Sneak Peek for Book 2
Sullivan skipped to Ryūko's room with Opera in a tow. But why not Ryūko's room first, since she's the elder sibling? Well, by the minute Ryūko wakes up, she usually does her preparations immediately, so Sullivan and Opera can't really greet her while she's doing so.
"Berobuppigga zabagerrogero." Sounded Sullivan before he opened the door to greet his grandson, "Good morning, my precious, loving grandson!"
"Good morning, Iruma, sir." Greeted Opera.
"It's time for breakfast! What a beautiful day out there!" Said Sullivan cheerfully, "Do you and Ryūko want to go for a walk?"
Iruma Suzuki: "Shut it."
Lord Sullivan: "Huh? Shock..."
Iruma seemed to have awakened from his sleep, but there's something unusual about him today. He slowly raised his upper body and said: "Did I stutter? You're so damn loud, you old geezer. Shut it."
Sullivan was shocked and Opera nearly dropped the tray he was holding with Ryūko and Iruma's drinks on it. Somehow, Iruma became a completely different person. His eyes were sharp, his voice deepened, an intimidating aura surrounded him and his spiky hair seemed to be brushed downward instead out outward. Personality-wise, the way he speaks wasn't as well-mannered as before.
He got up from his bed and walked past Sullivan and Opera.
"You two might as well check on my sister, too." Said Iruma.
"O-Oh right! I hope Ryūko is okay!" Said Sullivan, still under a state of shock.
The two hurried to Ryūko's room and the doors immediately slid open.
"Miss Ryūko!" Addressed Opera.
"R-Ryūko! Something unpredictable just happened to your brother!" Panicked Sullivan.
"Oh, what seems to have occurred, Chair-Demon?" Questioned Ryūko while she was fixing her uniform, "And... How dare you?! Barging into my room when there is a woman changing her clothes. What perverse actions we have seen in one's affair. Hast thou heard not of licking* forth the egress?"
(*Licking forth the egress: Ryūko does not literally mean to lick on the egress (door), but lick is an informal synonym of knock. So she basically means to say knock on the door.)
This time, Opera dropped the tray together with the cups. Ryūko seems to have changed as well, perhaps more than Iruma. She was always the ruthless, cold-blooded, serious and scary, yet kind-hearted and soft-sided. But now, her former actress side kicked into her system and her coldness seemed to have dominated her kindness. She even fixed her appeal in a different way; her red and blue eyes were once again sharp and slanted, the right side of her cape is down with the left side hanging on her shoulder and she fixed the left side of her forelocks and bangs to the side of her head. She really... looked like someone familiar. Not to mention, her voice has some colder, yet charming accents flooded her usual tone. If Sullivan had to describe her, she seemed to be a dark and evil fantasy prince from a nightmare.
Ryūko stepped forward and looked at the puddle on her carpet and shards of the ceramic cups around the puddle. She narrowed her eyes at Opera and said: "Tsk, tsk. Has the loyal and devoted familiar of mine lost himself in somewhat? What I should see of you next time is to not be so gauche or disgraceful with anything. Understood?" Asked Ryūko with a ferocious stare.
Opera staggered and needed to lean onto the door frame for support, close to kneeling onto the floor. His cat ear dropped as his mistress walked over to him and slammed her right hand over his head with a sadistic and evil smirk.
"As for that, I'm sure you know what I'm going to do with you after academy." Smirked Ryūko with a sadistic blissful crossing her face, "For what you did, there's no doubt that you need a little punishment~."
'What... What has happened to my mistress...?' Thought Opera.
Not only did Ryūko's coldness take her kindness over, but she seems to have become somewhat perverted.
She backed away from her familiar with her arms crossed and told Opera that he'd better be prepared for the upcoming punishment Ryūko was going to give him soon.
Iruma popped out next to the three and smirked: "Morning, Sister."
"Ah, 'tis indeed. Good morrow, dear Brother." Greeted Ryūko with a bow, "Hast thou slept well?"
"Yeah, until the old geezer decided to wake me up so loudly." Condemned Iruma.
"S-Sister?! W-What happened to "Sis"?!" Panicked Sullivan, "Oh my devi! My grandchildren have turned into delinquents! NOOOOOOO!"
"Morning, guys." Greeted Isabelle before she noticed her housemates' new looks. "Whoa. What happened to them, Lord Sullivan?"
"Isa... my grandkids... they've..." Lord Sullivan said with hesitation before finally exclaiming. "THEY'VE GONE BAD!"
Isabelle was surprised upon hearing this.
Isabelle, Sullivan, and Opera's morning was surprising. What in the world happened to Ryūko and Iruma? It's a mystery so let us bring you to that story another time. Stay devi-tuned.
