. "That was amazing, Sora-kun! As expected from a Hero!" She said to him cheerfully.
Sora chuckled as he rubbed his nose.
Mineta grumbled with his arms crossed. "Hey, you gotta admit that it was pretty cool." Denki said to him.
Mineta sighed in defeat. "I know." He replied. "Hey, Sora, thanks for doing that." He thanked him with a smile.
"Yeah, you got balls of steel, man!" Denki nodded with a smile.
Sora gave them a thumbs-up with a smile. "Alright, everyone. Onward!" Sora cheered as he raised his fist up.
"Yeah!" Everyone else did the same.
At the control room.
"Oi, you can't find them yet?" The hand-bladed Villain asked the machine-eyed one on the computer.
Said Villain was checking the surveillance feed, he managed to spot the group of teenagers going through the alleyway until one with earphone jacks coming from her earlobes, shot one of these to the camera and disabled it.
"Dammit!" The Machine-eyed Villian cursed.
"Oi, floor 80! Those kids are getting away!" The hand-bladed Villain called the two Villains sent after them at floor 80. He slammed his fist in the wall out of frustration.
At the Plant Factory.
"What is going on?!" The hand-bladed Villain asked the purple orc through the communicator.
"Silence! Shut up…!" The orc replied before Bakugou dived at him and shot an explosion from his right hand at him!
The Villain tanked through it and jumped into the air before slamming both hands into the floor, but Katsuki used his explosions to jump into the air and avoid it. The teen landed back on the ground before jumping again to avoid another slamming attack. Katsuki then used his explosion to propel himself at the enemy before he had a chance to go after him again, the explosive blond twirled in mid air and landed another solid explosion on the orc's back and landed on the ground.
The Villain went to attack him again, but Bakugou jumped over it before propelling himself at him. The Villain tried to squash him with his fist, but Katsuki was too fast and then attacked the orc with another explosion to the face!
The Villain however wasn't letting up, Bakugou landed back as the orc slammed his fists into the ground in an attempt to attack him with the debris, but Katsuki flew through them and attacked him with an explosion strong enough to send him crashing to the ice pillar!
At the same time, Shouto was sliding himself at high speeds using his ice from his foot to gain distance from the large-handed Villain. The icy hot teen then came to a sudden halt and shot huge barrages of ice at the enemy.
The Villain dashed at him before jumping into the air as the icicles came at him. Using his Quirk, the Villain not only undid the attack, he somehow compressed the ice into large ice spheres.
Shouto noticed this. "This guy's not opening a hole in space, he's voiding it!" He realized that the air attacks the enemy was using were not holes in the air, they were vacuums of it.
"So that's how it worked?" Bakugou replied. He glanced forward and saw that the purple orc got up again. "Damn, they never give up." Katsuki cursed before propelling himself into the air. "Can't keep playing with you forever!" Sparks flew out from the teen's hand and started spinning in mid air at high speeds, causing a raging tornado! The Villain roared as the explosive teen flew at him, ready to finish him off. "Howitzer… Impact!" Katsuki unleashed his strongest technique on the damned Villain, causing a huge blast! The Villain came out flying, having returned to his normal form as he was rendered unconscious.
"Can't believe it!" The other Villain furiously shot an air-vacuuming projectile at Katsuki.
"Bakugou!" Shouto warned him and the explosive teen narrowly avoided it, only having the right sleeve of his dress shirt torn off.
"Damn It… Huh?" The Villain cursed before looking at his enraged hand and noticing a bit of cloth and droplets ended up in his hand due to the voiding of his Quirk. "The hell?"
"That's the sweat from my palms." Katsuki said to him, making the Villain look at him. "It's like nitrogliserin." The teen wore a confident smirk.
Shouto understood quickly and then shot a barrage of fire at the Villain. The enemy could only react as the flames hit him, causing an explosion! The Villain was thrown off before landing on the ground to then end up being encased in ice by Shouto.
At the same time, Riku continued his fight with the Dark Thorn. The Heartless tried to attack him with its multiple dark vines coming out of his body and even with orbs of dark energy, but Riku was fast enough to dodge the attack and slice through the vines before landing another slash on the monster. The Heartless jumped back, turning itself invisible, however Riku could still hear it and most importantly, feel it's presence. Riku jumped backwards when he felt it trying to attack him from above and when the Heartless impacted on the ground it caused a large crater and made itself visible again. The thorny vines came out of its back and it's orange mane also shot at him like living sharp tentacles!
Riku air dashed at the Heartless while performing a rotating diagonal slash, slicing through the vines and the mane of the Heartless. "Shadowbreaker!" He used his Shadowbreaker technique, channeling dark energy into his rotating attack once he got to the target to then spin in the opposite direction with light energy to then finish off with a dowards slash combining both light and dark energy, the force was enough to send the Heartless flying and and end up dragging the the ground until it stopped.
However, the Heartless stood up once more and unleashed a powerful roar, if Heartless had emotions then one might think Riku just made this one mad. "I have no time to play around!" Riku then raised the tip of his Braveheart into the air and focused his magic power, the air around him turned colder. "Deep Freeze!" Riku then shot an ice projectile at the raging Heartless, who was charging at him, upon impact the Heartless was encased in a block of ice! Riku then performed a Zantetsuken and sliced the Heartless in half, erasing it from existence!
Riku turned around and saw Kacchan and Shouto rushing towards Eijiro, who was nailed in the wall.
"Kirishima!" Katsuki shouted at him.
"You're okay?" Shouto asked him.
"C-can't move… Help." The hardening teen replied.
"Are you stupid? You just gotta turn off your Quirk." Katsuki said to him matter-of-factly.
"Oh… Right." Eijiro then deactivated his Quirk, turning his arms back to normal, allowing him to move again. "But man, that sure surprised me." He added with a grin.
It was then that Riku approached them. "You guys okay?" The Silver Keyblade Master asked them.
"Yeah, we are." Shouto nodded in response. Eijiro did the same.
"Glad to know." Riku smiled in relief.
"Yeah, you too bro!" Eijiro grinned at him before standing up again.
Katsuki scoffed as he turned around with his hands in his pockets. "Thanks, Kirishima…" He thanked his friend softly.
"What the hell? You're not like that. Don't worry about it!" Eijiro replied cheerfully.
"I'm not worried!" Katsuki shouted, looking at him over his shoulder.
"Heh. So you do have a nice side, eh? Glad to know you do care for others." Riku crossed his arms with a teasing smirk.
"Shut up, you fucking edgy idiot! I'll kill you!" Kacchan shouted at him angrily.
"Hmph. Typical of a tsundere." Riku still smirked at him.
"Hah?!" Kacchan got even angrier.
"Easy bro! You know Riku likes to kid around often." Eijiro said to him with a sheepish grin.
"Alright, we have to go after Sora, Midoriya and the others." Shouto said to the other guys.
"Right." Riku nodded in understanding before both started to run towards the exit.
"Don't tell me what to do!" Bakugou said angrily at Icy hot as he and Kirishima ran after him and Edgelord.
"Hey guys, tell us what's going on." Eijiro said to Todoroki and Riku. However, all of them came to a sudden stop as they heard an alarm noise. The boys looked forward and saw many security machines coming out from all over and coming at them. Not only that, but many Armored Soldiers, Surveillance Robots, Neoshadows and Invisibles also spawned.
"Looks like they got serious." Shouto said as he and the others looked at the large group of enemies coming at them.
"Get ready, guys. This is gonna be rough." Riku then summoned his Keyblade. It seems that it'll be awhile before they catch up with the others.
At the control room.
"Boss, those kids are not normal! They're aspiring Heroes from the U.A. High School. Reserve Heroes!" The machine-eyed Villain informed his boss, Wolfram. In the computer there was information about the Japanese Hero students, including where they study.
"Those brats are probably trying to restore the security system." Wolfram replied from the other end.
At the reception room.
"You activated the security machines on floor 80, right?" The leader of the Villains asked. He saw over one of the tables as his gunmen kept an eye over the hostages.
"Yes, sir!" His subordinate replied from the other end.
"Then lift up all the shutters from floors 100 to 130." Wolfram ordered.
"Huh?" The Villain at the other end was confused at this.
"Do as I say." Wolfram said sternly.
All Might and Cloud watched the Villain with the metallic mask, both were visibly angry. The No.1 Hero's body started to let out vapor again.
The gang continued on their way to the top floor. Right now they were running along the hallway, with Sora far ahead of them as he quickly dealt with a group of Darkballs, Mechanitaurs and Large Bodies.
Sora used his Flowmotion to quickly dart from wall to wall and destroyed Darkballs and Mechanitaurs with quick and powerful slashes before Sora flew towards a Large Body, spinning around it before throwing it off towards the rest of them, causing them all to topple. Sora then performed a powerful overhead slash, creating a shockwave upon impact and destroying them all.
"Okay guys, the way's clear!" Sora informed his friends, who were quickly approaching. The Keyblader waited for them to catch up before he resumed on his way with them.
"Doesn't it look like we're having luck? All shutters have been lifted since we reached floor 100." Denki questioned as so far, the way had been clear, Heartless did spawn, but Sora took care of them with no major issue.
"Maybe they lost track of us?" Ochako suggested.
"Very unlikely." Kyouka said to her.
"They're taking us somewhere, aren't they?" Momo knew this was the case.
"Yes." And so did Tenya.
"Even so, we have to go a little higher… We'll go where they want us to go." Deku declared. Even if it might be a trap, they'll be ready to face it.
Floor 130 - Laboratory.
The gang reached the floor, only 70 more to go. However, the road forward was through a room, with what looked to be a huge machine core, and within were many security machines being vigilant of any intruder.
"There's too many of them!" Ochako said. Everyone stood right outside the room, they were looking through the windows in the double doors.
"It seems that the enemy has changed their tactic, now they're trying to capture us." Tenya analysed.
"I'm sure they found out that we're U.A. students." Izuku assumed this was the case, being the most logical explanation.
"But in that case, we too know what to expect!" Momo declared as she created a large insulated blanket.
"Yes. We'll go with Plan A, then." Tenya nodded in agreement.
"Denki, you're up." Sora said to him. His Quirk had better reach than his Thunder Spells even if it's weaker in terms of power, plus he might get shocked if he goes with him.
"Alright, I'll give it my best shot!" Denki replied with a confident smile as he slammed his fist into his open hand. Minoru gave him a thumbs-up with a smile. "I'm counting on you, Iida!" He then extended his fists forward at Tenya.
"Right!" The engine teen grabbed the electric teen by the wrists and activated his Quirk as the door opened. Iida spun several times before letting go of Kaminari, throwing him into the room and right in the middle of the large group of machines.
"Take this…" Denki dived in as he activated his Electricity. "Indiscriminate Shock 1.3 Million Volts!" He unleashed a powerful discharge upon the machines!
However, the machines closed up as they endured the torrent of electricity. "They can stand it!" Deku said as he looked from behind the blanket.
"Shit, then… 2 Million Volts!" Denki then increased his voltage output, increasing the power of his attack.
"Baka! If you do that-" Kyouka tried to warn him, but it was too late as Denki exceeded his limit, frying his brain and therefore leaving him braindead. "-you'll turn twice as stupid." She ended her phrase as everyone saw how Denki dumbly just fell to the ground, as usual with a silly grin and having two thumbs-ups.
"Normally I would laugh at this, but this ain't the time." Sora thought as he sweatdropped. (Remember, Denki went brain dead before in this story, you just didn't see it.)
Everyone came out of their covers and walked into the room. The machines stood still and had burning marks over their carcasses. "But, thanks to him, the security machines have stopped." Deku said to the punk girl. However as soon as he finished the line all the machines activated once again, several shooting wires and binding the brain-fried Kaminari.
"Kaminari!" Kyouka shouted. Everyone was shocked to see this.
"They're very strong!" Minoru was distraught.
The security machines dashed at the teens. "No other choice! Everyone, Plan B!" Tenya declared.
"Right!" Momo said in understanding, using her Quirk to create a smoke grenade before throwing it at the machines, casting a dense smokescreen. "We can obstruct their communications with this!" She declared as the Machines started to slow down, having their lens rendered useless.
"Take this!"
"And this!"
"Go!"
Momo started to create more grenades and Ochako, Melissa and Kyouka started throwing them at the bots to create an even denser smokescreen.
"My turn!" Sora summoned his Kingdom Key and dashed at the machines, now that they couldn't see, he could easily take them down! Sora slashed at one of the machines, however that only sent flying back instead of slicing in half, the attack did leave a large cut, but nowhere near as he intended. "Dang! These things are hard!" Sora cursed as several other machines went after him, Sora put more strength in his swings, slicing the machines in half, but taking quite the effort than taking down Heartless.
As Sora dealt with a group of machines coming at it, another group went at the rest of the teens. "Mineta-kun!" Izuku shouted at him.
"Give back Kaminari! He has a harem waiting for him!" The midget furiously started to throw his sticky balls to the ground, making several of the bots get stuck in them. This served as a blockage for other incoming machines. "How'd you like that?!" Minoru cheered, however this was short-lived and many other machines started to jump over the stuck ones. "Dang it! They won't stop!" The midget yelped.
Sora had turned to scrap many machines coming at him, slicing through their heads and avoiding being bound with no problem, but they just kept coming and coming, when he destroyed one, two more came in. He swung his blade and casted Blizzaga spells to stop them, making it easier for him to slice them apart. Lightning wouldn't cut it and they might also resist Fire spells, however they were many, leaving him too busy to try and reach Denki.
With a group of enemies coming at them Tenya thought about his next course of action. "Let's go, Midoriya-kun! " He declared, as he got ready to join the fray!
"Yeah!" Deku agreed, his eyes glittering with determination. He removed his jacket and rolled up his right sleeve, revealing he still wore his Full Gauntlet. He activated the gadget, turning it from its bracelet form to its gauntlet form. "One for All… Full Cowling!" He then activated his Quirk and dashed at the bots. "Full Gauntlet!" He brought back his gauntlet cladded right fist, ready to strike!
"If you use this, I believe you can use all of your power without an issue." He remembered what Melissa told him about the device she made.
There was no better time to test that one! "First, with 30% of my power…" He charged up more power in his right fist, taking it all the way to 30%! "Smash!" Deku then landed a powerful Smash, sending the wave of enemies flying! "It doesn't hurt. My arm's fine too. I can do it!" The Full Gauntlet works perfectly, now he can use more of his power without fearing of breaking his right arm!
"You're going down! Force!" Sora then cast a Graviga spell on the bots in mid air. Sora swung his Keyblade down, sending the machines crashing hard to the ground, destroying them all! "Nice one, Deku!" Sora beamed at him. The emerald teen gave him a thumbs-up in response.
When Deku punched the machines, it also sent Denki flying and releasing him from the wires bidding him and Tenya jumped to grab him in mid air, he landed safely on the ground with the brain-dead electric blond in tow.
"Jirou-kun! Where are the machines coming in?" The engine teen asked her. Jirou had her earphone jacks plugged to the catwalk. Mineta in the background sighed in relief to see his friend just fine.
"They're moving from the left!" Kyouka informed him. She quickly unplugged her jack. Mineta flinched at this.
"Alright! Let's keep moving to the right!" Tenya said to the rest of his classmates.
"Hai!" Everyone started running towards the exit, Tenya carried Denki.
"Deku-kun, you punch really well with that arm! Amazing!" Ochako smiled amazed at him.
"Yeah!" Deku nodded happily at her. He then turned his head to look at Melissa. "Melissa-san, it worked perfectly!" He said to her with a thankful smile.
"You brought it with you, eh?" Melissa replied smiling.
"The truth is that I didn't know how to take it off…" Izuku admitted with a sheepish grin.
Melissa blinked in surprise before chuckling.
"Heh. Lucky punch then." Sora punned.
At the reception room.
"Boss, there's something interfering with the sensors of the security machines and many went offline. We've lost those children." The machine-eyed Villain informed his boss through the communicator. In the background an alarm rang.
"Don't lose your head." Wolfram replied. "It's possible that among those brats there's one with a hearing Quirk." He continued with a softer voice.
The group now reached floor 137 through the stairs. Tenya was carrying Denki on his back.
Kyouka was using her Earphone Jacks on the wall to hear what was happening. "I hear a lot of wheels from the security machines coming from the lower floor." She informed the others.
"Some noise from above?" Deku asked her.
"No, it's clear." Kyouka replied.
"Let's go!" Tenya declared before everyone started to rush towards the next floor.
Floor 138 - Server Room.
The teens were running through the huge server room towards the door on the other end. Everyone came to a sudden halt when the door opened up, revealing a huge group of security machines!
"A trap?!" Tenya shouted as the swarm of machines started to move towards the teenagers.
"Tenya! Deku! Let's scrap them!" Sora got into a battle stance. Deku did the same.
"Wait!" However, Melissa stopped them. "If the servers here are damaged, it'll also affect the functionality of the security system." She informed everyone.
Then everyone looked up and saw even more machines coming down from platforms above in the room!
"How many of them are there?!" Mineta shouted in fear.
"You have to go, we'll deal with them." Momo declared before she knelt down and started to create something that was coming out of her back.
"Midoriya-kun, go with Melissa-san and find another way." Tenya said to the greenette as he put down Denki and Kyouka held him.
"Sora-kun, you go with them too. There could be more Heartless and machines in the way." Momo said to him.
Sora looked at her in surprise. "But what about you guys?" He asked her with concern.
"Don't worry about us, we can handle it. Heartless hadn't spawned yet so you don't have to worry about that either." The raven-haired girl reassured him with a smile.
Sora glanced down with reluctance before looking back at her with determination. "Promise me that you'll be alright." He told her.
"It's a promise." Momo nodded at him.
"Alright." Sora obliged, her heart and everyone else's had decided. "Let's go, Deku." He turned to him, determination reflected in his eyes.
"Right!" Deku nodded at him. "Melissa-san, come with us!" He turned to her before he and Sora ran back from where they came from.
The blonde girl was about to follow them, but an idea came to her. "Ochako-san, you're coming with us too!" He turned to the round-faced girl.
"Huh? But…" Ochako glanced at Iida.
"Please, Uraraka-kun!" Tenya said to her, the security machines were closing in.
"Okay!" Ochako nodded in understanding and she and Melissa ran after Sora and Deku, leaving the server room.
With them gone, it was up to the rest to fight off the machines.
"Torque Over…!" Tenya activated his Engine Quirk, blue flames came out of the espaces in his calves. "...Recipro Burst!" He used his technique, dashing at the enemies at high speeds, he jumped in the air and landed a spinning kick to 6 of the machines at the same time, sending them all crashing towards the wall, deactivating them!
"This cannon is for you." Momo had used her Creation to make a cannon for Jirou, although it seemed to take quite a lot from her as her breathing was ragged. "I'll make ammo!" She stood up and took a few steps back to start creating ammo.
"Roger!" Kyouka then aimed the cannon and fired at one of the machines, covering it completely in a sticky substance. Kyouka fired at another pair of machines.
"I won't let you have my harem, you hear?!" Minoru threw many of his sticky balls at the machines, making them stuck and some even toppled down. Denki was in the background, still brain dead and smiling dumbly.
Kyouka loaded up another round in the cannon. "Go!" She shot it at another machine as Momo kept creating the ammunition, although she was growing tired.
Sora, Izuku, Ochako and Melissa ran through the hallway towards the emergency stairs. There was a loud boom and a brief tremble, the two boys gasped in shock as they glanced back.
"Deku-kun, Sora-kun. you can't stop!" Ochako shouted at both of them, making them resume their pace. "If we get caught, it would have been pointless that Iida-kun and the others stayed behind." She reminded them why they must press on.
"Y-you're right!" Deku nodded at her in understanding."Everyone, please keep being safe!" He prayed out loud with a determined frown.
"Hold on, everyone! We'll stop this and save the island!" Sora did the same. Everyone rushed forward.
Back at the Server Room.
Tenya managed to kick away several of the machines with no issue thanks to his Recipro Burst. However, after he kicked away another bot, his Engine stopped. "My Engine stopped?" Tenya was taken aback by this, and to make matters worse, he looked forward and saw several security machines diving at him!
"Iida!" Kyouka shouted as she fired another round from the canyon, however it was the last she had. "Yaomomo, ammo!" She turned to her best friend, but when she did, she saw that Momo was breathing raggedly and looking exhausted. "Yaomomo?" She asked her.
"I-I've reached my Creation limit…" She muttered softly and almost collapsed were it not for Kyouka grabbing her.
"My scalp also reached its limit…" Minoru said exhausted, his scalp was bleeding from over use of his Quirk.
The security machines then shot wires at the teens, restraining them…
At the control room.
"That's cause you brats got carried away!" The hand-bladed Villain smirked pleased as he and his companion saw the live footage of them being restrained. "What happened with the four that escaped?" He asked the machine-eyed Villain.
"We're searching for them right now." He replied as he typed on the computer.
"Dammit, they're very annoying!" The hand-bladed Villain cursed as he bit his nail thumb.
The remaining teen climbed up the stairs and by Melissa's request, Sora and Deku broke through the door, leading them to an outside area of the tower, it was some sort of wind power plant, given the huge beam that held up many windmills.
"T-this is…" Deku uttered as he and Sora looked at the area in slight awe.
"It's the wind energy generator system." Melissa replied.
"Why did you want us to come here?" Sora asked her as everyone walked forward.
"If we go up through the tower, the security machines most likely will be waiting to ambush us and the Heartless as well. So we'll go up straight to the top from here. If we can get to the emergency exit…" The blonde girl explained.
"All the way up there?" Deku asked. The exit was quite high up from where they were.
Melissa then turned to look at Ochako. "We have Ochako-san's Quirk to null the weight of everything she touches, then we can do it." She explained, putting her right hand on her chest. Her hand was shaking noticeably, she was afraid.
"Alright. Leave it to me." Ochako nodded with determination.
"You guys go first. I can run up this beam no problem. I'll stay down here in case something comes up." Sora said to the others and they all nodded in understanding.
"Melissa-san, hold onto Deku-kun." Ochako said to her.
"Understood!" Melissa replied and she held onto the emerald child from behind. Ochako used her Zero Gravity on both of them, nullifying their weight. "Go…!" She then pushed them up. Deku and Melissa raised up like balloons up the beam. Sora stayed beside Ochako as he waited for them to reach the emergency exit. "Perfect!" Ochako muttered as everything is going well so far. However, from the door on the other end of the area came out many security machines! "Oh, no…!"
"I got it, Ochako-chan!" Sora called forth his Keyblade and dashed at the machines, however he suddenly came to a stop when a group of Neoshadow spawned from below! "..!" Sora jumped back as a Neoshadow almost clawed at him, and when he looked behind him he was surrounded by a huge group of them! "Shoot!" He cursed, the Heartless and many of the machines came at Sora, he fought with all his might to slice through them all as fast as he could but they just kept coming!
Furthermore, several of the machines and even the Heartless started to go towards Ochako!
"Uraraka-san!" Deku shouted.
"Deactivate your Quirk and flee!" Melissa shouted as well.
"I can't! If I do, then we won't be able to save everyone!" Ochako stood defiantly as she looked at the enemies coming at her!
"Ochako-san!" Melissa shouted in dread.
Deku glanced towards their goal with a mortified frown. "Hurry up! Hurry up! Hurry up! Hurry up! Hurry up!" The end could not come any faster as the machines and Heartless closed in on Uraraka and Sora was still stalled by the many enemies surrounding him.
"Ochako-chan!" Sora shouted in horror as a pair of machines and Heartless had jumped at her.
When it seemed like she would have to try to fend herself, that was when out of nowhere Riku and Katsuki appeared, Riku sliced in half the Heartless as Katsuki threw a big blast on the machines with a smirk. Everyone was taken aback by this.
"Kacchan!" Deku shouted.
"Riku!" Sora beamed.
The Keyblade Master sliced his way through the huge horde of enemies to reach his best friend. "Sorry we're late, it took longer than expected." Riku apologized as he stood back to back with Sora.
"Nah, you're just in time!" Sora smiled at him. "Let's do it, Riku!" He said with renewed determination.
"Yeah!" Riku replied with a smile of his own and then they dash in opposite directions as they slashed apart any Heartless and machine that came to them.
Several of the machines and Heartless coming at Ochako were suddenly trapped in ice. The gravity girl turned around. "Todoroki-kun and Kirishima-kun!" She saw both of them rushing towards the scene.
"You alright, Uraraka?" Shouto asked her as he stood in front of her.
"Yeah, I'm fine." Ochako replied. "Deku-kun and Melissa-san are going towards the top floor right now." She explained.
"Yeah, I can see that." Shouto replied. As Sora and Riku battled a large circle of enemies surrounding them, Katsuki and Eijiro were also dealing with several of the machines and a dozen of Neoshadows. "Let's stop this guys right here!" Shout declared as he casted a large wall of ice towards the enemies, trapping the machines and freezing the Heartless to death.
"Don't tell me… what to do!" Katsuki shouted at him as he blasted away a machine and then grabbed a Heartless that tried to lash at him by the head, blast it and then slammed it in the ground and blast it again.
"But you make a great team!" Eijiro commented as he knocked away a Neoshadow and a machine with his hardened arms. For non-Keyblade Wielders, dealing with Heartless was already quite hard, on top of the incredibly sturdy machines they also had to deal with.
"Shut up!" Katsuki shouted at him as he blasted at the enemies.
"Thanks, every-" Deku said happily as Melissa also smiled, however both were blown away by the wind coming from the windmills.
"Deku-kun! Melissa-san!" Ochako shouted.
Shouto saw this and reacted fast. "Bakugou! Make one of the windmills aim at Midoriya!" He ordered him as he took off his jacket as he ran to the beam.
"I told you to not tell me what to do!" Despite shouting angrily at him, Katsuki propelled himself and blasted at one of the windmills, bringing it low enough to aim at Deku.
Shouto got below it and engulfed his left arm in flames, causing the sleeve of his shirt to be burned off. before shooting a burst towards the windmill, causing it to spin fast and shoot a hot air blizzard at Midoriya and Melissa, sending them flying towards the tower.
"A hot air blizzard!" Ochako cheered.
"Amazing!" Eijiro did the same as Bakugou dealt with more enemies.
"Nice one, Shouto!" Riku smirked at him as he slayed three Heartless with an overhead slash.
"Thank you, Todoroki-kun." Deku silently thanked his friend.
"Deku-kun! We'll crash against the wall!" Melissa warned him. Both of them were flying towards the wall, unable to stop!
Izuku tensed at this. "This Full Gauntlet is strong enough to endure three punches from Uncle Might." He remembered what Melissa told him about his Full Gauntlet.
The emerald teen clenched his right fist. "No time to hold back!" If his gauntlet could endure a punch from All Might, then he knew what to do. "Hold on tight!" He told Melissa.
"Okay!" The girl held on to him for dear life.
"One for All: Full Cowling!" Deku activated his Quirk. He charged up more power in his right fist. "Detroit Smash!" He used the Smash technique and opened up a huge hole in the wall of the tower!
"They entered the tower! Release!" Ochako released the Zero Gravity effect when Deku and Melissa managed to enter. When that happened, Deku and Melissa started to fall, he quickly grabbed her and braced himself for the impact.
Meanwhile, Sora and Riku kept dispatching enemies quickly.
Riku thrusted right through one of the machines before kicking the lifeless carcass towards other incoming machines and Neoshadows. Sora used Strike Raid to slay many Heartless before his weapon came back to his hand.
The problem was that both were still encircled by enemies. "Okay, it's enough!" Riku shouted, fed up with the constant coming of enemies. He activated his Shadowbreaker Mode. "Freeze out!" He casted from his left foot ice, his ice manipulation was better than Shouto's, allowing him to create a ring of ice underneath all enemies surrounding him, but without touching Sora. Then the ice completely encased all of the enemies! "Burn out!" Riku then plunged his Keyblade into the ground, unleashing a ring of fire upon the frozen enemies, turning the Heartless to ash and the machines to molten metal!
"Wow…" Sora was in awe.
"Sora, go with Deku and Melissa. Leave the rest of these guys to us." Riku said to him with determination, there were still machines and Heartless to deal with.
"Okay!" Sora didn't need to be explained any further and dashed towards the beam and ran up to it, reaching the catwalk in no time. He was about to jump at the huge gaping hole in the wall, but then over a dozen Invisibles spawned in his way. "Ugh! It just can't get any easier, can it?" Sora groaned in frustration as he got into a stance and dashed at the Heartless.
At the reception room.
"Send Swordkil and the others!" Wolfram ordered his subordinate as he pushed aside one of his gunmen. The alarm siren still played in the background.
"Yes, sir." The other Villain replied from the other end.
"Defend the control room until I get there!" He commanded as he walked out of the room. The situation called for him to take matters into his own hands.
Both All Might and Cloud saw the Villain leaving.
"Hold on… Hold on, All Might! I'm sure they can do it! I'm sure!" The legendary Hero thought to himself as he struggled to maintain his muscle form, indicated by the vapor that still came out of his body and his struggling face.
Cloud on the other hand remained cool. "Just a little longer and we'll be out of this." The SOLDIER knew that if the leader of the thugs got so desperate it was because the students are about to make it. He and Toshi just had to wait out a little longer.
Deku and Melissa had landed inside the emergency staircase, just 2 floors below floor 200.
Melissa laid on top of Izuku, who used his own body to soften the falling for her. The girl got off him. "Deku-kun, are you okay?" She asked him worriedly as she helped him sit up.
"I-I'm fine..." Deku replied. "What of you, Melissa-san?" He asked her.
"Yes, I'm fine. Just a few scrapes." The girl nodded with a smile as she checked her arm, she only had minor bruises.
Izuku smiled in relief, however he quickly glanced behind him and rushed to hold Melissa in his arms as both rolled away from an attack of the Villain known as Swordkil, who nearly sliced down at the boy with his hand-turned-blade.
The Villain charged to attack once again, but Deku blocked him with his gauntlet-cladded arm. "You unruly brats…!" Swordkil barked as he tried to push harder against the emerald teen.
"What are you looking for?!" Deku asked with anger in his eyes.
"Don't play Hero!" Swordkil then turned his right hand into a blade and tried to attack the boy, forcing Izuku to dodge. The Villain swung his right blade at the boy, the attack was blocked by his gauntlet, but he lost his balance, falling out through the hole, but he latched on to the end.
The Villain laughed evilly as he got ready to attack the defenseless boy. "Stop!" Then Melissa rushed in and grabbed the arm of the Villain, however this was only a few brief seconds as Swordkil got free from her grasp.
"Outta my way!" The Villain knocked her away with his elbow, in the process leaving a cut on her arm from which she bled. "Little brat-"
"Smash!" Deku jumped back and clobbered the enemy in the face before sending him crashing harshly against the stairs, cracking them! "Melissa-san!" Izuku rushed to her as she sat up.
"Deku! Melissa!" Then Sora jumped in through the hole. "I saw what happened, you okay?" He quickly got beside them. Both boys knelt in front of Melissa.
"I'm fine. It's not so bad." Melissa said to both of her friends, in her right arm was a shallow cut.
"I can heal that if you want." Sora offered her.
"Don't, I'll be okay and you need to save up your strength and magic for when we really need it." Melissa denied with a smile as she shook her head.
"In that case, give me your arm." Deku then grabbed her arms as he pulled out a piece of cloth to wrap around her wound. "I'm sorry, I couldn't protect you…" He apologized to the girl.
"It should be ''Thanks'', don't you think?" Melissa replied with a smile.
Deku was in awe. "Yeah!" The emerald teen nodded. Sora also smiled. Deku finished tidying up the bandage around Melissa's arm. "Let's go and save everyone!" He declared as he stood up.
"Time to beat the bad guys and save the island!" Sora did the same with enthusiasm and determination.
"Yeah!" Melissa replied standing up as well.
The trio rushed through the last set of stairs.
"They're here!" The teens were met with a pair of gunmen right on Floor 200, the top floor. The Villains shot salvos of bullets at the youngsters. Sora went in first with his Keyblade in hand, perfectly deflecting the many bullets with his Keyblade until he reached the Villains, knocking one of them to the floor with such force that it cracked upon impact!
Deku came right behind Sora and after he took down the first Villain, the emerald teen jumped over the second before punching him down stairs. The duo bumped fists in brief celebration.
"We made it." Izuku said to him, smiling.
"About time." Sora said in slight jest.
Tower - Top Floor.
At last the teens made it to the top floor after such a hard and dangerous ascension through the tower.
The trio peaked their heads from around the corner, after seeing it was clear they ran through the seemingly empty and eerily quiet corridors. "Melissa, where's the control room?" Sora asked her as they moved forward.
"In front of the central elevator." The girl replied.
"Lucky it seems there's no Heartless in here." Deku said to his friends. If that were the case, they would have spawned right now. The teens approached another corner and glanced to see if the way was clear. "There's someone there." Deku informed his friends. Sora and Melissa glanced in the same direction as Izuku. The trio saw the door of a vault opened and within they saw David and Sam.
Melissa gasped when she saw her father. "Dad?" She muttered in confusion. David was operating a computer within the vault and gave instructions to his assistant, but the teens couldn't hear him.
"Oh, that's right!" Deku said, also recognizing the scientist. Sora also looked surprised to see the man up here.
"Why is he on the top floor…?" Melissa questioned in a whisper.
"The Villains brought him to force him to do something?" Deku speculated.
"That's a vault, right? Maybe they came to steal something and they need him to give it to them." Sora also speculated.
"We have to save him!" Melissa said to the boys with a look of worry and urgency.
"Right." Both boys replied in unison before the trio moved in quietly towards the vault.
Within the storage room.
David quickly typed on the computer. The man smiled as a beep came from the computer. "I was able to unlock it. Go to block 1147." He ordered his assistant.
"A-alright!" Sam quickly rushed through the stairs towards one of the many security lockers within the huge storage.
"I'm opening it." David said as he unlocked one one the lookers, opening it as Sam approached and took a big suitcase within.
"You did it, Professor!" Sam said to the scientist, who smiled in relief. "Everything is in here." The older assistant presented the contents of the case to his boss, most importantly the headwear device within the case.
"Yes, finally I have it back." David said softly as he lowered his head. He clenched his fists tightly. "This device and the research data are the only things I wouldn't give to anyone. I'll never give it up." He added with finality reflected in his eyes.
"Everything is going according to plan, isn't it?" Sam said to him as he closed up the case again. David glanced back to his assistant. "It seems that the Villains are also doing it well." He added with a pleased tone as he got in front of the stairs.
"Thanks. All of this was thanks to the fact that you organized everything for me, Sam." David thanked his faithful assistant as he rushed up the stairs to pick up his device.
"Dad…" That was when the men heard Melissa's voice and they turned to the door with looks of surprise. They saw Melissa alongside Midoriya and Sora.
"M-Melissa…" It was all David could say as he saw his daughter right there with a look of disbelief written on her face. The other two youths had their eyes widened, blinking in confusion.
"Miss, what are you doing here?" Sam asked her.
"What do you mean with 'organized'? Dad, don't tell me it was you behind this whole incident? To get that device…? Is it true, dad?" Melissa asked her father as she took slow steps forward. Her voice was soft, slightly breaking.
David remained silent with his mouth agape. He closed his eyes before looking at her again. "That's right." He confessed to his daughter.
The boys quickly got beside Melissa, looking as much in shock as she herself was. "What…? Why?" None of it made sense for Melissa, she could not comprehend any of it…
"The professor was only trying to recover what was stolen from him. This impressive invention that amplifies Quirks mechanically…" Sam explained to the teens, showing them the case.
"Amplifies Quirks mechanically…?" Deku repeated as he, Sora and Melissa looked confused.
"Yes, it was still in testing, but with this device, unlike drugs, Quirks can be amplified without affecting the body." Sam elaborated about the invention within the case. David only glanced down silently. "However, the sponsors confiscated this invention and all data from the research. The research itself was also frozen. If this were to be known to the world, then the structure of the superhuman society would change drastically. Fearing that, the governments of different nations put pressure on it." He retold the fateful day in which David was informed that his investigation was to be ceased, the device itself and the results being taken away from him… "That's why the professor…"
Flashback…
"Can I recover my research? How?" David asked his assistant. Desperate to get back his invention and the data of it.
"Instead of doing it ourselves, we'll make some Villains steal it." Sam suggested.
"Don't be ridiculous…" David replied, looking to the side, finding even the idea of it absurd.
"There's no need for them to be real Villains." Sam said, making David look at him again. "We can hire people to pretend to be Villains and be the ones who steal it. Of course, they won't hurt anyone. Once done, we can continue our research somewhere else." He elaborated his plan. He took a few steps forward.
"But…" David glanced to the side with doubts on the plan.
"I want to recover the research, no matter what. Don't you feel the same?" Sam questioned the scientist. In the end David accepted Sam's idea. "I've completed the preparations. We will carry out the pre-opening day of the I-EXPO when the tower is closed. The plan will start at the same time as the reception party, the only moment in which all people involved will be together. We will be pulling the strings from behind while the Villains make it seem like I-Island has been taken." Sam explained the details of the plan to the professor and everything was set to take place, although it came at a cost as the closer the time came, the larger lab the professor used to have was dismantled and his coworkers left. "Professor…" Sam called out with concern after he and David saw how the rest of the scientists left them. David turned to look at him with a dejected face, it pained him a lot that it had to come to this, but there was no turning back now…
End of the Flashback…
"No…" Melissa muttered in utter shock, Sora and Deku were also shocked and unable to say anything. "All of this is a lie, isn't it, dad? Tell me it's a lie!" The girl wanted badly to cling to the false hope that all of this was a lie and that her father had nothing to do with this...
"It's not a lie." Unfortunately David could not bring to himself to lie to his daughter.
Sora and Deku gasped softly at this. "This doesn't make sense…" Melissa said in a breaking tone, she shook a little. The boys looked at her with concern. "The dad I know would never do something like that! Why…? Why?!" She demanded to know why her father, the man she admired for so long, would commit such a crime.
David titled his head to the side with his eyes closed as he could no longer look his daughter in the eye. "I'm doing it because of All Might." He replied. The trio of teens were taken aback by the response. "You three probably don't know it, but his Quirk is vanishing." He revealed to them, Deku and Sora's eyes widened in shock as they knew why that was happening. "But, if he uses my device, I can turn him back to normal. It can even give him more abilities than he started with. The No.1 Hero… The Symbol of Peace… can have his light again… and save many people once more!" David declared as he looked back at the teens with a sincere smile. He was willing to go through such lengths for his friend and the peace he brought…
"Because All Might passed me One for All… The professor got worried that All Might would lose his power, and…" Deku could not help but feel a huge guilt weighing down on his chest.
"All of this… was because Mr. Dave didn't know the full truth…" Sora also felt the same amount of guilt weighing down on him. Both boys knew what was happening to their idol, but they were told to not say anything, but if only they did… If only David knew…
"Please. Please let me give this device to All Might. There's no time to do it again!" David begged as he rushed and grabbed the case in his hands. "Once he has it, I don't care what kind of punishment I receive. I'm ready to-" He continued.
"They risked their lives!" However, Melissa interrupted him. "Do you have any idea that Sora-kun, Deku-kun and their companions had to go through to save the hostages?! Did you know that the Villains you hired brought Heartless into the Island with them?!" Melissa questioned with anger as she removed and showed the cut on her arm to her father. Her shock turned to indignation and anger.
David was left briefly speechless. "What do you mean? Heartless here? The Villains were fake…" He replied with a confused expression. "It should all have been an act…" He glanced at his assistant, who only glanced down.
"Of course it was all an act." Then everyone turned to the door and found Wolfram alongside his right hand man "An act pretending to be a fake Villain." He declared with a villainous smirk.
"That guy…!" Deku activated his Quirk as Sora summed his Keyblade. However, before both of them could act, the Villain touched the wall and used his Quirk, causing metal rails to shoot up from the ground and towards the boys, wrapping the metal around them like a rope as they were embedded on a nearby console. When it happened, Sora lost grip of his weapon and vanished when it dropped to the ground.
"Deku-Kun! Sora-kun!" Melissa hurried to the bound teens.
"A Quirk that allows him to manipulate the metal, eh?" Izuku deduced as he and Sora struggled against their metallic bonds.
"I'm surprised that you brats made it this far, even going through those monsters, the Heartless, you called them, right? For now, stay quietly there for a while." Wolfram said to the young Heroes in an aloof tone as he walked to the stairs. "Sam, where's the device?" He then turned to the older man.
Sam then swiftly took the suitcase from David's hands. "H-here." He replied as he rushed down the stairs and towards the Villain.
"Sam…?" David was taken aback by this. "Don't tell me that from the start you planned on giving the device to the Villains?" He asked with shock and disbelief in his eyes.
Sam stopped in his tracks. "Y-you're the one who tricked me. I served you for a long time, but you let your research be frozen so easily, and the honour and renown that we were supposed to have, disappeared… If I didn't gain at least some money, then it was all a waste of time!" He declared before looking back at the professor with tears in his eyes. He felt betrayed and disappointed in David ever since that day that he lost all of his research.
David couldn't reply to this, he just tilted his head down with his eyes closed.. Even if he felt betrayed, he also couldn't completely blame Sam for this.
"Here's the reward that I promised you." Wolfram declared as he aimed his gun at Sam and shot at him in the shoulder.
David was in shock.
"Sam-san!" Meissa covered her mouth in shock as the boys were also shocked at this.
"W-why? This is not what you promised!" Sam questioned the Villain as he lay on the floor, holding his bleeding shoulder.
"Promise? I don't remember it." Wolfram said cynically as he aimed his gun at Sam. "Here's your reward." He declared with an evil grin and then the gun was shot again and blood was spilled. However, to the shock of Sora and Izuku, it wasn't Sam's…
David was the one that ended up shot in the shoulder, putting himself in between Wolfram and Sam to protect him from being killed. The scientist collapsed on the ground…
Melissa gasped in shock and horror.
"Professor, why…?" Sam asked him in shock, especially after he just stabbed him in the back.
"R-run away!" David replied in a soft voice as he laid over his chest, his blood forming a puddle beneath him.
"Dad!" Melissa rushed to her father.
"Don't come!" David warned her. However, it was too late as Wolfram struck her in her face, knocking her away "Melissa!" David shouted as he saw his daughter end up on the ground, her hair came undone.
Sora and Deku reacted enraged, struggling harder against their bindings in an attempt to break free. Deku activated his Full Cowling, Sora's body started to manifest dark red bolts as his rage started to increase rapidly.
Wolfram cruelly stomped on David's back. "You want to play Hero after all? There's no point. It doesn't matter your reasons, you dirtied your hands with misdeeds. Whether we were fake or real, the crime you committed won't disappear. You're the same as us. You can't be a scientist anymore nor continue with your research. You just can fall into the darkness of the Villains." The metal-bending Villain declared as he laughed evilly. David's face twisted in shock as those words sank in. Melissa laid on the ground as she started to cry as she witnessed this. Izuku and Sora pushed harder against their bindings. "What you can do now is mass-produce this device for me." Wolfram declared as he pulled the professor up by the collar of his neck, he then chopped his neck, rendering David unconscious. "Oi, take him away" He ordered his right hand man.
"Give him back!" The Villain glanced down and saw Melissa on the ground. "G-give me back my dad!" She begged, her eyes dripping tears.
"That's right! I got to get rid of all the professor's ties." The Villain then aimed his gun at Melissa with a sadistic grin.
"STOP…!" It was then that Sora and Deku broke free of their metallic bindings! The boys dashed at the Villain at full speed!
"Smash…!"
"Sonic Blade…!" Both teens flew at the enemy, ready to strike at the same time. However, Wolfram reacted fast, he let go of the professor and touched the ground to use his Quirk and erected a large metal wall in front of him.
Deku's fist collided with the wall, creating an impression as Sora's Keyblade was thrusted upon it, causing large crack markings! It was impressive how durable the wall was, it wasn't torn down by the combined attack.
The boys then glanced at Melissa as they pushed harder against the wall. "Melissa! We'll save your father!" Sora said through his eyes, burning with blinked in surprise.
"So, save everyone else…!" Deku said through his glowing emerald eyes. The same burning determination reflected in them.
The message got across, Melissa nodded with determination in her eyes and quickly stood up and rushed to the door.
"Go after her! Don't let her escape!" Wolfram ordered his right hand man.
"Yes, sir!" The machine-eyed Villain obeyed and went after her. Sora and Deku tried to stop the Villain, but Wolfram made many metal walls to stop them. The boys glanced at each other and nodded. Deku turned around and jumped to the wall, bounced off it to the adjacent one and dived back to the ground while at the same time, Sora slashed through the metal walls, both teens were now in front of the Villain, forcing him to recoil in surprise! Melissa was able to get out of the storage room and rushed towards the control room.
"We won't let you pass!" Deku declared. However, both boys glanced up and saw a large metal pillar coming at them!
"Deku!" Sora got in front of him as he raised his Keyblade in a defensive position and casted a barrier to defend himself and Deku.
"Don't get cocky!" The metal-bending Villain shouted as he created more metal pillars and shot them at the boys!
Sora struggled to remain steadfast. He then felt two hands pushing his back forwards, the Keyblader glanced over his shoulder and saw Deku nodding at him as he helped him keep up his defense! Sora nodded back at him with determination. Now both young Heroes were holding the barrier against the assault!
"Everyone…"
"Everyone…" Sora and Izuku were pushing back against the incoming metal pillars coming at them through the barrier.
"Everyone…" Melissa rushed through the hallway towards the control room.
"All Might…"
"Cloud…" More pillars collided against the barrier.
"Dad…" Melissa hurried towards the control room.
"I'll definitely…"
"I'll definitely…" Sora and Izuke remained unmoved as they were buried under many metal pillars!
"I'll definitely… Save them!" Melissa reached the control room, quickly activating the computer and almost immediately resetted the security system!
A sound rang through the upper floor and both Villains looked up. "Shit. She managed to turn the security system back to normal?" Wolfram cursed.
The shutters lifted through the tower as the security system was reset back to normal.
At the wind energy generator system.
Riku shot five Dark Firaga projectiles at the last of the Neoshadows as he stood beside Ochako, Kacchan, Shouto and Eijiro. Everyone was ready to battle the machine security when they just closed up, seemingly turning off.
"The hell…?" Kacchan was confused at this.
"They stopped?" Ochako was the same.
Riku smiled. "They made it!"
At the server room.
The machines had stopped and the wires binding the teens retracted.
"Sora-kun, Midoriya-kun and Melissa-san made it?" Tenya wore a smile. In the background, Minoru just sat beside the still brain dead Denki, the midget was tired.
Momo was leaning on Kyouka for support, the girls were smiling at each other.
"All of I-Island's security systems are operating in normal mode." The automatic message broadcasted through the island, the machine went from the menacing red to their normal white as their normal functions were restored.
Rikido saw this from the window of his hotel room he shared with Sero. "It's back." He said to his friend.
"My phone is working again." Hanta said to him with a smile.
At the tower's reception room.
The binding that trapped the pro Heroes came undone, much to the shock of the masked gunmen.
"W-what happened suddenly?"
"What happened?" Both Villains questioned as they took steps back. However, before they knew what happened they were harshly knocked away from behind, cracking it! It was Cloud who did this, moving behind the Villains and knocking them away with a swing of his Buster Sword effortlessly. The people cheered at this.
But Cloud pained no mind as he rushed to All Might's side, who sat on the ground coughing softly as vapor came out of his body, "You okay, All Might?" Cloud asked as he knelt beside him. His expression was calm and collected.
"Better than ever, my friend." All Might said to him with his trademark smile. He stood up. "Let's go, Omnimerc!" He declared to the younger Hero.
"Right!" Cloud stood up and both of them rushed out of the room.
"The young ones really did it." All Might said to his friend as they rushed through the hallways.
"Of course they did, they're our students." Cloud replied, having no doubt in their students.
Back at the upper floor.
Wolfram was carrying the unconscious David, his wrists and ankles were tied up by metal bindings. In his right hand he carried the blood-stained case with the device. "Where's the chopper?" Wolfram asked his right hand man.
"It has landed." The machine-eyed Villain replied.
"Let's get out of here." Wolfram ordered as he walked out of the storage room.
"Y-yes, sir." His right hand man replied as he followed.
Inside the room. The metal pillars that buried the young Heroes suddenly exploded and from the smoke Sora came out, collapsing on all fours breathing raggedly.
"Sora!" Deku also came out, unlike his best friend, he was just fine as Sora took all of the assault with his barrier spell before deflecting it, but it took a lot out of him. "You okay?" The emerald teen knelt beside his downed friend.
"We gotta… move Deku…" Sora said in between breaths as he looked at him. "We gotta save… Mr. Dave!" He slowly stood up. "If we don't, why are we even here?" He concluded with determination in his eyes and sheer willpower in his voice. As exhausted as he was after the non-stop fighting, he was unwilling to lay down if he could still move!
"Yeah, you're right." Deku nodded at him as he stood up again. Both young Heroes stood in front of the door. In the corridor outside a group of Neoshadows spawned from the ground. "We'll do what we can right now!" Deku declared with determination.
Sora got into his battle stance as Deku activated his Full Cowling once again.."Let's go!" The Hero of Light declared before both of them dashed at the enemies to mow down their path to save David!
All Might and Cloud were rushing through the hallways to find the Villains and stop them.
The No.1 Hero came to a stop as he heard his phone ringing. Cloud also came to a stop when he saw his friend picking up his phone from his pocket.
"What's wrong, Melissa?" All Might asked his niece after he picked up the call.
"Uncle Might! Dad was captured by the Villains, and Deku-kun and Sora-kun went after them!" Melissa told him with urgency as she watched the live footage of the Villain going towards the heliport on the rooftop of the tower as well as Sora and Izuku rushing after them after they killed all the Heartless in their way.
All Might's body stopped exhaling vapor. Cloud also heard this as All Might put the call in to speak up. "It's alright! We are going there!" All Might declared as he and his younger companion wore serious expressions.
Wolfram and his right hand man reached the heliport at the rooftop of the central tower, where they were met with the pilot of their escape chopper.
"Boss, what about everyone else?" The pilot asked the Villain leader.
"We're leaving before the security system gets reactivated." Wolfram ordered both of his lackies.
"Y-yes, sir!" Both replied in acknowledgement as they hurried into the chopper and started it off.
"Kill… me…" David muttered as he recovered his consciousness.
"I'll add up some more sins to your list… Then, I'll make your wish come true." Wolfram said coldly as he approached the chopper. His men ignited the engine on and the Villain put the case and the professor within the helicopter.
"Wait!" It was then that the Villain heard someone shouting, he turned around and saw Izuku and Sora at the door leading back inside the tower.
"Give us back Mr. Dave!" Sora shouted, he and his best friend wore visible enraged expressions.
Said scientist was surprised to see both teenagers here.
"I see… You came to recover this who commited a grave crime?" Wolfram questioned the two young Heroes with a devious smirk.
"No!" Deku shouted at the Villain as he activated his Full Cowling once more. "We came to save the professor!" Then both he and Sora dashed forward.
Wolfram slammed his right hand to the metal floor. "Save a criminal?" He declared deviously as he used his Quirk to shoot a metal pillar at them.
As they rushed forward, both noticed to their surprise a massive swarm of Shadow Heartless show up from outside the tower and dived at the boys!
"Deku! Go for Mr. Dave! I'll deal with the Demon Tide!" Sora declared before jumping skywards at the massive Heartless swarm known as a Demon Tide.
Deku pressed on forward toward the chopper. "We'll save everyone! And we'll save the professor too!" The emerald teen declared as he bravely jumped over the first pillar. A second pillar came at him and hit him, but he tanked the hit and jumped over it, a third pillar came at him, but he was able to twirl over it.
At the same time. The Demon Tide dived at Sora, but the Keyblade Hero air dodged to the side and taking the chance embedded and dragged his Keyblade through the massive swarm of Heartless that was passing by him, destroying many of the Shadows that comprised it. The Keyblade Wielder landed back on the ground and looked up to see the Demon Tide circling in the sky before shooting many Shadows at Sora, who sliced through them all. The swarm of Heartless then dived at him once again at high speeds, but Sora dodged it as the Demon Tide plunged itself into the ground through a dark portal. When Sora landed again he saw a dark pool appearing below him, so Sora jumped backwards high into the air as the Demon Tide came out towards the boy, but he shot three Firaga projectiles at it to force it back.
"What are you talking about?" Wolfram then shot more metal pillars at Deku.
"Shut up!" Deku shouted back at the Villain. "That's what Heroes do! They save people in trouble!" He declared as he jumped over the pillars coming at him and punching through one coming at him. He dived with his fist ready to strike at the enemy!
"What did you say?" Wolfram then aimed his gun at David, making Izuku gasp in surprise.
"Don't worry about me… Run!" David shouted to the boy.
Deku landed back on the ground with an enraged face.
"Damn, it is a big drag to be a Hero. I didn't do much, and you can't move anymore." Wolfram said in a mocking tone before he created another metal pillar from the ground that flew at the emerald teen, hitting him hard and sending him rolling backwards before he came to a stop. Izuku looked up and saw two metal pillars diving at him, he dodge to the side the first one and then jumped the other way around when the second came, he bounced off the first metal pillar to get distance, however when he glanced down he saw a metal pillar coming at him from below! The pillar struck him, sending him upwards where he collided with another metal pillar coming from behind to be followed up by a third pillar that raised right in the middle of the collision, knocking Deku higher into the air and causing him to spill out blood from his mouth! "No matter what, it's not a smart way to live." Wolfram kept mocking the boy.
Deku landed harshly on the ground, his Quirk deactivated.
Sora fought off the Demon Tide, he jumped backwards to avoid another swarming attack and when he did, he saw what happened to Izuku. "Deku!" Sora shouted, but before he could do anything else he looked over his shoulder and to his shock he saw another Demon Tide coming at him! Sora raised his Keyblade to defend himself right before being hit but the second Demon Tide, the Keyblader was knocked backwards and rolled over the ground. When he was about to stand up, the first Demon Tide attacked him from right below him, knocking him into the air! And then the second Demon Tide knocked him back to the ground, slamming him hard against it!
Sora came out of the brutal assault very bruised and with several scratches around his skin and clothes and with blood dripping out the edges of his mouth.
"Let's get out of here!" Wolfram ordered his men as he stepped inside the chopper.
"Roger!" The pilot replied and the helicopter took off to the sky.
Izuku got on all fours and saw that his friend was also downed. He gasped in shock. "Sora!" He shouted.
The Keyblader raised his torso up. "I'm fine! Don't worry about me!" Sora assured him, he was battered, but he was mostly fine. Sora looked up and saw one of the Demon Tides coming down at him. "Just go!" He shouted at him as he jumped out of the way from the plunging attack.
Izuku then set his sights on the chopper that was flying away, he activated his Full Cowling and dashed forward with a mighty cry. "That guy shouldn't be able to use his Quirk without touching me with his hand." He speculated quickly as he ran through one of the metal pillars before jumping high into the sky towards the chopper! The boy was able to latch himself to the undercarriage, making the helicopter shake and losing it's balance!
Deku held on for dear life. "You…" David muttered as he witnessed the lengths the boy went through and the bravery for Sora to face such alien monstrosities on his own.
Back on the floor, Melissa rushed in through the roof access and saw how Deku was latching himself to a flying chopper and Sora battling two Demon Tides in the sky. "Deku-kun! Sora-kun!" She shouted.
Sora was running through one of the Demon Tides, slashing at any Shadow that came out to attack him before he jumped high as the others came to attack him from below. Sora dragged his Keyblade though the second Demon Tide while spiraling downwards before jumping off of it as the first flew at him and Sora rained in a volley of Ragnarok shots at it.
Deku held on to the chopper as tightly as he could. "Professor!" He called out to David as he extended his hand at him.
"Stop it. Midoriya-kun, flee!" David urged him. Izuku nearly fell off, but pulled his upper half within the chopper.
"Melissa-san is…" Izuku reached out his right arms to him again. "Melissa-san is waiting for you!" He declared with determination, refusing to let the scientist be taken away.
David's mouth was agape at this declaration.
"Certainly you and your friend are Heroes." Wolfram declared, recognizing the heroism in both youths. "But you both are idiots." He then aimed his gun at the boy with an evil smirk. However, before he could shoot at him, David moved quickly, using his legs to divert the Villain's aim before he shot and when he did, the bullet ended up hitting Deku's Full Gauntlet, however he lost grip and fell off!
Melissa cried in horror when she saw him fall from the sky.
Sora had slashed through a Demon Tide with Hurricane Winder before he saw his best friend dropping from the sky. "Deku!" Sora then glided at him as he outstretched his free hand in order to grab him. However, he glanced at the side and saw both Demon Tides coiling together like snakes before merging into a massive swarm of Heartless and flew at Sora! "...!" Sora raised his guard up as he braced for its impact that ended up knocking him downward in the same direction Deku was dropping as he lost his grip on his Keyblade.
"Don't give up! Think! What to do…? What can I do…?" Izuku thought in desperation as he outstretched his right hand towards the chopper that was getting away.
The Keyblader opened one of his eyes and saw the chopper getting away. "Dang it! Don't let it go! Do something Sora…! Anything…!" Sora did the same as Deku as both of them were dropping from the sky, and then both crashed back on the rooftop at the same time, causing a crater!
"Deku-kun! Sora-kun!" Melissa hurried towards them.
Wolfram knocked David against the wall of the chopper. "Have sweet dreams!" He said as David dropped unconscious again, leaving bloodied stains on the wall. The chopper was getting away as the massive Demon Tide circled around the rooftop of the tower in a ring of the dark monsters…
"Shit…"
"Dang…" Both Sora and Izuku cursed as they winced from the harsh collision. A line blood was dripping down from their foreheads
"Deku-kun! Sora-kun!" Melissa hurriedly got into the crater to check on her friends. As they cursed softly.
"Bring him back!" Deku shouted from the top of his lungs as he sat up.
"Bring Mr. Dave back!" Sora did the same.
"DAMM...!" Both shouted loudly in unison.
"Why those long faces? This is not the time to give in."
"Exactly! This is the moment to smile, Shounens!"
Both boys gasped in surprise as they recognized those voices speaking to them.
Two men go upwards the tower at extreme speeds, reaching the skies above the chopper in no time at all. One of the men unleashed a strong gust of wind, throwing the chopper off balance as the other shot energy beams at the massive Demon Tower, splitting in many parts causing countless Shadows to rain down and many even fading out of existence.
Two of the Villains were shocked and terrified as their leader only scowled deeply. "Everything's okay now. Why? Because we are here!" It was All Might making this declaration as he was airborne alongside Cloud. Salvation has arrived at last!
Sora and Izuku gasped in surprise to see their teachers. Melissa smiled in relief that her uncle and the SOLDIER came just in time. "All Might!"
"Cloud!"
Then many of the Shadow Heartless re-grouped themselves once more, turning into a Demon Tide again and flying towards the Heroes.
"Hands off our students!" Cloud's blue aura flared up and dashed at the wave of Heartless with his Buster Sword in hand. He mowed the incoming wave with fast slashes from his sword until only leaving the glowing core of the Demon Tide. "Ascension!" He thrust his blade into the core before bringing it in and himself higher into the air in a glowing pillar of red energy, slaying the Heartless!
"I'll make you give back my friend, Villain!" All Might then shot himself at the chopper and brought back his right fist. He punched through the chopper, making it explode in the air! Another big blast occurred in the air as Cloud and All Might landed beside the teenagers, the latter having Dave in his arms.
All Might put Dave on the ground gently and removed the bindings from his ankles as Cloud hooked his weapon on his back.
"Dad… Dad!" Melissa rushed and knelt in front of her father. In the background the burning remains of the chopper fell from the sky and crashed on the edge of the rooftop, causing yet another big explosion. Sora and Deku stood up, the former holding his right shoulder while the other held his left one.
David recovered his consciousness and looked at his daughter with a weak face. "Me-Melissa…" He muttered weakly as he tried to reach for her. All Might broke the metallic bindings tying up his wrists.
"Everything's okay now." All Might said to the teenagers. The teengers smiled in relief, tears of joy came out of Melissa's eyes.
"I'm glad." Izuku said in relief as Melissa wiped her tears away.
"It's over now, you're all safe. You kids did well, thanks." Cloud said to them as well, his expression was calm, but in his eyes there was a glint of pride.
Sora smiled at the SOLDIER. "You're welcome, Omnimerc." The Keyblader replied. Cloud wore a soft smile on his face.
"All Might… Omnimerc…" Cloud and Toshinori glanced down at David. "I…"
And then, in a shocking twist, a metal pillar suddenly came at the three men, knocking them away! The trio of teenagers reacted in shock.
"All Might!"
"Cloud!" Sora and Izuku shouted as their teachers landed harshly on the ground.
The floor cracked and from it many cables came out, trapping David and taking him to a growing cluster of metals that was surrounded by tendrils made of various metallic objects put together.
"Dad!"
"Professor!"
"Mr. Dave!" The trio of teens shouted in shock and horror.
David was entrapped within the cluster, being tied up by cables as he became buried in many of them before being sealed off by metal plates. "That Sam…! Said that All Might's Quirk was decreasing, and that he didn't have the power he once had." At the top of the growing pile of metal came out Wolfram, his metal mask was gone, the lower half of his face was burned black, his eyes darkened and his voice turned more deep and robotic. Not only was it shocking that he survived those explosions, but now that he wore David's invention on his head, meaning that his Quirk and power increased!
"He's using… the professor's device…" Deku said in shock as his friends looked at this in shock.
Cloud stood up once again with a scowl on his face. He glanced at Toshinori, who was kneeling on one knee as he was coughing in his left fist as vapor came out of his body.
All Might slowly stood up. "Shit! There's no time...!" He had coughed out blood. His time was almost up. He glanced at his younger friend, who nodded at him with determination in his blue eyes, All Might nodded back at Cloud. "You don't know when to give up, eh?!" All Might declared as he and Cloud dashed at the Villain at extreme speeds, breaking the floor beneath them and causing a small gust of wind. "Texas… Smash!" All Might brought his left fist back.
"Sonic... Blade!" Cloud brought his Buster Sword back. Both Heroes went out to strike at the same time. However, with a wave of his hand, Wolfram erected a metal wall from the ground right before All Might and Cloud could land their attacks, ending up colliding with the metallic barrier that totally blocked their attacks.
"...!"
"What?!" Both men reacted in shock at this as the barrier didn't even break from the powerful joint impact!
"All Might!"
"Cloud!" Both Sora and Izuku reacted in utter shock as well.
"How do you like this?" Wolfram then waved his hand again, causing several metal pillars to sprout out from the metal wall, striking at the Heroes in a big impact! The resulting shockwave caused a huge cloud of dust and the fire from the explosion to extinguish.
Blue vein-like markings appeared over the upper part of the tower. A magnetic force caused metal from everywhere in the affected area to tear off from the ground and float into the air and go into the cluster of metallic debris, making it grow larger.
Sora and Deku looked at this in utter shock and horror.
Far below from the top of the central tower, on top of one of the surrounding skyscrapers stood Luxu, remaining observant of everything that was playing out with a smirk. "And now for the big movie finale." The ancient Keyblade Master raised his right hand and snapped his fingers.
Back at the battle.
Countless pieces of metal from the tower were being drawn towards the growing cluster of metal created by Wolfram's increased power.
"As expected from something created by David Shield. I can say that my Quirk is being revitalized." Wolfram declared with a deranged smirk, his pupils gleamed purple. The Villain laughed maniacally. "This is good. This thing is great!" The cluster he was on top of grew larger and higher.
"I-is that Dave's invention…?" All Might questioned as he and Cloud held to cracked metal plates from the ground.
"Shit…" Cloud cursed under his breath.
"The power of the device that dad made…" Melissa said softly as she looked fearstrucken.
All of the metal that Wolfram drew into joined up together in a huge cluster, at the very top where Wolfram stood, there were two glowing blue lights, making it seem like a huge metal monster. To make matters worse, countless Shadow Heartless started to manifest from the bottom of the cluster before fusing with the metal all the way before the 'head', creating an even more nightmarish monstrosity of blackened metal with countless glowing yellow eyes.
"Heartless…!" Sora shouted in shock as he looked at this.
"That bastard's no longer a human... just a deranged monster." Cloud thought out loud.
"Now then, to raise the price of this device… Why don't we make a demonstration of how it can finish off All Might?" Wolfram declared with a power-drunken smirk before sending metal pillars at All Might as several Demon Tides emerged from the cluster towards Cloud. Both Heroes dashed to avoid the many attacks from the enemy. As Cloud drove off the several Demon Tides, All Might jumped towards the Villain.
Wolfram just smirked as he sent another metal pillar at the No.1 Hero. All Might punched at it, managing to push back briefly before being sent slammed against the ground!
This caused a tremor that raised up the ground that Melissa stood before collapsing, the girl screamed as she fell, fortunately Deku caught her in mid air. He and Sora were dashing away from the chaos and took Melissa to safety.
"All Might… It's just as I thought… He's at his limit!" Deku and Sora glanced over their shoulder as they dashed in the air, they saw their idol struggling to hold the metal pillar at bay, the Hero's body was shaking and coughing out blood!
"Sensei…! Hold on, All Might!" Sora knew as much as Izuku was happening to the No.1 Hero.
Cloud performed an extremely fast slashing combo, cutting his way through the Demon Tides. "All Might!" The SOLDIER saw the pinch his friend was in and dashed to help him, but then two more Demon Tides came out of the cluster, one flying at Cloud from above, forcing him to jump backwards before looking down and saw another emerging from below him, making Cloud shoot a Thundaga projectile to drive it off.
Cloud landed on the ground before dashing to attack the Demon Tides. "Rgg… That swordsman is annoying… Why can't I take his sword away?" Wolfram scrowled deeply as he saw how Cloud slashed through the Demon Tides like they were nothing, dodging their attacks and slaying the many Shadows comprising it. The two Demon Tides merged into a massive one before diving at the SOLDIER, but he used Blade Burst, shooting three beams of energy at the massive swarm of Heartless, slashing through it like butter with a hot knife and erasing it. This only made the metal-bending Villain more angry, on top of being unable to use his empowered Quirk to just crush his Buster Sword. "Out of the way, you worthless piece of scum!" He roared as he sent 7 metal pillars at him!
Cloud saw this, but only reacted with a deep frown before dashing forward. He jumped and slashed at the metal in his way as he darted around dodging the pillars Wolfram sent at him. "My name is Cloud Strife!" He declared as he slashed through a pillar right in the middle before flipping forward. "I'm the SOLDIER Hero: Omnimerc!" Three pillars came at him, but Cloud slashed through them with a Blade Burst. "And I won't allow you to hurt my best friends and my students!" The SOLDIER used the falling debris as stepping stone to dash forward at the Villain, however the swordsman glanced down and saw a Demon Tide coming at him from right below him, Cloud reacted too late and the swarm struck him sending him upwards before slamming him back towards the ground! He ended up landing pretty close to All Might.
"Omnimerc…!" All Might shouted when he saw his friend go down before he started coughing out blood due to overexertion.
"Damn…" Cloud groaned as he looked sat up with an angry frown.
Wolfram laughed sadistically at him. "How noble of you, then share the same as your friends, Omnimerc!" The Villain gloated as the Demon Tide flew at him at high speeds, the Shadows comprising it turned into a dark goo-like substance with countless glowing yellow eyes before reshaping into a massive sharp thornhead spike.
Cloud reacted fast, slanding up and putting his guard up and blocking the incoming attack! The SOLDIER remained steadfast, but it was getting difficult to maintain the defense against such a heavy attack that was pushing hard against him like a literal tidal wave.
Wolfram laughed maniacally as he sent another two pillars at All Might and another two Demon Tides came out of the cluster and shapeshifted into spikes that came at Cloud! The pillars crashed against the one All Might was holding off, putting many more tons of weight as Cloud casted a barrier in front himself to block off the Heartless spikes.
Meanwhile Sora and Deku, who was carrying Melissa in his arms, landed on the ground only to jump high again to avoid a metal pillar that was coming down at them. While in mid air, many large orbs composed of Shadows came at them, but Sora destroyed them with a volley of Ragnarok. The boys scowled deeply as they saw their teachers in such a horrid pinch.
"Uncle Might! Cloud!" Melissa whispered loudly as she witnessed this as well.
Another two metal pillars crashed against All Might and another two Heartless spikes came at Cloud. The SOLDIER and the Legendary man struggled against this onslaught, the latter more so due to being at his limit and coughing out more blood!
"Hurry up and die crushed!" Wolfram shouted with an insane smirk as he shot many more pillars and Demon Spikes at the Heroes!
"ALL MIGHT!"
"CLOUD!" Both Sora and Izuku shouted in horror.
Suddenly the pillars stopped as they were frozen solid as the Heartless were hit with projectiles of light that when coming into contact became totally encased in golden-ish ice before exploding, erasing the Heartless.
Wolfram looked up to see what caused this and saw two teens jumping high into the air.
"Go to hell!"
"Back off, Villain!" It was Riku and Katsuki. The Keyblade Master, who shot a massive volley of Dark Divide as the explosive boy shot explosive projectiles at the Villain.
Wolfram raised a huge metal wall to block this as a Demon Tide came out at them, but was quickly eviscerated under the many explosions from the shots of the rivals.
Sora and Izuku landed safely on the ground, the latter let down Melissa as the three turned to see this.
Kacchan's right arm tensed due to overuse of his Explosions, the boy held his wrist as he winced in pain while he and Edgelord were still airborne. "How can you let yourself be punched by such a weak final boss?! Eh, All Might?!" He shouted at his idol.
"Is that all you got?! C'mon, Omnimerc, I know you're stronger than that! You've been through worse than that asshole!" Riku shouted at the SOLDIER.
"Bakugou-shounen!" All Might said as he struggled.
"Riku!" Cloud did the same.
"As long as you can resist… The Villains…" A worn out Shouto declared as his right side twitches due to having his left side ignited, in the roof access behind him came in everyone else. Tenya was helping Momo as Ochako and Kyouka held Denki up, they glanced forward and looked in shock at the battle in front of them.
"Shouto!" Sora grinned.
"Guys!" Both him and Deku said in unison with big smiles.
"We'll take care of the metal chunks!" Eijiro declared before he hardened his arms.
"Yaoyozoru-kun, take care of everything here!" Tenya entrusted her after he let go of her.
"Right!" Momo nodded in acknowledgement as Iida and Krishima dashed forward to join the fray.
"With my students so motivated, I can't stagnate for some stupid limit! I need to surpass my limits, and go beyond!" All Might's resolve was ignited at the bravery of his students, his body steadied as he went over his limit!
While Todoroki, Bakugou, Kirishima and Iida took care of incoming metal debris coming at them, Riku took care of incoming Demon Tides with barrages of dark flames.
"Damn…! And here I thought Sora was reckless!" The SOLDIER wore a smirk. "Can't disappoint our students now, All Might! They are future Heroes, let's show them a good example!" Cloud's blue aura manifested, his power output increasing!
"Yes! Let's go beyond, Omnimerc!" And then the No.1 Hero pushed away the metal pillars as the SOLDIER undid his barrier spell, erasing the Demon Spikes! With the way clear, the Heroes dashed at the Villain at high speeds! "Yes, PLUS ULTRA!"
The frozen metal pillars broke free and flew at the Heroes as Many Demon Tides emerged from the cluster!
All Might smashed through the first pillar as Cloud slashed down a Demon Tide in half! Many pillars and swarms of Heartless came at them, but they were utterly destroyed by an insanely fast combo of mighty blows and deadly slashes! All Might and Cloud dashed forward airborne as another pillar and Demon Tide came at them, but Cloud slashed through the metal in half as All Might punched through the wave of Heartless! Two pillars came at them, but the Heroes avoided them, drifting on top of them before jumping forward to two Demon Tides coming at them, erasing them like nothing!
Three metal pillars and three Demon Tides combined into a massive tidal wave of Heartless and closed in on the Heroes!
"Carolina…!" All Might crossed his arms.
"Cross…!" Cloud did the same as his blade glowed red.
"...Smash!"
"...Slash!"
The attack was utterly eviscerated, and X-shaped rays of light over a large kanji made of light manifested before a strong rippling wind ensued!
Sora, Deku and Melissa shielded themselves with their arms.
After a few seconds, Wolfram uncovered his eyes and saw that All Might was coming from up front and Omnimerc was skywards with his blade overhead.
"Get ready, Villain!" All Might went to land the final blow at the same time as Cloud! However, Just as the Heroes were about to finish the Villain off, All Might became restrained by many cables, held by adjacent pillars, wrapping around his wrists and ankles. A wave of darkness came at Cloud, trapping him in a floating pool of darkness, only exposing his torso and head. "Is that all you got-?" Then All Might was grabbed by the neck by Wolfram's left arm.
The Villain's muscles increased suddenly, tearing the cloth in his arms."Get ready? That's what I should say to you, All Might." Wolfram declared with an evil smirk, the device on his head bolted briefly. His skin started to glow in ultraviolet colors and the burned part of his face returned to normal.
"What's this power…?" All Might questioned before his neck was squeezed tighter, making him spit out blood. Wolfram then put his right hand where All Might's injury was before clenching it!
All Might cried in agony. "All Might!" Cloud struggled against his binding in an effort to break free, but two tendrils of darkness just wrapped around Cloud's neck, forcing him to stop as he was now being choked. However, it didn't end there as the swordsman then got shocked and he cried in pain.
"All Might!"
"Cloud!" Both Sora and Deku rushed in an attempt to help their teachers, but suddenly stopped as they felt the intense pain coming from the right and left shoulder respectively, forcing them on one knee as they held their aching shoulders.
"Deku-kun! Sora-kun!" Melissa rushed to their side.
"Dammit…!" Katsuki cursed as he used his explosions to doged metal pillars and Demon Tides coming at him.
Shouto used his ice to avoid a metal pillar coming at him, propelling himself into the air. The icy hot teen scowled as he crossed his arms to shield himself.
Riku had turned a Demon Tide coming at him to ash before jumping high into the sky to avoid another that tried to come at him from below. The Keyblade Master dashed to the side to avoid another coming at him from above. "Damn…!" He cursed as he was in a pinch along with his companions.
"This power augments muscles… there's multiple Quirks…" All Might's body was emanating vapor again as he endured the agony he was going through. "D-don't tell me…" And that's when he realized it…
"Yes, when we were planning this heist, I received a call from that man. He said he wanted to work with me, he even sent this old guy that works with him to give us the Heartless. When I asked him why, this is what he told me:" Wolfram explained with a devilish grin, the device in his head bolted briefly.
"If All Might's friend has said that he needs a hand in something evil, then I definitely want to help. It's very unfortunate that I cannot see All Might's face mired in pain when he finds out. It is a good thing that my dear friend will witness it from afar."
"All for One…!" All Might knew that the only responsible would be the Symbol of Evil himself…
Cloud's face twisted in shock when he heard this as well.
"So you've finally stopped smiling, eh?" Wolfram sneered cruelly at him.
"No…!" Enraged, All Might pushed hard against his binding in an attempt to break free.
Wolfram let go of his neck only to push him away via a metal pillar as the Villain laughed maniacally.
"All Might!" Cloud shouted.
"Don't think I forgot you!" Then the SOLDIER was pushed away, ending up right beside his friend.
Both Heroes struggled to break free of their entrapment. However they glanced to the sides and saw many floating cubes composed of many metal debris. Two cubes came at them from both sides, crushing them right in the middle!
"...!" Sora and Izuku's eyes widened in shock and horror. The One for All heir activated his Full Cowling as the Keyblade Hero started to manifest bolts of dark red electricity around his own body and his eyes turned glowing crimson.
Many more cubes of compressed debris collided against the first two, forming a huge pile of floating metal!
"All Might! Omnimerc!" Momo, Kyouka, Ochako and Minoru shouted in unison in pure terror. The raven-haired girl created riot barriers to protect herself and the others behind her.
"Uncle…! Cloud…!" Melissa muttered in utter dread.
"Farewell, All Might and Omnimerc!" Wolfram declared, making many metal stakes and Demon Spikes pierce through the floating pile of metal!
"UNCLE MIGHT! CLOUD!" Melissa cried from the top of her lungs.
It was then that Sora and Deku jumped towards the floating debris Riku, Shouto and Katsuki reacted in surprise.
"Detroit… Smash!"
"Ars… Arcanum!" They struck at the same time, Deku with a punch and Sora with an overhead slash. The force was strong enough to cause the metal to blast apart, releasing All Might and Cloud, also destroying the Demon Spikes!
The young Heroes and their teachers fell from the sky and many pieces of metal and debris rained. However, as the boys fell, both were struck by large pieces of debris.
Clouds of dust raised as many debris rained down on the battlefield.
"Those brats!" Wolfram cursed before debris fell over him! In the shocks caused by the many collisions, David's head came to be exposed from within the cluster of metal and darkness.
Cloud landed safely on the ground, holding Sora in his right arm. The boy returned to normal after being hit. "Sora, you alright?" The SOLDIER asked him as he gently let the boy sit down on the ground, Cloud knelt beside him.
"Y-yeah. Thanks, Cloud." Sora thanked him as he glanced at him. He saw that Cloud was bruised and blood was dripping from his forehead.
"Hmph. You and Deku sure are cut from the same cloth, risking yourselves without thinking." Cloud said to him with a calm yet stern expression. "But… That's exactly what makes you who you are, what makes you Heroes, right?" A soft smile was drawn on his face as he put a hand on the boy's shoulder.
Sora smiled at him. "You know it." He said to him. "And no way would we let our Heroes be crushed under a huge pile of junk, that's a way lame of go down." He added with a smirk.
"Heh. So you're finally admitting that you prefer me over Toshi?" Cloud joked.
"Weell… I put you in the same place as him." Sora played along.
"It'll have to do." Cloud replied as he stood up. "Mind giving a hand to one of your Heroes, Skyknight?" He extended his hand to him with a sincere smile.
"For sure, Omnimerc!" Sora grabbed his hand and was pushed up by the blond swordsman.
At the same time.
All Might and his successor landed back on the ground and a large chunk of concrete was over them before All Might pushed it off them. "Midoriya-shounen!" All Might knelt to check on his student, who lay on the ground. Vapor was coming off All Might's body again and blood was dripping from his forehead and mouth. "With that body, it's too risky!" He said to the boy with concern as he slowly got on all fours.
"But, a Hero must save those in trouble!" Izuku declared to his mentor with a wavering grin as he sat down.
All Might was briefly surprised by this reply before smiling at him and laughed merrily. "Thank you. It's true that I'm in trouble. Lend me a hand, Midoriya-shounen." All Might extended his hand to his successor.
"Yeah!" Deku took his mentor's hand before being helped up by him.
Both master and student glanced at the enemy forward.
"Need two extra pairs of hands?" Both turned around and saw Sora and Cloud approaching them.
Izuku and All Might smiled at this. "Of course, the more the merrier." All Might replied.
"Typical. You don't bring fists to solve an issue that swords can easily cut through." Cloud joked as both of them stood beside the One for All users. The four Heroes glanced forward with determination on their faces.
Izuku glanced at his Full Gauntlet before closing his fists as he activated his Full Cowling. "Ready, Sora?" He asked his best friend beside him.
Sora briefly crossed his arms as he formchaded into Second Form. "Always, Deku!" He replied with determination.
"Let's go!" Both teachers declared.
"Hai!" Their students replied before the four of them dashed forward at high speeds!
"Little worthless brats! You're nothing more than scum!" Wolfram was enraged as he formed many cubes of metallic debris. "You don't know when to give up!" He then shot the cubes at the Heroes as many orbs composed of Shadows were shot from the cluster!
"You're the one who doesn't know when to give up!" Katsuki shouted as he casted powerful blasts from both his hands.
Riku shot a massive barrage of dark flames at the same time. The combined effort destroyed the cubes and Heartless orbs!
The four Heroes dashed forward in the midst of the falling rubble.
Several metal pillars were shot at them. "I won't allow it!" Shouto created a massive ice wall to block them off!
As Sora and Deku dashed, Cloud and All Might jumped further ahead.
"Out of my way!" Wolfram roared as he shot many metal pillars across the battlefield, causing trembles and the floor to crack severely, making Momo, her group and Melissa fall down.
Melissa rolled down before stopping and looking up again.
All Might and Cloud dashed forward, missing metal pillars and Demon Tides coming at them from above. They destroyed another metal pillar before doing the same with a Demon Tide. They dashed forward as they took down Heartless off coming their way and dodging metal pillars crashing down around them. Both Heroes struck at a massive metal pillar, utterly destroying it!
Sora and Deku were dashing forward, the Keyblade Hero sliced through Heartless orbs coming at them as both young Heroes aboved impacts from metal pillars from above. Both of them darted at high speeds and using the momentum, Izuku destroyed a metal pillar with a powerful kick as Sora sliced in half a Demon Tide with a Hurricane Winder!
Melissa saw all of this in awe.
All Might and Cloud ran on top parallel pillars. Sora and Deku followed them, catching up with their teachers in no time!
A Massive Demon Tide came at the SOLDIER and Keyblade teen. The duo mowed it down with an insanely fast sword swing in a matter of seconds without stopping running!
At all of these feats of heroism, Melissa started to feel overwhelmed with emotion.
Furious, Wolfram raised his arms up, causing a lot of metal to go upwards.
"Ouch…" Ochako and Kyouka raised up from their harsh fall and looked up in surprise. "What's… that…?" Ochako questioned as both girls saw a lot of metal pieces along with a Demon Tide gathering up in the sky.
The four Heroes jumped high using debris as stepping stones.
"To overcome the pinch in front of you…!" All Might clenched tight his left fist, charging up his next Smash.
"...With everything you got…!" Deku clenched his right fist, charging up all his power into it.
"...And save people…"
"...With everything you've achieved…"
"...That's what makes…!"
"...A Hero!"
"Even if this is not our home…!" Cloud brought his Buster Sword behind himself as it glowed a bright blue.
"...We will protect this world and its people…!" Sora brought his Kingdom Key behind himself as it glowed golden.
"...No matter the darkness or evil that comes…"
"...We will always fight on for what's right…"
"...Because we are…!"
"...Heroes!"
Wolfram created a colossal metal cube that became infused with the Heartless. The rest of the teens gather back on the ground as they witness this.
"All crush all of you and this tower!" And so Wolfram threw down the titanic cube at the Heroes!
"Double Detroit…!"
"Double Sonic…!" The four Heroes flew at the cube, brilliant light came up from blades and fists respectively.
"...SMASH!"
"...BLADE!" And their team attacks collided against the cube with titanic strength!
Wolfram struggled to push back against this massive collective power!
The four Heroes roared as they put even more power in their combined attack! All Might's left sleeve was torn off. Deku's gauntlet was reaching its limit as his shirt came undone.
The cube started to crack and break. Wolfram increased his muscles even further, tearing his shirt open, in an attempt to push back. However he became overwhelmed!
The massive dark cube was utterly obliterated as the Heroes raised higher up into the sky, enveloped in bright light! A metal tendril tried to stop them, but it was torn apart!
David slowly recovered his consciousness and glanced to see what was happening. Melissa saw all of this in awe.
"Go…!" Ochako cheered.
"All Might! Omnimerc!" Momo and Kyouka cheered in unison.
"Sora! Midoriya!" Tenya, Eijiro and Minoru did the same.
"Finish him!" Riku, Shouto and Katsuki shouted in unison.
"Go…!" Deku charged up all of his One for All in his right fist, his gauntlet gleamed. Sora's aura flared and turned white as he twirled his Kingdom Key in his hand, which was embedded in bright golden light
"...Beyond!" All Might prepared for the final strike. Cloud's aura flared up and his Buster Sword was embedded in a bright blue light.
"PLUS… ULTRA!" The four Heroes cried in unison as they dived into the Villain for the final strike, surrounded in a brilliant white light!
A massive Demon Tide came at them as Wolfram wrapped himself in metal wraps to shield himself.
The Heroes went through the Heartless like nothing and struck directly at the metal cluster!
Sora and Deku roared. The Keyblade glowed brighter and the Gauntlet shattered! And there was a massive light explosion that utterly destroyed the cluster!
David flew off, free of his bindings, and then he saw it… Sora and Izuku airborne with that same pose, that same smile, the same light in their eyes… As All Might...
Metal rubble rained as what's left of the cluster collapsed.
"They did it…?" Tenya questioned.
"They did it… They finished the Villain!" Minoru cheered. The group started to cheer at the victory of the Heroes.
Riku, Shouto and Katsuki smiled, but when the first two glanced at the explosive teen he scoffed at the side. Riku chuckled as he and Shouto bumped fists.
And so the night was finally coming to a close as dawn was about to break.
Melissa rushed through the wreckage that was the roof of the tower in search of her friends, her uncle and father.
Hanging from a beam was the defeated Wolfram along with his two men that laid on the floor. His body became feeble and decrepit, the now broken device fell off his head.
Sora raised up from underneath the rubble followed by Deku. Sora's jacket was gone, his white shirt was dirty and heavily damaged and missing the right shoulder.
"Deku-kun! Sora-kun!" The boys turned to the side and saw Melissa coming quickly to them.
"Melissa-san." Izuku said as he and Sora smiled.
"I'm so glad…" The girl was washed up in relief to find her friends just fine, even if they looked heavily bruised.
David leaned on a piece of debris. "Dave." Cloud called him.
"Dave!" Toshinori called him.
Dave opened up his eyes. "All… Might… Omni...merc…" He saw his friends knelt in front of him with smiles on their faces. The former was slowly turned back to his normal form.
"We came to save you, Dave." All Might said to him.
"Thank you…" Dave thanked his friends.
"Dad!"
"All Might!"
"Cloud!" The men turned left and saw Melissa, Izuku and Sora calling out to them from afar on top of a pile of wreckage.
"If you want to thank someone, you should thank Melissa, Sora and Izuku. We wouldn't have made it without them." Cloud said to him with a calm smile.
The trio of teens looked down at the three men with huge joy and relief. "I'm glad… I really am…" Melissa said, overwhelmed with these feelings as she wiped away tears of joy. "Thank you. Thanks to all of you, we could save everyone." She thanked her friends wholeheartedly with a warm smile on her face.
Sora and Izuku turned to face her. "It wasn't just us. It was also thanks to you, Melissa." Sora smiled at her.
"He's right, Melissa-san." Deku agreed with him. The girl was surprised by these replies. "I was saved so many times by your Full Gauntlet…" The emerald teen glanced at his now bare right hand before clenching it into a fist and glancing back to her. "Thank you very much." He thanked her with a warm smile as Sora grinned at her as well.
"Deku-kun… Sora-kun…" Melissa smiled warmly at her friends.
"Oh, but… Sorry! I broke it…" It was now that it registered for Deku that he shattered the Gauntlet.
Melissa giggle. "Don't worry about it." She waved it off.
"Back to the drawing board, I guess." Sora smirked as he put his arms behind his head.
"Deku-kun!" The boy heard Ochako calling him from afar.
"Sora-kun!" The Keyblader heard Momo calling him from afar.
The trio turned around and found everyone else calling the three of them down below from where they were.
It was safe to assume that Ochako and Momo were washed by joy and relief to see the two boys just fine, it was more evident with the mature-looking girl though. The only ones who weren't smiling in joy were Kacchan, for obvious reasons as he glanced to the side with his hands pocketed, and Denki, who just now recovered his consciousness and has no idea of what happened while he was brain dead. (I feel sorry that he missed one of the most epic sequences in the story).
"Are you guys alright?" Tenya shouted at them in his usual fashion.
"We're fine!" Sora and Deku said at the same time as they waved at their friends.
"All Might, Omnimerc and the professor are also fine!" Deku informed them happily.
"Are you guys alright?" Melissa asked them with a smile.
"We're fine!"Ochako and Tenya replied at the same time.
The trio looked at each other with a smile.
"I heard most of what happened through Melissa." All Might finally returned to his small form, he applied a tourniquet on Dave using his jacket as Cloud was out of power at the time and unable to cast healing spells on him.
"You did all of this… for Toshi, right?" Cloud said to him with a calm expression, his eyes didn't reflect anger, disgust or disappointment in his friend.
David looked away from his friends. "I… was afraid that you would lose your light, Toshi… I was afraid that the peace that you built would be lost… And I didn't want this world to depend on powers that don't belong here…" He began to explain to his best friends. "But my ideas and that device weren't nothing more than a way to maintain the status quo." He continued as he glanced back at them. He tried to get up and All Might helped him up as Cloud stood up again. "And to think that the future, and hope, were right in front of me, but I didn't notice them…" He said as the three of them glanced at the trio of teenagers that were waving at their friends. "Now, Melissa is trying to become my successor, you have Izuku Midoriya… He is your successor, isn't he?" He said to his old friend as the three of them smiled.
"He's not ready yet." All Might declared.
"But that's why Sora came into this world, to make sure he's ready, to connect his heart with his and ignite the light within him just as he did with countless people, even those who were gone and those who were not meant to exist. And to think he started off as a normal kid from an island with a big heart that likes to explore and help others." Cloud declared with a soft smile and a glint of pride in his eyes. David and Toshinori smiled at this.
"Sora Nomura… I can see now how great of a Hero he truly is." David replied. "You both saw it in him, didn't you? The light in his heart." He added.
"Yes. By all means he's already an accomplished Hero and a Symbol of Peace from another world, who came into this world to help bring forth the next one that belongs to this world." All Might replied with a heartfelt smile.
"Heh. But even so, Sora's still a kid. He still has a long way to go." Cloud replied.
"He does, doesn't he? I think- no- I know that he's now on the same path as Midoriya-shounen. The path to become the greatest Heroes." All Might declared.
"And as long as they keep walking together and supporting each other, they'll make it. That's the beauty of the next generation, they can always be better than those before them and they will be better than us." Cloud continued.
"Looks like we're not the only ones with a successor." All Might commented.
"Nope, I think I found mine already, my living legacy…" Cloud was glancing at Sora's back. "I want to help in his path, I wish for him to be better than me, to surpass me and I'll be very proud when he does. If that helps him realize his dream of the best Hero he can be, even if it's just a little… I'll be satisfied, for that I did my job as his mentor. And isn't it our job as mentors to help our proteges succeed?" He glanced at his friend with a small, but warm expression.
It is." All Might put his hand on his shoulder with a proud smile. "In both of them lies the potential to shine like no other Hero before them, in this or any world." Both him and Cloud glanced at the youth that one day will surpass them, their successors.
"I can see it too. Toshi... Cloud... " David smiled as he glanced at the boys with them. "A light like yours… The light of Two Heroes." And so it dawned, the sun was rising on the horizon and the Successor Trio turned to watch the start of a new day with bright smiles.
The future Symbol of Peace and the Hero of Light glanced at each other before bumping their fists.
Peace was finally restored and I-Island was safe once more.
To celebrate, All Might organize a barbecue for all teens from Class A at the park, Cloud also was present. Many enjoyed a happy meal of skewers and other grilled food as those who participated in the whole incident shared their experiences with the others (Which includes Mina and Tooru asking for 'those' details to Momo, Ochako and Kyouka, much to their embarrassment, while Tsuyu just panned at them, telling them to leave them be.)
Meanwhile, David was under supervised recovery at I-Island's hospital.
Melissa came to visit him and David offered apologies to his beloved daughter, but she shook it off, she wasn't angry at him for she believed he had nothing to apologize for. David will always be her father and she will always love him, no matter what.
Back at the park.
Sora and Izuku walked away for a while from the barbecue, glancing at the Central Tower with thoughtful expressions.
"You both have something on your mind?" Both glanced back and saw All Might approaching them.
"All Might…" Izuku greeted them as his mentor stood at his left
Sora then felt a hand on his shoulder, he glanced to his right and saw Cloud there. "Cloud…" He greeted him.
"Are you worried about something?" Cloud guessed correctly.
Both boys glanced down. "What will happen now to Mr. Dave and Melissa?" Sora asked his mentor as he glanced back at him.
"..." Cloud remained silent briefly. "Dave must answer for what he caused, but he'll be alright. Melissa too." He replied calmly.
"The only thing we can do is support them through this period of their lives." All Might said to both shounens. Both boys glanced down with clear sadness. "Hey, don't feel sad, Shounens. It's not like you will never see them again." He cheered them with a tiny smile as he put a hand on his student's shoulder.
"You'll meet them again one day, I know you will." Cloud did the same with Sora. "You promised Melissa to show her our world after all." He added.
Sora perked up. "Yeah." He nodded with a smile.
"Still, I still feel a little bad. I mean, we knew what pushed the professor to do what he did so… I can't help but feel a little guilty about it." Izuku said as he glanced back forward.
"Don't, Midoriya-shounen." All Might said to him calmly, Izuku glanced back at his mentor. "In a sense, all this was my fault." He continued. "You were right, Cloud-kun. I should have told Dave the full truth, if I did none of this would have happened." He glanced at his friend with noticeable sadness in his eyes.
"You don't have to blame yourself, Toshi. We know well by now why the secret must be kept and none of us could have ever guessed that this would happen." Cloud shook his head at him with a calm expression. "There's no point in dwelling on what could have happened, we can only move forward, and as you said we can now only support Dave and Melissa during all of this, they're family for both of us after all." He added.
"Yes, you're right." All Might replied.
The mentors glanced at their students and they nodded at them with determined frowns before the four of them glanced forward at the Central Tower in the distance.
"Say, how 'bout if you two go back? You sure earned a day to relax along with your friends." All Might suggested to both boys.
"Sure, I could grab another bite." Sora replied with a smile.
"Me too." Izuku smiled as well. Both boys were feeling better now.
The boys walked back to the barbecue where the rest of their classmates were as Cloud and All Might watched them leave. "It's heartwarming to see that they can still enjoy peaceful days like this." Toshinori commented to his friend with a smile.
"Yeah. I hope they cherish them." Cloud agreed with a smile before it turned into a more serious expression. "But they won't be kids forever, one day it'll be their turn to uphold the peace, so they better enjoy times like these while they can." He said with a more reflexive tone.
"Yes." Toshinori agreed with him. "As their mentors, we must assure them that time for as long as we can, until it's time to pass on the torch." He added as both glanced to the blue sky, watching two eagles fly by.
In Tokyo City, Japan...
At the very tip of the iconic tower stood a figure, looking down on the city in the middle of the dark of night.
It was a man with long silver hair dressed in black, the most distinctive feature is that in his left hand he carries a long nodachi sword as if it weighs nothing to him… "This world is ideal… May it be the site of our final battle. I am waiting… Cloud." It was none other than the man known as Sephiroth who proclaimed this with a calm, yet sinister smile on his face. From his back, a single black angelic wing spread out before he took flight into the dark skies.
The One-Winged Angel shall wait for his sworn nemesis to come for him, for as long as it takes, for the light is never too far from darkness…

And here we are everyone, finally we reached the end of Season 2. I'm really proud and happy that I made it this far, thank all you so much that you came along with me and my friend Jim in this journey and there's still more to come! I'll take a brief break and in the meantime I'll be working on a small collab with my friend Big Diesel and his girlfriend so please look forward to that as well. When I return, be ready for the Season 3 as things turn even even more crazy and epic!
