Star City

The entire city was a wreck. God only knows how Central City was coping with just C.C.P.D's protection instead of having Team Flash there to save them. Vibe, Frost, Flash and yet-to-be-named Hunter were still standing on the roof, just watching and waiting for the correct time.

Flash gripped the virus in his hand tightly. This small device held in his hand was the one thing that could bring him his son. This needed to be perfect. After a moment, Flash turned towards Vibe and Frost, sighing softly. This needed to be said.

"Incase this whole thing goes south," Flash began softly, "Thank you, both of you, for being there with me through all of this"

Vibe and Frost both looked at Flash before pulling him in for a hug, the pair saying the exact same phrase to the speedster, "We're going to be with you till the end of the line"

Taking a deep breath, Flash turned to Hunter, a grim expression on his pale friend's face.

"Hunt-" Flash began, advancing towards him. Hunter stuck his hand out though, pausing the Speedster.

"You can tell me all of this stuff after we save the city and make it out alive," Hunter confirmed, sharing a quick smile with his friend before their comms roared to life once more.

It was go time.

Star City

Vibe, Frost and Hunter had begun the evacuation process. They were trying their hardest to save as many civilians as they could. Casualties and fatalities were inevitable though, much to their dismay.

The blackout had caused too many deaths and too much destruction. If they didn't do something soon, the entire city would be destroyed and it would never be the same.

Something caught Hunter's peripheral vision as he glanced over to Frost, who had just saved a mother and her three children from a car explosion. Frost seemed to notice the sudden object as soon she was staring at it, her face going to an even paler shade of white.

She shakily raised her hand to her comm, knowing that it was time.

"Guys…" She began, "I think we found the satellite"

The satellite was huge. The silver paint glistened in the moonlit sky as it passed over the innocent city it was moments away from destroying completely. The moment it would get into position, it would receive the same signal from Devoe's laptop and the brainwashing would commence. It was all up to Flash now.

"I've got eyes on it," Flash said into his mic, "It's showtime"

Just then Green Arrow, Spartan and Speedy all arrived just seconds later, armed and battle-ready. Frost, Vibe and Hunter approached the trio once they had rescued all of the civilians from their sector.

"Be prepared for the satellite to either explode or come crashing down," Vibe warned them, turning to face the building Flash was standing on.

"This is our plan," Green Arrow said, "Frost, Vibe, if the satellite comes crashing down or explodes, try and get as much of the debris as you can to not hit the civilians. Hunter, Speedy, Spartan and I will try and help S.C.P.D and others with the amount of patients and deaths they are dealing with"

The group all nodded their heads and went in their different directions. Frost and Vibe one way: Green Arrow, Spartan, Speedy and Hunter in the other.

Queen Consolidated Roof

Flash was waiting anxiously for the satellite confirmation on the comm system when he spotted it. It was too low into the Earth's atmosphere rather than just orbit on the outskirts of it. Something was going to happen.

Flash took one last look at the virus in his hand before waiting for Overwatch's signal.

It seemed like he was waiting forever when he finally heard her voice fill up the comm system.

"Aim for the centre of the Satellite," She told him, "They usually have little USB ports there for when they want to get remote access to it from space without having a wireless receiver"

Flash nodded his head and raced off of the building, knowing this was his only chance at saving his kid.

Foundry

Iris, Joe, Harry, Wally and Felicity were all watching the events take place in the Foundry. Luckily, they had managed to instigate a backup software that was feeding the monitors there the visuals from Vibe's goggles as well as Flash's vitals from his emblem. Iris had her eyes locked onto her husband's vitals. She needed to have some form of visual confirmation that he was okay and alive.

Suddenly, footsteps filled the room, breaking the tense silence they were in. They all swivelled their heads around to where they were coming from. Iris paled in shock at who it was.

"Marliese?" Iris asked her, slowly moving from her place at the monitors to move towards the other woman. Joe watched with his hand planted onto his waist holster, his fingers tensing around his gun. Something more caught Iris' attention though, something that made her eyes open wide in fear. It was the way Marliese was not only bundled under about 8 different pieces of clothing but how tightly she seemed to be holding a certain section to her chest. Wally, Harry and Felicity all watched, frozen in shock as Marliese slowly pulled all her layers of clothing away, revealing the sleeping form of a baby.

"I couldn't just sit around and wait for my husband to kill him"
