Iceberg was aiming a pistol at Hiccup, demanding him to see Heather once again, but of course, I was impossible at the moment.

"I'll say it once again, let me see Heather Owson," Iceberg demanded.

"Sorry, that's not possible," said Hiccup. "We have no idea where she is."

Then there was the sound of a gunshot, and all the shipwrights in the building could hear it.

"Gunfire! It came from the bedroom!"

Without hesitation, they all rushed towards the bedroom and stormed in.

"Iceberg, we heard a—"

They stopped when they saw that Iceberg laying down on his bed with Kala by his side holding a pistol, and there was no sign of Hiccup, but the window was wide open.

"Are you okay?"

"Yes," said Iceberg. "I had hoped to come closer to the truth, but that foolish hope has been in vain. Arrest all the Dragon Riders Pirates."

"Yes, sir!"

Hiccup had returned to Astrid, who had been waiting on him on the rooftop.

"Were you able to speak with Iceberg?" Astrid asked. "What did he say? Is it true?"

"Yeah, he said it was Heather, no doubt, and he had no reason to lie," said Hiccup regretfully.

"I don't believe it; why would—why would she do something like that?"

Hiccup looked at her. "There's only one way to find out."

Meanwhile, Coco and Chimney had arrived at the station to Water 7.

"We're here, we're here!" Chimney cried excitedly. "Come on, granny, hurry! Hurry!

"Calm down, get a hold of yourself," said Coco as she stepped off the coach. "Water 7, it's been a while."

"Granny, hurry!" Chimney yelled impatiently.

"Okay, okay," she said.

"Attention all passengers, wearing a mask on the Sea Train today is strictly prohibited," said a conductor.

Coco was wondering what all the fuss was about and looked at a nearby conductor. "Hey, you!

"Oh, Miss Coco, so nice to see you again," he said.

"What's going on here? Problem?"

"Yes, ma'am, everyone is on the lookout for the Dragon Riders Pirates. The culprit on the attempted assassination of Iceberg."

"Iceberg's assassins?" said Coco as the conductor handed her the newspaper.

"What is a granny?" Chimney asked, looking over her shoulder.

It was then that they recognise the pictures of Hiccup and Astrid on the newspaper.

"Hey, wait a minute," she said.

Hiccup was in his hybrid form, carrying Astrid bridal style once again, making their way down to the lower levels. Once they reach the top of the building, Hiccup put her down.

"Here we are safe and sound," he said.

"Certainly faster than taking the elevator," said Astrid blushing slightly. "Though did you really had to hold me back close?"

"I didn't want to drop you," said Hiccup. "Besides, it's not as if we could use the elevator, not with the entire town hunting is down."

"Well, at least we're safe now," said Astrid.

Hiccup looked at the clouds frowned. "I wouldn't be too sure that."

Astrid slowly looked at him. "What now?"

"The wind is getting stronger, and I don't like the look at those clouds," said Hiccup. "We'll have to have Fishlegs confirm, but I fear that the storm is coming a very big one."

"How big?" Astrid asked.

Hiccup looked to the city. "This it is called the City of Water, meaning that its greatest weakness would have to be flooding."

"Are you saying the entire town is going to be underwater?" Astrid stared.

"As I said, have to talk to Fishlegs, but right now, we should head right back to the inn for the time being."

Eret, meanwhile, had reached a bar called Burl's Bar, and everyone immediately went quiet the moment he entered. He then began making his way to the bar where the bartender Burl, who was a muscular man and had a face that resembled a bull.

"Hey there," he said. "Welcome. How are you?"

"How's everything going, Burl?" Eret smiled.

"I'm doing good," he said as he cleaned a glass.

"I'll be taking the usual," he said, opening his chest revealing a storage compartment filled with three empty bottles. "Fill her up, please."

"You got any money?"

"Just fill them up, will you, Cola!" said Eret impatiently. "You think you're running an establishment here with a greedy notion of taking money from your customers."

"We do have a little money," said Kalena

"About 1 million Gil left from our shopping spree," said Kaley.

"What?" he said, staring at the two of them. "We have that much left? How disgraceful to think that I didn't spend it all in one night. Give me that!" He then grabbed the notes, stood on the table then tossed them out to everyone in the bar. "Listen up, this is your lucky day, customers! All your drinks on me now, back up as much booze as you like! Compliments to me, your pal, Eret."

Everyone then immediately cheered as they began grabbing the notes.

"That's our Eret! You're the best!"

"The face of Water 7's underworld! What a guy!"

Eret then sat down at the bar. "So Burl, where's my Cola? Come on, hurry it up already!"

"Looks like business has been good for you, Eret," said Coco, who was sitting right next to him.

"Old hag, Coco?" Eret stared.

"Granny, is it okay for me to get a refill on my juice then?" Chimney asked, peering over her shoulder.

"Hey, kid, this is a bar," said Eret looking at her. "It's no place for a little shrimps like you."

"Business has been good, right?" Coco repeated.

Eret sighed. "Fine whatever, suit yourself."

"Hurray juice!" Chimney cheered.

Eret then looked back at Coco. "Yeah, business has been outstanding, but I feel terrible. In fact, this entire week has been a total downer, and it's all because of that stupid pirate."

Burl then returned with three bottles of cola. "Here you go, full tank."

"Good, took you long enough," said Eret and grabbed the bottles and inserted them in his chest compartment. "There completely restored. That bastard, wait until I get my hands on him!" He then looked back at Coco. "So why are you here, old hag?"

"Aqua Laguna is on its way," she explained as Burl topped up her glass.

"Ah, is that right?" said Eret. "No wonder the wind is blowing so strong today."

"You'll need to get your house prepped up from the storm."

"Well, there's nothing much to prep, really, seeing as I don't actually have a house any more."

"I was going to have a drink with Iceberg, but it seems he was shot."

"Yeah, I heard about that. They say that pirates are responsible, Galley Law and the townspeople are raging pissed."

"So a pirate did it, huh?" she laughed. "Do you honestly think that's what happened?"

Eret looked at her curiously. "You sound like you know something. If you really do, then spit it out, you old hag."

"Iceberg is constantly being hounded by the World Government; you ever noticed that?"

"So?" Eret frowned. "Wait, are you trying to say that Government lapdog Corgi pulled the trigger? That little troll is cut out to try something like that."

"You're right; an assassination plot falls more in line with the World Government CP-9," said Coco and then looked at Burl, who was refilling her glass once again. "Isn't that right, Burl, ever heard of them?"

"Huh, only rumours, really," he shrugged.

"Jeez, you village simpletons sure put a lot of stock into stories about imaginary boogie men shadow organisation," Eret scoffed.

"Don't be an idiot; of course, they exist. They just never show themselves; they can't really work undercover if everyone knows who you are," she said as she drank down her glass.

"You seem pretty sure for yourself; you got some kind of proof about this?" Eret asked curiously.

"Nope, just rumours."

"Stop screwing around, hag!" Eret snapped. "Look, rumours are just superstitious nonsense!"

"They've remained a rumour for such a long time, huh?" said Coco looking directly at him. "They're good at eliminating people without anyone noticing. If you mess with them, you're dead meat."

Heather was in an unknown location when a shadow approached her.

"Impressive work, the assignment we had to do yesterday went very well," he said as he sat down. "Excellent job Heather Owson."

Heather sat down opposite him. "Thanks, it was a cakewalk."

"Though naturally being pursued by every last person in the city."

"Indeed I am."

"Merely a temporary setback. Tonight is what's important, understand? We'll infiltrate Iceberg's residence one more time. It becomes a worst-case scenario; you're free to eliminate all of the evidence. Among Tom's apprentices, who could have had it from the very beginning, Iceberg is the only one that remains alive. No matter how much he denies having it, in the name of CP-9, we will take it tonight. Never forget, this is a mission of justice."

Meanwhile, everyone on the lower levels was fortifying their houses across the entire island and packing up their valuables.

"In compliance with the Aqua Laguna warning that was issued for the entire island earlier today, all docks on the shipbuilding island are now to be considered public and evacuation centres," said an announcer on the loudspeaker. "Large clouds are to be expected, so please take shelter as quickly as possible. Additionally, keep in mind that Dock One is currently in a dangerous state."

"All right, I'll put the iron board on," said a man as he fortified his store. "Hey honey, you sure we have everything we need?"

"Yes, now come on," said his wife. "We need to take shelter in the shipyard."

"Yeah, Dad, let's get going!"

"Come on, hurry!"

"Patients, patients," he chuckled as he began battling the iron board. "You've got to be careful sealing this board. If the inside of our house gets flooded, everything will get ruined."

"Tie that site down too! Move it!"

"Hey, the wind is started to pick up! The waves will be here at any time now, hurry! If we take too long, those assassin pirates are going to show up too!"

"What?"

The shipwrights were still hunting the Dragon Riders, and they were currently tracking Toothless and the twins.

"Where they disappear to?"

"I'm sure they went this way."

"They've got to be around here."

"Okay, you guys look over there!"

"Right!"

"Why are they hunting us?" Ruffnut asked.

"They look like shipwrights. Did something happen at the docks?" Tuffnut asked, looking at Toothless.

"I don't know, but it sounds like the entire city is chasing us down for some reason," said Toothless.

It was then a newspaper slammed into his leg; he then bent down and read it, soon realised what was going on.

"This explains a few things," said Toothless and pass the newspaper to the twins.

"Conference in the assassination plot?" Tuffnut stared.

"Good thing we decided to go for a walk instead of staying in the inn," said Ruffnut.

"Hey, who goes there?" said a voice behind them. "Who are you?"

They quickly turned around and saw that the shipwright had just noticed them down the alleyway, and soon other shipwrights began to appear.

"Over here, there are three suspicious people hiding in the alley!"

At the same time, the shipwrights were at the inn where they were staying at.

"You're sure about this? There's no mistake?"

The manager nodded. "I'm certain, they have been saying here in the inn since they checked in last night. They all took off just a little while ago."

"They're staying here?"

"Yes, that's right. They still have lots of luggage left in their room; I'm sure they'll be back for it sometime."

The shipwrights scratched his chin. "Right. You guys stay here, okay. The rest of you search the surrounding area with me. Look sharp, leave no stone unturned has everyone got it?"

"Yeah!"

Shipwrights had arrived at the Going Tiger began combing through it from head to toe, but the place was completely empty.

"No one's here," said the group leader. "Are you are hundred percent certain that this is their ship?"

"There's no mistaking it; look up there," he said, pointing at the flag. "That's the flag of the Dragon Riders Pirates."

"They probably already abandoned her; she's all worn out."

Snotlout was hiding behind some rocks trying to remain quiet, he had seen them coming and decided to hide rather than stay on the ship, and it looks like he made the right choice.

"Did you find them?"

"No, they're gone."

"There's not much left on board, pretty sure she was abandoned and left to sink. Let's keep looking around."

The shipwrights then began to leave, and Snotlout sat there watching them. After he was certain they were gone, he sat up and wondered what was going on.

'Who were those guys?' Snotlout frowned. 'Is there something going on in the city?'

Hiccup and Astrid were sneaking down the back alleys trying to avoid being caught.

"See anything?"

"Not a trace of them."

"Dammit, where are they?"

"They sure are persistent," said Astrid as they ran down the alleyway. "Hey, Hiccup."

"What is it?" Hiccup asked.

"Do you think everyone is okay? These guys are all over the place."

"Ragnar, Fishlegs, and Chopper don't have wanted poster; therefore, no one knows their faces," said Hiccup. "As for the twins there with Toothless, and I'm confident you'll be able to keep them safe."

"I suppose you're right, but I'm still worried," said Astrid.

"Me too."

Ragnar and his group were still completely unaware of Heather's involvement in the assassination attempt. They were currently looking at the timetable for the Sea Trains, thinking that Heather might jump to another island.

"Looks like the Sea Train is still in operation," said Ragnar. "I'm guessing the noon departure has already left. There's another one scheduled for tonight, even in all of this bad weather. The 11 PM is leaving for Enies Lobby."

"That's sea train is pretty impressive," said Fishlegs.

While they were busy going through the timetable, shipwrights were still searching for the Dragon Riders.

"Hey, any news on those pirates?"

"We've got nothing."

"If we can just capture one of those four from the wanted posters, we'll make them cough up who the others are."

"Hurry before the waves get too high."

Chopper looked up at the two of them. "Maybe we couldn't find Heather because she got onto the Sea Train?"

"If she did, that would make things worse than they already are," said Ragnar. "Water 7 is too big of an area to cover on its own."

"What if… what if I did something to upset her back at the bookstore," said Chopper looking at the ground.

"I doubt that's the reason she left," said Fishlegs stroking him.

Ragnar then looked at a passerby. "Hey, excuse me." He then pulled out a newspaper holding Heather's wanted poster. "Have you seen a beautiful woman that looks kinda like this?"

"You mean the one that about 10 years older in that picture? If I had, I would have told the newspapers or the Galley Law Company about it. To think that she's in an assassin, kinda shocking, huh? I admire you for trying to track down that criminal, but I suggest you find yourself some shelter soon. Aqua Laguna is on its way; take care."

Fishlegs looked at Ragnar. "Did he just say assassin?"

Ragnar looked at the newspaper. "There is she's the one responsible for the assassination attempt on Iceberg."

"What?" Fishlegs stared.

"Things are getting dangerous around here," Ragnar sighed.

"What about the others? Do you think they're okay?" Chopper asked.

"I'm sure they're fine; those guys can look after themselves," said Ragnar, then looked at the deserted streets. "At any rate, this city becoming quite the ghost town."

"The wind is really picking up," Fishlegs agreed. "I can tell with this much wind blowing and the atmospheric fallen so rapidly that Aqua Laguna is going to be quite powerful. And willing to bet that most people in the shelters."

"Where could she be?" said Ragnar started to look frustrated. "Heather, where are you?"

"You sure it's wise calling out her name with everyone looking for her?" Fishlegs asked.

Chopper then smelled a familiar scent. 'That scent, is it…'

He then promptly took off, much to the surprise of Ragnar and Fishlegs.

"Chopper, what is it?" Ragnar asked, but he kept on galloping away. "Chopper!"

"We better go after him," said Fishlegs.

Ragnar nodded and began running after him. "Wait for us!"

'I'm close,' said Chopper.

"Chopper, wait up!" Ragnar yelled. "What's going on?"

'This way,' said Chopper and began running down some stairs.

"What's gotten into him?" said Fishlegs as they followed him down.

"You can't just go running off like that," said Ragnar as they reached the bottom and saw him staring into space. "What the hell is the matter with you? One second you're right beside us—"

Ragnar stopped, and Fishlegs just stared utterly speechless.

"I knew it, look," said Chopper.

Standing on the other side of the canal was none other than Heather.

"It's Heather!" the three of them stared.

"Heather, where in the world have you been?" Ragnar asked. "Everyone is worried; we've been looking everywhere for you."

"And what's this about you assassinating Iceberg?" Fishlegs asked.

"We can talk about that later, but we really should join up with the others," said Ragnar. "We have a lot to catch you upon. Just stay put. We'll find our way over to you."

"Don't bother, it's all right," said Heather. "Stay where you are. There's no need because I will be coming back to you and your crew. We're parting ways, here in this city."

"What the?" Ragnar stared. "What in the world are you talking about? Is this about the assassination attempt? Because if that's the case, none of us believes it. I mean, pirates are falsely accused of crimes all the time; we're easy targets."

"About that… I apologise for pinning such an unreasonable crime on all of you, but as far as my involvement, everything that was said in the newspaper is true," said Heather. "Late last night, I broke into the mayor's place of residence and shot him."

Three of them just stared at her.

"No way," said Chopper.

"Inside me, I carry a darkness that none of you knows about; one day, that darkness will be the end of all of you," she continued. "I'm afraid you'll be taking the fall for last night's attack while I escape, and let me warn you, the situation will only get worse."

"What are you talking about?" Ragnar yelled. "I don't understand."

"Why I'm doing it?" said Heather. "There's no need for you to understand."

"Heather, what happened?" Ragnar yelled. "You're not making any sense! This isn't like you at all!"

"Please, we will work this out together!" Chopper cried.

"You can't just leave it without giving us a good explanation!" Fishlegs yelled.

Heather shook her head. "Even though I spent a short time with you from this day forward, we will never see each other again. Thank you for all the kindness you've shown me know that I will never forget it. Goodbye."

She then turned her back on them and walked away, leaving the three of them completely speechless.

"Come back!" Ragnar yelled as he and the others attempted to chase after her. He then dived into the canal. "Stop! You don't know what you're saying! Heather, wait, please! Come back!"

Unfortunately, the canals currents were too strong, and soon she disappeared into the distance.

"Heather!" Chopper cried.
