A sea of red caps flew through the sky as the seniors graduated from East High. As soon as they were allowed, Gabriella went over to her parents and hugged them both. Maria placed a kiss on her daughter's temple. "We're so proud of you Mija."

"Thanks Mom."

Greg interjected. "We're taking you out to celebrate tonight, we can go wherever you want." He saw the question in her eyes and rolled his own. "Yes Mija, Troy and Charlotte can come too."

She grinned. "Thanks Dad."

Their conversation was interrupted as Gabriella felt arms around her waist and she was lifted in the air, Troy spinning her around before setting her on her feet. "Congratulations Brie."

She smiled and hugged him, whispering. "Congratulations Baby, I'm so proud of you." She pulled back. "Your speech was amazing." She giggled at the blush that stained his cheeks before turning her attention back to her parents. "I think we have some cohort stuff that we're supposed to do now, but we'll see you at home?" They both nodded. "Ok, well we'll see you when we get back."

Her parents responded. "Bye Mija, bye Troy."

When it was just them, Gabriella wrapped her arms around her boyfriend's neck and noticed the saddened expression on his face. "What's wrong?"

He shrugged slightly. "I just wish Charlie was here, it doesn't feel right without her."

"We can go see her after we do what we need to." She thread her fingers through his hair. "We can even take her home early so we can spend the day together, maybe it'll help make up for the fact that she couldn't come to the ceremony."

"I'd like that." He pecked her lips. "Thanks Brie."

She smiled before they were approached by the basketball team, Chad speaking. "Well this is it, our last day as a Wildcat. I'm gonna miss playing ball with you guys and hanging in the cafeteria." The team hummed their approval. "Are you guys coming to the grad party?"

Troy responded on their behalf. "Nah, we're gonna get Charlotte and have a quiet celebration but we'll have to catch up before college starts."

The team all agreed before they went their separate ways, leaving Chad, Troy and Gabriella, the former speaking. "Thanks for dealing with us lunkheads Gabriella, I know we're probably not your ideal company but it was cool to have you with us."

"Thanks for letting me join in with you guys."

"Well I should probably get going but we'll definitely organise something." He high-fived Troy and hugged Gabriella, who whispered something in his ear. "Yeah sure, I'll head there now then. Thanks Gabriella."

As the boy walked away, Troy looked at her quizically. "What did you say?"

"You'll see." They watched as Chad walked over to Nora, giving her a one-armed hug, only for the girl to pull him into a proper hug, wrapping her arms around his shoulders. "It's our last day together as seniors, we may as well fix as many of the relationships here as we can before it's all gone."

He placed a kiss on her forehead. "You really are an angel Brie."

She shrugged slightly. "How about we go to the daycare, I have to say goodbye to the kids and we need to get your little girl." She watched him grin. "Can I ask you something first though?"

"Of course Baby, anything."

"I've been thinking about this a lot and please hear me out first... I want to adopt Charlotte. I know we've only been together for this year and it's really soon and I'm not at all asking to do this right away but I want her to know that I'm serious about being a mom to her, I want you to know that I'm committed to both of you. So would you consider it? Letting me legally adopt her after college to be able to say that I'm her mom."

He pulled her into his arms. "I don't think there's anything that would mean more to Charlie than that. If that's something you feel comfortable doing after you graduate college, I'd be honoured for you to adopt her." He leant their foreheads. "You have done so much Brie, and you've stood by us through everything. We love you so much."

"I love you too Troy."

With that, they walked down hand in hand to Charlotte's classroom. As soon as they entered, all the kids swarmed Gabriella, hugging her. Charlotte choosing to go to her father instead. "Good job Daddy." She said knowing that they had graduated.

He kissed her cheek. "Thank you Angel. Mommy and I came to pick you up so we can spend the day together, does that sound like fun?" Charlotte nodded. "Alright, I'm gonna go tell your teacher, you wait here with Mommy."

Gabriella spoke to the kids in front of her. "I've just come down to say goodbye to you kids because I just graduated."

Riley spoke up. "Does that mean you're not coming in the afternoons."

"I'm afraid not Riley, but I'll still see you guys sometimes just not everyday." They all hugged her and went back to their seats so they could continue their lesson, the last being Addison. Gabriella hugged the little girl. "I'll miss you Addy but Troy and I will talk to your mom and dad about setting up a playdate for you and Charlotte ok?"

Addison nodded. "Thank you Miss Gabi, I'll miss you and playing with you after school."

"I'll see you soon Addy."

With a final hug, the girl went back to her seat and Gabriella lifted Charlotte into her arms, kissing her temple. "Sorry Baby Girl, have you had fun today?"

Charlotte nodded. "Good job Mommy."

"Thank you Charlie." Troy came back to them at that moment. "Ok what should we do?"

Troy responded. "How about we have a movie day at home?" Gabriella nodded. "What do you think Angel?"

"Yes please Daddy."

They spent the rest of the day watching movies before they were going out to dinner with Gabriella's parents. When Troy put Charlotte down for a nap, he went back down to Gabriella, sitting beside her and pulling her into his arms. "We finally did it Baby."

She smiled. "Yeah we did, everything's changing so fast."

"It is, but we'll be ok. We'll make it through."

"Yeah I think we will, I love you Wildcat."

"I love you too Brie and I know we will, everything's gonna be fine as long as i have my girls."
