2 Years Later...
"What happened next Daddy?" Came a tiny voice.
"Patience Darling, I'm getting there." Frieza replied.
She bounces up and down with a smile. While clutching her stuffed bunny. Something he just found utterly adorable. Kira was a happy and very active child. She was also very bright for such a young age. Hitting all of her milestones very early. Something that surprised Christina, and not so much Frieza. Because he excelled very early on in a lot of things as well. Everyday spent with Kira and Christina was a gift for him. Something he reminds his Wife of every single year on their Anniversary.
Yes, they ended up tying the knot when Kira was just under a year old. It was nothing big or exquisite. It was a nice small ceremony on the beach with family and close friends. Certainly was an amazing day to remember, even the parts that seemed embarrassing. They thought the Caterer was going to kill them. Especially, when Lord Beerus bet he could put away more food than Goku and Vegeta combined. That made for an awkward Reception.
Not to mention, Mr. Satan getting belligerently drunk after a few drinks, and blabbing about all of his best victories. Best of all; he felt the need to do so over a microphone. Before he ran off, covering his mouth, and puking under a nearby palm tree. It didn't help that he still had the microphone in one hand. So everyone could hear him clearly over the loud speaker; puking his brains out.
Despite all of that, Frieza fondly remembers how beautiful his Wife looked, in her simple white tea length summer dress. Christina was not one for fanciness. So she didn't go all out on some tacky expensive wedding gown. Her Father couldn't contain his proud smile as he walked her down the aisle in the sand. Her Mother had Kira in her lap and was sitting with her in the very front row. The infant was in a similar white sundress and had a white headband with a flower on it on her head.
He almost tore Vegeta a new asshole, because the saiyan prince could tell his former Master was very nervous. Vegeta kept teasing him saying he was getting cold feet. Frieza at some point, lost his cool and told him to; 'Shut the Hell Up!'. Luckily, Bulma was there to defuse the situation, and pull Vegeta away to help her with something. Thankfully, the ceremony went smoothly.
"So, they came in to take you're Mother away. But I wasn't going to allow it. I was ready to fight them all, before I'd let them take her. It was only when a soldier came in and held a gun to my head, that you're Mother pleaded with me to let her go." He continued.
Kira cocked her head to the side slightly, "Why?"
"Because, I was scared that they were going to really hurt you're Daddy." Came a voice from the doorway.
Frieza looked over his shoulder with a soft smile, when he saw Christina standing there. She smiled back and entered the room, and sat on the bed with them.
"I figured it was just better at the time to listen to them. Because, Mommy would've been heart broken if they did hurt him or worse." Christina said.
"What happened then?" Kira asked, as she scooted closer.
"They ended up leaving the cell with her and brought her down to their Medical Room. Meanwhile, I was still in the cell; completely beside myself with fear and worry. The only thing going through my mind; was how I could break out of those restraints that were containing my power. It was the only solution I had, so I could save her and you. All while escaping with you two unharmed." He explained.
Frieza still remembers it like yesterday. All the that fear, rage, and anguish he felt at being so helpless and unable to help her. It's what motivated him though, because all those emotions were unknowingly making his power skyrocket. Once he pushed it up to the surface, it was like a dam bursting, as a rush of power pulsated throughout his body, and breaking the restraints in the process.
It was a form he had never went to before. The form was so intense, that he at first thought he wouldn't be able to maintain control over it. Yet, during such a dire time, manage it he did. While he fought his way through the compound, Frieza found that the form hardly drained him of energy and actually seemed very simple to hold; something that didn't happen when he first unlocked his Golden Form.
A small part of him was unsure he'd be able to reach that superb level again. But thanks to Whis's Training, he was able to manage it again. It wasn't the easiest training that the former tyrant ever endured. His saiyan comrades weren't kidding when they said the Angel's training was intense. Throw Lord Beerus into the mix and it became even more extreme.
When Frieza was finally able to regulate the new form, the Destroyer God couldn't resist having a sparring match with the Arcosian Warrior. Frieza was surprised that Lord Beerus wanted to even engage him in combat, and it made him feel guarded. Never before had he challenged the deity in a fight. Even Frieza knew to challenge him would've been suicide.
The former Galactic Emperor accepted, because he knew that it would not get to the point where his life would be in danger. It was only sparring and not a fight to the death. It was a pretty epic fight, that lasted for quite sometime. Even Lord Beerus was feeling exhilarated during the battle. Because the last time he had such a close fight; was when he fought Goku during his very first visit to Earth, while looking for a super saiyan god. Even Whis was impressed by the outcome.
Frieza still may have not won that fight, but he pushed Lord Beerus enough, just like Goku did. The Destroyer said, he wouldn't mind having another sparring session with him in the future. Another has yet to happen though. Still, all three fighters have continued to improve greatly over these last years since the Tournament of Power.
Of course, Goku has been nagging Lord Beerus and Whis to set up another Tournament like that again. As always, they gave him a definitive; 'No'. Though they have mentioned the possibility of having another small tournament against the Sixth Universe again at some point. In which, Lord Beerus would always agree to one, because he just loved showing up his brother; Champa.
Now, with a few strings pulled, they were able to schedule another mini tournament with the Sixth. It was currently only a couple weeks away, and Lord Beerus was pressing them on their training. Let's face it, if there was one thing the Destroyer hated; it was losing to his Brother. Though Frieza, Goku, and Vegeta could care less about the family feud. They just wanted to test their ever growing skills with the other warriors.
"It worked, because you did save me and Mommy." Kira said.
"Yes, and I swore then and there, that I would never let anyone harm you or you're Mother again. And I always plan to keep that promise." Frieza said, as he tucked a long lock of brown hair behind the toddler's shoulder.
Kira smiled and cozied up to her Daddy. Pressing her cheek against his chest. Frieza wrapped his arms around her back. Their little girl was quite tough, but she was also the biggest cuddle bug.
"Love you, Daddy." She says.
Frieza leans down to kiss the top of her head.
"I love you too, my little Kira." He whispers.
Christina smiled at the cute scene. Kira may sometimes spend more time with her, especially when Frieza would be off training. But she was still very much a Daddy's Girl. Even though he never spends more than several hours training, she misses him when he goes. Luckily, her Mommy knows how to keep her occupied.
Despite her schedule, Christina always found the time to teach her daughter the finer points of Ballet. Something Kira has come to enjoy, and it filled her Mother with pride that she could share something so special with her; such as Ballet. She definitely has the edge for it too. Naturally graceful and filled with determination.
Kira also showed interest in Martial Arts. It started when Frieza allowed her to watch some of their training. She thought it was very neat. But was a little disappointed when her Daddy told her she had to wait another year, before she can start training with him. In the mean time, he was glad she was taking up Ballet with her Mom. The dancing will help build up her balance, agility, and stamina. They could possibly incorporate some of the dance moves into fighting moves.
At least that's what Whis suggested, as he watched Christina give Kira Ballet Lessons. Frieza found the suggestion odd, but he knew the Angel had his own reasons behind it. So he didn't question it further. He was just happy to see his family enjoying favorite pastimes. Frieza knew Christina was happy to share her biggest passion which was Ballet, with their daughter.
Kira then scooted over to her Mommy and gave her a hug next.
"I love you too, Mommy." She said.
Christina ran her fingers through her daughter's hair and kissed the top of her head.
"I love you too, Sweetheart." She replied.
Both of them tucked her into bed.
"Goodnight, we'll see you in the morning." They told her.
"Can we have chocolate chip pancakes?" She asked, with a smile.
They got a good chuckle out of the cutesy look she was giving them as she asked.
"Ok, but what do you say?" Her Daddy asked.
"Please?" Kira added.
"Well, since you asked nicely, then yes." He playfully teased.
Kira let out a little giggle. Always enjoying when they were being playful with her. They gave her one last kiss, and she returned it. Before snuggling under the covers with her stuffed bunny. Anubis stayed, the large canine laid down near the foot of the toddler's bed.
They quietly retreated from her room and left the door ajar on the way out. Then Frieza and Christina cut through their room and entered the balcony.
It was a beautiful night out. Clear with tons of stars lighting up the sky, surrounding a large full moon. Christina leaned against the balcony railing and gazed upwards with a serene smile. Frieza came up behind her and rested his chin on her shoulder, while wrapping his arms around her waist.
"You have a good day today, Love?" He asks.
She looked over her shoulder slightly.
"Yeah." Christina replied.
Then she turned a little more and pulled him in for a kiss. He gladly reciprocated, pressing his tongue against her lips. Christina opened her mouth and let him deepen the kiss. She slowly wrapped her arms around his neck and pressed her front to his. The amazing kiss lasted for quite sometime, until they had to pull back for some air.
He rested his forehead against hers, never breaking eye contact.
"Happy Anniversary." She breathed out.
Frieza gave her a small peck.
"And many more to come." He replied.
They couldn't ask for a more perfect ending to an amazing fun filled day. The three of them borrowed one of Bulma's cruisers and took it down to her private island and had a blast at the beach. Everything from making sand castles to jumping in the waves. Then afterwards, they treated themselves to some sundaes.
"That's a long time for me to drive you crazy." She joked.
Frieza lifts her up by the waist and swings her around in a circle. Causing small peals of laughter to erupt from her.
"And here, that is what I thought what makes our relationship more fun." He says, as he puts her back down.
"That can't be the only thing that makes married life fun." She quips.
He smirks, and gives her a light, playful swat to the ass. Christina yelped in surprise and tossed him an accusatory look.
"Among other things." He says, with a slight chuckle.
Frieza rests his left hand over hers. Where they wore two matching bands on their ring fingers. He interlaced his with hers as they both looked up at the starlit sky. If you look closely at the inside of the bands, you will see a small inscription there that says...
"LOVE ETERNAL."
That's the conclusion to the story. Again, hope everyone enjoyed it, and please feel free to leave some Reviews! Until Next Time, LunaWolf out! ;)
