As grim as things were on the Beebo Nation Earth, things weren't much better on Earth-X. Sonnet had taken Ray to 'Mommy', who was not happy about the others 'escaping'. Now, because of the fire totem, there were controlled fires spread out all over Earth-X.

Sara, Mari and Nate had encountered a few of the fires, but Ava, Mick and Mona seemed to come across a fire at every turn they made.

"What is going on? Where is all this fire coming from?" Ava wondered

"Yeah. Don't they realise that this Earth is already dead." Mona pointed out.

Ava pulled out her phone to call Sara, only to find that she had no cell service. She just grumbled as she placed her phone back in her pocket.

"We're on our own." Mick stated

Ava nodded, even though she knew that Mick was making a statement and not asking a question. She, Mona and Mick continued on their way, trying to avoid the small controlled fires.

Back on Earth-38, Connor had his own orders. He was to start in Star City and then move over to Central City.

There was a reason for the boss telling him to start in Star City, and that reason was because so much has happened in Star City that nobody really questions anything anymore.

Several areas were already flooding in Central City by the time that Clive Doyle and Douglas Martin noticed. They decided to put in a call to David as they took their congregation of about 200 to the underground bunker that they had built.

Diana Henry was the one that called David. She warned him about the flooding in Central City and that depending on how bad it was, it might run over into National City. She wasn't trying to alarm him. She just wanted him to be prepared.

One of the people who had joined the Central City Branch Davidians was Caitlin Snow. She had joined about a year ago when she was searching for some kind of meaning in her life. She had never told Barry or Cisco though. She never even told Iris or Felicity. She didn't think they would understand. And Joe? Face it. He would probably try to talk her out of it. She loved her Star Labs family, and she loved Joe, but he didn't ever seem to get out of dad mode.

While the flooding was happening and they were all heading down to the bunker, Caitlin decided to check in with her friends to make sure they were okay and tell them that she was safe with friends and wouldn't be coming in to work today.

Star City was an entirely different story right now. The whole place was flooded, but Ruby was safe in the Arrow bunker, trapped inside the water bubble that Connor had made just for her. Ironic that her prison was now saving her life.

However in National City, the flooding hadn't even started there yet. The DEO couldn't make sense of it. The amount of flooding that was in Central City and Star City, National City should have been flooded too by now.

Charlie was confused by it as well, but she figured that maybe whoever was orchestrating all this didn't know about her baby being the solution to saving the mulitverse. Charlie knew that to be true with 100% certainty, but there was only one problem. She had promised David that she wouldn't do anything to risk her life or their baby's life. Even if she didn't make that promise, she would still have a problem.

It seemed that David didn't trust her promise, because every hour someone would come ckeck on her. It was like clockwork. She understood his reasoning. He had a completely valid reason. She did sneak off when Atlantis was in the sky. It was still frustrating though.

Rachel and baby Zion had just left Charlie. There was a couple minutes of downtime, but it wasn't enough for her to try anything. She's six and a half months pregnant and huge. She's not going anywhere fast. Not that she had time to think of an escape plan anyways, because just then Lorraine walked in.

"How are you doing, Charlie?"

Charlie let out a breath and forced a smile, "I'm doing great."

Lorraine gave a small laugh, "Oh...really."

"You know, I'd be doing a lot better if I could just have a few moments to myself. A few moments to just breathe and think."

"The thinking part is what David is afraid of."

Charlie sighed, "Yeah. I know." She nodded, "I know I can be stubborn at times...okay, pretty much all the time, but look at me." She gestured to her belly, "Does it look like I'm going anywhere."

Lorraine laughed, "I see your point. David is just being extra cautious."

"I don't remember him being this cautious when Aisha, Shari, Kathy, Sherri, Audrey, Lisa and your daughter Rachel were pregnant with one of his children."

"But this baby is special." Lorraine argued, "It's the twenty-fourth."

Charlie nodded, "Yeah. I know, and that's kind of my point. This baby has a destiny. This baby also has powers that enable it to protect itself."

"Just...listen to David. He loves you. He loves all of us."

"I know."

Suddenly 53 year old Theresa Nobrega came running in with Startle behind her holding a phone. The little girl was yelling 'Mama Charlie! Mama Charlie!'.

Charlie and Lorraine both directed their attention towards the door. Seeing the unpleasant looks on Theresa and Startle's, neither Charlie nor Lorraine were happy to be seeing their loved ones.

"What's going on?" Charlie asked, being the first to speak.

"The phone. It's for you, Mama." Startle told Charlie as she gave her the phone.

Charlie took the phone, directing her attention to Theresa, "Is everything alright? Who's on the phone?"

"No." Theresa replied while shaking her head, "It's General Carter."

Startle climbed up on the bed, sitting beside Charlie, who was now holding the phone up to her ear, "Hey Sam."

"Hi Charlie, I hate to call you." Sam said, "But I actually have some bad news."

"Okay. What is it?"

"We intercepted a message from someone called Reign on another Earth. The message is for you."

Charlie took a breath, "What does the message say?"

"In the wake of your deaths, I will rise. Unless the twenty-fourth chooses to stop me, and that's how many hours until the multiverse is no more." Sam informed, "And there was a countdown with it."

"How long?" Charlie asked stuttering, almost too afraid to know the answer.

She heard Sam clear her throat, "Well, there's...the countdown started as soon as we got the message. It's twenty-three hours and thirty minutes left."

Charlie sighed, "Okay. Thank you, Sam."

"Good luck, Charlie."

As soon as she heard the click of the phone, Charlie handed the phone to Lorraine. Theresa had already left. She felt Startle snuggle closer to her and she wrapped an arm around the little girl, wondering what she could possibly do. The multiverse will most likely end and it will be her fault. She and everyone she loves is going to die, because she can't do anything to stop this Reign person. Even with the immense power coming from the baby within her womb, Charlie felt powerless because even if David didn't make her promise not to do anything to risk her life or the baby's life, she still wouldn't know what to do.

Do you think Charlie will be able to save the multiverse?
