To all those who wouldn't stop asking me, "Wen Blood Moon Ball?" here you go, everyone! I hope that I lived up to your expectations.
By the way, I had originally meant to have Tom's gender-swapped counterpart voiced by Olivia Olson, but then I remembered that I have her for Karla already. So, instead, I have Cristina Vee. Why Cristina Vee? Because I wanted a voice actress whose voice could be both attractive when necessary and scary when needed. And she was the best choice. Enjoy!
PS-My other choice was Brina Palencia.
In the aftermath of Comet's Mewberty-induced rampage, Echo Creek Academy lay in ruins. Principal Skeeves nearly had a heart attack over how much it would cost to repair the school. And that would be on top of having to close it down in the meantime. Fortunately, King Mune had stepped in and provided the money and magical labor needed to repair everything. Within a week, the school had been fully restored and reopened its doors.
After school reopened, Comet insisted on going in front of everyone and publicly apologizing for wrecking the school. Thankfully, the student body had already been informed by Marcia that Comet was not in control of his actions that day. They quickly forgave him, and besides the guidance counselor getting a few extra visitors who wanted to talk about how they dealt with the Mewberty Incident, life soon returned to normal.
It was now the middle of the following week since Echo Creek reopened, and Karla had returned to her afternoon ritual of practicing her music in the school parking lot. Kevin was sleeping peacefully under the shade of his tree, the same as he always did. Life was good for everyone. Then, out of nowhere, a strange rippling sound came from the vicinity of the handicap spot. As Karla gazed up from her keytar out of curiosity at the sound, she saw the ground before her open up in a pillar of fire. Karla winced as she covered her unseen eyes, shielding them from the light and the heat. Kevin began to screech and rushed to protect his rider from the potential threat, not taking any chances after Mewberty. As soon as the geyser of flames appeared, though, it subsided. When Karla looked at the handicap spot again, she saw something now occupied it- a carriage.
The carriage looked like a fusion of gothic and Victorian aesthetics. It was dark and ominous-looking but, at the same time, elegant and sophisticated. And then there was the horse pulling it. It wasn't even a horse, but the flaming skeleton of a unicorn!
"That's the most metal thing I've ever seen, Kevin," Karla said as she looked at the carriage in awe. Just then, she heard a door on the opposite side of the carriage open, and someone stepped out and began to walk towards the school. The strange thing, though, was the fact that fire seemed to follow in their footsteps.
"Hey man, that's a handicapped spot," Karla tried to point out to the stranger. Whether they didn't hear her or didn't care, the stranger ignored her and kept walking. Kevin kept his eyes on the newcomer the entire time, not liking the aura they were emitting.
"Man, the nerve of some people," Karla muttered before looking at the carriage again. Getting an idea, the musician got up off the hood of her car and walked over to the flaming unicorn. "Hey, you mind if I take some photos for an album cover. I'm digging the whole 'Victorian Ghost Rider' style you've got going on," she asked.
It was late afternoon at Echo Creek Academy, and the students were going about their business, going to classes, gossiping with friends, and enjoying a relatively normal day. But slowly, all the noise began to drop to a whisper as a mysterious stranger, a girl, suddenly came in through the front door. And as the stranger confidently strode through the hallways, everyone began to stop and look at her.
To say that the girl looked different would be an understatement. Her skin had a pale, lilac hue that complemented her hair, which seemed to cascade down past her waist like a salmon-colored waterfall. She had a pointy nose and ears, the latter of which were asymmetrically pierced by a hoop and two stud earrings. She had on a fancy, semi-formal, low-cut dress that split in the middle to reveal her legs. And despite it being all black, the young woman seemed to have no problems dealing with the California heat. The strangest features about her, though, were the three-lensed sunglasses that obscured her eyes, the two pale-orange, white-tipped horns protruding from her head, and that with each step she took, she seemed to leave little fires in her path.
Despite her appearance, none of the students seemed to think she looked weird. Quite the opposite; they felt that she looked like some exotic beauty. Her long hair seemed to shimmer in the sunlight; her skin was smooth to the point that it would be considered flawless. And her body seemed to be the perfect blend of slim and curvaceous. Her choice of clothes only seemed to enhance how physically attractive she was, with the split in the middle letting people get a good look at her silky, creamlike thighs, while the low-cut drew attention to her considerably large chest. And there was the slow, confident way that she walked. She knew she was beautiful, and she wasn't afraid to let everyone know it!
Everyone reacted to the sight of this gorgeous young woman with awe. A couple of girls whispered to each other how pretty she was or how envious they were of her looks. A few girls couldn't help but feel jealous about her chest size, which looked to be in the range of D-Cup. Most of the guys looked at her like they'd seen a goddess. They were blushing, with a few even having nosebleeds at the sight of her. As Jackson and Jonah rode past on the former's skateboard, they couldn't stop staring at the stunning woman and didn't notice that they were heading straight for the stairs. A few of the more daring boys quietly whistled to themselves as she passed by.
As flattered as she was by all the attention, the girl wasn't interested. There was only one person whose attention truly mattered to her, and she wasn't going to leave until she found them. Finally, she made it to the door that she was looking for and opened it to head into the classroom inside. The teacher, who was giving a lecture at the board, became completely silent as she walked into the middle of the room. At last, her three eyes rested on her target: a young man with golden blonde hair, blue eyes, a devil-pointed cap with a star on it, and an adorable pink heart on his cheek. Comet Dragonfly, the Prince of Mewni, the most handsome boy, funny, sweetest, most perfect boy she had ever met; her soulmate. And if everything went as planned that night, he would finally realize it.
Using her powers to move everyone between her and the object of her affections out of her way, she lifted herself into the air until she was right in front of the Prince. Then, in one deft motion, she took off her glasses and flashed the most attractive smile she could make before holding out her hand. On her command, a flaming crescent moon appeared in her outstretched hand, the flames seeming to dance in her palm. She was Tamara "Tammy" Lucitor, Princess of the Underworld. And she'd come for her man.
"Hello, my love. I'm here to ask you to join me at the Blood Moon Ball."
As soon as she had said those words, the entire classroom erupted into a frenzy of shouting. Some of the girls began to squeal at the fact that Comet seemed to know this mysterious girl, while others silently cried, thinking they lost their chance with the Prince. On the other hand, the guys began to work themselves into a frenzy of jealousy. It was bad enough that Comet had attracted every girl's attention in school. But for a stranger to come in and so blatantly ask him out? It was almost too much for their collective ego to bear! One poor guy even looked like he was about to lose the will to live, with his friend having to shake him while begging him to keep it together.
When faced with the prospect of a beautiful woman asking you to take her to a mystical-sounding dance, many teenage boys would jump at the opportunity. Comet, on the other hand, was thinking something else entirely:
Nerp!
"No, no, no, no, nope!" Comet continued to say as he dragged Tammy back to her carriage. "You need to leave right now!" He said as he swung open the door and tried to push her inside. "Take your fire, your fancy-ass carriage, and dead horse, and go back to the Underworld! Good day!"
"Wait, I'm dead?" the horse asked in distress. Comet chose to ignore as he tried to stomp back inside the school. Unfortunately for him, Tammy didn't seem to get the message. Gently tapping the pavement with her foot, the girl used her fire to lift Comet into the air and then into her lap, making him freeze like a deer in headlights. He could see a good portion of her legs up to her silky smooth thighs with the way he was sitting. His heart began to race as he remembered how pretty she was and how nice she smelled. He swore that he could smell a new perfume on her at that moment.
"Oh, come on, my shooting star," she gently said as she proceeded to rub his head like he was some pet. "It's the Blood Moon Ball. It only happens once every 667 years." Tammy worked all of her feminine charms to talk Comet into listening to her. Sadly, the boy's willpower thwarted any attempts at seduction as he shot up from the unwanted lap pillow and looked Tammy dead in the eyes.
"We broke UP! END OF STORY! Now, as they say here on Earth, BEGONE THOT!" Comet angrily shouted before trying to march back inside the school, only to feel the tug of a hand trying to hold him back.
"Wait, wait, wait, Comet, sweetie. Just hear me out, please?" Tammy stood up and began to plead to him. "I know that we ended things on a bad note-"
"Understatement of the century," Comet muttered.
"-But I want you to know that I'm a changed woman. I took your advice and started getting help. I've got an anger management coach, Meg-"
"Hey there," a plain-looking woman with glasses and a pink beanie poked her head out of the carriage.
"She's awesome. And that's not all; I've got a happy bunny, see?" Tammy pulled out this fluffy, pink-furred bunny that nearly made Comet's heart melt from sheer cuteness. "And to top it off, I have been anger-free for fifty-three days straight. I even got the necklace to prove it!" Tammy then lifted her necklace, revealing it to say, "Anger-free for 53 days!" Tammy looked at Comet in earnest, hoping that he would believe her sincerity. She worked too hard and put too much effort into things to let her chance at love slip away again!
However, Comet still wasn't buying into any of this. "Is this some cheap trick?"
"No, it's no trick, sweetie! I really am trying to change! You breaking up with me made me realize that I either had to take care of this problem or face spending the rest of my life alone and miserable," Tammy honestly told him. "Now, don't tell me you don't want to pet my bunny; her name's Panne." Tammy held the pink bunny closer to Comet and let it begin to sniff him. "See? She likes you."
If there was one thing that Comet was weak against, it was anything cool or cute-looking. And no matter how much he wanted to get Tammy out of his life, he felt all his resolve begin to crumble at the sight of the fluffy bunny.
"Well, she is adorable..." Comet admitted and, without meaning to, began to reach out to pet it.
"CHA!!!" Then, out of nowhere, Marcia swooped down and proceeded to karate chop Tammy so hard, her hand fell off! "Get away from my friend, succubus!" Marcia yelled as she got into a defensive posture.
"Marcia!!" Comet cried out in astonishment. This is bad! Marcia has no idea how Tammy reacts when other girls are near me! She's going to get pulverized! Sure enough, Tammy looked at her hand and bunny as they lay on the ground before looking at the severed stump on her arm. As the pain coursed through her body as she finally registered what happened, her eyes became fixated on the one responsible. The girl that dared to strike her, to get between her and her love!
Without realizing it, Tammy's eyes began to glow an ethereal red as a guttural growl, brought on by a mixture of pain, anger, and jealousy, escaped from her throat. Seeing that her charge was dangerously close to losing it, Meg sprang into action. She ran to Tammy's side and began to walk her around in circles in a desperate attempt to keep her from blowing her stack.
"Walk it out, and talk it out. Just breathe and relax, girl. She didn't mean any harm by it," Meg said to get her under control. The whole time, though, Tammy's head never moved, her eyes remaining fixated on Marcia as she began to grumble in her native Demon language.
"Marcia, you better run. Like, now!" Comet begged his best friend to get the seven hells out of there before she got herself killed.
"Wait!" Tammy cried out. "No, no, no, no, no, no, no! It's fine!" She said before chuckling to herself as her eyes returned to normal. Using her supernatural control over her body, the demon girl then commanded her severed hand to pick Panne up off the ground before levitating back to her body, reattaching itself, and allowing her to pet the bunny vigorously.
"I'm good! Got the anger out; it's why I have my support system in place!" As she felt the soothing effect of Panne's fur kick in, Tammy let out a sigh of relief. "See? Everything's fine. We're fine!" Tammy didn't notice, but she had pet Panne so hard, the little bunny's fur got all poofy, which somehow made it look even cuter than before.
Letting himself relax a little, Comet put a hand on Marcia's shoulder. "Marcia, please stand down. This is...Tammy."
"Wait? The Tammy?" Marcia asked in confusion as her eyes began to dart back and forth between her friend and the demon. She still remembered the story Comet told after their adventure in the All Blue, and the fact that the girl he spoke about was standing in front of them didn't help matters!
"Anyway," Comet said as he clasped a hand on Marcia's shoulder. "Tammy, I want you to meet my best friend and roommate, Marcia Diaz. Who, as you can see, is a girl," he introduced his friend to his ex, making sure to emphasize that last word.
Tammy briefly scowled. She knew that Comet was doing this to mess with her and make her lose control. But she wasn't going to fall for it. Taking a deep breath, she walked over to the two and held out her hand. "Nice to, uh, meet you...Marcia," Tammy said in as polite a tone she could muster while Marcia shook her hand (which briefly became detached from her body.)
"Comet, whyyyy is she here?" Marcia asked out of concern.
"She...wants me to be her date to the, um, Blood Moon Ball," Comet nervously told his friend.
Red Flag! Marcia may not have that much experience with dating, but she knew girls. And when a girl pulled something like this, it was because they were trying to convince their ex to take them back! I'm putting my foot down on this, Marcia told herself. "Comet, as your best friend, I'm obligated to remind you to never go with a predator to a second location. Especially when said predator looks to be desperate," Marcia whispered that last part.
"Okay, look, I get it," Tammy said to deescalate things as she handed her bunny to Meg. "You think that I still can't be trusted. I was a total bitch before; I can admit that now. But Comet, I'm telling you that I have changed for the better. All I'm asking is for one chance to prove that to you," she said to her ex-boyfriend as sweetly as possible. "After all, I seem to recall that I'm not the only one with horns." Tammy pointed at Comet's trademark hat, making both of them smile. She was the one who first told him he looked great with that hat, prompting him to buy an entire line of devil-pointed headwear.
"Why didn't you tell me I'm dead, girl?" the skeleton horse asked, breaking the moment. Then, to top things off, the front door to the school slammed open, and out came Alfonso, Ferguson, Jackson, and Jonah, who promptly rushed to Comet's side.
"Comet!" Ferguson cried out. "Marcia told us that you were being abducted by a demon and came as soon as we...we..." the words died in the boy's mouth as he saw how stunning said demon was.
Annd that's my cue! Tammy thought. "Look, no pressure, but if you want to come, use these," she said, handing him a black bell and skull-shaped hammer before getting back in the carriage. "I hope to see you there, my love." Tammy then winked and blew a kiss towards Comet before letting the carriage be covered in flames as it descended back down into the Underworld as Comet looked on sadly.
"Tammy..."
At that moment, Karla happened to walk over, having taken several photo's of the carriage already, and asked the billion-dollar question:
"So, was she a friend of yours?"
Somehow, this made Ferguson snap out of his infatuation, only for him to grab Comet's shirt in response. "Comet, are you saying that you know that smoking hot chick? HAVE YOU BEEN HOLDING OUT ON US, MAN?!? I THOUGHT WE WERE FRIEEENNDS!" Ferguson then began to get all teary-eyed and started to cry into Alfonso's shoulders, making his friend have to rub his back to calm him down.
Marcia and the others couldn't help but roll their eyes at Ferguson; they knew that he was just trying to be overly dramatic.
"You done?" Comet simply asked, prompting Ferguson to cease the fake waterworks immediately.
"Yeah, I'm good. But seriously, do you know that hottie?"
"Yeah, Comet. How do you know that hot chick?" Jackson, of all people, asked, making Marcia scoff.
"She's not that hot," she muttered with a scowl on her face.
"Marcia, did you see her? She looked like a damn supermodel with what she was wearing!" Ferguson piped up.
"I mean, so she's got great hair. That doesn't make her a supermodel by default," Marcia tried to argue.
"I think they were more distracted by her legs, to be honest," Karla added in her two cents as she walked over.
"Don't you start on me too, Karla," Marcia told her friend.
"Wonder what kind of diet she uses to get her figure like that?" Karla asked herself, ignoring her friend.
Seeing that they were never going to get anywhere at this rate, Jonah decided to get everyone back on topic. "Comet, was that sexy demon chick who I think she was?" This managed to do the trick, as it got everyone back on topic.
Comet sighed, knowing that there was no way out of this conversation. "you guys just met Tamara Lucitor, the Princess of the Underworld, and my ex-girlfriend."
"Oh." Jonah, Jackson, and Alfonso all silently nodded, having heard the story about Tammy before. Out of respect for him, though, they kept quiet as Comet started reminiscing.
"We met several years ago at this ball held for all the young elites in Mewni, and we hit it off. We quickly became friends and started doing everything together. One day, I asked her out on a date, and she happily said yes. The next thing we knew, we were a couple."
"Aw, that's so sweet," Jackson commented, making Comet smile a little.
"Yeah, it was. But the thing is, Tammy always had a bit of a short fuse on her and could get angry fast. At first, I tried to deal with it, but it worsened as we got older. Then one day, I learned something that she'd been keeping a secret from me. Whenever she saw me talking to another girl, she would go berserk with jealousy even if they were a complete stranger. Whenever I wasn't looking, she got super territorial and threatened any girl unlucky enough to even look at me!"
"So, basically, she started acting like a yandere. Like Juvia from Fairy Tail, only not as lovable," Alfonso fearfully noted.
"Pretty much," Comet affirmed. "And about a few weeks before my last birthday, I couldn't take it anymore and dumped her. I haven't spoken to her since then," Comet bitterly noted before his eyes filled with regret. "But the thing is, even after everything that happened between us, I can't forget all the good times we had together." Looking down at the pavement, Comet began to absent-mindedly kick at some gravel.
Ferguson and Alfonso both looked at each other before looking back at Comet. "Nope," they both said.
"I'm out. Not interested," Alfonso said.
"I don't care how hot she is; yandere's are more trouble than they're worth," Ferguson agreed. However, Jonah got this sly look on his face.
"So, she's still single, right?"
Spongebob Narrator: Later that evening...
It was well into dusk at the Diaz house, and Comet had made up his mind. He was going to that dance with Tammy. Regardless of how their relationship ended, there was no denying how much fun they had together—and seeing her after all these months managed to drudge up a lot of good memories in Comet's head. He'd be lying to everyone, himself included if he said he didn't miss her. However, one person kept trying to talk Comet out of going: Marcia.
"You're making a big mistake, Comet," Marcia told him as she entered his room with a laurel of orange flowers and red leaves on her head.
"Maybe I am. But then again, maybe I'm not. It could end up being fun," Comet replied as he finished rummaging through his closet in search of something suitable to wear before running over to his mirror as Marcia looked on, unsure.
"Why not stay here and have a night in for a change? We can make our own fun, like...guaranteed." Marcia's tone of voice when she said that didn't sound convincing in the slightest, not even to herself.
"Well, this is a different kind of fun, Marcy," Comet explained before pressing a button on his mirror and converting it into a three-piece divider. "Don't look. I'm gonna change," he told her before ducking behind the wall and stripping himself down to his underwear before putting on the dress pants.
"I don't get it, Comet. I thought you said that you hated these kinds of parties," Marcia asked him as she shut her eyes.
"I never said that I hated them. What made you think that?"
"Well, the way you kept going on about how you hated all the snooty nobles, I assumed that you felt the same way about these dances and stuff," Marcia reminded him.
"Oh, no. Don't get me wrong: I hate those social gatherings where everyone's expected to stick to protocol, strict etiquette and use it as an excuse to broker alliances. But parties we just go to mingle, talk, and have fun? Those are the kinds of parties I like," Comet explained as he finished getting his pants on before moving on to the dress shirt. "Kind of like Brittney's party. You know, before she and Ludo ruined it for us."
"Don't remind me," Marcia bitterly noted. "But don't you see? Tammy's pulling the same thing that Brittney tried to do at her party."
"Of course she is, Marcia. I know that."
"Yet you're still going?"
"Obviously. Besides, I know she's not doing it for the status like Brittney did. She's doing it because she likes me for who I am. Seven Hells, she'd probably date me even if I wasn't royalty!" Comet laughed to himself at this. As Tammy grew into a teenager, she'd gotten a few admirers from young nobles and princes, but she made it clear she was only interested in Comet.
"But aren't you into Karla now, though?" Marcia had to bring that up to him.
"Yeah, but what that's got to do with anything?"
Marcia facepalmed. How could someone be so insightful at times yet remain denser than a black hole? "If you go there, she may take that as a sign that you want to take her back, genius."
"I never said that I would. Besides, I'd be lying to myself if I didn't admit that I miss having her in my life. This could be the rebirth of our friendship, Marcia!" Comet had finished buttoning up his dress shirt and now moved onto the jacket.
"I still don't trust Tammy, Comet. Maybe I should go with you to provide backup."
"You weren't invited, Marcia, and if you showed up, she might end up going berserk," Comet pointed out as he got his jacket on before grabbing his Wand. "Besides, sooner or later, you're going to have to trust me to do the right thing for mySEEEELLLLLFFF!!!" Comet had tried using the Wand to style his hair, but unfortunately for him, he ended up using too much power at once.
"Are you okay in there?" Marcia asked out of concern.
"Uh-huh," Comet numbly responded. "I just gotta remember to stop using magic on...on...on my face. It's not worth making my hair look better than it already is."
"Look, Comet. All I'm trying to say is that girls like Tammy never change. "
Comet grunted as he finished putting on the socks and shoes. "Well, there's only one way to find out." Comet then stepped out from behind the divider. "So, what do you think?" Marcia now took the opportunity to inspect Comet's attire...and almost went slack-jawed at what she saw.
His blonde hair, which seemed to be perpetually messy, had been carefully slicked back, save for a single strand that framed his forehead. He had swapped in his casual clothes for a clean, nicely pressed white tuxedo with matching white pants. Over the jacket, he had a pair of pink cuffs held in place by heart-shaped cufflinks and a little bow-tie around his neck. Underneath the coat, he had on a pink dress shirt that complemented both the cuffs, tie, and his cheekmark. He was wearing a pair of formal dress shoes to complete the whole ensemble.
Whoa, Marcia found her face turning red at how handsome Comet looked. Or how muscular he was; the way the suit hugged his body helped outline his muscles' contours!
"Wow. You look...amazing," Marcia dumbly said as she gave him a thumbs up.
"Thanks, Marcia," Comet happily said.
"Please don't go," Marcia whispered to him.
"I'm totally going," he replied before ringing the bell. As the tiny bell gave off a deep, resonant gong, the whole room began to shake. Outside near the tower's balcony, a pillar of fire sprang forth from the yard, revealing a Victorian-style carriage/elevator hybrid, held aloft by a winged demon.
"All right! Let's get this show on the road!" Comet excitedly said as he walked to the carriage. The doors then opened with a light ding, and a little drawbridge came out to let Comet climb aboard.
"Ooh, fancy! I like it!"
"Which floor, mortal?" The winged demon asked the boy. On a side note, despite how heavy it was breathing from carrying the carriage, it did not seem to be in that much discomfort.
Comet merely shrugged. "Um, I guess the bottom floor?"
Marcia, who watched the whole situation with concern, was too worried to let Comet go it alone. She had to go with him!
"Look, if you could just let me ride down with you, Comet..." she said as she tried to climb in, only for Comet to kick her away.
"Goodbye, Marcia!" Comet huffed in annoyance at how protective his bestie was being. "See you after the Bloooood Mooooon Baaaaall. Oooooh..." Just to mess with Marcia, Comet said the event's name in a spooky fashion as he held up his hands and wrung his fingers. Before Marcia even had a chance to respond, the carriage disappeared into another pillar of fire, leaving Marcia alone.
"I've got a bad feeling about this."
*Bzzt-Error-er-rr-eror. Corrupt data detected. Information not found. Second half of chapter unavailable.*
*As he finishes watching the events of the chapter on a mindscape projector, Jay bolts up out of his seat and does an overly exaggerated spit-take*
Jay: WHAT DO YOU MEAN THE SECOND HALF OF THE CHAPTER'S UNAVAILABLE?!!? I KNOW IT WAS THERE LAST NIGHT WHEN I WENT TO BED!
*Jay frantically looks through his laptop, his files, and the Grammarly extension he uses to write and edit. When he turns up nothing, a realization washes over him.*
*Janna, Kermit, The Spongebob Narrator, and Omnitraxus all appear next to Jay, having heard his yelling.*
Omni: Um, Jay? Is there something wrong? Because you sound stressed out.
*Jay whips his head around on a dime and faces everyone with a sheepish look on his face*
Jay: So, here's the thing: A golden rule of mine is trying not to let my chapters go past a certain word limit. If it gets too long, I find that it potentially becomes harder to read, hence why I break things up into smaller chapters. However, it would seem that I forgot to do that with this one and thus lost all the writing for the actual Blood Moon Ball. Now, if you'll excuse me...
*Jay proceeds to get up and walk to a nearby brick wall that magically appears*
Jay: I AM SUCH AN IDIOT!!!!!!
*Jay proceeds to bang his head on said brick wall repeatedly as everyone looks on in concern*
Kermit: So one of us should go make sure he doesn't give himself brain damage, right?
Janna, SN, Omni: Not it!
Kermit: Ah, son of a bitch! I should have seen that coming. But after this, you two are helping me with my reaction to the end of Attack on Titan.
Omni: Wait, that's out today?!? I thought that was next week!
SN: Actually, it came out yesterday. The spoilers are already all over the Internet.
Omni: No, NO! Do not spoil it for me! I gotta get on the Internet and find out what happens before it's too late!
*Omni runs off to find a computer while Kermit and Spongebob Narrator go look after Jay, leaving Janna all alone.*
Janna: Well, this is new. Well, I'm not going to let this opportunity pass me by, and since Jay's busy beating himself up, I'll be subbing in for him this. Now, it's time for me to respond to
READER'S REVIEWS or whatever.
FungusDungus000-Thanks for that, man. I'm sure Jay will appreciate hearing how much you liked the two different plots. And you can thank the Wandering Hippie and his story, Star the Monster Princess, for serving as inspiration for Brittney's redemption arc here.
Oh, and yeah, Godzilla vs. Kong was awesome. Totally worth the wait.
ThDorkMagnet-First off, big fan of Light of the Sun and Stars. I love what you did with me in that story and for giving me a chance to date the Prince of Demons.
And yeah, one of the big points that Jay makes with this story is taking the annoying and useless characters from the show and making them have actual value. In MC's case, his egotistical mannerisms are at more sustainable levels. He's also a mixture of Ponyhead from the show and Dewey Duck from the DuckTales! Reboot. Jay's a big fan of the show. And as you keep reading, you'll learn more about Comet, explaining why MC's so overprotective about him.
Also, I don't get the Gravity Falls joke there. Is it because of the nachos?
Guest 1-His plans? Listen, pal, I've seen the outline for this story, and it's going to take years to finish. You'll be lucky if Jay hasn't sworn off writing fanfics altogether by then.
Guest 2-Wow, you guessed right on Cristina Vee. However, he did also consider Brina Palencia for it. She voices Juvia from Fairy Tail, and she's known for being clingy about the guy she loves. And for being a total yandere to anyone who will get in her way.
The Wandering Hippie-My man! And yeah, you're right about Jeremy being a total creep. Don't quote me on this (or do, I don't care), but I think Jay eventually plans to have him hauled off to boarding school or military school at some point.
And yeah, don't worry about Brittney's redemption arc in this story. Jay has it planned out over dozens of chapters.
Also, congrats about coming back, dude! We can't wait to read the new chapter, and Jay says that he hopes you're doing well.
Guest 3-Yeah, I think Jay said that Olivia Olson would be perfect, too. But we need her golden pipes as Karla, so we got Cristina Vee.
SammieQ-Lake is aware that her husband and son's relationship is strained, but she knows that she's not exactly the best at fixing those kinds of problems. She tries to help when she can, though, but she knows that it's going to be up to the two of them to fix everything. No, there's no distance between Lake and Mune, and Lake doesn't resent her husband at all for it. She understands that he has a lot to do and just tries to support him.
And yeah, I think that Jay is seriously considering having Jeremy either sent to therapy, military school, or juvie. Because this is not normal behavior for a kid, and that's coming from me!
Anyway, you know what to do. Follow the story and check out RJ Writing Ink on social media. Now, if you'll excuse me, I'm going to go make sure our host is still in one piece.
