Hinata was concentrating in his work as he tries to find a solution to the equation that Yachi had taught him earlier. When he finally figured out the answer, his eyes widened at the number on the paper.

"I – I did it! I found the answer!" Hinata exclaimed as he circled the result of the number from the equation in his notebook.

Yachi smiled as she looks at Hinata with beaming pride, "That's great, Hinata! See, I knew you can get it soon if you practice more with your math work."

Hinata smiled sheepishly as he felt a little embarrassed by Yachi's remark. "Hehe I'm not that amazing but I guess I can do it after all if I practice more. Thanks, Yachi-chan! Oh – I'm going to try this question next."

Hinata went to dive his head to the notebook again. Yachi couldn't help but chuckle at this image.

Currently, Hinata was studying with Yachi in her classroom. When Yachi reminded him yesterday that finals were coming soon, Hinata instantly asked her for help with his studies.

Of course Yachi had to help him review the materials for the finals week. So far it was going along well and Hinata improved with his academic scores. Yachi was able to tell from the current progress that Hinata won't have to do any remedial if he keeps up his current pace with his studies.

Yachi smiled fondly towards Hinata, 'He surprises me in many ways. As expected of Hinata-kun.' Yachi thought with pride.

Hinata's eyes brightened again when he sees that he was able to solve the questions on his own. His mouth opens in agape and he giddily shows them to Yachi. "Look, I can do them on my own now. I guess algebra isn't so hard if you get used to it."

"That's great, Hinata! I'm sure you'll pass the finals with flying colors." Yachi replied as Hinata nodded along with her.

Hinata beams at his own work and closes his notebooks, "I can't believe I can do math. I used to think math was so hard and impossible. Studying with you is always a miracle. Perhaps, you've got special magical powers or something that can make me pass?"

Yachi chuckles at Hinata's imagination. His way of thinking is always so amusing. "I'm sorry to say but I don't have any magical powers, Hinata."

"Hehehe – you're right! Sometimes it looks like you do." Hinata mumbled at the last part with a smile.

The bell then rang off, signaling the end of lunch time. Hinata took his books and pushed back the chair he borrowed, "Thanks for helping me again, Yachi-san! See you at practice!"

"Hn. Until next time." Yachi waves farewell as Hinata skips out of Yachi's classroom.

Yachi turns to take out the materials and books for the next class. As she was about to take her math books away, she sees a piece of candy with a sticky note placed on the edge of her desk.

Thank you, Yachi-san! I'll treat you a proper meal next time! :3

- Little Giant

Yachi giggles softly at the note and kept it safely in her math notebook then she puts the piece of candy in her pocket.

"Hey, Yacchan~"

Yachi looked up to the side as she saw Hiyori wiggling her eyebrows with a smile full of tease. "You're spending a lot of time with that Hinata-kun. Perhaps…are you two dating?"

Yachi's laughs awkwardly in embarrassment. "It's nothing like that. We're just friends."

"Hmm~ but you two look really cute together. Like a perfect match! I won't be surprised if you two end up dating together sometime soon." Hiyori giggles off.

Lately, Yachi's classmates had been asking whether she was dating Hinata or Kageyama since both of the boys always spend their time with Yachi in their classroom so it brought some people's attention regarding the relationship between any of them.

But Yachi took this all with an awkward expression, explaining to them that they're all just friends and nothing more. Somehow, this reason does not make her seatmates convinced 100%.

"H-Hiyori-san…" Yachi sighed with discomfort at her seatmate's tease.

"Just joking, Yacchan. Hehehe, it's so fun to tease you."

Yachi shook her head with a sheepish smile. All of the thoughts regarding to what happened previously disappeared slowly once the teacher came in and Yachi focuses her mind into the lesson.

The days passes by and the school finally went through finals week. Yachi was relieved that she was able to help both Hinata and Kageyama with their studies in their own time that they manage to pass and receive their report cards with promising results. This marks the end of the school term and it is finally summer holiday.

While everyone else talks about their plans about their vacations excitedly, Yachi and the rest of her team members from the volleyball club practiced routinely during this time. As for sure, summer brings a different kind of atmosphere around school.

There were many times when the boys would pass out, groaning at the heat as they lay down on the floor with tiredness. As expected, the weather for summer was too hot. It was during this time that Yachi made sure that the team would progress with their practice efficiently by helping the members stay hydrated and cool during practice hours.

During one of the practice days, Yachi helped Takeda-sensei with Kiyoko in preparing the team for some onigiri and cool green tea as energizer. Yachi couldn't help but laugh when she sees the expressions of Tanaka, Nishinoya and Hinata mirrored each other as they howled in happiness when they saw the food brought over.

"Make sure to eat a lot, everyone!" Takeda-sensei said to them team as the boys started devouring the delicious onigiri prepared by the managers.

"Yes, sir!" The boys echoed in return as they eat the food vigorously.

Yachi pours more cups of cool green tea for everyone outside of the gym as they take their time enjoying their break time. It was still early in the afternoon so the temperature was really hot. Some of the members decided to cool themselves in the shades while others enjoy the summer breeze shirtless.

Yachi was now getting used to the boys walking around shirtless during practice hours so it didn't shock her as it did in the first time. So now she can only chuckle lightly whenever Tanaka took off his shirt and wing it around like a helicopter as he plays around with Hinata and Nishinoya.

Since everybody already took their part of the share, Kiyoko manage to grab some for Yachi and herself. Yachi thanked the third year manager for the offer and ate her onigiri in the shade as they watch the rest of the boys in calm manner.

Despite being such a hot day, Yachi finds herself relaxing into the mood. Sometimes she can't really believe that she had gotten so far to this point that she actually manages to become a member of a school club despite her timid self. Now, she was very thankful for the time when Kiyoko offered her the position in the beginning.

If it weren't for that opportunity, Yachi doubts that she'll find herself in a moment like this. New friends, new experiences, and a wholesome journey.

As she eats her final bites of onigiri, Yachi felt the buzz of her phone in her pocket. Checking it out to see if someone was contacting her, she blinks owlishly when the name came on the screen.

Kozume Kenma just sent you a text message.

This was unexpected, but Yachi did remember that they manage to exchange their contacts in the previous training camp. Perhaps Kenma wanted to ask her more about the commission from that time? She was a little nervous to see what he was messaging her about.

She opened her text and reads it.

From: Kozume Kenma

Hello Yachi-san, I hope you're doing well. Sorry for bothering you at this hour. I was wondering if we can discuss about the commission I requested last time. Are you busy?

Like her prediction, Kenma really did messaged her about the commission. It's not that huge of an issue so Yachi texts back to Kenma.

To: Kozume Kenma

Hello Kenma-san. I'm doing well. How are you?

I'm currently in the midst of a break time from volleyball practice but I have time afterwards.

I can help you with the commission request. What would you like me to do?

From: Kozume Kenma

I'm doing okay.

Sorry for troubling you at break time, thank you for the reply.

I'll send you the details of the request in a file. I hope that's okay with you. You can message me directly if you have any questions about the details.

Yachi finds herself texting back and forth with Kenma about the commission. It seems like he wanted some art for his profile and channel. Yachi did looked to his channel a little bit to see what he was showcasing currently. She was a bit surprised that he was really popular with his channel.

'A live streaming channel? I wonder what he does…oh so he posts himself playing games.' Yachi's mind wonders as she checks out his channel.

After a while, Yachi and Kenma texted each other as they talked about the commission. At some point in their conversation, Kenma suddenly asks her about how the team was doing and if she was faring well during practice.

To: Kozume Kenma

Everyone is trying to improve their skills. It's been quite a journey but they're getting better every time.

From: Kozume Kenma

Interesting. I'm kind of looking forward to playing with Karasuno again. What about Shoyo? He told me that he was 'trying to fortify his weapon'. I'm curious.

To: Kozume Kenma

Hinata-kun is improving drastically although I'm pretty sure that he's still working hard with his own personal skills. I was told that he also practices outside regular hours with Karasuno's old coach, Ukai-san.

From: Kozume Kenma

Ah, I've heard of Ukai-san from Nekomata-sensei. They used to be old rivals too during their days. Now, I'm really curious to what Shoyo is doing. He's always never boring when it comes to volleyball.

Yachi chuckles at his response. She agrees with what Kenma was saying about Hinata. The orange haired boy has always been surprising in so many ways that Yachi was also curious to what new thing he can come up with.

Yachi looked up and smiled as she sees Hinata talking vibrantly with the second year near the entrance of the gym. Yachi took a candid picture of Hinata from her side and sent it to Kenma.

A few seconds later Kenma replied.

From: Kozume Kenma

I guess that's the usual Shoyo in his natural habitat.

Yachi chuckles at his response. Replying back to Kenma as she talked about Hinata's funny antics during practice time from moments ago.

Unknown to Yachi, this would be start of their continuous messages with Kenma from then on.

Hello everyone!

I'm back from a long hiatus haha. I've been through some rough times especially with work. I had to take a break since I've been through some ordeals haha so I needed to rest haha. I've been reading so many of your comments and I'm so happy that everyone is enjoying this fic.

I hope I can post more this time despite my busy schedule. I feel like work has only gotten harder so I can't help but feel tired every time I get off work. It's kind of hard to manage the time since I'm getting busier but I'm really glad that I can slip in some time to write and post the new chapter. I had to rewrite the drafts and redo some scenes, it was a lot hahaha.

This time we finally have Kenma and Yachi texting :3 I seriously don't know how to make Kenma in character if he texts to Yachi but you know what, this is a fanfic and I just wrote what I can haha.
