When the two chained girls were able to understand what was happening, they began to warn Yunyun :

But they do not have all their time, and the person mastering the magic of water was Shouko, who had left with Yunyun. Aqua, explained that she is the goddess of water and that she can wield this magic but that she does not have enough strength currently and that this magic prevents all power. (magic was only used to control the opponent's powers, only the stones blocked Aqua and Megumin).Then, discouraged, they tried to find a new way.
From the side of Shouko and Yunyun, they were looking in all the rooms, and it is in a room not far from the room where Megumin and Aqua are and they went to save the crusader, which is ironic given that it is the crusader that is saving people.

When they joined the other four girls, they slumped Darkness on a couch. She was exhausted, and Aqua and Megumin, still a prisoner, saw their friend in this state between life and death. The goddess of water and the magician of explosions had mostly been physically touched during the sequestration, which is why their minds were not broken, unlike the blonde.

After an conversation of about an hour about past events, they now understood everything that was happening and why Kazuma and Eris had undertaken all this.

Kazuma turned to see his goddess in this state there, he was in pain. In pain because what he saw was his fault : what he saw as a disgust of Shouko, Meia and Lissafa towards him, but also the sobs of Eris. He wanted to do only one thing, fix these problems immediately.
He got up and walked towards Eris. He wrapped his arms around the waist of the goddess, and hugged her in order to alleviate the crying. He understood that it was his turn to console and protect Eris, after what she had done for him.
Eris saw what he was trying to do, and understood that his goal was to help him calm down. But this was the breaking point of the goddess, who had shown yet that she was much less sentimental during the period in which they had spent. Lissafa was one of the few people who mattered to her. She could not dry her tears as if it was nothing ', she was a bit like the big sister she never had.
It was then that the goddess turned in the direction of Kazuma and buried her head against his chest. She tried to dry her tears with her shirt, but nothing did, the drops fell again and again. Kazuma put his hand on Eris ' back and touched his hair with his other hand. He could not cope with this, and it frustrated him. He did not want to show this reaction because he wants to prove to himself that he can hold the bar, but because Eris also needs a person who comforts her, and not just the other way around.
It was then that they stayed like this for a few minutes, trying to comfort each other.
Lissafa and Meia were brought to Yunyun through Shouko, who left neither of them time to properly reflect on what their friend had done.
Once inside, Yunyun wondered why it had been so fast. Shouko replied that she was the one who cut the questions short, because she was finally seeing the truth and her response to what she said to Kazuma was very clear, not only was she going to remain their friend, but she was seeing something that no one was seeing. Even Kazuma did not see him himself, stubborn as he is.
Lissasfa and Meia were in misunderstanding, especially when Shouko asked his question. Shouko had an ability to understand the true motivations of people, this is a skill she had learned. And it was clear that Kazuma's eyes did not lie, he could say that he wanted revenge, but she knows for a fact that he now regrets, while the neet himself does not believe in this absurd ideas. Lissafa felt a little bad to have put them in this state, but she wanted to make them understand, but she knows that it was not enough. It required the final boost that would break their barrier called "revenge".
