Alright, you all know the story at this point. There's some fun facts and scrapped ideas from the story
-Phosphora and Arlon were originally going to have a bigger role, but I had trouble making their additions feel natural.
-Viridi was going to stay evil and Mike was going to be more conflicted. Scrapped because I didn't think I could both make the relationship between Mike and Zoey natural if they were on different sides to start.
-Due to the complaints about both being bland, I tried to give both Mike and Zoey more personality, as well as a "Savvy Guy, Energetic Girl" style relationship (Look that term up on TvTropes if you want to know more)
-Mike has a scar on his chest from where the Chaos Kin stabbed him to steal his soul. It was going to be revealed in story, but I couldn't make its appearance/reveal feel natural.
-Dark Zoey was added basically at the last second. I really wish I got to do more with her to be honest as she's one of my favorite OCs for these stories so far.
-In terms of weapons, Mike's preferred weapons are Claws (his favorite), Arms, and Blades. On the other hand, Zoey's preferred weapons are Bows (her favorite. Pit had a lot of influence), Cannons, and Staffs. Like I said in story, Mike likes to get up close and personal, while Zoey prefers to fight at a range. Pit will use anything, but he likes Bows the best.
-Because she is Zoey's opposite, Dark Zoey has no interest in Mike. In fact, she doesn't get what Zoey sees in him. In a similar vein, Dark Pit has no interest in Palutena.
-I was going to do the chapter I skipped over (the one where Hades eats you), but because of how much I hate it, it was mostly just going to be me trashing the level and ESPECIALLY the boss fight.
-At one point, Mike's mask was actually going to hide a long scar across his face from a training accident. Scrapped because it made him come off like a brooding edge lord.
-It was actually going to take Viridi longer to warm up to Mike, but I didn't want her to come off as abusive and what I actually wrote was way cuter.
-The family relationship is something like this: Viridi is the mom, Mike is the spoiled child who could get away with murder, Phosphora is the big sister who would totally help hide the body, Arlon is the cool yet exasperated uncle and Cragalanche is the family pet.
-I really wanted to put in a joke about the music in game, like the characters wondering random background music comes from, but it was really cringy.
And that is just about everything! But I actually need your help before we head to Alola with Emma and Kitty. See….I actually need help coming up with their teams. I already know that Kitty is getting a Bewear and I have their starters picked, but I'm drawing a blank with everything else. So, if anyone has any ideas, I would love to hear them! And speaking of that, the first chapter of Poké Sisters should be up at the same time as this!
