Chapter Thirty
The One True Target
A/N: WARNING-The character known as Sage Amesawa uses a lot of profanity and colorful language as part of his "colorful" personality. Be prepared if you are sensitive to that. Please note it is not because I condone such manner of speech, and also the character does not mean to use it as a way to be harmful, it is just his personality.
"Slow DOWN Saseme!" Hana huffed,"Where are we even GOING anyway!?"
"If I had to guess..." Sage muttered,"I'd say she's going to find Sasuke."
"What!?" Hana blinked,"Why!? Incase you forgot, we're in the middle of an exam!"
"So the two of you can go off ahead in search of a Heaven Scroll then!" Saseme huffed.
"Believe me-I would if I could!" hana huffed,"But considering how you just had yt handed to you by a psycho ninja, you're stupid if you think we're gonnalet you run around alone!" said Hana.
"Besides...even if we did go off without you,"said Sage,"We can't go to the goal line without you with us or it doesn't count as a pass!" he blinked,"We're better off together Saseme! Just tslk to us...what's going on!?"
Saseme remained in her silence. A cold sweat trickling down her as she pushed herself to move faster.
"Wait...Didn't that chick say something about Sasuke's group having a Heaven Scroll anyway?" asked Hana.
"There's no way to know for sure who has what scroll." said Sage,"But it's possible, why?"
"Well say he does have one." she said "Should we just take his!?"
"Do as you see fit." said Saseme,"That's not what's on my mind right now!"
Poor Saseme...
Sage thought to himself.
That Psycho bitch said something about Sasuke didn't she?
He blinked.
She's probably going after Sasuke...And though Saseme won't say it out loud...She's probably really worried about him.
He sighed.
Maybe what she says about him is true, and Sasuke wouldn't hesitate to take our scroll if he needed it...but...
He blinked.
If what happened to the Uchiha clan is true...then...Saseme has lost a lot already.
He blinked.
Even if they are on bad terms...she probably isn't ready to lose him too...that must be why we're looking for him now...
Isn't it Saseme?
Sage sighed.
You dumb bitch...just say you're troubled. Tell us know you're worried about him...it's not like you could be blamed for it...
In the end...he is still your family. Your damaged pride and ego is nothing compared to the thought of losing him...don't you think?
Saseme gritted her teeth.
Sasuke...
She thought to herself as she pushed off harder.
Please...let me get there in time!

"Ahhh! What the heck was that!?" Naruto huffed as he slid across the dirt floor, "You could have killed me!"
"Trouble ahead!" said Sage as he stopped and pulled both girls back. They watched from a distance in the trees. Sasuke seems to have attacked Naruto.
"What gives?" Hana wondered, "I thought they were team mates."
"Something's not right about that Naruto..." Saseme said in a low tone, "Get down!" she hissed while they all ducked in the coverage of the tree leaves's natural camoflauge.
THAT Naruto?
Hana blinked curioussly.
As if there's more than one Naruto...
She sighed.
She was in such a hurry to find her brother before that weird snake witch lady did...
Now that we've found him...she wants to hide?
She huffed.
What's going on!?
"I gotta admit...you're better than the last one." said Sasuke as he stepped closer to the dirty blond dressed in the forest's floor.
"All right, Party's over!" Sasuke huffed, "Who are you!?"
"Hmmm..." Naruto hummed and his lips curled into a sinister smirk, with a chuckle to match as a long slimy tongue lipped slowly across his lips, from which...a familiar voice sounded from...
"Aren't we the clever one...?"
"It's her!" Saseme gasped as she tried to shoot up during the smoke of the canceled out transformation.
"Saseme, you crazy bitch, get down!" Sage huffed, "We nearly had our asses handed to us last time we charged in on her like that, don't you remember!?"
"Sage is right!" hissed Hana, "We need a different tactic this time if we want a hope's chance in hell, do you understand!?"
Reluctant to obey, she knew her team mates were right. She clicked her tongue and ducked down again, nervous eyes trembling as they watched her brother, speaking to this...creature of a woman.
"You certainly haven't dropped your guard, have you?" the woman chuckled as she slid her tongue slowly across her lips "This promises to be very entertaining~"
"Eeeeew..." Hana shivered, "Talk about a new definition of creepy..."
"Tell me about it..." Sage gulped nervously, "If looked up the term I bet that bitch's photo would be framed in gold!"
The woman slowly moved her arm to retrieve the scroll from her holster...
One that caught Sakura's attention as she stood at a distance from the alert Sasuke.
"Ahhh~" the woman teetered, "You'd love to get your hands on Our Earth Scroll, wouldn't you?" she chuckled, "It would pair up so nicely with your Heaven Scroll..."
Hana and Sage gasped.
"So they really do have the Heaven Scroll!" said Hana, "Maybe we should try to take it too, then-"
"Certainly not at this current moment!" said Sage, "How abour we handle the threat at hand?" he asked, "We can worry about the details of who's taking who's scroll afterwards..." his blue green eyes narrowed and rested on a tensed up Saseme Uchiha, who had just watched this woman swallow the whole, the scroll she once held in her hand.
"Well...when this is all over...one of us will have both scrolls...and the other...will be dead."
