*Feburary 1st; 13 days to Valentines Day

"Hello. Hello? Earth to Eevee. Eevee. Hey! Hey Eevee! EEVEE!"

"Huh?!"

I snapped out of my trance as Evelyn screamed to catch my attention.

"Have you been listening to a word I said?! I said I'm worried Fennekin and Ryu are getting too close to each other. Haven't you noticed them?!"

"Where are they?"

Evelyn pointed and I turned in the direction of the courtyard. I spotted Ryu and Fennekin laughing underneath a tree together.

"Look at them! They're obviously flirting! She's going to steal him right from under me at this rate! What do I do Eevee?!"

"I don't know."

"That's not what you're suppossed to say. Urgh!"

Evelyn said as she face slammed on the lunch table.

"Umm Evelyn?"

She gave no response except a tired groan. I just sighed and looked across the courtyard again.

Maybe I should talk to Ryu about this.

I waited until Fennekin left before I walked up to Ryu. He looked up at my approach and I put my paws on my hips.

"Ryu what are you doing?"

"What's wrong? You're aura keeps giving off irritation. And I feel like it's being directed at me."

"Are you flirting with two pokemon at the same time?"

"What?! No! No! No! Just one! Why would I flirt with two?"

"Ryu..."

"Alright fine I am."

"You're doing it on purpose two. You know you're going to hurt somebody's feelings if you keep this up."

"No I'm just figuring things out. Look I'll come back to the table and-"

"What?"

We both turned to see Fennkin approach with lunches in her arms.

"But Ryu honey, I thought we were going up to the roof together."

"Oh I'm sorry I nearly forgot. I uh-"

"Well then let's go."

Fennkin said as she pulled Ryu up and dragged him away.

He looked back with an apologetic look as he walked away with her.

*After school

I was leaving campus when I saw Fennekin walking with Ryu holding his paw through the trees as if she didn't want to be spotted.

Curious I followed after them quietly.

They walked a bit before she stopped at the fountain and turned to him. I quickly hid before they spotted me but couldn't hear a word they were saying.

Didn't have to wonder long because as soon as it happenned, Fennekin stood on the fountain, leaned forward and kissed Ryu.

I stood behind the tree in complete shock.

Ryu you idiot. Poor Evelyn's going to be heartbroken.

I sighed in dispointment and left feeling too stunned to do anything else.
