A/N: Hello everyone, I am back with chapter thirty of this story. Here, our three need to escape Terracotta Town and just wait until the end.

Disclaimer: I don't own Pokemon

The cabbie swung by the Pokemon Center allowing the trio to pick up their things without their disguises anymore. Most important, they were able to pick up their Pokemon. The cabbie brought them to the port and dropped them off. It did cost a bit more money.

"Well, that cost a bit more change." sighed James.

"Where do these boats go?" asked Jessie.

"Slateport City." answered James.

"There's worse places to settle." shrugged Meowth.

"At least we'll be away from Team Rocket." sighed Jessie.

James stopped in place.

"I don't think so." said James.

Jessie and Meowth stopped and turned to James.

"Look over there." whispered James.

James directed Jessie and Meowth to a pair of sailors on the shore.

"So?" asked Meowth.

"They're Rockets. I recognize them form HQ." answered Jessie.

"Just our luck." sighed James.

"What do we do?" asked Meowth worried.

"We'll have to get another boat." answered Jessie annoyed.

"I grabbed a schedule." noted James.

James checked over the schedule.

"Well Porta Vista is no go." noted James.

James continued looking over the schedule.

"A boat to Vermilion is next." said James.

"We're trying to leave Kanto." replied Meowth.

James looked over the schedule more.

"Olivine City." proposed James.

"That works." muttered Jessie.

The three bought their tickets and headed for the boat.

"Hopefully this will be the end of things." sighed Jessie.

"I'm sure it will be." replied Meowth.

The trio began headed to the bat.

"Hopefully this will end this." said James.

James looked up and saw the captain on the deck.

"Oh damn." groaned James.

Jessie and Meowth spotted the captain.

"That's Pierce." gasped Meowth.

"Of course, there'd another Rocket." said Jessie upset.

"We should don our disguises again." proposed James.

"Agreed." said Meowth.

"Yeah." agreed Jessie.

The three slipped away and returned with the disguises that they used to trick Domino.

"Do you think these will really work?" asked Meowth.

"They tricked Domino." answered James.

They began heading up the plank.

"It'll work." said James.

They reached the dock.

"Keep going." said James.

The three heard a man clearing his throat.

"Hello." said Pierce.

"Hello deary." said Jessie.

"Are you on a holiday?" asked Pierce.

"We're totally headed home to Olivine." answered James.

James let out a fake laugh.

"Have a good trip." said Pierce.

Pierce smirked and walked away.

"He knows." said Meowth.

"This was a mistake." replied James.

"How?" asked Jessie annoyed.

"Give me a minute." answered James.

"You could come up with an idea." mused Meowth.

"Maybe you two could contribute for once!" snapped Jessie.

"We've being do a lot." noted James.

"Fine." groaned Jessie.

"We need a distraction." said James.

"We just did that." stated Jessie.

"It worked once; it can work again." said Meowth.

"So, what do we do?" asked Jessie.

The three spotted Pierce talking with the two Rocket grunts from earlier.

"What do you think they're talking about?" asked James.

"I think you know." answered Jessie annoyed.

Jessie rubbed her temples.

"Just give me a second." said Jessie.

Jessie came up with an idea.

"Excuse an old lady, but I need to use the restroom .

Jessie slipped inside the boat pretending to look for the bathroom.

"This will work." said Jessie.

Jessie sent Seviper out.

"Use Haze." ordered Jessie.

Seviper obeyed and used Haze.

"Fire!" cried Jessie.

Everyone mistook the Haze for smoke and piled off the ship. The three slipped to the ticket booth.

"I want to exchange these." said Jessie.

"The Slateport boat is taken, but you can take the Vermilion ship." said the woman.

Due to the "fire", the Olivine ship was delayed. This led to the Slateport bound ship coming up next followed by the Vermilion bound ship. Jessie, James and Meowth slipped aboard the Vermilion bound ship and it left without them being spotted. Pierce angrily chewed out the two grunts before Domino stormed over to him.

"What happened?!" asked Domino furiously.

"Those idiots managed to sneak away." answered Pierce.

"How?!" asked Domino.

"They tricked the idiots the staff." answered Pierce.

"Morons are easy to trick." muttered Domino.

Pierce didn't like how Domino's eyes seemed to land on him.

"You better not be implying what I think you are." said Pierce.

"They did escape you." noted Domino.

"And they never tricked you?" asked Pierce angrily.

"Of course not." answered Domino lying.

Pierce was skeptical.

"Look, we need to focus." stated Domino.

"So, what do you purpose we do?" asked Pierce.

"We need to find out where they went." answered Domino.

A man cleared his throat.

"I think I can help." said Tyson.

"What have you got?" asked Domino.

"I spotted an old woman, a ditzy girl and their Sunflora exchange ticked for this ship for the Vermilion ship that just left." explained Tyson.

"Well, we know where they're going." said Pierce.

"I'll let the Boss know." said Domino.

"We will." stated Pierce.

"Are you afraid I'll bad mouth you?" asked Domino.

"Call it being cautious." answered Pierce.

"Same." agreed Tyson.

"Ungrateful bastards." thought Domino annoyed.

The trip to Vermilion was long and silent. Jessie, James and Meowth were exhausted from running away. Jessie napped with her head on James' shoulder. They arrived in Vermilion and James woke Jessie. The trio departed at Vermilion Port and grabbed their belongings. They went to the Pokemon Center and now had to figure out what do next.

"So, where do we go from here?" asked James.

"Saffron City is right to the north." answered Jessie.

"And Celadon City to the right." added Jessie.

"We've been over this." moaned Jessie.

"Unfortunately, I doubt we can stay here." sighed Meowth.

"We'll keep running forever and ever." said James.

"And they might follow us to another region." groaned Jessie.

"Now what?" asked Meowth.

"We might have to run forever." answered James sadly.

"Look, we can't keep doing that." stated Jessie.

Jessie felt stomach pain.

"Are you okay?" asked James worried.

"This stress is getting to me." answered Jessie.

"We have to figure something out." sighed James.

"If we turn ourselves then, they'll kill us." said Meowth.

"Well, we can't keep running either." noted James.

"We need to do something!" snapped Jessie.

Everyone looked at them.

"Please keep it down." requested Nurse Joy annoyed.

The three noticed the unhappy stares.

"Sorry." replied James.

"Thank you." replied Nurse Joy.

Everyone turned their attention away.

Jessie rubbed her temples.

"I can't keep doing this." said Jessie.

"Neither can we." said Meowth.

"Jessie...we can't do this alone." said James.

James let out a sigh.

Jessie raised her eyebrow in surprise.

"Jimmy might have a point." shrugged Meowth.

"I have no family and your family sucks." noted Jessie.

"We have to do something." said James.

"Are you suggesting what I think you are?" asked Jessie suspiciously.

"I don't know..." began James.

"Are you suggesting we go to the cops?" asked Jessie.

"We might have to." answered James.

"No! Absolutely not!" declared Jessie.

"You know, James might have a point." said Meowth.

"Et tu, Meowth?" asked Jessie.

"Before I wouldn't have, but after everything that's happened, we might want to." answered Meowth sheepishly.

"Never!" cried Jessie.

"There's no way we can do this alone." sighed James.

"We've been fine with just the three of us." said Jessie.

Jessie looked down and noticed her Poke Balls.

"With our Pokemon of course." added Jessie.

"It's okay to ask for help." stated James.

Jessie crossed her arms.

"I said no." huffed Jessie.

"It's not like there's anyone else we know." said James.

The three had the same idea.

"No way!" screamed Jessie.

"You don't want go to the cops." said James.

Jessie groaned.

"Fine." relented Jessie.

In Pallet Town, things were going fine. Ash Ketchum had spent the previous day training with all his Pokemon. This morning, Ash and his partner Pikachu came down for breakfast before they did the same. Delia had made pancakes which Mimey served to Ash and Pikachu. The four all sat down and ate.

"These are delicious." said Ash.

"Yeah!" agreed Pikachu.

"Thanks, you two." replied Delia.

Ash had a huge bite of food.

"Are you doing anything important today?" asked Delia.

"More training." answered Ash.

"Is Misty coming by?" asked Delia.

"She's busy with gym leader duties." answered Ash.

"Oh, that's too bad." replied Delia.

A knock came on the door.

"I'll answer it." said Mimey.

Mimey got up and answered the door.

"You guys needs to come here!" called Mimey.

Ash, Pikachu and Delia got up. They were stunned by who was there.

"Hello." said James sheepishly.

A/N: That's where we'll end things. If you've been waiting for Ash to show up, he's finally here. Being hunted down has forced Jessie, James and Meowth to seek help from the person they chased for years. But, will Ash help them? next time, our trio please their case to Ash. Please review.
