Although his introduction wasn't very formal, the figure dashed towards his opponent at full speed, ready to chop her head off. A singular slash could end this all, when they came to a sudden realization.
"Wait!"
The man realized something. Subaru had warned him earlier that killing Sirius could have severe consequences. Since he was not sure about this Sin Archbishop's power, causing conflict could lead to unexpected consequences.
He instead came up with a different plan. With quick thinking, he dashed around Sirius in circles. Being impossible to keep up with the red-haired man, Sirius took a small step back with a disgusted face.
"How vile! How disgusting! How! How! Ho- "
The bandaged female began to flail her chains around, causing a small flame to shoot out. She felt a sharp pain in her head, and with that, her vision faded to black.
"I got her!" Reinhard looked down at the passed-out Sin Archbishop. Reinhard used the same spell he did in order to force Felt asleep back at the loot house, however this was much more intense.
Suddenly, Reinhard heard a strange noise, of what sounded like people hitting the floor.
Looking up, the red-haired man noticed a crowd a small distance away from him, beginning to pass out.
"This isn't good!"
He looked around quickly to find a place apart from the city. Seeing a seemingly abandoned shack, he dashed inside, carrying Sirius' sleeping body.
Looking around in a hurry, Reinhard stood in the dusty, old room. Being dimly lit by the sunlight outside, through the boarded windows, the room was made of wood through and through. Wooden floorboards laid across the room, not failing to creak if someone stepped on them.
The walls were tan, with a glossy finish. The ceiling was made with what seemed like the same type of wood the floorboards were made of, however, way smoother.
Old Furniture stood in the room, along with a coffin sitting on the floor. Strange, but would make do.
Reinhard saw this, and grabbed the coffin, putting Sirius inside of it. He then closed the coffin and dashed out of the shack.
"Sealing stones!" Reinhard dashed, coming to a stop near a busy sidewalk, accompanying the canal ways.
He took a moment to remember where he was, being this was not the first time in this city. Coming to the realization to where he was in the city, he began to dash, and said in a hurry "To Kiritaka Muse's shop!"
Kiritaka Muse was a popular merchant known in the city of Priestella. Reinhard knew him as the merchant who collected stones, sealing stones included.
Although being unsure, seeing as to their stock being limited, now was no time to question. He could only hope they had sealing stones in stock, along with the fact that Sirius could wake up at any given moment.
"I see it! It's in the distance!" The shop he was destined to get to was only a couple hundred feet away. Reinhard came to a halt before the entrance, needing to grab the stone, pay, and get out as quickly as possible. He took a step forward, as a voice came from ahead of him.
"Where are you looking? You dull, dense, useless piece of shit? It's because of this foolishness that you can't be saved. Come on, open your dog eyes wide, and think hard with your empty heads. Then maybe this gentle lady will show mercy to your filthy soul, you rotten bag of meat!"
Dumbfounded, Reinhard gave a blank stare at the person standing before him. There, stood a girl, seemingly a child. She looked around 10 or 11, and immediately reminded him of Felt.
However, she was not as formal even though Felt wasn't formal either, she had odd speech patterns and clothing. She had a thin, small bra covering her chest.
Being loose, it showed some skin, which immediately made Reinhard feel uncomfortable. The only other piece of clothing she wore was a loose undergarment, matching the color and design of her bra.
"Gahahahahahahahaha! That stupid face you are putting on, did you save it just for me? So this gentle lady would give you praise! Or would you rather have my saliva? You would be happy with that? For meat bags like you, it must be a precious treasure, right!"
Hearing her words, Reinhard tensed up. "Who are you?!" Posing the question, he stood in a position where he could easily take her down if she started to attack.
"So it's my name you desire, how foolish! This kind lady is the Sin Archbishop of Lust!" The girl leaned downward while saying this, with a wink.
Reinhard took a small step back in silence. Her clothing, her appearance, her choice of words, she definitely fits for Sin Archbishop of Lust.
"I am Capella Emerada Lugunica-sama! Now die! You rotten piece of meat!"
"How?!" Reinhard was dumbstruck. Sin Archbishops usually do not have such royal sounding names, so the fact that she would have been in the Witch Cult would be deemed unbelievable. However, this could have just been an alias.
Reinhard quickly felt an instinct of defense. Reinhard stepped back once again, and noticed black wings growing out of the girl at a slow pace.
Suddenly, her entire body turned into a charcoal, morphing and growing larger. Before him, stood a fierce black dragon.
Reinhard inhaled, closing his eyes. He put a firm grip on his sword bound to his hip and unsheathed it. He pointed the tip at the tall dragon, with both hands now gripping the sword. Needing to get the job done fast, he dashed and jumped, ready to cut off its head.
"I hope that damn bastard Sirius has been taken care of by now…"
Subaru leaned against the carriage, which was pulled over by the bridge, allowing other carriages to pass by. Subaru recalls his past encounters with Sirius, tensing up.
He could only hope that Reinhard already took care of the bandaged Sin Archbishop while the other sat in the carriage talking amongst each other. However, Ram and Rem were elsewhere.
All Subaru knew was that those two weren't in the carriage. Just as Subaru was about to go looking for the twins, he heard a soft voice.
"Subaru, would you mind coming over here?" Turning around, Subaru was met with Rem. She seemed to be a little tensed up, upon seeing Subaru. "Sure Re- "
Subaru looked forward and saw Ram, who was at a distance away from the carriage, staring into the water.
Rem gripped Subaru's hand, and took him over to where Ram was. Upon seeing them approaching, Ram turned to the two. Subaru looked at her, being returned with a stare. Ram then walked away, as Rem came to a stop.
"Subaru…" Rem called his name. Subaru looked down at her with a small gentle smile. "Yes, what is it you need, Rem?" He responded. Rem looked down, with her hands behind her back. "I—love you."
Subaru's eyes widened. He was struck with confusion, flush, bewilderment. Subaru almost knew she felt that way, but he was more surprised she would confess and confirm so suddenly. "H-huh?" Subaru blurted out. Rem began to look up. "Although you seem very close to sister, I just want you to know that I love you."
Subaru's face began to turn bright red "H-how do you love me?!" Subaru asked in bewilderment that he felt. Rem looked up at Subaru, with her eyes gleaming. The water made a calming noise, as the wind gave a small breeze. "You don't know? It's because you're my hero Subaru!" Subaru stood speechless, as Rem looked up at him, covering her face in attempt to hide her blush.
"Back in that dark alley when I didn't even know who I was anymore, who were the one who healed my wound and saved me!"
Rem had flashbacks to the time where she was being manipulated by horn that grew on her forehead. The pain, confusion that she felt was unforgettable, along with the way her behavior looked to others. Subaru responded. "You're wrong… I didn't do that!" Nonetheless, she continued.
"When I woke up, you let me see the person I wanted to see the most, when I wanted to see them most, and with the person I most wanted to see them with!" She referred to having him and Ram being the first two people she woke up to. Subaru once again was speechless. Having thoughts running through his mind, he had to make one thing clear.
"Rem…" Subaru casted his gaze downward. "Yes, what is it?" Rem said in a hopeful tone, ready to listen to whatever he may speak of. "Rem... I'm sorry, but I just like Ram more. It makes me happy that you love me, but I can't be unfaithful to Ram."
Subaru had a guilty expression on his face as he spoke these words. "I know. I just want you to know that I'll always be by your side!" Rem gave Subaru a soft, reassuring smile.
Once again, Subaru was left with widened eyes. Suddenly, Rem pulled Subaru into an embrace. She held her head in his chest. "Thank you, for everything" Rem thought, as she began to tear up.
"Ow, this hurts…" Rem gripped Subaru way too tightly, although he didn't mind as now was a special occasion. Even though he loved Ram, hearing those words still filled him with joy. Just knowing he had both the twins he could rely on, made him feel safe and happy at the same time.
Rem looked up at Subaru.
"Are you alright?" Subaru looked back down at the blue-haired maid. "Yeah, I'm fi-" A drip of water hit Rem's cheek. Subaru had tears flowing down his cheeks, he hadn't even noticed. He wiped the wet feeling on his face, coming to the realization he was crying. The breeze made the tears fall at a quicker pace, along with blowing his hair. Rem smiled, wiping the tear that fell on her cheek.
"Do you really think that you, a dull meat bag, can compete with the wonderful Capella-chan? Gahahahahhahaha!" A cloud crawled across the sunlight, as the sun emerged, illuminating the red-haired knight and the fierce death-threatening dragon.
Suddenly, Reinhard felt a burning heat, realizing that the dragon- or Capella, was spewing black flames. Dodging the attack with ease, the flames landed on the grass surrounding them, very quickly spreading across their area. Reinhard swung vertically at the flames, swinging a gust that instantly put them out.
Capella kept spewing flames at Reinhard, paying no care that he can simply put out the flames if they landed anywhere.
"Perfect!"
Reinhard threw a gust of wind at the flames spewing from her mouth, causing Capella to be momentarily stunned. Reinhard then dashed, jumped, and swung his sword. His blade pierced the dragon's neck, cutting through it relentlessly.
"-GAAAAAAH!"
Capella let out a pained growl, mixed with her own voice, causing a strange tone. The head of the dragon fell to the dirt ground, causing the ground to rumble slightly.
Reinhard landed on his feet, as he peered back to examine the corpse of the dragon. "Is this over?!" Reinhard looked at the limp corpse, when suddenly, it began to take movement once again.
He swung back, seeing the dragon with its head once again. Reinhard stood dumbfounded, as Capella spoke.
"Gahahahahahahaha! Do you really think you would be able to kill this lovely lady? Then think again! I'm immortal!"
Capella began spewing flames once again, which were easily evaded and put out by Reinhard. They kept going about this, as Reinhard was still left confused as to how she didn't die after being decapitated. Capella then stopped spewing flames and morphed back into the appearance Reinhard was first met with.
"Time's up, I have to go make the next broadcast, so I'll go back inside. Talking to you is just a waste of time, and I'm in a hurry! Just stay here and die, red-haired meat bag! Go rot in hell!" with that, Capella dashed away. Reinhard stood in a small moment of silence, confused.
Clearing his thoughts for the time being, he focused back into acquiring a sealing stone to take care of Sirius. The shop was unharmed thanks to Reinhard.
Walking into the building, Reinhard was met with a smell that always meant something bad happened. Blood. With the smell leading upstairs, Reinhard ran to the source. Entering a room, he saw Kiritaka Muse covered in wounds in a pool of blood.
Reinhard gave a pained expression, clenching his fists. Although he wanted to help the man, he needed to take care of the situation at hand first.
Noticing chests around him, filled with stones, he dug through them. Knowing what the stone looked like, he was able to find it in an easy amount of time. "Found it."
Reinhard dashed out of the shop with the stone in his hand. Initially, he thought to come across Capella on his way out. However, this was proven false. She was not outside upon his exit, meaning Reinhard could get back to the shack he left Sirius in quicker.
In no time, he arrived at the shack. Bursting through the entrance once again, he saw the coffin with the bandaged figure laying in it.
Feeling relieved and destined, he threw the coffin down onto the floor, and closed it. He then placed the stone on top of the coffin, doing a gesture with his hands. With that, the stone began glowing blue, encasing the entire coffin.
The coffin then laid there, glowing. Reinhard stood up, sighing with relief. Sirius, once and for all, was taken care of. However, not all problems were gone. Capella was still on the loose. Reinhard exited the abandoned shack, remembering to take care of the coffin as soon as they figure out what to do with Capella.
Subaru gazed out at the water, with Rem and Ram by his side. Looking over at the gate, he saw a red-haired knight approaching them.
"Reinhard!"
Subaru shouted his name. Reinhard had a reassuring smile on his face. Bowing down, he reassured Subaru "She has been taken care of." Subaru was left speechless. Reinhard looked at his expression, and he could tell Subaru was utterly shocked. Subaru's knees almost gave out with relief, as he couldn't help but smile.
"However… While trying to defeat Wrath, I encountered another opponent. She calls herself the Sin Archbishop of Lust, Capella Emerada Lugnica."
