A/N Thanks again for all the reviews. They really are an inspiration. I still own nothing.

Steve and Mona stared at Barb, "Are you sure?"

Barb answered, "That's her. There's no doubt."

Mona checked the page, "You're right, her name is Penny Waters."

Steve broke in, "How could this woman who was married to a rapist in Nebraska less than a year ago be engaged to a Nobel Prize winner in California?"

Barb smirked, "And in a TV commercial."

After a moment she said, "We did know she lived for a time in California after High School trying to be an actress. She might have got to know him then."

Mona nodded, "I suppose that is possible. But they are not just seeing each other, they are engaged."

Wayne spoke up, "Maybe they were once involved."

Barb moved away from the computer, "So, we found her, what do we do now?"

Wayne answered, "We don't have to do anything. We really have no reason to think she wants to hear from us. She probably does not need any reminders of what happened in Nebraska."

Barb sighed, "I suppose you're right. But I just got the feeling she was hoping for the best for you after the phone call. I think she would like to know how well things are going for you."

Mona broke in, "I know it sounds crazy but in a way you are related to her. You are her ex-husband's brother,"

Wayne corrected, "Half-brother." He smiled ruefully, "I doubt they would want me to be part of the family."

Barb refused to give in, "Everything you guys are saying make sense, but I just can't shake the idea she would be interested as to what happened to you."

Steve, who had been listening quietly, "This may be a stupid idea, but we are going to be seeing them at that gathering. Maybe we could feel them out after the meeting. It could unnecessarily remind her of what happened; but I also agree with what Barb is saying. I would hate to never give her the chance to decide."

Barb turned to Mona, "What about it, Mona? Shouldn't we at least give it a shot?"

Mona turned to Wayne, "Wayne, what do you think?"

He sighed, "I have to admit I really would like her to know that she helped me." Hesitating, "I also have to admit I would like to meet her."

Barb spoke up, "There is one other thing. I did know her in High School. We were hardly friends, but I did work with her on a project once and we did get along."

Mona sighed, "I still am not sure about this, but I am willing to give it a try."

Barb hugged her, "Thank you."

Mona smiled, "You're welcome, but it was Steve's idea."

Barb then hugged Steve as well, "Thank you, big brother."

Steve returned it, "You're welcome, Sis. I just hope it all works out."

"Hi, Dad."

"Hi Slugger, how's everything going?"

"Great. Are Lisa and Mom there?"

"Yeah, Lisa and Frank came over like you told them to. What's going on?"

"I am going to put you on speaker, suggest you do the same."

"Okay, now are you ready to tell us what this is all about."

"Leonard and I are making wedding plans."

Susan spoke up, "That's wonderful. Have you set a date?"

"No, that's one thing we wanted to talk to you about." She paused, "The big thing though is where we want to hold it, California or Nebraska."

Wyatt answered, "If you are asking what is best for us, depends on the season. If you wait until December or early next year, either one will work. Otherwise, it would be tough to get away for very long."

"I know, Dad, we were thinking maybe next January."

Lisa broke in, "That would work for Frank and me, too. He has some vacation time he needs to use before the end of February."

Wyatt went on, "As far as where, I would love to come back out to California. We could maybe get in a little vacation."

Lisa added, "I agree. Frank and I haven't taken a trip for a while."

Leonard broke in, "It sounds like we are going to hold it here in January."

Penny laughed, "That was easy."

Susan spoke up, "Have you decided who you want in the wedding and who to invite?"

Penny answered, "We have decided we want a small wedding, just close friends and families."

She continued, "As far as who is going to be in the wedding, I will ask Lisa now if she will be my Matron of Honor again." She smiled, "For the last time, I promise."

Lisa smiled happily, "I'd be honored to."

Penny went on, "Great. As far as the rest, I was thinking of asking Amy and Bernadette. I thought of Millie but since we are doing it in California…"

Leonard broke in, "I plan on having Sheldon again as my best man with Howard and Raj," he paused, "If Raj wants to."

Lisa broke the silence, "Are you having a flower girl or ring bearer?"

Penny answered, "I really can't think of anyone. So I guess we will forego that."

Susan spoke again, "How about a wedding dress?"

Penny smirked, "I sure as hell am not going to wear the same one again. Maybe I will just not wear a wedding dress. That way we don't need to mess with Bridesmaid dresses either."

Susan hesitantly asked, "How about your family, Leonard?"

"I will invite them all. I think Dad will come if he is not out in the jungle somewhere. As for my Mom, Michael, and Hayley, your guess is as good as mine."

Penny broke in, "I know this is probably crazy but maybe we could ask if their kids could be a flower girl or ring bearer. That might affect their decision."

Leonard was stunned, "I guess so." A hesitation, "The trouble is, I don't know if that is what I want."

After an awkward silence, Wyatt spoke, "Is there anything else?"

Penny answered, "Not for now. We need to find a venue and finalize a date. We'll keep you posted."

Susan added, "Sounds good." Hesitates, "We are all so happy for you guys."

Penny smiled, "Thank you."

After exchanging goodbyes, they hung up.

Penny looked at Leonard, "Well, I guess we know a lot more. That went easier than I thought. Do you have any idea where we should hold it?"

"Not really. We also need someone to officiate." He paused, "I guess I should want my brother and sister to come."

"I would like them to." She paused, "But I understand."

Leonard smiled, "Oh Hell, let's try it." He sighed, "They probably won't come anyway."

After a few moments, he smiled, "When do you want to tell the others?"

"As soon as possible. I am so excited."

Leonard moved over and took her in he arms, "Me, too." He kissed her softly on the lips, "Why don't we plan on having them all over for supper tomorrow night."

"Sounds good to me. Should we say we want them to be in the wedding then?"

Penny then laughed and answered her own question, "I don't think we will have any choice."

Leonard smiled, "We won't be interfering with the Emmys or Oscars, will we? Just in case you win one."

Penny socked him playfully, "Shh. We don't want to jinx it."

She went on, "I think we should go out and celebrate. What say we go to that Italian place on fourteenth?"

"Sounds good to me, but we could have sex instead."

"First food, then sex. I don't want you to think I am easy."

Leonard smiled and then said, "I just think you are beautiful and I am the luckiest man in the world."

Penny blushed and held him, "Well, I am the luckiest woman." After a while they exchanged a passionate kiss.

Then Penny smirked, "But I still want dinner."

Priya waited nervously in Patel's waiting room. Although she was sure she was doing the right thing, she still could hardly believe she was doing it. She smiled to herself, maybe the real shock was still that she loved Sanjay. She was amazed at how much that realization had changed her outlook on life, what was important to her.

She was brought out of her reverie when his secretary told her, "You can go in now."

When she went in, he was on the phone and signaled for her to sit down.

After talking for a few minutes, he hung up and turned to her, "Sorry about that, but I am getting ready to leave for England. In fact, I need to head out for the airport in a couple hours. I only agreed to see you because you said it was important. Are you sure it can't wait until I get back in a few days?"

"No, I need to discuss this as soon as possible. It won't take long."

"Alright, what's so urgent?"

"When we had the meeting where you offered me the position of Junior Partner, I…" She hesitated and took a breath, "I misled you on a couple points."

His eyes widened a little, "Go on."

"When I told you I was leaving my husband because of my family and because I wanted to return to India, that was the truth." She sighed, "But when you felt that was not a sufficient reason, I left out one important fact and lied about another."

When he just stared at her, she struggled on, "I neglected to tell you that I had cheated on my husband."

Seeing he was about to say something, she hurried on, "And when I told you that my husband had cheated on me, I had no knowledge or proof of that." She lowered her head, "But I did know he had strong feelings for someone else and in fact has already become engaged to her."

She hesitated before adding the next part, but Sanjay had told her he wouldn't be upset if she used his name, "I am in love with the man I cheated with and we are seeing each other."

"I guess that's about it."

Patel sat back, stunned by what he had heard. Although she didn't say his name, he knew she had been seeing Sanjay Bakshi. Although he had thought it was a little quick after her divorce, he actually knew and respected Sanjay and his family. He had worked with his father on several occasions.

And although she had lied about her husband cheating, the fact that he was now engaged to someone else made it seem there had been some support for her saying he had cheated.

He sighed to himself. He knew the real reason he was trying to make excuses for her. Her work was brilliant. Just in the short time she had been Junior Partner, she had brought new business and other values to the firm. As short a time as she had been in the position, many of the other Senior Partners were saying what an excellent Senior Partner she would be.

Priya looked at him, wondering what he was thinking.

Finally, he leaned forward, "I would be lying if I didn't say I am deeply disappointed by what you have told me. A part of that is that you felt the need to lie. I admit I do not know how it would have affected my decision, but I am hurt you did not feel you could be honest with me."

"I should discuss this with the other senior partners. However, as I said I am on my way out of the country."

He hesitated, "For now, let's just keep this to ourselves. We will talk again when I return next week. Until then, just continue to work as if we did not have this discussion."

Priya was stunned. Oh, she knew she was probably just delaying the inevitable, but would take what she could, "Thank you, Sir."

"Don't thank me. We are just pushing this back. I cannot promise you anything."

"I understand, Sir." She hesitated, "I really am sorry about what I did."

He nodded. Deciding they were done, Priya quickly left.

Patel watched her go. Taking a deep sigh, he picked up the phone to arrange for a car to take him to the airport.

Howard and Bernadette had made it a point to spend time with Debbie at least four or five times a week. They were surprised when she called them and told them they didn't need to stop over that night because she would not be at home.

While they were pleased she was getting out, they were also a little concerned. Bernadette asked her, "You're not trying to do too much are you? We're glad you are getting out of the house but need to remind you that you still need to be careful."

Debbie smiled, "I am just going out to have supper and a movie with a friend."

Bernadette and Howard looked at each other, "Do we know her?"

"No, you don't know HIM. Howard, you remember David and Edith Bernstein? His name is Sam Steinberg and he is Edith's brother. He is living with them."

Howard couldn't stop himself, "You are going out on a date?"

"I guess you could call it that. I just think of it as two acquaintances spending some time together."

While Howard was struggling to accept what was going on, Bernadette was pleased for her, "That sounds great, Debbie." But then she couldn't resist, "Remember, you are still recovering, you probably should check with your doctor before you think of having sex."

Bernadette smirked at the look on Howard's face, but then found herself looking the same when Debbie replied, "Oh, I already have…" Hesitated, "Checked, that is."

Then smiling broadly, she told them, "Don't worry, we are not at that point," pregnant pause, "Yet."

She then told them goodbye, after promising to tell them all about it the next day.

After they hung up, Bernadette turned to Howard, "You are okay with this, aren't you? I think it is wonderful she had found someone to spend time with."

"I know. It is just kind of sudden. It is going to take me a little time to figure out how I do feel."

The next night everyone was at 5A, eating supper. They all had exciting news to share.

Amy had been bursting to tell someone and shocked everyone by blurting out, "Sheldon and I have decided to have a baby."

Everyone stared at her and then turned their eyes to Sheldon.

He looked back, "What? Why do you all look surprised? We have talked before about that with our superior intellects, our offspring would be exceptional."

Penny recovered, "Yeah, but it's still a surprise." She went on, "I am so happy for both of you."

Everyone soon joined in and the women gave Amy a hug.

After a few minutes, Bernadette spoke up, "You won't believe this, but Debbie has a fella."

With everyone staring at her, Penny finally said, "That's great. How did she meet him? Have you met him?"

Howard answered, "We haven't met him, but he is related to a couple I have met, so I think he is all right. As far as how he met her, she didn't say. I suppose through the Bernsteins some way."

Leonard spoke up, "You didn't ask her?"

Howard smirked, "I think we were both a little stunned."

Penny looked at Leonard, "Well, if no one has nothing else, Leonard and I have something we would like to discuss with you."

When everyone looked at her, she smiled, "Leonard and I are making wedding plans." As everyone looked surprised, she continued. "We don't have a definite date yet but plan on sometime in January." She paused, "We also decided we are going to have it here in California."

Everyone smiled. Amy was first to speak, trying to act like it was just casual interest, "How about your Maid of Honor?"

Penny smiled, "I have asked my sister." Seeing the look of disappointment on Amy's face, "But I do want you and Bernadette to be my bridesmaids if you agree."

Both Amy and Bernadette quickly told her they would be honored. Then Amy said, "We get to pick out a wedding dress and bridesmaid dresses. It will be so much fun."

Penny sighed, "Actually, I was thinking I would not have a wedding dress or Bridesmaid dresses."

Amy looked shocked, but Penny was surprised when it was Bernadette who said, "Why are you doing that?"

Penny answered, "I don't know. I mean, I have been married before."

Bernadette shook her head, "That doesn't matter. We all know how much you and Leonard love each other. You deserve and need to get a new dress."

Penny smiled when Amy added, "And I need to wear a Bridesmaid dress."

Penny raised her arms, "Okay, Okay. You convinced me; I will do it all."

Bernadette and Amy smiled broadly.

Howard spoke up, "Okay, now that's settled. How about you, Leonard, have you decided who will stand up with you?"

Leonard turned to Sheldon, "Sheldon, would you be my best man?"

"Of course, Leonard. I am your best friend." He hesitated, "I must admit, I prefer your choice this time over your previous effort."

After a moment of stunned silence, Penny smiled, "Why thank you, Sheldon."

"You're welcome."

Leonard smiled, "As for my Groomsmen, I was hoping you would be one of them, Howard."

Howard smiled, a little surprised, "I'd love to."

Leonard hesitantly turned to Raj, "I hate to put you on the spot and we will all understand if you don't think you should, but would you stand up with me?"

Raj was stunned. He wondered for a moment what Priya and his family would think, but realized he had really come to enjoy his time in America and considered these people his friends, "I'd be honored."

Leonard smiled, "Great."

Bernadette spoke up, "How about a venue?"

Penny sighed, "That is something we need to do."

Amy smiled, "We will all be glad to help."

Leonard spoke up, "Thanks, we will appreciate the help."

As everyone returned to eating, there was a feeling of deep comradeship between them. Each of them felt they had found a place they felt comfortable and people they were comfortable being with.
