-Luan Secret Report, after the events of "Artificial Speed Realm" (Secret Report 7)-
Crisis was averted. Thanks to the efforts of Lori, with Luna, Lincoln and Carol. All of the Many-Verse are spared from their doom. Cassiel, The Angel of Speed had blessed the Artificial Speed Realm with his grace before returning to Ehyeh Asher Ehyeh/Ieouah El-Shaddai. Pandora Nihil Klum, the sister and dark counterpart of Ehyeh had noticed the progress of the heroes from above the worlds. Balance is restored and the everlasting cycle will keep on turning. When the angel reported to his master, Camael, the Angel of War and Fire had wished to return to the white-haired ex-High Councilor. Ehyeh granted the permission, provided that he relays a message from both his Father Creator and from his dark aunt. But what could be this message.
Meanwhile, Luan is back in her business and this time she had more members to join for the success. Benjamin "Benny" Stein, husband of Luan Loud-Stein is scheduled on a routine for a bar mitzvah birthday. Luan and her daughter are currently on standby since there hasn't been any birthdays since the end of the war from the Tower of Judgement. Jor-El is baking some celebratory pastries and cupcakes to deliver at his aunt's house. After a while, he'll be scheduled for his Solar-Pyrokinetic abilities.
But Luan feels uneasy with this quietness. Make no mistake, she needed a break from both heroism and being a performer. Benny only took some of her plans (since it had something to do with Benny's cultural background) but truth is that he is more of a househusband. It felt to her like she had forgotten something… or rather, someone.
Liby Loud-Stein/Invisi-Girl: Mom, are you alright?
Luan Loud-Stein/Mystica: Who?… oh, I'm alright. I just had this feeling like I've "ghosted" someone. Now I'm making fun-tom of ghosts…. geddit?
Liby/Invisi-Girl: Why the sudden ghost-related puns?
Luan/Mystica: I dunno, it's been "haunting" my mind since yesterday.
Jor-El then enters.
Jor-El/Blazeboy: Aunt Luan, I brought the goods… Are you alright?
Luan/Mystica: I'm alright. I'm just "chilling" here… no seriously, it's chilling cold like a ghost is haunting me.
Jor-El/Blazeboy: Ghost-puns? But why?
Liby/Invisi-Girl: She said, she forgotten someone but she can't think of anything.
Jor-El/Blazeboy: Did you… I dunno, disturbed a resting place or a funeral? It might be that.
Luan/Mystica: I didn't. I haven't got any scheduled party to perform with. And the last party scheduled is Benny's part since it's a bar mitzvah. Mr. Freddy Dalisay is even there to help him.
Jor-El/Blazeboy: Who? Oh, nevermind, Carol's husband.
Jor-El's phone rang along with Luan's phone. Coincidentally, the caller came from the same person, Lincoln.
Lincoln/Phoenix: Luan… Jor-El!? Good, the timing could have been more perfect. Listen, we are being called by High Councilor David Wisemann. Lisa will be there to debrief us on the mission.
Luan/Mystica: Well, it's a good thing I'm on break from party schedule. Benny will be covering up for me. Why? What is this about?
Lincoln/Phoenix: I can't tell you all the details since I have no clue on this. But I believe it had something to do with this uneasiness that I'm feeling, like a ghost or poltergeist.
Luan/Mystica: You too?
Lincoln/Phoenix: Yeah, happened since the seventh day of the Artificial Speed Realm's birth. Not only that but a coincidence that David gave this task under the request of Fenton Paranormal Corp.
Luan/Mystica: That's Tucker Folly and Daniel Fenton's group! I think this is connecting so many mysteries. Alright, we'll be right there. Liby would be joining too.
Liby/Invisi-Girl: Yeah! I'm worried about mom, uncle. She's been uneasy and this may solve the case.
Jor-El/BlazeBoy: Let's go, girls! We have to hurry.
Leaving her home, Luan and the group went to the newly reformed Nest of the Phoenix (The High Councilor's Headquarters) to know what the mission is about. David Wisemann, Lisa's husband, sent her wife and son to debrief the task that will be received but before that, Caine/Soothsayer appeared before them.
Lincoln/Phoenix: Soothsayer, what is it now? Why have you decided to appear?
Soothsayer: I see that Master Camael the Archangel had decided to reappear and fuse with you once more. That's reassuring that Master Uriel is watching over her students. But that's enough of that. It's time for you to know what the mission is about.
Lisa/Omniscience: Something uncanny had been scanned within the Fenton Corp's Ghost Portal, as if someone is trying to destroy the pathway from the inside. Not only that but, since the Ghost Realm is connected to the Ledgerdomain and La Xibalba's Purgatory of Souls, this might be classified as an invasion of the realms and may cause an alarm to both the Netherworld and Scala ad Caelum.
Lincoln/Phoenix: So that's why Camael decided to return. It seems that my retirement isn't gonna happen anytime soon.
Jor-El/Blazeboy: Once an L-Crew, always an L-Crew. Our responsibilities aren't limited to just our home, but others as well.
Lisa/Omniscience: Yes, indeed. And another thing… it's time.
Lincoln/Phoenix: Time for… oh. I knew we've forgotten about it. Luan too.
Luan/Mystica: Time for what?
Soothsayer: She's been trap in that limbo for unknown years ever since Dark Slayer sent her there to repent from her greed. I think it's time we release her from her torment.
Lisa/Omniscience: Yes, it's time we emancipate a Meta-Human named… Charlene Tanner.
Luan/Mystica: Cha… you mean her. Spirit?! Did we really forgotten about her!?
Soothsayer: And she is trapped in that world ever since that last birthday party incident. You know her, right Luan.
Luan/Mystica: Know her!? She was like a rival to my business. But she doesn't care about the costumers, she mostly does it for the money! How exactly did she got trapped in the ghost zone?
Male Voice: I can answer that!
It was the Fenton Crew, Danny "Daniel" Fenton, Danielle Masters-Fenton (Vlad's daughter/Danny's Clone), Tucker Folly and Sam Manson-Fenton.
Danny Fenton/D. Phantom: You see, in one of our missions of keeping the balance between the Physical world and the Ghost Zone, I've done some recon from the inside. Skulker, the "Ghost Hunter" and his girlfriend… Ember McClain figured that there had been illegal ghost trafficking and using them as slaves. I vowed to hunt the perpetrator when I met one of your friends, codename - Dark Slayer V.
Flashback -During Meta-Ban in Michigan: Hammurabi Arc-
Dark Slayer/V: So this is the realm of spirits connecting to the Purgatory of Souls. Interesting.
Ember: Who are supposed to be?
Dark Slayer/V: I am Gilbert Bluehide or call me, the Dark Slayer. My real name however is Vergil Sparda.
Danny Fenton/D. Phantom: Wait! You're from the Cicadas from Michigan! Why are you here? This is my case!
Dark Slayer/V: My brother, Dante. You know him as Blade Master Alastor or Antonio Redgrave. You see, he's invited to a party thanks to Ms. Luan Loud's invitation. Due to her busy schedule, she cannot go so she gave it to her brother. Which in turn was given to us since he is in a mission as Code 01: Igneous. Long story short, I'm stuck with this but sensed that lingering spirits are thrashing the mortal realm so I came to investigate.
Skulker: I see. I sense a powerful aura from you. Perhaps you could assist Daniel here on our behalf to settle a bargain.
Dark Slayer/V: Bargain? What could a wraith bargain with him? Then again, the boy is a half-phantasm.
Danny: They wanted a second chance in the physical world. I figured that they came to visit because of lingering earthly tethers that could possibly corrupt them. Desiree, the wish ghost was sealed in a lamp that could only be released by a worthy master since the last sultan she loved had a jealous wife from his harem. Which caused her to be exiled and abandoned to her grief. Maybe in finding her own self-worth, she can be free of her malice and let her cross La Xibalba and walk the Purgatory of Souls for her Paradise.
Dark Slayer/V: Not a very good idea but tactful and could be effective.
Danny: It is, now she's free to cross the realms with her new love. Unbound by the malice. Ever since Pariah Dark and prince Aragon's banishment to the eternal void, there had been new rulers of the Ghost Zone. Benevolent queens and princesses.
Dark Slayer/V: And from that, the balance is restored. I see. Very well, I shall help you in this endeavor.
End Flashback.
Danny: We reached the party where I saw V's brother, Alastor. We figured he was a lookout since he sensed the malice and well, things had gotten out of hand from there…
Flashback
Danny: These are the illegal ghostly immigrants that had been trafficked here! We have to set them free and return them back to the Ghost Zone.
Tucker: On it! V, if you would.
Dark Slayer slashed his katana and freed the lingering wraiths from their traps. Tucker then used the Fenton Ecto-Thermos to seal them within. Sam then took the thermos and using a mini-portal, she transports the spirits back to the Ghost Realm. But instead of meeting with malice, Walker… the chief police of the Ghost Zone gave transport them to obtain their traversal licenses. Seemed that the ranger had a change of heart since Pariah Dark's banishment to the Eternal Void, along with prince Aragon.
Danielle: Mission accomplished! We can check on Princess Dorathea if the kidnapped immigrants are returned home!
Dark Slayer/V: Not yet. I sensed malice… greed! And it's from a half-specter like you and your cousin.
Woman's Voice: So, you've figured me out!
Charlene Tanner aka. Spirit. Luan's Business Rival and A greedy meta-human. Powers: Ecto-kinesis (Ghost Powers). Level: Advanced… lower than Danielle (Intermediate) and Danny (Divine).
Dark Slayer/V: Those who Greed view as their right. May spend Eternity deprived of Light. The Terrorist who spreads his Hate. Will discover his Devil inside too late.
Charlene: And what is that supposed to be? My rights to remain silent? My warrant of arrest? Then, you'll never take me alive!
Alastor/Dante(Tony): Actually, we have you surrounded! Get her!
Skulker and other ghost agents like Kitty and 13/Shadow attacked Charlene but using her powers, she escaped. Danny and Danielle commenced transformation and fired ecto-energy blast. Charlene countered with her own. Danny then used both his Wail of the Specter and Ghostly Frostbite to keep Tanner in check. Sensing that an attack incoming, Tanner erected a ectoplasmic barrier to deflect Danielle's energy blast and Ember's ghostly flames. Skulker used Technus's arsenal to create an energy blade and attack but Charlene went invisible/intangible. Thinking she is safe, Vergil did his Dimension Slash and cut through spaces, creating a vacuum that would have pulled her to the Void but she fled away. Dante then used his Coyote-A to fire demonic-energy bullets that will harm even a specter in its intangible form. Vergil then used summoned swords to pin her down but she struggles to loosen the sword that nailed her clothes to a wall.
Alastor/Dante(Tony): For the crimes of greed and using illegal immigrants for your business. You are hereby declared guilty. Not only that but endangerment of both civilians and spiritual balance of the realms of cosmos, death would be a mercy for you.
Dark Slayer/V: Sending her to the Nether would be advised so that you should never harm anyone again.
Charlene: No, please! Anything but Hell. Please have mercy. All I wanted is to survive and had enough money to keep.
Dark Slayer/V: AND YET YOU'VE DECIDE THAT IT IS ALRIGHT TO ENDANGER INNOCENTS!
Alastor/Dante(Tony): Let's not forget, she's not a Cicada nor a Hammurabi. Thus she doesn't have licence and if the latter caught her, she's dead either way.
Charlene: No! I can't die… not now or ever. Not, especially that the "clown" is out of commission.
Dark Slayer/V: Clown… you say. And who is this clown you speak of? Tell me or the tongue of yours is out!
Charlene: Another meta-human. She can use force-fields and invisibility. I heard she quits the clown business after being afraid of this dang law of meta-ban! Luan Loud is her name.
Alastor/Dante(Tony): That's the girl that gave us the invitation!
Charlene: What!? Then she didn't come at all! I could have humiliated her!
Dark Slayer/V: Be silent! I see, the sister of my friend is your target. Well, this is interesting.
Alastor/Dante(Tony): Whoa! We're not gonna kill her, Verge! We came to arrest her!
Danny: And I know just how!
Danny used his Ecto-Thermos and since Tanner is half-ghost, she is also affected by this sealing device. She was sent to the Ghost Zone as punishment for her crimes. Princess Dorathea ensured that she will be rehabilitated and given proper correction for her wrongs.
Flashback Ends
Danny: The last thing that Dark Slayer told me is, You will never know what is enough unless you know what is more than enough. I didn't know what that meant until this came up.
Lincoln/Phoenix: I see. She was punished enough for her crimes but we've forgotten to have her released since the war against the Hexians and Tri-Hexa/Delgaia (Pandora's Son: Chaos).
Luan/Mystica: So, she was trapped there all along?! Is this what this mission is about.
Danny: Not just that but, I needed help since the organization named "Guys in White" are still thinks that having the Ghost Portal post a threat to the security of Amity Park. Now they got stuck there and couldn't escape. And another is that someone there is in trouble.
Luan/Mystica: Well, we better get going then.
And so Lincoln, Luan, Jor-El, and Liby had set course to Fenton Corp, Amity Park Branch. Soothsayer, teleported them there to investigate. Meanwhile in the Ghost Zone, Charlene Tanner is fighting in an Egyptian-themed arena for her own life. To see if she value virtue and freedom more than her greed. How did this occur? Well, more flashbacks then.
Flashback -When Charlene was imprisoned in the Ghost Zone-
Charlene was sent to the Ghost Zone, a realm of specters. Similar to the Ledgerdomain and La Xibalba, the realm is a purgatory of souls lost and lingers in the mortal realm due to their attachments. And coincidentally, the three lands are called "The Necropolis between Scala ad Caelum and the Netherworld" and considered as the Purgatory of Souls.
Instead of meeting Walker, she was sent to an Egyptian-themed temple where a couple awaits her for her trial. There also awaits a jackal-headed guardsman, and a Woman with beautiful yet scaley complexion with garments of Egyptian royalty.
Charlene: Where am I?
Jackal guard: Welcome to the Gates of Judgement, here in Ghost Realm. Where ghosts and half-specters are judged to see if you are worthy of residence here as sanctuary or to be punished in the Desert Blaze of Seth, the Suriman deity of the Burning Sands and Evil.
Charlene: Suriman?
Jackal Guard: Suriman, from Surima… the mystical Sanctum of Egypt that was once ruled by King Osiris, lord of life, death and rebirth. Husband of Isis, lady of Suriman mystic arts. They both reside here since their death. Now, Horus, lord of speed and air rules Surima with his grandfather, Ra, the lord of light and sun, apprentice of Uriel. My name is Anubis, lord of dead and judgement. There sits at the throne is Ra's former rival, now queen of this Realm.
Charlene followed Anubis where she observed the people there, even Sobek (former lord of the Nile waters), Osiris, Isis, Sphinx (lord of riddles) and at the lower floors is the punisher, Seth; brother of Osiris. When they reached the throne room, they saw the scaley woman and princess Dorathea.
Dorathea: Is she the one that caused the havoc?
Anubis: I have brought her here, princess and queen.
The scaley woman then stood and introduced herself with her splendor.
Ghost Queen: I am Apep but you can call me Ophis or Apophis, the queen of ghosts and the devouring lady of darkness. I am born from the umbilical cord of Delgaia/Chaos and was once wife of Ra, lord of sun. If I would have my way, I would asked my son, Khonsu; lord of the moon and night to have you suffer the Blaze of Seth for your affront. But I have a task for you, in bargain for your freedom you must do this successfully.
Charlene: Please, anything to be free. I'll do it.
Apophis: Good task is simple. In the arena, there are several matches and combatants. They are specters and demons from the Netherworld and currently held Hathor, lady of love and former mistress of the west. She is the beloved of Horus, son of Osiris and Isis. My own grandson's better half. Your task is to free her from there by enduring the battles and taking the keys as your reward. Should you flee, you'll be sent to Seth's burning Sands immediately without a second blink. Should you succeed, you'll be free to wander off and find you place to reside or return to the mortal realm.
Flashback ends.
And so here we are, seeing that Charlene is at the final round of her game. Battle after battle, she endured just to free Hathor and herself from their prisons. Will Lincoln, Luan, Liby and Jor-El succeed in finding and rescuing her? Or will they fail and have the half-specter be eternally tormented by the Sands of Seth?
The result is up to you guys. But know this isn't the end for Charlene Tanner aka. Spirit or rather… Poltergeist!

AN: A cliffhanger in a middle of a Secret Report? Unexpected, am I right? Also, noticed that there are too many Egyptian-themed lore since the Greek-Roman, Norse, Abrahamic (Judea-Christian, Islamic), and other myths besides Egyptians. Another thing is that Smoking Wrecker and Zachlor16 named Charlene as Spirit but it kinda felt terrible (like Lincoln said from the Smoking Wrecker version) so I made adjustments and have her don the name, Poltergeist! She was meant to be a greedy woman that only performs for the money and not for the entertainment of her costumers but her greed caused her to harm innocents (civilians and specters) so as for Danny Phantom's request, had her arrested and sent to the Ghost Zone. But she will learn redemption after fighting in the arena to rescue Hathor. Not only that but she grew afraid of her own mortal life ever since she met Dark Slayer.
Welp, that's all for now I guess. Notice that I've put a specific fanfiction of mine into indefinite hiatus. That fanfic is a request from crafordbrian17 and I haven't been motivated to write his request ever since the end of Pesach week since he just can't take a hint if people are doing okay or they are taking a Holiday Break. For real, respect other people's beliefs if you want to be heard or respected as well! But I think I've ignored him was too long enough. I'll hear him out if he talked to me. I'll listen.
