A few days passes after the attack towards Ragna. There are many NUNS battleships flying in space while securing a defense line for the planet.
We turn our attention to the Macross Elysion that is standing in the ocean water and not docked to its usual land pad at Barrette city. Ken's Stealth Class Cruiser is near it and docked by the water.
in the Elysion's briefing room. every member of the platoon, mechanics, staff, etc of the Macross Elysion gathered around along with Captain Ernest himself as they had a meeting with several NUNS officers on live video communication.
"we've gathered you all for a very important briefing." Said a NUNS officer on the monitor screen with several others. "this Meltys Kurenai shows fearsome power. The NUNS will take over her case, and protection over Mikumo Guynemer. The Walkure's services to prevent Var is decreased after the end of the Windemere war, therefore we will state the order of the Elysion to civilian's protection."
"with all do respect, sir" Ernest spoke out. "Chaos main function is not as a military organization. We do what we can do to protect civilians and for that, we need money from Walkure's concert. I'm aware that you all know that."
"we do." Replied the NUNS officer before the screen showed information of all members of Walkure members. "we also know that one Walkure member named Freyja Wion possess the highest amount of Fold Receptors that is equal to Mikumo Guynemer's power as the Star Singer. Meltys Kurenai's objective was to obtain the Star Singer's power on the attack previously but she failed. I can assume that she will try to capture the rest of the Walkure members if she fails again in capturing her target again."
"therefore, Walkure members are to be kept under highly strict security of the NUNS" another NUNS officer stated in. "their songs are powerful and dangerous in the hands of Meltys Kurenai."
"and to you guys too." Hayate muttered out before getting shushed by Mirage who is sitting beside him.
"the Walkure's protection is the Delta Platoon's duties. We ensure everyone that we keep them safe at all cost." Arad stated in as he stood beside Ernest.
"and yet you failed several times before." A NUNS officer stated in while showing reports and live videos of the Delta Platoon and Walkure fighting against the Windemere's Aerial Knights in the past and the recent one where the group of unknown terrorists that had managed to kidnap Mikumo before a last video screen appeared showing Ken's state at the moment which is bedridden. "your newest member, Ken Siriunis who is a former Captain Ranked NUNS member had failed in protecting Mikumo Guynemer once and is now bedridden. There was highly expectation after finding out his origin as who he is. But not much can be expected from a clone that pales against the original, huh?"
Kaname tensed her face to hear the words before she heard several quiet footsteps heading upstairs. She turns to look and caught a glimpse of purple hair by the open door that soon closes.
"Mikumo.." Kaname muttered out with a frown.
"matters of that aside." A NUNS officer coughs into his fist once while having his eyes closed before looking back at the whole video feed. "the Walkure can no longer be guaranteed any safety from the Delta Platoon. The NUNS will take over the job of protecting them. That is all."
Soon enough, the whole briefing ended as many people in the room left while some remain.
"we can't guarantee their safety anymore, huh?" said Hayate before he slammed his fist on the table. "like hell we can't!"
"it's like with that Valan guy all over again" Chuck muttered out while having his arms crossed.
"but this is a different matter from a different officer." Mirage added in with a frown. "we can't do anything on this order."
"we're going to be stuck in their security again." Makina stated in a tired voice.
"feels secure but unsecured," Reina added in.
"we won't be able to have things like we used to, huh?" Freyja muttered out with a frown.
"Major." Kaname looks at Arad who sighs while having his arms crossed.
"even if we could do something about it. The NUNS are on high priority for the Walkure." Arad stated before scratching his chin. "even if Scarlet can pull something off, we're stuck with our new orders."
"I just hope Mikumo can deal with this while the Captain is bedridden." Said Hayate with a frown.
"we all feel and pray the same," Mirage added in.
At the Elysion's medical bay room, Ken laid upon a medical bed, the man wearing a medical cloth while the entire left side of his face is bandaged and strapped with an Oxygen mask and several electrode pads were placed on the side of his head and neck for life support machines that checks the man's heartbeat and brain activity.
The sound of Ken's breathing in the oxygen mask, along with the beeping from the heart monitor machine is the only thing could be heard as the man laid there in a coma like sleep as he had been out for a few days after the attack on Ragna.
Ken stayed motionless in his coma as he shows no sign of waking up and before his right hand was taken into a gentle grasp by two pair of other hands by Mikumo who came into the room.
Mikumo looks at Ken as she gazes at his lifeless-like state while her eyes are in tears.
"Ken…" Mikumo muttered out in a soft voice as she holds his right hand tight yet gently. "please…wake up…"
Time passes in Ragna, several NUNS' Northampton class battleships were in the planet's skies while surrounding the Macross Elysion in a protective defense line. There were several military boats swimming around the sea in a large circle nearby the Macross Elysion's large legs.
Ken's Stealth Class Cruiser ship is in the same state as there were some NUNS military officers on board the ship and are stationed there.
Several of them had NUNS's standard VF-171 units docked in the hangar while Ken's Durandal and Messiah are getting checked by NUNS pilot who are tasked in piloting the two units while Ken is out of commission.
Things changed so fast for everyone in Chaos as everything got taken control by the NUNS.
We turn our attention to the coed dorm as the Walkure are packing up their things because they were getting transferred on board a NUNS ship for maximum protection by them.
Hayate and Mirage are in Freyja's room as the two helps the Windemerean singer pack her things up.
"ah! look at what I found again!" said Freyja as Hayate and Mirage looks at her and sees that she took out a Mercat designed hair clipper. "I've been looking for this forever!"
"hey, Freyja. We're packing your things up. Not finding them up." Hayate told Freyja while packing up an alarm clock, and a few magazines into a box with Mirage doing the same for the clothes in the closet.
"I know!" said Freyja to Hayate before she looks at the Mercat hair clipper with a soft smile. "but this hair clipper is what Mirage-san got for me on my birthday last year after all."
"that's right…." Mirage muttered out with a small smile while pausing in packing the things up. "I remember that it was the most recommended DaisyxDaisy product that time."
"you two were so in love with those Mercat products, right?" said Hayate with a small smile as he holds a magazine of the named mercat products before placing it in a box. "talk about girly."
"that's because we are girls, stupid." Mirage told Hayate as Freyja snickers.
The Delta Platoon helps the Walkure packs their things up as a Military van will come to pick them up while Hayate and the others have to stay behind in the dorm.
Hayate and Mirage comes out of Freyja's room with boxes in their hands as they got out first before the Windemerean singer came out next with a red suitcase in hand.
Chuck came out of Makina and Reina's room that they shared together, the Ragna man holding up two boxes on his shoulders and went to the stairs first before the Duo came out of their rooms with their suitcases and backpacks on.
"can't believe that we have to leave our home." Said Makina with a small sad smile as she with Reina walked down the stairs with Hayate and the others following behind.
"military rations aren't good as daily food." Reina muttered before munching on some dried Jellyfish sticks. "I have to pack up lots of Jellyfish if I want to survive."
"I'll pack up some special Jellyfish for ya, Reina-san" said Chuck with a grin as he reached downstairs and placed the boxes on his shoulders on the floor. "you can bet that they'll be the delicious critters that goes down your throat."
"I can't wait" said Reina with a smile.
"where's Kaname-san and Major Arad?" Freyja asked as everyone in the dorm got downstairs but except for Arad, Kaname, and Mikumo who is still on board Macross Elysion while staying with Ken in the medical room.
"probably waiting outside." Said Hayate before a Rafah unit came by with a trailer pushed by. The drone unit started loading the boxes and suitcases on the trailer one by one. "thanks, Rafah 4"
The named Rafah Unit let out several beeps in reply while carrying the boxes and then placing it on the trailer.
Everyone soon heads out as Arad and Kaname stands outside. the Walkure leader already packed up her belongings into her suitcase and a box which got picked up and placed to the trailer by RAFAH 4.
"packed up?" Kaname asked and Freyja with Makina and Reina nodded in reply. "good. Mikumo's belongings were already packed up and taken to the NUNS's cruiser. They'll escort her there when we get ourselves transported."
"take care, Freyja." Hayate told Freyja with a smile. "make sure not to get fat with how you're going to stay standing still for who knows how long."
"roger!" Freyja replied with a smile before she looks at Hayate and then leans up to give the man a kiss on the lips. "I'll miss you, Hayate." Hayate blushes hard with Mirage who saw the action.
Freyja smiles and snickers while blushing a bit before she turns towards Mirage and did the same for her.
"w-w-w-why me too!?" Mirage blurted out.
"well…I love Hayate….i love Mirage-san…I love everyone…but I love you two the most!" said Freyja before she hugs Hayate and Mirage together while tearing up. "and I'm going to miss you two the most!"
Hayate and Mirage looks at Freyja before they smiled and hugs her back.
Chuck, Makina, and Reina smiles to the three before they look at Arad and Kaname who smiles as well.
Rafah 4 made several beeping sounds as a Military truck came driving down the road and stopped in front of the dorm.
Two NUNS officer came out of the front and stood to salute at the group.
"looks like your ride are here, you guys" said Chuck as Rafah 4 went to load the luggage into the back before he turns to look at the members of Walkure. "take care."
"you too, Chuck" Makina replied to Chuck with a smile while Reina nodded in response before the two went first.
Hayate and Mirage hugs Freyja for minutes before they separate. The Windemerean girl walks to the truck before she waved a goodbye to the two pilots who replied with the same action. Freyja then went and got on the back of the truck with Makina and Reina who were already sat in it with their luggage.
Kaname looks at Arad as the two didn't exchange any word before the Walkure Leader went for the back of the truck to join her team.
The two military officers went back into the truck and got into the front seat then starts the truck engine.
Hayate and the others watch as the Military truck drives away and left the group while taking the Walkure away.
"there they go.." said Hayate with a small sad smile.
"yes." Mirage nodded before slowly tearing up but soon wiped them away.
"we just feel this sad from them leaving…" said Chuck while crying a bit. "I can feel just how sad Mikumo-san will feel when she leaves Captain Siriunis."
"yeah, I know" said Arad with a nod before he sighs. "things were good until that mission…"
The Delta Platoon stayed in their place while watching the Military truck disappear off the road as it was gone from sight.
"I guess…the Delta Platoon are now just an ordinary platoon, huh?" Mirage asked as Hayate nodded in response.
"the fans will be disappointed to hear the Walkure just leaving the spotlight." Said Arad as he sighs again. "we're going to have a hard time making money after this."
"no kidding" said Chuck while wiping away his tears. "looks like I got to work double hard on Ragnyanyan to make some money for my family."
"I'll help you with that." Said Hayate with a small smile.
Everyone soon started to head into the dorm while chatting, but just as they were about to get in. the loud sound of multiple jet engines is heard from the sky.
Hayate and the others turns and looks up before they made a surprise gasp when their Siegfried flies down in Battroid Mode then landed on the street.
"our Siegfried? Who is piloting them?!" said Chuck in surprise.
"rather than who, I want to know why" Hayate stated as they weren't informed about anything of their Siegfried coming to them.
Before they could ask anymore question, the four Siegfried reaches down and started grabbing them one by one.
"what the!?" Mirage exclaimed as she got grabbed by her Siegfried that placed her inside the cockpit which has no one inside. "there's no pilot?!"
"is it Scarlet?!" Chuck shouted before he got placed into his Siegfried's cockpit rather hard. "ow! Be gentle, will ya?!"
"Major! What's going on?!" Hayate exclaimed while getting into his unit's cockpit rather forcibly.
"I don't know! but I think we're going to find out the answer very soon!" said Arad as everyone is in their Siegfried's cockpits before the four units fly up in the air then flew away in Fighter mode.
The four planes flew off and leaves the dorm where upon the open bathtub were Don and Qlulu, both looking at the four units which flew for Macross Elysion.
Meanwhile, Kaname and the others sat in the back of the Military truck as they are on their way to a NUNS shuttle that will take them to a cruiser that is given the duty to guard them.
"I wonder if everyone will be alright about us not performing anymore?" said Freyja as she sat with her luggage by her legs.
"the media will be on fire and questioning to Chaos..there might be confusion for a while." Kaname replied before sighing. "our hard efforts for years are now wasted after this."
"but even if we can't perform, we can still give some fan services" said Makina with a smile as she opened her data pad that showed a screen image of the Walkure doing a group pose together. "this will sure help Chaos!"
"if we can get through the skull hard heads of the NUNS." Said Reina while still munching on some jellyfish snacks before everyone feels a bump that the truck just got through. "I hate talking to hardheads people who are like Hayate."
"he's more of dense than hard." Said Freyja with a slight snickering giggle.
"right about that." Said Kaname with a smile form the lightened mood.
Before the girls could talk even more, they heard a loud jet engine roar from above.
"must be some NUNS's soldiers doing a flight patrol." Said Makina while looking up at the metal ceiling. "they always do this on an unfamiliar planet."
The jet engine roar got even louder as everyone closed their ears.
"deculture! that's loud!" Freyja screamed out as her ears are in pain from the loud jet engine roar.
Before long, the truck started to go to several bumps before a loud bang is heard from outside.
"what is that sound?!" Kaname exclaimed before everyone felt the truck flying from the sudden levitation sensation. "this is?!"
"I feel like we're flying!" said Freyja.
"everyone!" Makina called out as she opened a small window by the side of the truck and her eyes are wide. "we're really flying!"
"huh?! We are?!" Kaname and the others said before they got to the small window and sees that the back part of the truck is flying while carried away by Ken's Excalibur Custom that has its arms out and holding the truck while taking it and the occupants inside straight for the Macross Elysion.
"just what is happening here?!" said Kaname with wide eyes while watching themselves fly above the sea from the window's view.
In space, every single NUNS' battleships are moving away from their formed defense line as the crew inside each one is looking to be in a panic.
"what is going on?!" a NUNS commander of a Northampton class cruiser shouted as he sees the other NUNS ship moving away to form a single large pathway line. "I didn't order for a change of movement! Get the ship back in its position!"
"controls are overridden! Unable to input command!" an officer stated while trying to move the ship back to its course, but every screen showed a red LOCKED sign. "we're locked out of the systems!"
"what?!" the NUNS commander shouted in shock before a video screen appeared and showed the Macross Elysion along with Ken's Stealth Class Cruiser flying out of the ocean and heading straight for space. "hey! Why is the Macross Elysion and that Cruiser leaving Ragna!? Who gave the order?!"
"no one sir! Everything is locked out from the systems!" an officer replied as everyone sees the Macross Elysion transforming into Carrier mode while exiting Ragna's airspace along with the Stealth Class Cruiser.
"get our Fighters out! stop them from leaving Ragna!" the Commander shouted but the entire system of the Northampton class Cruiser got shut down before everything turned on in emergency power. "what just happened?!"
"systems entirely locked! Units are docked and locked! We're completely in the black, sir!" an officer replied as they were all locked in their own cruiser that didn't move as they wished.
"what in the blazes is going on?!" the commander shouted in outrage.
The Macross Elysion and Ken's Stealth Class Cruiser flew off in space as they pass through the large pathway line and by the NUNS cruisers that just stayed in their places while not doing anything.
We turn our attention within the Macross Elysion's hallway where Arad and the others who just got on board with their Siegfried docked into the hangar bay of the Aether. The team headed straight for the Macross Elysion's command center where they need to get the answers of why they got abducted by their own VFs.
"just what the heck is going on?!" said Hayate as everyone keeps on running. "why is the Elysion leaving Ragna's orbit?!"
"less talking and more running!" Mirage told Hayate.
The group keeps on running to a crisscross section hallway where they bumped into Kaname and the girls again.
"Freyja?!" Hayate and Mirage exclaimed in surprise.
"why are you guys here?!" said Chuck.
"that's our line!" Makina retorted. "we were on our way to the NUNS ship when Kenken's Excalibur Custom came and picked us away!"
"abducted!" Reina stated.
"we're on our way to the command center and find out what's going on!" said Kaname.
"then, let's go!" said Arad as everyone joined up and started running again to the command center.
In Elysion's command center, Ernest sat on the commander seat as the only ones in the room is him and the three bridge operators.
Before long, the door to the room opened and Arad with the others came running in.
"Captain Ernest!" Arad shouted out to Ernest as everyone sees that the Macross Elysion flew off into space along with Ken's Stealth Class Cruiser.
"Arad. All of you." Said Captain Ernest while turning to look at the group.
"why is the Macross Elysion leaving Ragna?! And also why did we get abducted by Captain Siriunis' Excalibur Custom!?" said Kaname next before everyone hold on to something as the Macross Elysion shook a bit from something.
"did we hit something?!" said Chuck before seeing Scarlet's face appearing on a large monitor screen.
"just an asteroid, don't go panicking on me" said Scarlet before she appeared in her hologram form.
"Scarlet, what are you doing to the Macross Elysion?" Ernest told Scarlet. "you just called every staff member of the Elysion for an important message by Lady M and then just take control over everything. Just what is going on?"
"long story short," said Scarlet before she snapped her fingers and showed a live video image of every NUNS battleships that are in Ragna's airspace started to disappear into open Defold Portal. "I did a rescue without a mission."
"huh?" said Hayate while looking confused.
"I'll explain it all on the way to Windemere" said Scarlet before her hologram form disappeared and her face reappeared on the large main monitor screen. "we can't trust the NUNS no matter what."
Macross Elysion and Ken's Stealth Class Cruiser flew into space before they disappeared into a large Defold Portal that appeared in front of them.
In the Macross Elysion's medical room, Mikumo is asleep with Ken on his bed. The Mysterious Venus placed a hand over his stomach while she faces her head to the sleeping man.
"Ken…." Mikumo muttered out in her sleep as she unconsciously didn't realize that her body started to have purple glowing tattoo marks appearing once for a few seconds before they disappeared.
Ken's tattoo marks glows before the man's black hair started to have some strands turning purple while some remained black. The tattoo marks soon stopped glowing as they soon disappeared.
