Chapter 30
After cleaning the Bad Aura inside of Minami, Ash has been resting for a day with Alice by his side this whole time. Once Ash wakes up, he decides to give Minami the Pokemon, Xerneas, Diancie, and all the Tapus. Minami thanks Ash for the Pokemon and promises that she will take good care of it.
With Mark providing the stay at the FS Resort, Ash decides to challenge the Hoenn League instead of the Sinnoh League. The reason is that he wants to hear Wallace's reasons and also try to forgive him for Reisa and East's request. In the finals of the League, Wallace is defeated by Ash and he sighs, "Congratulations, Red. You defeated me."
After Ash and Wallace shake their hands, he is taken to the hall of fame, and then after President Goodshow leaves, Ash says, "Wallace, do you have a moment? I have something to tell you in private."
Wallace sighs and says, "I guess it shouldn't be helped." Then they go to the dressing room since nobody is there, he asks, "What is it that you want to talk about."
Red says, "The International Police has been investigating about the truth of Ash Ketchum, I want to ask if you remember what you said back then?"
Wallace flinches and he says, "At first, I don't remember about it, but after I managed to see the news after hearing his disappearance and Delia's request. I learned that I said that it is a mistake to make him enter the Wallace Cup."
Ash nods and Wallace continues, "At first I can't believe that I said that since he is Red and Delia's son. Red is famous for his beautiful contest moves, and Delia is also the same. So Ash must have inherited from them as well. It is not a mistake, in fact, it should be a great opportunity to let him enter."
Ash looks at his heart and learns that he is telling the truth. He says, "I see. In fact, if you don't tell anyone for Ash's request, I will tell you where he is hiding."
This causes surprise to him. "You know where he is?" Wallace asks.
Ash nods and says, "I do, in fact, both of your children know where he is as well. They also promise to keep a secret for Ash as well. But if you tell them that I permit to tell you, then they will tell you where he is."
Wallace nods and then Ash leaves the place. Wallace is pondering, he at first wants to tell the league about this, but then he decides against it, he doesn't want to let Ash angry again, sadly, he goes back home.
Once he is back home, Reisa and East are having a battle in the garden. Reisa notices that Wallace is back, then she says, "Dad. You're back."
East says with a frown, "Yeah, we are sorry that you lost..."
"It is fine." Wallace says, not wanting his children to be worried. "But I have some questions to ask you, is it true that you know where Ash Ketchum is?"
Reisa and East flinch as they didn't expect that their father knew their connections with Ash. They think that they should tell him the truth as East asks, "Who told you that? We promise Ash that we can't disclose his location."
Wallace says, "After my battle against Red, he approached me and he said that if I ask you two, you would tell me where Ash is."
Reisa and East sigh in relief as it is Ash himself that wants them to tell their father about everything. Reisa says, "Dad, we can bring you to him. But you have to promise us that you won't tell anyone, especially members of the PLA. It is because of them that Ash refuses to stay in plain sight. If they know about the truth, let's say that hell is a good place for Ash to stay. And we won't be able to be friends with Ash anymore."
Wallace is surprised to learn how broken Ash is, and he says, "I promise you two. I will keep Ash's whereabouts a secret."
East smiles and says, "Then please follow us, Dad."
Wallace is confused as he follows Reisa and East to the ocean, and he is surprised to see that Reisa sends out a Kyogre, who was said to sleep in the cave of Origin. "You have a Kyogre? Where did you get that Pokemon?"
"Ash and Arceus gave it to me." Reisa says. "They trust me enough to take care of them. Dad, come on and we will take you there."
East also sends out Lugia, who uses the fog to cover their actions so that they won't be found out. Eventually, they reach the FS Resort on Dewford Island.
"I remember this resort was rebuilt after exposing the owners to abuse their son...but are you telling me that Ash is actually inside this resort?" Wallace asks.
"You're right, Dad. Ash is actually the one that exposes the owners so that the son will be safe." East says as they enter the resort. Wallace is surprised to see a boy standing in front of the counter and he looks just like Ash. But in truth, the boy is Mark and the reason they look like each other is because of the Aura. Mark says, "Reisa, East, hello to you all. I see you also bring your father here."
Before Wallace can ask anything, Reisa says, "Hello to you as well, Mark. Do you know where Ash is?"
Wallace frowns a little as the boy is not Ash, but his frown turns into a look of confusion as Mark says, "Oh, you mean Brother? He is with Alice at the performance hall, since they are testing the stage for the night's performance."
"Wait, you are Ash's brother? I never thought that Delia would have another son ever since Red was gone..." Wallce says.
"It is thanks to my new Mom and my new Brother. You probably heard of the former owners, they were my birth parents. With their arrest, I was being adopted into the Ketchum Family."
Wallace nods, but then he realizes something, "Wait, does that mean Delia has already found Ash and even earned his forgiveness?"
Reisa says, "Two years ago, she manages to find out where he lives and she has tried everything to make a family back together." Reisa says. "And she is also at the Performance Hall along with Ash and his girlfriend. It will be better if we go there as well."
Once they enter the hall, they see that Ash and Alice are setting the stage with Minami, Delia, and Valerie watching, until Reisa and East come in with Wallace.
"Wallace?" Delia asks in surprise as to why he is here. Wallace smiles at the woman in front of him and says, "Hello, Delia. Is it true that you found Ash?"
Delia nods and Ash walks towards him. "I see you finally found me, huh?" Wallace turns around and he is surprised to see Ash in front of him.
"Ash..." Wallace can only mutter as he is too shocked to say anything. Ash says with a cold tone, "Wallace, if it wasn't for Reisa and East, I will still not trust you."
"But-" Wallace is cut off by Ash. "No buts. You said that you were controlled, but that Dark Aura intensifies the darkness in your heart. Now I want the answer to it, why did you say that?"
Wallace knows what Ash is talking about since Red has given him a preview of it. Wallace says, "It is true that I suggest you partake in the Wallace Cup, but I was expecting to see you in the finals with Dawn. I am really sorry that Team Rocket used me to tell what my darkness, but I swear I didn't mean to harm you."
Ash looks at Alice, then Reisa, the two girls nod to him as Ash says, "Honest and determined. I am sorry that I didn't win in the finals. But what matters to me is always Pokemon, not win or lose. And I don't want to tear your family apart, then I will be the same as Team Rocket, so I will forgive you."
Wallace is surprised and he thanks Ash for a chance for redemption. Ash accepts his apology and he turns to Reisa, "So Reisa, have you bring the flute?"
Reisa opens the bag and takes out the flute, she blows a little and says, "Here it is. I have practiced a lot, and I am ready to perform it."
"Perform?" Wallace is confused. But then Reisa takes out the blue mask and puts it on, she faces her own father and says, "Surprised? Dad?"
Wallace recognizes the mask as the same one that the Colors band are wearing, this only means one thing and Wallace can only ask in surprise, "You are Rainbow? One of the musicians and the composer of the Colors Band?"
"Yes. I am, Dad. I am sorry to hide this fact from you. In fact, I was invited by Ash to join in the band, since I like music and performing." Reisa says while taking off the mask.
Alice says, "Even though she isn't the main vocalist, but her talents in instruments are doing a good job."
"I see, I always wonder why you were playing the songs from the Colors Band every time you come back home." Wallace says. "In fact, I am very proud of you to go on your dream."
"Thanks, Dad. And also, I actually have 6 Ribbon Cups as well. I only need the Hoenn one to complete every Grand Festival."
Wallace is surprised and he says, "That is great, but how did you do it? Since six years ago I heard you lost the Contest and I didn't hear you say about it."
"Ash has been a teacher to me, in fact, he also taught me a lot of moves that his father liked to use." Reisa says.
"Red's moves?" Wallace asks Delia, who nods back. "Yes. Ash manages to learn all of them and put them into good use, like Jude, he uses the moves to win every Grand Festival."

"Of course, you are welcomed to see it." Ash says as they start to take out their instruments and putting their masks on. Then they start to sing a song with Alice being the one that sings.

After it is done, the ones who are watching the rehearsal are smiling and they give out applaud. Ash and Alice smile as they know that their live is not going to be a problem if they enjoy it.
Here is a new chapter, and this time I let Wallace know the truth early, since this story is between normal and darker version, so I will balance them out in that book.
