A/N: since I think that I was grasping at straws on Game of Life, I decided to document the supposed events that can support this pairing.
Chapter 3: Life with you, but without you [part 9]
"But Captain Kuchiki!" Ukitake started to complain at his former students' order.
That Rukia Kuchiki must never be given a rank, and shall only be assigned to few group missions outside of Seiretie, and remain most of the time in the barracks training with the cadets.
"My family members are my concern. And I have spoken with the head captain. He had agreed. I recommend that you follow through Ukitake taicho" Byakuya said in a cold and commanding voice.
For he will go to great lengths to protect her.
Not to mention the many secret ops he had assigned for her security. The ones who supplied him with every detail and update of Rukia's day to day activities.
Including her secret trips to 73rd of Rukongai.
To say he was angered at not being personally informed, was an exaggeration.
For he had decided to follow her on her trip. Of course without her knowledge.
And look who he had seen lurking behind her…
The red headed rogue.
But luckily for him, he did not approach her, or else he will personally define their difference in status.
For he is just a monkey, looking up at the moon.
They don't belong…
He will not allow it.
If she's not going to be his anyway, he will make sure that she ended up with someone powerful, wealthy, and wise.
Someone like him.

And because of that, Byakuya felt like brutally murdering someone.
