Harry woke up the next day in a good mood. Today was the day he was going to settle some business, and he was going to read some of his Grimoire, maybe try out some of his family spells too. The three inhabitants of Potter Manor had decided to not have any training today, well not the usual training anyways, as they had a few things to do.
Harry got up, and headed over to his walking wardrobe, and picked out his most formal looking robes he had, they looked very expensive, but they were beginning to get a little short for him, all his clothes were in fact, he had grown so much this summer. He applied a lengthening charm on them, and decided that he would also go shopping for all his school stuff soon, hopefully with all his friends.
Harry made his way downstairs, where he found both Remus and Sirius, the latter in expensive robes, such as himself. However, Remus wasn't in formal wear. He knew why, today was the 13th of August, and it was the full moon, so Remus was extremely tired, and beginning to ache.
"Alright there Moony ?" Harry asked as he sat down.
"Well, I'm not doing great, which given the circumstances, is quite normal, but still, I've been worse." Remus replied with a shrug. Harry knew that he was telling the truth, last month, Remus was barely able to leave his room he was in so much agony, and tomorrow would likely be much of the same, given the fact that it would be the day after the full moon, and all his muscles would feel like they'd been punctured by knives. Harry was glad he didn't have to go through that sort of pain.
"Are you ready for today pup ?" Sirius asked
"As ready as I'll ever be, we just need some good reason for it, and I'm sure Ragnok will have something good up his sleeve." Harry replied. The three of them ate their breakfast, before Harry and Sirius finished getting ready.
"Are you ready pup ?" Sirius asked, receiving a nod in return. Harry and Sirius walked over to the fireplace. Sirius was the first to walk in. He threw his floo powder, shouting 'Ministry of Magic Atrium', the flames turned green, and Sirius disappeared. Harry followed his Godfather, and did the exact same.
After the rather unpleasant travelling, Harry fell on the floor of the black floor belonging to the Atrium. Sirius picked him up, and the two of them waved their wands over themselves, removing the soot on their clothes. The two of them both had their house crests proudly displayed over their heart. People bowed to them as they passed, well at least those who held a position lower than theirs. They passed Lucius Malfoy, who merely sneered at them, and went off in the direction Harry and Sirius were heading. They had heard that the minister was in Malfoy's pocket, so they would have to watch out for that.
The walk to the elevators was done in complete silence from the part of Harry and Sirius. They managed to get an elevator for themselves. As soon as it left, Sirius turned towards Harry.
"Alright, it seems the minister really is in Malfoy's pocket, we'll have to try and find a way to win the minister over. It's a good thing we have Ragnok with us." Sirius said, clearly worried that their plan wasn't going to work.
"Don't worry Padfoot, I'm sure there won't be any problems." Harry replied with more confidence than he felt, he knew that this was solely resting on the goblins shoulders now. Sirius nodded in return, and they resumed their silence, both of them thinking of ways they could overrule Malfoy.
Daphne was currently in her room, finishing off her homework. It had been a couple of weeks since Harry's birthday, but she still couldn't get the feeling out of her stomach she had when she woke up in his arms, and cuddled up to him. She was meant to be the Ice Queen, yet she felt like that persona broke apart around Harry, he made her feel vulnerable, yet so safe. Not vulnerable in a bad sense, but in a way that she could trust him, she could tell him things, and she felt important to him, something she didn't feel very often. She knew she was important to her parents and her sister, but this was a different kind of importance. She felt as if he would protect her no matter what it would cost him, but he didn't show it.
She had been trying to do her homework for the past week, and she had barely advanced, she was always distracted. At that point, there was a knock on the door. "Come in" she said, trying to get her thoughts in line. A couple of seconds later, Astoria pushed the door open.
"Hey, wanna come play chess ?" she asked.
"Sorry Stori, but I've got to finish my homework" Daphne replied, concentrating on her work.
"You still haven't finished ?" Astoria asked, receiving a shake of the head in reply. "Okay, what's bothering you ? It's never taken you so long to do something, even the studies before going to Hogwarts." Daphne knew this to be true, she was the sort of person to finish things quickly, especially if it had something to do with studying something she didn't really like, and right now, she was working on her astronomy, and she hated that, well the stuff she did in class anyway, she enjoyed looking up at the stars.
"Yes," she began, focusing on the subject at hand, "I've got a lot of homework to do." It wasn't exactly true, they hadn't got much at all, it was just the first excuse to come into her head.
"Want any help then ?" Astoria asked. She was much more studious than her sister, she actually enjoyed nearly every subject, the only one she didn't was Herbology, which was the same case for Daphne, but she found it rather amusing this last year. So, she began thinking as to why it was so fun, and her mind created an image of emerald green eyes, so she snapped her head out of focus, and decided to answer the question which had been hanging in the air for a few seconds.
"No, I'll be fine thanks" she replied with a smile. Her sister had a confused look in her face, and she was wondering if it was because of her throwing away offered help, or if it was because she had noticed her head snap out of concentration.
She seemed to shrug it off though, as she soon shrugged her shoulders, "Suit yourself then" was her answer, before she turned around, heading for the door. "Oh, you received a letter earlier."
"Who's it from ?" Daphne asked.
"Dunno, didn't check, but it didn't look formal, so it's not any sort of contract I don't reckon." Astoria responded before leaving the room. Daphne was glad at her answer, she had already received some marriage contracts, but thankfully, her family had stopped them decades ago. She decided that she would finish her homework later, and went downstairs to read the letter.
As she reached the bottom of the stairs, she crossed her father. "Ah Daphne, just who I wanted to see. You received this letter earlier, and I wanted to talk to you about it." He said. At this, Daphne began getting worried, her dad had never wanted to talk to her about her letters from her friends, why now ?
"What is it dad ?" She asked, trying to keep the confusion out of her voice.
"Well you see, during the last war, we remained neutral, which was a very beneficial position for us, as we would have a place no matter which side won. Now, I know that you are young, but you must be careful of whom you are seen with. This letter is from Harry Potter," a smile crept onto Daphne's face at this, "I know that you are friends, but watch out. I know some people believe the Dark Lord to be dead, but if he isn't, you are choosing a side for us, which will put us both in danger, and protect us. And if it is common knowledge that you are friends with the Boy-Who-Lived, that will put us in the spotlight for the Dark Lord, he will know Harry Potter's weaknesses, and he will exploit them. I'm not saying not to be friends with him, I'm just saying to be careful, we live in a dangerous world."
"Don't worry dad, I'll be careful." She replied with a smile to her father. What he had just said gave her a lot to think about. He handed her the letter, and she returned to her room. She sat down on her bed, broke the seal, and read the letter.
Hello Queenie,
I hope you are doing good, I am, although a little tired after all the training, but overall, I'm great. I was just wondering if you wanted to join up on the 17th to go buy our school supplies ? I've already sent letters to Neville, Tracey and Hermione to see if they would come.
I hope you're able to, if not, I'll see you on the 1st, should be a fun year.
See you soon,
Harry Potter
She was happy that Harry wasn't going to distance himself from her because of the party, she knew it would probably be quite awkward the next time they saw each other, but at least their friendship wasn't over. She quickly got up, and wrote an affirmative reply, and sent it off with Hedwig. There was now something to look forward to before heading back to Hogwarts. She could already imagine the smile on her face appearing at the sight if the boy. Her eyes widened at that thought, she didn't know why she thought it, but she needed to stop, she was meant to concentrate on her homework. However, she knew she wouldn't be able to, so just gave up, and decided to go play chess with her sister.
Harry and Sirius were waiting outside the Minister of Magic's office. He was currently busy talking to Lucius Malfoy, probably trying to turn him against the idea of accepting their deal. A few minutes later, the door swung open, and Lucius came out sneering. "The minister will see you now"
Harry and Sirius got up from their seat, and walked in with Lucius. "Ah Lord Black, Lord Potter, good to see you." The minister said in a voice dripping in sarcasm. Obviously, Malfoy's shenanigans had worked, and he was feeling rather unhelpful.
"It's good to see you too Minister. How are you doing ?" Sirius asked, his voice was neutral, something he had told Harry to do, as it is wise to keep ones emotions in check when dealing with business.
"Good I must say, I hope you are also doing well. Now, onto business. What is it you came to talk about ?" The minister asked in a rushed tone.
"Well we have some business to discuss, however, we are still waiting on Ragnok, the Potter and the Black account manager." Harry said. As he said this, a look of absolute disgust crossed Lucius' face, as if even hearing about goblins made him feel queasy.
"Very well, and when is it he'll- " Fudge started, only to be interrupted by a knock on the door. His secretary walked in.
"Excuse me minister, but there is a goblin outside, he claims to have business with you and your clients here" she said
"Yes, let him in." Harry could tell Fudge didn't like the idea of having a goblin in his office. The secretary walked out, and a few seconds later, Ragnok walked in.
"Good to see you minister, Lord Black, Lord Potter, Lord Malfoy" the goblin said, the last name was said with such hatred in his voice, Harry could only guess how the man treated the goblins. Harry knew this to not be very wise, as it was the goblins who held a good portion of his money.
"Right, now that we are all here, I believe we can commence. We have learnt that the 422nd Quidditch World Cup will be happening in England, and we have had an idea." Both Fudge and Malfoy looked confused at this. "If we were to buy a large chunk of land, on which we could build a stadium big enough to hold two hundred thousand people, and a hotel for accommodation, would you be willing to use this stadium, for all the world cups to take place in England ? And if you wish, for any finals of the International Cup too." Sirius suggested.
Fudge's confused look remained on his face. "Why would you want to do this, the stadium itself will cost a fortune to build ?"
"That's the thing, the Ministry would have permission to build on our land, but they cover the costs, we will only build and pay for the hotel, it would save you finding a muggle area big enough, and then applying a bunch of temporary runes, the ones we install would be permanent. It would also prevent every wizarding family of bringing their tents, it would be much simpler." Harry said. There was a calculating look on the minister's and on Lucius' face. The minister looked towards the Malfoy patriarch asking for an answer, but did not receive one.
"So how would this be business for you ?" The minister asked, hoping that his friend would tell him what to do if he gained a bit more time.
"It would be so because, the rooms won't be free, they will be luxurious, yet they won't be expensive. There will be several sizes of rooms, each costing something different on what is in it, and if one so wished, they could buy a room, so that they always have the same room, one which they could decorate to their own accord. Of course, there will always be a top-notch room for the minister at no cost." Ragnok said with a devilish smile, he knew that giving the minister something would just about seal the deal.
The minister's eyes widened immediately, noticing some benefit for himself. This move was very clever of them, as Harry, Sirius and Ragnok all knew that Fudge wouldn't be in office for another mandate. "Very interesting" the minister said. "Well I, for one, think it to be a good idea" he said after not noticing any sort of reaction from Lucius, it seemed he was neutral on the affair, what did it matter to him if the Potters and the Blacks made a bit of money, he would hopefully gain the Black fortune soon anyway, he just needed a way of disposing of Potter, and he had just the way. It seemed he would have to use a book he was given by his old master.
"Brilliant, we will locate an area, and will come see you to see if it fits what you're expecting." Harry replied with a smile. He had done what he had wanted, and now it was only a question of time to build it all.
The whole business was over, and Sirius, Harry and Ragnok were walking out of the Ministry. "That was very well done if I may say so myself" Ragnok said with a grin. "Now, not to be rude, but I do have some business to attend to. But first of all, do you have any new business ideas ?" He asked, looking at the two of them. The two of them shook their heads. "Very well, good day to the both of you."
Harry and Sirius had returned to Potter Manor, and Remus was waiting for the two of them. They quickly went over the things that had happened, and then, they went back to the Vault. Harry opened the Grimoire, and on the first page, there was a family tree. He discovered that most of the rest of the Potter lines died out around the same time, around the second world war.
On the second page, was when things became very interesting. It explained exactly how to tap into the wards around the house, so that he would be able to feel when they were under attack, weak, or even if there was an owl passing through. He would have to do that later on. All he had to do, was find the ward stone, which was located in the basement, connect to it through his magic, drop 3 drops of blood on it, confirming him to be a Potter, and he would have control of them.
The next few pages were about his family history. He didn't read it however, he decided he would just go over the spells today. After that, was the non-Gringotts business ventures. He would also look into that later on, he turned a few pages, and found the family spells.
Family spells are all non-verbal, so that other people can not learn them. It requires a lot of training, but it becomes a great advantage in a battle if you use a spell they are not familiar with. That was written at the top of the first page of family spells. The first spell Harry came across was a spell which would produce purple fog. He decided to try it out. He thought of the spell he wanted to use, and in his mind, he said 'Purpura Nebula'. A thick purple smoke erupted from his wand, and covered the whole room. It stopped concentrating on the spell at hand, and the smoke disappeared. He was actually surprised that he had managed that spell on his first try. He knew Voldemort couldn't have learnt it, unless someone had taught it to him, but that would have surprised Harry given the fact that neither his parents, nor his grandparents would have helped Voldemort.
He looked at a few more spells, but he didn't try anymore of them, right now, he needed a small nap.
A/N: Thank you for your reviews, I appreciate them all.

I know some of you don't really like the fact that I made the goblins nice, but I don't see a reason for them being disrespectful towards someone who shows them nothing but respect.
What I mean by I won't be making Harry too powerful, is that he won't be able to fuck up Voldemort by snapping his fingers. He will be made his equal eventually, but I have a few things in store which will make him improve immensely.
