Everyone is down in the room. We had a chance that was just ripped away. If we can't beat Vocal it was all for nothing. The club doesn't move on.
That shouldn't matter though! We should be happy to be back together again. I guess I just wanna still be a good teacher. Winning doesn't mean everything though.
We can still move on with our lives happy. There's no reason to be upset over a loss. We are the best damn club out there! We can do other things with them!
I can teach them life lessons and help them!
"Alright!" I get everyone's attention "Win or lose tonight I don't care! We gave it our all and that's all that matters ok? Some of us did something new, some of us tried our best, but in the end it doesn't matter! Cause we are a family and we stick together through the good and the bad!"

Sam nods before pulling out his phone. Music starts and I see everyone starts smiling.

I look around and see everyone smiling now. This really is a small family. We have given it our all and that's all I could ever ask for. The lights flash and everyone is standing.
"Alright" I open the door and turn toward them "Let's go see what our future holds"
Everyone files out as we walk in a group. We go through the back and walk onto the stage. I look out and see the kids families along with ours. The judge taps on the mic before speaking.
"We have our votes in for this lovely evening" He clears his throat and holds up the card "In third we have...Vocal adrenaline!"
"How?" I look over at Judy who looks scared "Did the blazers do better?"
"Blazers?" I turn and my heart drops "Dalton"
"Now for our" The judge talks with the others before standing up "It seems we have a tie actually! That third was second place and the winners are McKinley and Dalton!"
The crowd applauds and I look over at Jesse. He looks just as confused as I do. Dalton wasn't on the lineup. How did they get here?
"Guess we are sharing a trophy" a boy with slick hair walks over "Promise not to cause too much separation anxiety"
"Go away Sebastian" Blaine steps forward "We will see you at regionals"
"We will win at regionals" Another preppy boy walks over "It's nothing that should be too hard"
"Let's be professional" I notice the logo on their warbler on a judges undershirt "YOU CHEATED!"
"Excuse me mam?" The announcing judge walks over "What do you mean?"
I walk over and point to the judge "Show the undershirt" he doesn't make a move "SHOW IT!"
"Damnit Harold show it!" The judge shakes his head "We will have to disqualify them if not"
"Fine" he reluctantly does and sure enough there it is "Happy?"
"Extremely" I look at the other judges "Why not replace the cheating team with Vocal adrenaline? It's only fair!"
"I would have to agree" The female judge looks at the other judge "You have any issues?"
"Not at all" He looks to the announcer "Announce the change"
"Ladies and gentlemen there seems to be a update!" I can see the warblers all shocked they were caught "Since there was unlawful judging..you new tie for first will be vocal adrenaline! Warblers are now disqualified from competing this year!"
"That's good" I walk to the group and smile "Lets get to our celebration dinner"
We start walking backstage quickly "Shelby!" I stop and turn around to see Jesse "Thank you for doing this..you just made so many kids days"
"The better team deserves it" I hold my hand out and smirk "Gives us reason to beat you for sure next time"
"Oh yeah" He chuckles and shakes my hand "You are so on"
We go our separate ways and I feel relieved. We are moving on and it's against a fair team. Those warblers best watch out. I best not catch them near my kids.
"Really?" I stop as I see the club surrounding Rachel "Tell her the news!"
"I was contacted by a former professor" Rachel gives a shy smile "They know a school here that I could become a teachers aide for..maybe I could eventually teach too"
"That's great" I see everyone still having knowing looks "What did I miss?"
"It's here" I look at her hoping I'm hearing this right "I'm going to be your teaching aide while I work for my degree"
"THAT IS FANTASTIC!" I pull her into a hug while everyone cheers "I get to see you more often and you can bring the babies!"
"That's not the only great news" We all look at Santana who smiles "I have officially been given my aides license and am coming here too! I will be helping a certain health teacher who is scaring kids"
"They need to know how condoms work!" Holly pouts "I'm not trying to be scary"
"Does Lucy have any news?" She gives a shy smile and nods "What is up with you?"
"I am going to be a director at a boys and girls club!" She looks so happy "I get to help out with the community and everything!"
I smile and look at the three girls "You all are doing amazing things" They give big smiles and I clap "This makes tonight's celebration dinner even bigger!"
"Yeah!" Blaine leads the charge to the doors "Let's go get our breadsticks on!"
"Crazy kids" I chuckle and put my head on Judys shoulder "We raised some great kids"
"Yes we did" I sigh as I watch them go with the babies "They've grown up so fast"
