When Zeus and Poseidon were before him Naruto had wondered just how powerful the two truly were. Yes there were of the frist of the six gods of Olympus, but they were the youngest of the siblings. They were the most free-spirited and changeable, and clashed more often than they did with their wives. Also they had wickedly awesome facial hair that Naruto wondered if they we're the reason behind the recent trend of beard shaping competitions.
The stories only told so much about their fighting skills. While Poseidon to Naruto was considered stronger in physical strength and unpredictable, however got lost in details. He was the last of the children of Kronos to be eaten and was effected the least in the stomach of said titan, so the sea god knew better than Zues the price of weakness. That's why the god often clashed with his brother in the eyes of Naruto, Poseidon didn't want what happened at the beginning of his life to occur again.
Zues was more of a spontaneous planner who used his instincts, wit and cunning to make up for his short comings. The sky god's children from Athena to Dionysus pointed that behind the playboy and stubborn exterior hid Zues's mental strength as it was like the sky with no limit. He couldn't have stayed hidden from their father without constantly hiding who he was. Being a jester ment that the young godling had to constantly refined and hone his power into tightly controlled bursts, possibly why lighting fix so well with him
Now though as Naruto stared at the sight before him he could imagine how powerful they were. Carlson and Lily fought the titan with power, skill and grace born from decades of honing their craft as demigods. The children of the brothers worked as a unit, no words exchanged for they knew how the other operated.
"This is incredible." Naruto whispered as Lily surfed an a small lake she had created with the rain Carlson summoned, blasting Lelantos with massive streams of water that her husband electrified as he slid on top of them, using the streams of pressurized water as stepping stones to get in close to slice the immortal. Lelantos, annoyed shot at the demigod who to Naruto's shock, exploded in a blast of air, sending an icy-electric shrapnel into multiple directions that lacerated the titan who roared as ichor bled. The ones sent towards Lily were redirected away from her as Carlson reappeared from under the water, spinning up and blocking an arrow aimed at Lily with a lighting covered kick.
Nodding in thanks Lily twitched her land in Carlson's directions, sending small glob of water to attach itself to his leg. Naruto and Kyuubi watched in fascination as the cut that was caused by the arrow faded away as if it was never there. The titan also saw this and frowned.
"So," He slowly said as he took pot shots at his opponents as he ducked ans weaved between blasts of lightning and pressurized water. "Your able to use your hydro-vitakinesis on others like your father. At least, minor injuries. How about major?"
Lily's eyes widened as instead of arrows or a push from divine power something else hot her from behind. Skipping across the surface of the water, Lily flipped to her feet to look for whatever hit her. The attack on Lelantos had just for a moment slacked, allowing the immortal to score few hits on the son of Jupiter that only lead to the shattering of his sword to less than half it's length.
"Switch!" They yelled as one as they traded places. Lily charged at the titan as she seemed to surf or ski across the water moving at speeds close to a galloping horse, her shield in front and her trident behind. As for Carlson he jumped/flew to where his wife was, his sword now glowing yellowish white as he channeled and contained lighting where the metal of his sword ended to be a replacement.
All of a sudden he jerked to the lifted and swung his blade at seemingly nothing to Naruto. The young demigod watched the veteran trying to understand why Carlson was swinging and ducking from nothing with his eyes closed.
'What would he be fighting with his eyes closed?' Naruto tried to think why would the old man do so.
"Perhaps we should escape from here Naruto." Kyuubi noted as Lelantos roared as Lily stabbed his foot and twisted. "They won't last forever and that Lelantos fellow will come after us as soon as their are spent. Even with their heritage they can't fight something that they can't see."
'Titan of the air, the unseen and of the stalking of prey. He said that before the fight started. So far he's been fighting with his bow but arrows can be seen.'
Lily grunted as the titan switched out his bow for a short sword and dagger, causing her to nearly lose her weapon from a cheap faint that if she was years younger could have been avoided. If it wasn't for her condition and age this fight would have been over minutes ago.
'I have gotten old.' She thought with a mental laugh as she used her water control to manipulate her own flesh to get some strength into her old bones and muscles. While her gear was a welcoming familiar ache, she wasn't the gal of her prime anymore. She could tell the titan wasn't taking her or her husband seriously the matter if the fight wasn't going in his favor. He was immortal and didn't have the weakness of the flesh she and Carlson had.
"I don't suppose you want to surrender?" She sharked at Lelantos as she pulled up a wall of water and froze it, trapping his right-side and weapon.
The ice shattering as Lelantos twisted his limb. "Funny, I was going to ask you the same. Clearly you both have skill but I thought you old timers liked quet nights in and bingo."
"Bingo we stopped doing as the fates cheat!" Shouted Carlson as he preformed a complex action with his body that won't look out of place at a break dancing competition. A screech filled the air before golden dust exploded where his sword swung seconds ago. "Ah there. Using your powers to turn hellhounds invisible is so not cool! Cogitare de aliqua, aut est originale magis est in senectute Titan exitus vobis?"
"Honey, I do love it when you speak foreign." Lily's voice was sweet and flirtatious as she through her shield into the face of Lelantos who squawked in dignity as she then punched him between the legs. She then followed through with her actions by using her weapon as a pole to spin around and kick his face then slam a slab of earth on top of the titan's head. "But please, English?"
"Fine." Grumbling he raised his lefthand and sent a stream of lighting that snaked around the battlefield, striking at the shadows and midair. Howls from hellhounds filled the sky as they flickered in and out of existence from the electricity before bursting into dust. "I hate these dogs. Last dog we owned ate my slippers from Mercy."
"That was a regular hound Carl."
"Their name has hound." Twirling his blade he sent a massive bolt of lighting at his wife. "But o' Legion was a nice one."
"Yes dear." Lelantos rose from the muddy ground with rage in his eyes. Only for his head to be greeted with Gaia/Terra once more as Lily's trident swung downwards having caught the lighting bolt. He screamed as the electrified metal dugged into his shoulder blades.
"Enough!" Naruto watched as the titan roared before reaching up and grabbed Lily by the throat. Standing his full height he slammed her once, twice, thrice against the ground before throwing her at Carlson. "You two are being to annoy me. I haven't yet decided what method I should kill you with but now I know it must be slow and painful so your fathers' can hear your screams from their thrones! Then I'll use your skins and skull for banners as our army destroys Olympus!"
Dashing forward the titan kicked Carlson in the chest making his old armor shattering from the blow. Blood and bile erupted from the demigods mouth as pain flared from the impact area. The titan's form blurred in a brust of speed before appearing behind Carlson with an ax kick to his spine while a drawn bow launched a sees of arrows at the recovered daughter of the sea. Lily jumped backwards and into a roll to avoid the but several did strike her and the shafts snaped as she rolled. Crying out she summoned more water to attempt to recuperate from the assult.
"Kyuubi we need to help them!" Naruto yelled at his friend as he prepared to charge in to save the duo. However Kyuubi's tails surrounded him and Naruto found himself being raced away. "Kyuubi!"
'Sorry Naruto but this fight is beyond you.' The fox could tell this fight was ending and the old couple weren't going to keep the titan's attention for much longer. Hearing yips he looked over to his right to see the vixen he met. The cadmean vixen looked at Naruto and him before pointing in the direction of a well.
She broke into a run with him following. Foxes had to stay together and the two legged smelly ape that was called Naruto was only lucky he was with Kyuubi. If the demigod was alone she wouldn't help out but she was in a good mood after meeting Kurama. Also sending the hunters into a briar patch slash poison ivy undergrowth where said hunters scared a family of skunks had nothing to do with her gleeful mood. Well maybe a little along with those excellent sausages and a little redecorating in their laundry.
Bright pink with glitter on everything with little hats. They were like elves in that Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer movie so they should look the part. Also stole their tomato supply to make sure they smelt like the failures of hunters they were. They would suffer and Artemis, already upset with the pranks on her, would believe it was her brother again but also with the aid of the goddess of love. An burnt signature on a receipt between the two would be enough to implicate them to Artemis, considering how upset she was from the series of pranks in own tent.
The tow fox's leapt into the air as several arrows appeared in front of them. The titan wasn't going to sit back and let them escape with the jar after all. Naruto squealed though the tail gag as Lelantos was following on the hood of an old jeep with a cyclops driving. Two more pickup trucks were also following behind, each with their own cyclops driver and another operating mounted repeating ballista. The one on the right began to fired sending it's cargo of explosive celestial bronze bolts at the two Foxes.
"Dam it kit! This is why we should have escaped sooner!" Kyuubi yelled as he zipped and ducked under derbis being launched into the air. He could hear the titan yelling at the drivers to go faster and the one called Bruce to use a grappling hook, not the exploding bolts. 'The author must be running out of ideas as this feels rather weak. Where's the old couple and the Percy Jackson interlog where we need it? Oh there it is.'

'Curse you author! You were supposed to give us a break! No don't give me that irritated look! Your the one who hasn't updated this in months because of so called writers block. No, here's what your gonna write or say to the knes listening--'

'No no no! You weren't supposed to blink it out what my idea was! The readers would love it!'

'It's a great plan. I made it and Ares himself would agree. What are you chicken?'

'Ok look, buddy, readers have been waiting for this chapter for months and they want something that makes it all worth it. Throw me a solid and skip over this chase scene. just have us come to the end and you can restart your work when Naruto arrives safely at camp. Please! My fur is getting all ruined! And also-' "Naruto!"
"Let me go!" Naruto yelled as Lelantos held him in the air. He thrashed in the grip on the titan as the driver turned to let his master escape with his prize. Lelantos had to hand it to the boy, running away with the jar and stuffed animal. How he ran away while tangled in the meticulously numbered tails was a mystery for another time.
"Now then child, I'll take that."
"No!" Naruto yelled as the titan attempted to take the jar from him. Opening his mouth as wide as he could Naruto bit the titan's hand.
"Why you little! Let go!" Lelantos began to shake his hand like a cartoon character as Naruto refused to let go like a dog to a bone. Naruto was even growling like a dog as he tightened his bite on the titan, having the golden ichor enter his mouth as he refused to let the titan go or the jar.
As for the other two vehicles one was a smoldering crater and the other was being driven by Lily as her husband Carlson laughter filled the air as he fired lighting at the wheels of Lelantos' jeep.
And now readers I'll leave it here. Kyuubi is right I should skip over what happens next. As a consolation for skipping I give the god of war as he's singing opera.
Ares: "Tra-la-la-laaaaa! The singer's arrived and everyone rejoices. I see it in their faces and hear it in their voices. Every singer needs a song and every song a chorus, I'll sing your death 'til my last day as long as you don't bore us. You may have heard the one like me, he prances and dances and sings with glee. Wherever there's strife the singer is there, he slaughters and slays with such merry flare. I sing the song all my breath -- take heed -- for this interlude ends with your death! The singer must settle this dispute, his insults you will not refute, but by your looks you do not care, so in this slaughter you will share!"
Ladies and Gentlemen, Ares. And now I must confess, I need to run with all my breath. This lord of war, ever so thrilling, really wants to kill me! His domain might be fighting so Apollo willing Ares don't smite me. While I'll love to sing a verse, it's time to see the son of seas!
Percy Jackson blinked as an odd sensation fell over him. "What was that?"
"Don't play stupid boy!" Hylla yelled from ontop of the pillar of ice that had pressed her against the ceiling. "That was you and wining my fart does not count!"
"I said I was sorry!" 'Maybe I'll hold off on those enchiladas and soda. P-U!'
Percy winced as he looked around. The once tidy and organized room looked like a storm had decided to visit. Papers where everywhere and there was a fire in the shelves on the western wall. Hylla's ice pillar was in the south eastern corner and Percy was in what was one the pool of water. Stepping out his foot bumped something partly hidden by the tiles of the ceiling where Hylla was trapped.
'What's this? The book of vague and possibly incorrect prophecies that Apollo did while drunk. Ok, then.' He thought as he flipped through the book that the girl had in the middle of their fight saved from the flames.
While most of the papers were ruin one page was in better condition than the others. In fact, Iistead of burning that one black sheet of paper was glowing. Slowing words formed on the page shimmering like the inferno around him. At frust he didn't understand the words before it clicked in him that they were in a form of Latin. However a drop of his blood by chance hit the paper altering the words.
Hush now child of queens
The ministerial twin is now unseen
Must choose the path, to live or die
Death must be satisfied
Chose the titan to be trapped
But be forwarned before you act
Not is all as it seems and you will see
The fate of all kings
"Ok, that's creepy." Percy tucked the page into his pocket for later. Maybe Chiron would know what to do with it or perhaps he'll give it to Apollo. Either way something told Percy this wasn't something to keep for himself.
"You know you should really pay closer attention to your surroundings." Eyes widening Percy turned around, Riptide raised to attack. Only for Hylla to knock it out of his hand and trip him. Percy landed with a thud on the broken and shattered tile floor and let out an oof as Hylla pinned him.
"You should have been trapped!" He gasped out as he tried to wiggle his way free.
"Illusion magic dud. I am a magic user dumbass." Hylla taunted as she tightened her grip on hiss, forcing them above his head. Saying a quick spell the stone morphed into chuffd that trapped the demigod's hands there. "And now you're my prisoner until my lady deals with the mess you've made."
"I've made!?! Your the one who started this with your magic and-" Hylla, having collected Riptide placed the bronze tip in Percy's mouth.
"Shut it. You weren't ment to be in here and your also a pervert and a creep like all men are! Pigs are disgusting and filth that need to be shown their place in the world." She paused and Percy paled as she wiggled her rear, eyes narrowing.
'I'm so dead.' Percy thought as his life began to flash before his eyes.
"Oh this won't do." A feminine voice said before the scent of roses filled the air. Hylla blinked before lowering her blade. Percy was now confused and concerned about his future in the next few seconds as it seemed Hylla was having a mental conversion with someone.
"Um...?" Was all he could make out before Hylla leaned over and kissed his cheek.
"It looks like it's your lucky day." She said, standing up with riptide leaning against her shoulder. She then began to walk away and Percy's jaw, lowered in shock from the kiss, fell further as she walked away with HIS weapon. "See you around tiger."
"What in the name of Hades!" Percy yelled as this... this girl took riptide and gave him a kiss for it! What kind of a deal was that!?!"
"The best kind."
Percy looked with what limited range of motion his current position allowed. "Who's there?"
"Oh, I'm not there currently little boy. I've just taken an interest in your current situation. It was rather kinky but her fate isn't to end yours. No, considering that her mother wants her to leave the spa with her sister I must confess this is far better that what she had in mind. The drama, the suspense!"
"Glad to be of help?" Percy wondered if he was dreaming this entire day. Or week.
"Oh no, thank you. This is going to be the next best tragic in decades. Oh yes, you must continue your quest so I'll free you and give you this."
The stone mantles disintegrated around Percy's wrists and a piece of paper floated from above. Grabbing it Percy attention was drawn to the strange symbols that covered the front.
"Um thank you Aphrodite?" Percy said as his ADHD mind tried to understand what was there.
"Oh! I'm not her. You may call me Ms. V." The voice said in a hush. "I work a different department than her. She's not very dignified or classy if you understand me."
The smell of roses disappeared from the room and once more Percy could smell ash and smoke from the fire.
"I wonder what that means?" Percy said as he slipped the new piece of paper into his pocket as the room burned down around him. Touching his cheek Percy blushed at the feeling of Hylla's lips on his face. 'So soft. And why do I get the feeling Annabeth is going to kill me and Aphrodite is having the best day ever?'
The sound of fighting broke Percy from his thoughts as he felt the building shake from impact. Now Percy was more concerned about the immediate now of survival and finding his companions and escaping this island before something else happened.
