Yellow Chapter 10
At the Seafoam Islands, Ash and Alice are contacting with Mr. Goodshow and Delia, Mr. Goodshow says, "So you have managed to gather all the Elite 4 medals, which means you are now the new Champion of the Kanto and Johto Region."
"I know. But the problem is that we need to stop the current Elite 4 from destroying humanity for their justified means of protecting Pokemon." Ash says, "We may have defeated them for once, but who knows they will strike again."
Delia says, "I know what you are concerned about, but you have to be careful, especially since you have Yellow by your side."
"I know Mom. Right now we are going to find Blaine so we can learn more about Red, so I'll call you later." Ash says as he ends the call.
After saving a Farfetch'd, the group noticed how the forest is moving, and the forest is actually made of Exeggutors and Oddish. Believing that it is a strange phenomenon, they decide to contact Professor Oak.
"It takes a catastrophe like this to get you to contact me?!" Professor Oak yells at them, but Ash quickly tells him what the problem is.
"But I was told our transmissions might be intercepted...doesn't matter. So a mass migration of Exeggutor and Oddish you say? Which would explain why the Farfetch'd kept getting lost...but it doesn't explain why the migration in the first place!? It's not the breeding season...maybe..."
"Maybe what?" Alice asks, and Professor Oak says, "Some wild Pokemon are very sensitive to the approach of natural disasters...earthquakes...tornados...or even...an unnatural even of comparable power!"
Ash says, "Which means that Lance is about to make his move again..."
While they are contacting Professor Oak, in Cerise Island, Agatha says, "Even you lost the Dragon Medal to that boy...that means he has gathered four medals already."
Lorelei says, "It will be bad since he has become the Champion, and he will have the power of both Kanto and Johto to get rid of us."
Lance says, "Let them come, but just as they know, their lives will be ending on the day they step into this island and facing us."
Back in Professor Oak's Lab, Blue's sister, Daisy Oak, is helping out with the work. Daisy says, "So Ash has won all the medals from the Elite 4, does that mean he is now the Champion of both Kanto and Johto?"
Professor Oak says, "He officially is, but he has to become justified by defeating the Elite 4 along with his brother Yellow. Or else it will only be rouble for them."
Daisy nods and then she asks about Yellow, she also says how interesting she is, and Professor Oak says that he believes in her, Ash and Alcie as well.
"We're finally here, the Cinnabar Island." Ash says. Yellow notices the huge volcano and she asks, "It's magnificent, do you suppose it is active?"
"No, that volcano has been dormant for decades." Alice says, "We are here to find Blaine, and this is where his gym and his research lab are."
Just then, they notice a Junior Trainer trying to find some stones, Ash asks, "What are you doing?"
"Hm? Oh, you must be visitors. A friend of mine asked me to help him train for a Pokemon battle." The Junior Trainer says.
He then shows them a bridge where he and his friend, who is revealed to be an old, bald man, do the training. The man says, "Okay, give me your best!"
"You asked for it!" The trainer sends out a Haunter, who starts throwing stones at outstanding speeds. However, a strange shape appears, and the stones are deflected. Ash says, "Mewtwo..."
Then, the boy calls on his Arcanine, telling it to use Ember after he throws the stones. Yellow says, "There are so many balls of fire. He can't move sideways on that narrow bridge...and if he loses his balance, he's finished."
"Don't worry, he will be safe." Ash says as they notice a mysterious force deflects the stones.
"What's he using to hit them back? Looks like...like a huge spoon of some kind...but it's too far away to tell." Yellow thinks, and the man recalls his Mewtwo.
"Thanks. Here's a little something as my thanks for today. I'll be counting on you again." The man says as he gives the boy some money.
"Hello, Blaine. It is good to see you and Mewtwo in a good shape." Ash says as he greets the man."
"Oh, Ash, Alice, and Yellow. Never thought I would see you here, do you want to come with me to my lab?" Blaine asks.
"Of course." Alice says, but Yellow is still confused about how Ash and Alice know this man.
The lab is revealed to be in the center of the volcano, and also that it is a back door to the Cinnabar Gym. He then puts on his glasses and a fake mustache, removes his hair, and Yellow says, "Wait, you are Blaine? Why are you wearing a disguise?"
"I never know who might be watching me. Plus, I burnt my real mustache during a flame-training accident." Blaine says as the three of them anime falls.
Blaine turns on the computer and says, "Your timing is perfect. I just happen to have received a message from Brock. But since we may be bugged, we have to keep it short."
As they turn on the message, they hear Brock says, "Blaine! Around the far side of Mt. Moon... I've seen Red!" This causes them to get surprised.
"Is he alright?" Ash asks, and Brock says, "Frankly, I don't know. You see...he was here...but he isn't now..."
"What do you mean?" Alice asks. "What happened to him?"
"Well, I was exploring the area behind Mt. Moon, when..." Brock says as he tells them how he finds a sculpture of ice that is shaped like Red. Yellow tries to call out to Red, but Blaine tells her to calm down.
"That ice, it is not Red, right?" Alice asks.
"It's just a lump of ice...cast in the shape of our missing friend. It's hollow inside...the backside's ripped open like a used cocoon."
"Do you think that Red escaped from the ice cocoon...after being frozen by an ice attack?" Yellow asks.
"That might be possible. Two years ago, Red was encased in Ice during the Sylph company battle. And it is from Articuno as well." Alice says.
"But there is Blue's Charizard, and if Blue isn't there, there is no way to escape an attack like that on one's own! So there was someone helping...but who and why?" Blaine says.
Just then, someone starts to hack into the signal, Blaine starts panicking that they could have been heard, but it turns out to be Misty.
"Misty? What's wrong?" Blaine asks.
"Blaine! There is trouble! Pewter City is being attacked by an army of Pokemon!" Misty says. "And it is not just Pewter either! Cerulean and Celadon...my city and Erike's are..."
Just then, the message got cut off, and Ash yells, "Brock, did you hear that? Get off that mountain now!"
"Count on it! Pewter is my city!" Brock says as he ends the call. Ash also calls his mother, who sends them videos of the attack.
In Pewter City, an army of Machop is tearing up the town, destroying everything and anything in sight, whereas, in Cerulean City, Misty is dealing with an army of Gengar. After a futile attempt by her Staryu to fend them off she gets cornered by some, who start to terrorize her. To make matters worse, in Celadon City, Erika is told that an army of ice has taken over three-quarters of the city. Erika tells everyone to do their best to not harm, but tranquilize the enemies. Using her bow and arrow and Vileplume, she starts fending off the invasion of Shellder and Cloyster.
"Fighting Type...Ghost Type and Ice Type...they are the type of the Elite 4! This means that the Elite 4 has launched their attack at last!" Alice says.
"Which could be a disaster...or the perfect opportunity!" Blaine says.
"Why do you think so?" Yellow asks.
"Through my investigations, I've pinpointed the location of the Elite 4 headquarters...which is there." Blaine takes out a map and points at an island.
Ash says, "Cerise Island...I remembered there is one time Aunt Sabrina has taken us there once...that is before we knew that both she and her husband are a part of Team Rocket..."
"We can go behind their backs and attack the island. With the four of us." Blaine says as they nod. "We are in." The there of them says in unison.
As they're about to set off, Blaine collapses, Alice asks, "Are you okay?"
"It's nothing...I'm giving you the map. Will you head out before me?" Blaine asks.
"What?" They are shocked and Blaine says, "It would be more to our advantage to follow different routes. You'll hit the land on the opposite of the island. I'll make some preparations and follow you, understand?"
"Of course." Yellow says as they head outside, then they decide to call their mother, Delia comes with the helicopter as they are now trying to head to the island.
Delia asks, "So you said that Red escaped from the Mt. Moon? Which is why Brock can only find the ice?"
"That's right. But we don't know who saved him, and why does he do that? Mom, did you know someone would have been the one that saved him?"
"I am not sure...unless..." Delia starts to ponder, but just when she thinks of a man with the R on his shirt, and that smirk of his, she flinches and shakes her head, "It can't be him...or can it?"
"Mom? Are you okay?" Yellow asks, and Delia says, "I am fine, I was just stressed."
"Is that so?" Ash is worried for his mother, but he is more worried about the Elite 4 trying to destroy the world.
Blaine arrives before them, and he notices Blue swimming towards them. Blue says, "So you know about this island as well?"
Blaine says, "Ash, Alice, and Yellow should also be arriving on the island soon. We're meeting on the west side, at the stalactite caves along the shore."
He turns to Blue and says, "This is great, with Misty and the others pinned down in their own cities, I thought that I'd have to fight this battle with just those three..."
Just then, Blue shushes them up as Blue says, "Someone's there..."
"Don't tell me that it was an ambush..." Blaine says. "Well, we were going to fight sooner or later. Look out! Elite 4!"
"Elite 4? Please, Blaine, don't insult us." The voice says. As they are coming out, it turns out the shadows sending out an Electabuzz, Muk, and an Alakazam. Blaine says, "It can't be..."
"Hahaha, oh, yes, it can." Just then, Lt. Surge comes out from the hiding and is followed by Koga and then Sabrina.
"Team Rocket?" Blue and Blaine are surprised to see the Elite trio in front of them.
Here is a new chapter, and this marks the half of the Yellow Arc. Starting from the next chapter, the war is going to begin. Team Rocket is also in the same location as the Elite 4, are they going to help Ash and the others? Or are they going to get in their way just like the Elite 4? And what about Red? Where is he and who saved him? I hope you like this chapter.
