Nadri sprawled out in the middle of the king-size bed, swamped by the red silk sheets that gathered around her, her bare, slender body covered with little goosebumps along her skin from the smooth sheets laying across the lower half of her back. Her butt was just about covered with the material. The mounds of curls that were twisted from Nadri's head covered her face and all over the pillows.

Killian watched as she slept soundly from the doorway of his cabin, leaning against the doorframe with his arms crossed over his chest. Nadri had slept in, not even stirring after Killian had left the bed to head down to the hairdressers in the middle of town. His beard was shaved short and his hair had been finally cut so it was short on the back and sides, combed back at the top handsomely. His eyes glanced down at his watch, seeing that it wasn't far off from the afternoon. He didn't want to wake her yet. He wanted her to dream and mumble in her sleep since it was the first night that she hadn't woken up in a cold sweat next to Killian.

They had gotten back late yesterday afternoon, the first thing they did was go to the doughnut shop where Nadri sat and ate half a dozen doughnuts by herself and then two cones of honeycomb ice cream – the brain freeze she received afterwards was definitely a shock and unpleasant even though it made Killian laugh. He brought her back to the ship, he made her an extravagant steak dinner with all the trimmings and even put on his best black shirt. Nadri complained that her meat was too cooked and Killian made a joke that it was short notice to retrieve a fresh cow from the farm. Taking her to bed was a different story…the woman's soothing, soft voice that matched her generous and warm personality turned into mewling and crying out for him as he enjoyed every lick of her.

He was hers. She was his.

He didn't think there was any possibility in loving her more than he did right now. Nadri was his truest love and he wanted to show her that every day.

"Killy?" Her voice murmured in the pillow tiredly, asking out for the pirate. Killian strolled forward, his black leather shoes against the deck as he went to the bed, kneeling to the edge to meet with her eyes that were flickering open gently. "You left." Nadri muttered again, her hand coming up to her face to push away her messy hair. "Oh, your face." Her hand went to Killian's face, feeling the long stubble on his cheek, smiling.

"You kept saying it needed to get cut." Killian's gorgeous grin made her smile, watching as the woman stretched out on the bed, pulling the sheets closer to her. "I thought I'd do it while you were you were asleep, love."

"You look venro…handsome…" Nadri glowed. "Does this mean you'll come back to bed for a cuddle?" Nadri gave him sweetly innocent puppy-dog eyes and Killian nodded, shrugging off his leather jacket and laying it over the armchair that was in the corner of the bedroom. He kicked off his shoes and came to the other side of the bed, laying on top of the sheets and outstretched his arm to allow Nadri to back up into him. She hummed, enjoying the feeling of Killian's strong arms wrapped around her small, fragile body.

"I had a dream about you, raaviir." Nadri admitted, her fingers tickling along the skin that on show from the cuff of Killian's shirt. Her eyes focused on the scarred remains of a heart-shaped tattoo that had tried to poorly remove.

"Did we go to the beach again?" Killian breathed in her ear, half smiling in her hair. He liked hearing about Nadri's dreams of the beach that he promised to take her to. Nadri shuffled, moving her body so that she was facing the pirate head on. Killian took a moment to appreciate every second of staring at her. She rested her head in her hand as she hazily gazed back at him, the sheet now only covering her breasts and front of her body, the rest was now bare. Killian looked over her hungrily, her well rounded butt on show for him to mentally picture for later. Killian reached forward to the dip of her waist, his fingertips stroking down to her hip where it finally rested, earning a shiver from Nadri.

"We're always at the beach in my dreams." Nadri lovingly admitted, still showing off her pearly whites with a cheeky smile. "Can we still go?"

"Of course, love. I gotta get the crew together but I'm sure they'll appreciate a vacation." Killian grinned, caressing her bare hip, still admiring his woman. His woman. They'd been back in this realm a few days, still the beginning of their relationship. He still had so much to learn about Nadri, well, he didn't even know when her birthday was. Did she even have one? Would he be able to celebrate it with her?

"Ruveyzun, what's wrong?" Nadri noticed his frown, looking worried.

"N-Nothing I just realised something." Killian's cheeks tinged pink, feeling sheepish just asking her. The sunlight streamed through the windows of the quarters, highlighting her patient face. "Do you…do you have a birthday?" He felt stupid as soon as the question left his lips. Was that even possible? He could already see the thoughtful expression across her face, instantly beginning to worry that he insulted the woman.

"I hatched on the 8th day of Last Seed." Nadri spoke, making Killian feel that he was stuck in the mud of an endless silence before she finally answered. "The last month before the leaves change. Did you think I emerged from a lake in the midst of the night? I did hatch from an egg, raaviir." She teased sarcastically and Killian exhaled with relief that he didn't insult her to her face but still felt embarrassment. "Why do you ask?"

"All these new things you're trying and doing, it made me realise that there is some things that I don't know, love."

"Then ask me, raaviir, I wouldn't have taken you one to be so quaint."

"Alright, alright, it was a stupid question." Killian chuckled, admitting fault before leaning forward to capture her smile into a kiss. "C'mon love, I promised you lunch didn't I?"

"Breakfast but I'll let it slide." Nadri winked.

"Well…I can always make it up to you, love." Killian's nose nudged hers, kissing her again. Nadri placed a hand on his cheek, deepening their kiss further. "Depends on how hungry you are." He mumbled against her lips, Nadri hungrily kissing back at him, her hand running up his neck and into his hair.

"For you? Always." Nadri purred, pulling the sheet with her as she got up and positioned herself in Killian's lap. He laid there, hand and hook on her hips as he admired the beautiful black curls that laid past her shoulders, a messy from fighting with the pillow all night. Killian caught the silk sheet in his hand, tugging with permission. Her fingers relaxed, letting Killian pull the sheet away from her body to admire her breathlessly.

He could get used to this.

Killian joined Nadri in the bathtub after they had finished. He lit the small tea-light candles and placed them around the bathroom in the cabin, sprucing up the room as he went. It was wide enough for both of them, the same depth that Nadri's knees and top half of her body would be completely covered. He rummaged through the boxes that were around the bathroom, looking for flowers to make water smell more pleasant than what it was. He found the petals from a whole bouquet of roses and drowned them into the bathtub, Nadri shortly knocking on the door in nothing but Killian's dark shirt with her big, innocent eyes and he took his time to undress her, leading her to get in with him.

Killian spent the time sitting behind Nadri, showering her with affection. He grabbed the loofah and the soap, covering her with bubbles as he scrubbed at her back. He lathered shampoo through her curls and the scent of blueberries sharply hit his nose as she hummed and mumbled into his hands messaging her head, the hot water full to the point that it was just below their shoulders. The steam rose around them, both preferring the feeling of tingling hot water against their skin. Killian would let Nadri relax back into him, eyes closed enjoying the moment that they could have without any interruptions from anyone.

They later got out, both dressed and back on the bed with a cheese board that Killian had put together while Nadri was attempting to towel dry her thick, luxurious locks opposed to being able to waving her hand and she would already be fit for battle. A variety of cheeses laid on the wooden slate accompanied by cured meats such as chorizo, prosciutto and salami. He made sure there were plenty grapes and pickles, baguette slices and bread sticks.

"When did you have time for this?!" Nadri squeaked, her eyes full of happiness when the food had been stuck in front of her. She grabbed a stalk of grapes, picking one off to pop into her mouth.

"Emma grabbed it all this morning when I got this off." Killian gestured to his face before grabbed a slice of cheddar. "It's not like home, it's missing all the 'orrible bits but it tastes just as good, love." Killian chewed away with a smile and Nadri had the biggest smile on her face since he had known her. It was home to her, maybe the meat was different but the rest of it was the same and he went out of his way for her. He seemed to unlock her true happiness, something that she had been deprived from for a very long time – food. She reached for piece of salami and took a bite out of it, almost wiggling into a little food dance as she ate it.

"By the Gods, I love you." Nadri grinned, purple eyes lighting up like a galaxy.

"Is that to the food or to me, love?" Killian snickered, continuing to eat.

"Both! This is so good!" She ecstatically chimed. "You've gone through so much ahkon. I haven't got anything to share with you, Killy."

"Sweetheart, I'm here with you. That's what I want." Killian reassured her with a loving smile, Nadri returning it. "I told you I was going to enjoy every moment with you. I know when we come back the others are probably going to start moving things forward."

"What do you mean?"

"Well, Emma and Snow want to take you shopping. Something about a girly day I don't know. David wants you to get settled with some sort of identification papers…" Killian trailed off as he could see Nadri visibly become a bit swayed. The reality was beginning to set in properly and she was still trying to mentally prepare herself for what was ahead down the road. "I guess the best part of it is you get to model your new clothes for me." Killian tried to make light of it for Nadri, a sly smirk on his face and Nadri couldn't help but break back into a smile, leaning forward and nudging Killian on the arm.

"Krosis, I'm…I'm ready." Nadri nodded, steading her self-assured boost. "Maybe…maybe running away isn't the right thing to do." Nadri admitted, popping another grape in her mouth and biting down, feeling the juice of the red grape explode in her mouth. Killian waited for her to go on, listening intently. "In the Underworld all I did was run. As soon as I am welcomed into your town I planned to run away with you again. Even coming back I will still be met with this 'real life' so why should I not just embrace it now?"

"I thought you wanted to find those beaches. You were on about it all last night, love."

"They'll be waiting for us, at least I hope they will be. I don't want to wander anymore, I just want to be in this place with you eating good haamid." Nadri held up the piece of creamy Swiss cheese that had been laid out for her and looked at it as if it was her true love instead.

God, she really liked her food.

"Would that be okay, Killy?" Nadri bit into it, covering her mouth as she talked. Killian snorted with a small laugh, watching her. He would give her the whole world if he could, anything she wanted would be just fine if it meant that she was healing.

"It'll always be okay." Killian's comforting smile made Nadri feel warmer, the sort of feeling that you get when you look at someone that you do not want to lose to anything in the world, that you were a part of them for life and there was no tearing you both apart.

He urged her to continue eating, watching as she slowly began to devour the cheese board that was in front of her. They continued chatting away about the plans that were going to happen over the next few days, Nadri asking if she would be able to take food with her when she went shopping so she wouldn't starve and it only made Killian fall into fits. They spent hours on end just talking, stuffing their faces, since they hadn't had such a good meal in so long especially Nadri, and Killian still teaching Nadri how to play cards.

It was peaceful and quiet, just what they wanted right now.

Hours passed, eating and drinking between them until they began to gradually get tipsy. Killian and Nadri had ended up dancing around the room, their card game left on the bed, wine buzzing through their systems in the late afternoon. They just enjoyed spending their day together, not once interrupted. Nadri was ready to bring herself into the fold that was the tight knit community of Storybrooke and involve herself in its citizens. But today, today was their day. It felt like how they knew it would - perfect. Something that had been missing from their lives for so long, after so much darkness and betrayal that occurred this is what they were rewarded with.

All that was heard were the seagulls outside flying around near the ship and the grandmaster clock that was ticking away in Killian's bedroom beyond Nadri's heavenly singing voice. They held each other closely as they slowly danced around the room, Nadri's arms around his neck, the pirate needing to lean over slightly so she could do so. She continued to sing a song of her old home, a bard's song that was heard throughout the land of Asari that had stemmed far from ancestors from the lands.

'Fire, fire dragon fire

Searing words of ancient ire

Wake, wake from the grave

Rise to set the world aflame

Night, night, endless night

Terror is the only light

Bane, bane rage untamed

Darkness dwells in age-old blame

Voth aan JOOR-ZAH-FRUL rein

Vokul fen mah, fen mah

Fin norok ved viing bonaar

Vokul fen mah...'

She continued to sing, her tone delicate and easy to listen to. Killian couldn't pull his eyes away from Nadri, he was glued to her face as she so effortlessly sung her song. He was stuck in wonderment, her voice so passionate and strong in every word she said.

He didn't understand Dovah tongue, Nadri still teaching him, but he could listen to her talk in her native tongue all day. He could listen to her sing until the end of eternity.

'Sul, sul fent alok

Nahkriin mahfaeraak nahlot

Qahnaar fin mey wo nis koraav

Vokunne qiilaan wah fin krein

Voth aan JOOR-ZAH-FRUL rein

Vokul fen mah, fen mah

Fin norok ved viing bonaar

Vokul fen mah

Vokul fen mah, fen mah

Norok ved viing bonaar

Vokul fen mah…'

She finished, opening her eyes to look up at Killian and she stopped moving. Killian brought his hand up to her chin and directed her mouth to his. He brought her into a passionate kiss, Nadri deepening it by opening her mouth to allow his tongue to dance with hers. She pulled away breathlessly, Nadri's cheeks were pink, clearing her throat.

"Your voice is so beautiful." He whispered against her, resting his forehead against hers and held her close. "You could lure sailors into the water with that voice, love."

"It is the first time I have used my voice like that, it is strange." Nadri retorted with a shy voice and unlinked her hands from behind Killian's neck and stepping away to grab the glass of wine that had been sitting on the dresser. She was only on her second one in the day, Killian was well into at least four or five now. "You are lucky to hear such a thing, raaviir."

"You don't have to tell me love, you're right here."

All they had been doing all day was showing each other how lucky they were. It was like there was no one else in the world apart from them, they didn't need anyone else. They could finally embrace their true love, no one was keeping them apart and no one was depriving them of their endless affection. It felt too good to be true. That's what Nadri worried about. That it was too good to be true, that she would wake up in Hades domain at any moment and this would have all been a torturous dream.

She prayed to the Gods that for just once, just once, that it would never happen.

For once in her life, Nadri was finally looking forward to her own happy ending, she wanted to finish her story.
