Luz was in the woods, angrier than she's ever been. With every step, the ground shook. She let out a scream and punched a tree, breaking the tree into several pieces. She fell to her knees and started to cry. In the Manor, the Blights were helping Eda clean up the mess.
"So, you two really didn't feel that energy?" Amity asked.
"For the fifth time, Mittens, we didn't feel anything." Emira said.
"I think I know why you didn't feel anything." Eda said, "You two aren't capable of doing magic without your wands. You, on the other hand, Sparky, you are able to use magic without one."
"Sparky?" Amity said.
"Your fire glyphs." Eda said, "Anyway, those are the reason you were able to feel that magic energy."
Eda swept up the glass and emptied it in the trash.
"Mrs. Clawthorne, shouldn't we go after Luz?" Amity asked.
"No, when she's in this kind of mood... I've seen her like that once before... the last thing you want to do, is get in her way."
"Why? If this person you keep talking about is back, what happens if he goes after Luz? She's all alone out there!"
"Please, Belos is many things, but an idiot isn't one of them. He's seen what she's capable of, he'll send a bunch of cannon fodder after her, a bunch of people he doesn't care about losing." Eda looked at the Blight's, "Okay, listen to me, I'm not worried about Luz because I taught her everything she knows."
Amity knew that wasn't the only thing she wanted to say.
"You're hiding something." Amity said, "I know the look of someone trying to hide something, I've had that look on my own face multiple times."
Eda shook her head and chuckled.
"Kid, the real reason I'm not worried about Luz, is because she's the most powerful witch to ever live." Eda said, "The Healer's Gem increased Camila's magic tenfold and I am a magic prodigy, born with magic knowledge like no one else. As you can imagine, the two most powerful witches, giving birth, leads to a baby with magic stronger than anyone else. She always has to hold back, and the only thing that kept her magic at a normal level, was her curse. With that gone, she's had to keep her power leveled herself."
In the woods, Luz was walking back to the Manor, tears still falling down her face. She stopped walking when she heard movement behind her. She looked behind her and saw a few terrorists.
"Well, look who we found." One said.
"Looks like she's been crying." Another said.
"Well, she has to bury that weakling she calls a mother. I was told that it was easy to get the gem."
"I heard that she didn't even put up a fight."
They started to laugh until one of them started to choke and cough up blood. They looked at Luz, who put a hand up and had glowing blue eyes. She closes her fist and the man's eyes rolled into the back of his head and blood fell out of his mouth. She moved her hand and two of them turned to dust. The last one looked at her and backed up. His back hit a tree and Luz got close to him.
"I want you, to tell Belos, that I'm coming for him. There is nothing that will stop me."
Luz started to walk away. He put his finger up and was going to hit her with a spell. She retaliated by moving her arm and sending a rock into his head, killing him instantly.
"Send more, Belos, and I can guarantee... I won't hold back like I just did."
A terrorist walked up to Belos, knees trembling.
"S-S-Sir, t-t-the group you sent out... they have stopped responding."
"I see they have run into Miss Clawthorne." Belos said, "Hold back another group. We will regroup then strike when they least expect it."
"Y-y-yes, Sir."
The terrorist left and Belos walked over to a window.
"You've grown stronger... good. It will make it much more satisfying when I kill you."
