Chapter 30: Stranger Things in the Night
"If that's what you informed me about Sean's mission then you should get back to your room now, Seed." Lene said as Seed replies while closing his eyes.
"You know Lene, you really acting strict after the two of us are sleeping together when we stayed at Rockaxe. I felt that you're still upset after those two were saying about the True Runes' nature."
Lene knew that Seed had easily guessed how upset she is and why she is depressed as she looked on her Divine Dagger Rune.
"I just wanted to be normal, that's all..."
"Mine too... I maybe skilled on both of my Runes and I realized that they were just babies from the True Rune itself." Seed said while looking on both hands where he carries both his Flowing Rune and Rage Rune and Lene gets close to him.
"You were lucky that you have Elemental Runes than mine. I really don't have this when Sean and I had investigate this Rune until this had attached into me."
"Lene... wait... don't..." Seed warns Lene not to touch him as it bursts out of water, much to her horrible shock until he's behind her. "You really think I'm dead, Lene. It's just my water trick for being a puppet version of me. I'd never do this to Lord Riou when Culgan and I we fought with his group. I do this when I currently worked as a peasant on our beautiful home country and I forgot this trick when they recruited me in the Highland Army."
"You were actually skilled swordsman and I never seen you made such a magic trick." Lene said nicely which Seed arrogantly smirked on her.
"Hey, I maybe a skilled swordsman. That water trick that I showed it to you was actually connected to my Flowing Rune. That's why, I mastered this Rune rather than the fire one."
"I really don't know what's on your mind, Seed? You always keep talking to me all day." Lene asked nicely to him as Seed loses his arrogance and realizing how he felt for her because of his strong romantic feelings for her.
"Lene, I... when we were in the shower after I massaged you. I kinda miss it whenever I kissed you back there. I kinda annoyed when you accidentally remove the towel to show my entire bod and you laugh at me like a crazy idiot."

"To be honest, Lene... I really loved you so much." Seed said finally admits his feelings to her and tells her. "I'd never showed all this sentimental crap to Culgan even for both Lord Jowy and Lady Jillia. I saw them how they treat nicely to that little girl that they had adopted. All I wanted to have is a family of my own."
Lene blushes when Seed admitting his love to her and he finally reveals it about Asher.
"About the old guy who summoned me back then, he is my best friend's descendant. I wanted to tell you this if I had free time to reveal it to you. He doesn't want to expose to everyone only you and your father. I was envy and jealous after learning that Culgan had already have a descendant. As for me, I really don't have one..."
Lene smiles when he knew he does not have a descendant following their deaths at the hands of Riou and the Allied Army which she romantically flirts him.
"Despite your daring actions to me, you don't seem to care if I was naked and you told me that we're already grown up adults."
"If you say something like that, Lene. You know me..." Seed replies while displaying his flirt side to her.
"I warned you, Seed... if you act something irresistible then..."
Without warning, Seed eventually grabs her lips to shut her mouth, not to finish her sentence. Both of them are gazing upon each other as the song "Somebody's Me" has been played and both continued to have a quickie.
"You were holding back when I spoke about what your current life is." Lene said in a flirtatious tone as Seed smirkingly replies.
"Me, holding back? Wait till I show you!"
Lene knew how strong Seed is whenever they make out and she felt his hands are touching her buttocks whenever he grabs it. She finally takes off his shirt to reveal his bare chest and how she became attracted to his revealed appearance then she slowly pulls off his trousers. Seed didn't care much when she makes him naked as he did the same to Lene, trying to pull up slowly the skirt of her short dress to reveal her panties as he took it off entirely to see her topless and he finally kissed her more on her chest as she moaned as he stopped when he just reach on her stomach. He finally pulls off her panties and Lene did not care to see him doing it and he carries her to the bed and they lied on the bed, kissing. Lene feels the burn on Seed's caresses which is both tender and wild as he explores every inch of her body.
"Your touches are driving me crazy..." Lene said while gazing at him only for Seed to keep her quiet as his hands go to her ankles and finally reach through her thighs.
"Shhh... let me remind you that we're already a couple. Let's savor our romantic moment intimately."
Without warning, both stare each other and Seed finally moved between her legs and she moans while he softly kisses her lips knowing that she feels his thrust within her and he continued to make love with her wholeheartedly. Seed's kisses are more intense as both of their bodies become one as it blacked out.
Meanwhile, Sean and Cara had arrived at their destination which the party takes place and it was lively. They discover the same wine seen from the stall are present and whoever drinks it will be knocked out. As the host is none other than Rambert's right hand man named Sly who declares the party to begin.
"People in Tinto... now let this party begin!"
"Not this time, bastards!" Sean immediately throws his Tokkosho to the center stage which knocks Sly from the explosion causing many people to have a stampede.
"Who throw that double bladed sword?"
"As I Inspector Sean Rockwell... is gonna clean up the entire house!? Tell your stupid boss that his plans are far from over!"
"Hehehe! Not on my watch! Rambert is gonna get all of his dietary needs by abducting these people." Sly then summons most of the zombie army to corner Cara. To their surprise a bottle appears on the zombies which causes an explosion and it turns out to be Erika who is selling the champagne.
"Erika? You're here and how did you learn to make explosive bottles?" Sean said as Erika reveals to him.
"I almost forgot despite being a wine maker. I'm also an alchemist to make improvised explosives."
"You'd think your explosives are gonna wipe out my zombie men. Don't make me..."
Sly continues to summon the zombies only to be wiped out with bolts of lightning by Geddoe who casts Thunder Storm from his True Lightning Rune.
"Your zombie men are all wasted."
Sly gets disappointed to see them but was blocked by Frank who wields a chainsaw.
"Hey, you must be Leather Face's."
Frank unleashes a powerful spinning chainsaw multiple times, decapitating Sly in the process and it has bleed effects on his chainsaw and Sean was surprised to see him.
"I didn't know you're with us the whole time."
"I asked him to come with me, Inspector. Just in case if these monsters like this would let us into trouble." Geddoe said plainly when Frank was present. Suddenly a man appears in the same size as Frank.
"Frank Reade... I would expect to be here in this city."
The three men noticed it was Leather Face and he manages to take Cara as a hostage.
"Leather Face? Where is Jesse...?" Frank savagely faces Leather Face which he sadistically responds.
"Oh that bitch who always speaks trash... Don't worry, they will be killed gently by our boss. To be honest that most men were completed eradicated by his own powers."
"What powers are you talking about!? Cara has nothing to do with this!" Sean scowled angrily over him which he attempted to attack only to be blocked by Leather Face with his chainsaw.
"Don't move or this little bitch will be slice for dice. Hahahaha..."
With this, he uses the smokescreen to escape and he successfully abducts Cara. Sean was angry after he escaped and Frank wanted to kill him while clenching his left fist. Geddoe knew how dangerous their enemy is and decided to inform Lene about this.
"The infiltration of the party may be a success, Inspector. We need to inform the princess about Cara's abduction. It looks like our enemy is trying to eliminate men but making the women as his brides. Seems like a bride factory to me."
"Listen boys... I'd like to inform to the red headed guy about Leather Face. As a chainsaw wielder, we can easily break their weapon in one single blow like this one-eyed guy who wields a sword." Frank warns about their current weapons as he pointed out on Geddoe's sword.
"Oh he pointed out about my sword, hahaha..." Geddoe laughs as Sean grunted on his actions.
"If I were red head, I would get pissed over my broken sword."
"I would be hidden in disguise if the mayor of Tinto will be present." Frank said and decided to move to Crom Village. "You can inform me if there's something going to happen here in this town. It's better if these citizens would not noticed that I was here."
As Frank leaves the scene, Sean and Geddoe decided to return back immediately and regroup.
When Seed was asleep, Lene looked at his face as she covers herself with a bed sheet. She was romantically attracted to him after they made love for the first time until he spoke to her sheepishly.
"I love you, Lene..."
Lene smiles at him nicely and decided to get some sleep after their magnificent night.
