The day before the Cultural Festival…
At this school, students can stay overnight to work on their Cultural Festival preparations.
Obviously Armin's sticking around to prep too.
Armin: "You carry this over there."
Armin: "You guys try these monster costumes on."
Armin is the class representative for our class.
Our class is doing a haunted house.
And I, Eren Yeager, am the one who suggested it!
Armin: "Let's see…is there anyone else who doesn't have a job?"
Annie: "Me…."
Armin: "Then, why don't you help Eren, Annie?"
Armin: "I'm going to go make the costumes for the monsters."
Annie: "Well, why don't I help with that?"
Annie: "It seems like it'll take a long time if only one person is doing it."
Armin: "Thanks, but I'll be fine. Please help Eren."
I'm sure Annie would be happier if she's with Eren….
Her happiness is more important to me than my own….
Annie: "Okay…"
Perhaps Armin's trying to avoid me….
It must be because I tried to be happy-go-lucky like Nina….
I guess it can't be helped. What's done is done….
Armin: "Wait…."
Annie: "Yeah?"
Armin: "Actually, on second thought, I'd appreciate the help…."
Annie's happiness is the most important thing to me.
But I don't really like the thought of Annie being with another guy.
It makes my chest feel funny.
Annie: "Okay!"
It sounds like Armin's going to let me help him.
But I'm sure it's only because he realized making all those costumes is too much work for just one person.
Even so, I'm going to enjoy the time I get with him!
Annie: "Armin, let's do our best!"
Armin: "Roger that!"
