Epilogue
The Call to New Adventures: Farewell Guardians of Kingdom Hearts.
Now that the world was at peace once again, Sora met up with Rei, Usagi, Minako, Ami, Makoto, and Mamoru at the Hikawa Shrine.
"Oh, Sora," they said.
"Hiya," he replied.
Usagi smiled respectfully at him.
"You know, it feels strange. I think I'm starting to miss Chibiusa," she said.
"I know, but I'm sure both yours and Mamoru's future selves are happy to know that she'll live on in our hearts, no matter when or where she comes from," replied Sora.
Rei nodded, a content smile on her face.
"Still, Even after what happened, I had no idea that you could have the power to rival a god in strength, as well as how you used the X-blade to help us vanquish Death Phantom for good," she said.
"But at the same time, I was worried that you also died, but I'm glad you're still here with us," agreed Minako.
"You know, at first I thought you and the rest of you guy pals were like you-know-who, but you proved me wrong, because, while I may still think about him, that doesn't mean I could ask your friend Terra on a date," said Makoto.
"I'm sure Aqua and I would get along with each other quite well, Sora. So, if Usagi can trust you, then so can I," smiled Ami.
"And if anything should happen to me or Usako, we'll trust you and your friends to watch our backs," finished Mamoru.
"Yeah, same here Mamoru," replied Sora.
Then the two guys shook hands with each other, making Usagi respectfully smile at him.
"So where will you go?" she asked curiously.
"There are other worlds out there that are calling to me and the Guardians of Kingdom Hearts. So no matter where I go, you and your friends will always be with me, no matter what," grinned Sora.
"Well, before you go, Sora, There's just one last thing I want to give you," said Minako.
Sora wasn't sure what she meant, but he soon understood when Minako gently kissed him on the lips, and eventually gave into the kiss as well.
"This kiss doesn't just mean that I love you, it's to wish you good luck on your adventures," She explained, after pulling apart.
"Thank you," Sora replied with a grin.
"You're welcome, Sora, Warrior of Light, Knight of Sailor Moon. May you forever walk in the light of the phoenix," said Rei.
"I will, Rei," replied Sora.
But Usagi pulled Sora towards her into a gentle embrace.
"And on behalf of the moon, may your heart be your guiding key. Because like Mamo, and everyone else, you'll always be in my heart, no matter what," she said.
"And all of you, are right here too," replied Sora.
Everyone nodded at his words as he walked towards the steps, then stopped and turned to face them.
"See ya," he said, and in the next minute he was gone.
Fist pumping the air, Sora walked to his friends, boarded the Golden Highwind, and blasted off into space, leaving Sailor Moon's world, and the solar system far behind, and heading off to other worlds that would answer their call. In the ruined Citadel of Insomnia, Maleficent, Hyena, Ardyn, Sephiroth, and Mortimer were disgusted by how Death Phantom had fallen, when Ultimecia arrived.
"Forgive my abrupt arrival, but the Black Moon Clan has fallen. Death Phantom has always viewed his pawns as expendable," she said.
"It is of no concern, Ultimecia. For now, I've received word of a group of scientists that could potentially help us in turning this world Sailor Moon resides upon into darkness," replied Maleficent.
The wicked fairy turned to Sephiroth, Pete, and Mortimer.
"You three will assist Professor Souichi Tomoe, father of Hotaru, as well as the vessel of Mistress 9, a spawn of Pharaoh 90 in plunging this world into darkness. But be warned, there may be other Sailor Guardians besides Sailor Moon and her friends, who seek the three sacred talismans that shall bring forth both the holy chalice, as well as the calamity, Sailor Saturn, Guardian of Destruction and Revolution. I will join with you shortly, and will be more than happy to help my old friend, Kaolinite of the Death Busters," she said.
"I see, and these Death Busters wish for this world to be destroyed just as I do. Very well, I'll see what I can do," replied Sephiroth.
"As for me, I will remain with Hyena in the citadel and observe what is going on via this terminal," said Ardyn.
Maleficent, Pete, Mortimer, and Sephiroth then walked off into the dark corridor, and soon vanished. Once they were gone, Hyena activated the holoterminal. Soon the image of a man dressed in a lab coat, and a woman in a red dress appeared before them.
"Yes?" Professor Tomoe asked.
"I bring you good news, old friend. Maleficent will be helping you and dear Kaolinite in your search for both the sacred talismans, the holy chalice, and the purest Heart-Crystal that will restore your one true Sovereign of Silence," replied Ardyn.
"Is that so? Where are Maleficent and her allies?" asked Kaolinite.
"They will be on their way, Kaolinite. However, she forewarned us about the Sailor Guardians, and their Keyblade Wielding allies who slew Death Phantom and the Black Moon Clan," said Hyena.
"How could an extraordinary boy like Sora help this Sailor Moon defeat Death Phantom?" asked Mimette, who curiously stepped next to the professor.
"I don't know, maybe it's because there are more Heart-Crystals connected to him that we need to be cautious around him," scoffed Eudial.
"True, but I wonder if a Heart-Crystal could become so contaminated with darkness it could unleash something far more worse from within it. It's worth a chance to see how Sora would react to seeing someone close to him lose said Heart-Crystal that it would draw out an even greater darkness within him," said Tellu.
"Maybe, but we won't know for sure until we try," assured Viluy.
"If Sora does have a dark side within him, then he could certainly become a powerful ally to us," Cyprine and Ptilol said in unison.
"Ladies, ladies, please. I'm sure that there will be a perfect chance for Sora's dark side, Vanitas to show himself, unless we were to ruin one's birthday. After all, if the target you seek doesn't possess a talisman, then we can ground that Heart Crystal in to dust," smirked Hyena.
"Very well spoken, Hyena. Yes, Sora's Dark Side Vanitas could awaken if someone's birthday were to be brought to ruination," replied Ardyn.
He turned to the Death Busters.
"Professor, Kaolinite, Eudial, Mimette, Tellu, Viluy, Cyprine, Ptilol, may the darkness grant you victory," he said.
"Thank you Ardyn, I'm fairly certain that you and I will be working very closely, from here on out," replied Souichi.
"I'll join you shortly as well," said Hyena.
"Thank you Hyena R. Droid. Death Buster command out," smirked Kaolinite.
The hologram shimmered, and vanished in an instant. Ardyn sat quietly on the throne of kings, and looked out into the darknened sky.
"Soon, Sora. Soon, you're demise will be all the more beautiful, just like your father's," he chuckled to himself, as Hyena walked into the dark corridor to meet with Maleficent, Pete, Sephiroth, and Mortimer.
