Chapter 31.
(Scott POV)
We were waiting for Dacia coming. She also could be coming with Maddy, Emma and Dan.
But When Dacia got there only She got out.
"Where is she?" Rhyd said.
"Maddy and her Parents are already left the country, Beacon Hills by aircraft. Derek Hale is picking then up," Dacia said.
"Derek Isn't that," Shan said.
"Cora's Brother, Yeah," I said.
"Call the Aircraft. You can get them back," Rhyd said.
"It's too late," Dacia said.
"You said you could help," Tom said.
"I said I'd try," Dacia said.
"There must be something we can do," Shan said.
"There is, I'm going after them," Rhyd said.
But before I could say anything he was already going.
"He can't get to Beacon Hills right," Shan said.
"Don't know, But there is no chance he is getting there alone, I'm going after him," I said. Heading off after him.

But Rhyd was gone. So I went and got a few things back home and Ran for the Cache and got an M9 out and closed it up and went after him. By time I catched up with him, he was next to those same 2 from before.
"Oi," I said.
"How did you catch up," Rhyd said.
"Ran at my full, Still can," I said.
Then they took off.
"Why were they here?" I said.
"Doesn't matter come on," Rhyd said as we followed them. "Mum, What happened?"
Then I saw Jana.
"She's been shot," Ceri said.
"Jana, Hey," I said.
"Where can we go?" Ceri said.
"Back to mine, Come on," I said. As I managed to Pick Her up against me and we headed back to mine. "What happened?"
"A traveller was on our territory. He came looking for us with a gun," Jana said.
"Bloody Hunters," I said.
"Jana took wolf form to lead him away, but she wasn't fast enough," Aran said.
"Rhyd get the key," I said. As he left.
"It's good to see you," Jana said.
"You too," I said. As I saw Rhyd opening the door. "Come on," As I managed to get her in and then over to the sofa. Putting her down on it nice and easy.
"I thought it would heal, I have the remedies to prevent infection," Ceri said.
"What about the tame wolves, Will they help," Aran said.
"They're not here anymore," Rhyd said.
"What?" Ceri said.
"Just me, Rhyd, my room there a green bag bring it down," I said.
"What happened?" Jana said.
"Whitewood, What else," I said.
"Where are they?" Jana said.
"Heading back to my pack back in Beacon Hill's," I said.
"How long?" Jana said.
"After a week you left," I said.
"Scott," Jana said.
"So we brought our Alpha for nothing," Meinir said.
"Not exactly, You said it wasn't healing," I said.
"Yes," Ceri said.
"Okay that's means 2 things, 1, there must of be a coating of something on it," I said.
"What is the second one," Ceri said.
"The bullet is still in her," I said.
"Meaning I can't heal," Jana said.
"Yeah, either one it could be, How bad is it?" I said.
"It sore," Jana said. As I grabbed her hand.
"What are you doing?" Aran said.
"Shut up and watch," I said.
Taking some of it off her till there was black veins of her pain coming through, but I couldn't keep it as I stopped.
"Ow," I said.
"What?" Meinir said.
"How's that," I said.
"Better for now," Jana said.
"Let's get you upstairs," I said Picking her up again and took her upstairs towards my room.
"I missed you," Jana said.
"Missed you too, Jana," I said.
Then got into my room and put her down on my bed.
"So how can you help," Aran said.
"Here," Rhyd said.
"First I need to know, If the bullet is still in," I said. Getting the torch out. "Okay, This may hurt,"
"Worse then it is now," Jana said.
"Maybe," I said. Lighting the torch up and having a look. But there was some yellow stuff on the wound so I manage to get some of it. "Shit,"
"What," Rhyd said.
"Wolfsbanes, But this shouldn't be affecting her like this," I said taking another look and saw a bullet still there. "The bullet is still in it too,"
"Meaning," Aran said.
"It won't heal," I said.
"Can't you get it out," Jana said.
"Not without it hurting a lot more than what it is now," I said.
"Wait, outside, Ceri will stay with me," Jana said. "Tell him,"
"The bullet is too deep for me to remove, It's poisoning her," Ceri said.
"I saw, but I tell what kind of bullet it was," I said. "But if it is poisoning her, it's silver, If we don't get it out soon,"
"I will die," Jana said.
"Yeah," I said.
"They don't know, do they?" Rhyd said.
"They'd replace me as pack leader if they thought I wouldn't live," Jana said.
"It is their nature, To need a strong Alpha," Ceri said.
"It's bullshit, that what it is," I said.
"Tom'll will know what to do," Rhyd said.
"You called them right," I said.
"Yeah," Rhyd said.
"Best get down if they show up," I said. As Rhyd left.
"Damn it," Jana said.
"How many more times can you do it," Ceri said.
"Not many," I said taking some more than had to stop again.
then tom and Shan came in.
"Hey," Jana said.
"Hey," Shan and Tom said.
"So what has been happening," Jana said.
"Well Bernie's retired to Spain, and Katrina's family have taken over the cafe," Shan said.
"Guess what colour it is now," Tom said.
"Every colour," Jana said.
"Correct," Shan said.
"What else is new," I said. "Anyway Derek should get to me by time they get there,"
"Cora," Jana said.
"She went with them," I said.
"It was so good went we were a pack," Shan said.
"Blame Whitewood for that," I said.
"Yeah it was really go fun," Jana said.
"You are staying anyway till you get your strength back," I said.
"Yeah," Shan said.
"You still got it right?" I said.
"Yea," Jana said passing it.
"Put some more on for you," I said.
"Thanks," Jana said.
"Rhyd said he was getting someone," I said.
"Told him too," Tom said.
"But he can't call a hospital since they would call the police and do blood test, One other person is, Dacia, She the only one who he can call for help," I said.
"Get away from my Alpha," Aran said coming in.
"This is my place, Back off," I said.
"Aran," Jana said.
"Tempting her to stay in your world," Aran said.
"I said Enough," I said letting my Eyes go red.
"No one is tempting anyone anywhere," Rhyd said.
"You are lying," Aran said. "That is why you brought them here,"
"No I brought them here to see her again," I said. "You came here for our help, And that is exactly what we're getting,"
"Scott," Shan said.
"Shit, Jana," I said.
"Is she," Rhyd said.
"She is alive, Just," Ceri said.
"Damn, Rhyd how much longer till she gets here," I said.
"I think she just did," Rhyd said.
"Go," I said.
"Is there something you can do?" Ceri said.
"One thing, but I don't think she is strong enough to let it in," I said.
then Rhyd and Dacia came in.
"Where is the Doc," I said.
"What another patient," Dacia said.
"We don't have that kind of time," I said.
"This isn't right, She should breathe her last breathe in the wilderness, like the wolf she is," Meinir said.
"She's not dead yet," I said.
"A wolf?" Rhyd said.
"Don't write me of yet, Meinir," Jana said. "Will it work,"
"Normally, yes, but you are getting weaker and weaker. It could kill you," I said.
"Like a wolf?" Rhyd said.
"What?" I said.
"Like a wolf," Rhyd said. "Yes I've got an emergency,"
"Finally," Tom said.
then Rhyd got off the phone.
"You not thinking what I think you said," I said.
"Yeah," Rhyd said.
"What?" Jana said.
"You still strong enough to shift into your wolf," I said.
"Yes, Why?" Jana said.
As we got her down.
"You're sure you can do this?" I said.
"If Ceri Can, I can," Jana said.
Then we heard a car and Rhyd went out.
"See you on the other side," I said.
"Yeah," Jana said. Then she shifted into her Wolf form, I missed seeing her in her Red wolf form. As Rhyd was out. I got Aran and Meinir down to the Den.
Then I went back up where Rhyd was just coming in with her.
"On the table," Rhyd said.
"That's not a dog," She said.
"I may not have told the whole truth," Rhyd said.
"Ceri Jones. I'm a zoologist. I study Wolves," Ceri said.
"We found her in the woods. and called Dr. Jones here," I said.
"She said we needed a vet," Rhyd said.
"She's been shot," Tom said.
"What a shame, Such a beautiful animal," She said. "It's probably best if you all wait outside,"
"What are you doing?" Rhyd said.
"Sorry," She said. "But it's better than allowing her to suffer any more,"
"No," I said.
"That is a wild animal, It knows it's dying," She said. "otherwise you would have been attacked,"
"Cut the horseshit," I said. "She's not going to hurt you, Maybe just wanna meet you,"
"Okay, but you all have to be out of the way," she said.
"Back before you know it," I said Patting Jana's Wolf head before heading. Then went down.
"She's under anaesthetic, Right," Dacia said.
"Yeah," I said.
"So what if she loses the wolf? Becomes human," Dacia said.
"I didn't think of that," Rhyd said.
"Ceri won't allow it," Aran said.
"How can she stop it? Jana's unconscious," Rhyd said.
"Doesn't matter as long as Jana stays as a wolf till she's gone," I said.
"What happened to Maddy wasn't you fault, I shouldn't have blamed you, I'm sorry," Rhyd said.
"At least she's with her family now," Dacia said. "So take my advice for a little while, Stay with yours,"
"She's right. Besides," I said.
"Besides what?" Shan said.
"You are leaving aren't you?" Tom said.
"After this year of school, Yeah, I'm heading home," I said.
Shan's phone rang waking up Aran and Meinir.
"Sorry," Shan said.
"Easy you to. It's not going to hurt you," I said.
"Oh no, it's Harry," Shan said. As Tom and I laugh.
"Shan you're going have to talk to him sometime, Go on," I said.
Which Shan manages to bs her way off.
"Nice Shan. But you should go, Both of you. back to school," I said.
"No way," Tom said.
"This is where we belong right now. Wolfblood or not," Shan said.
"I'm not going to ask," I said.
"I'm sorry, We are a pack, I shouldn't have said it. it wasn't fair," Rhyd said.
"Yeah, too right it wasn't," Tom said.
"Of course we are a pack," Rhyd said.
"Apology accepted," Shan said.
"About time," I said.
"I'm just a big softy. you know that," Tom said.
Once the vet was gone we headed up where we could move Jana back into bed where she was human again.
"The poison's gone," Jana said. "I can feel it,"
"We should get back before school rings and checks up on us," Shan said.
"Don't scare me like that," I said.
"No promises," Jana said.
"Thank you both of you," Aran said. "She would not have survived without you,"
"Thank you, you brought her all the way here," Shan said.
"See you later," I said as they headed.
Then Jana wanted downstairs so I carried her down.
"I don't like her going back without us," Ceri said.
"The pack needs to know she's alive," I said.
"A pack with no leader has no centre. no direction, Scott's right. They need to know I'm alive and returning soon," Jana said. "She well tell them,"
Then I grabbed something and headed out to her.
"Here, Something for the road," I said Passing her the bag.
As Meinir took it and then headed on.
"What was in that?" Aran said.
"Food, For the road," I said.
Then I headed in.
"So what now?" Jana said.
"You are staying here till you get your strength back," I said.
"I'll go check on Aran," Ceri said heading out.
"I missed you," Jana said. "Since I left,"
"Me too, even if I still had Cora. But still missed you," I said.
"Well, we are back together, for however long that is," Jana said.
"Yeah," I said. Sitting down and pulled Jana into me. As Jana snuggled into me.
"Any news yet," Jana said.
"Only been a day, If they are just only left the country, It will take them another 2 days to reach Beacon Hill's, Derek will set them up with a place," I said.
"Derek," Jana said.
"Cora's brother," I said. "He is the one watching my pack back there,"
"Where?" Jana said.
"Derek Owns an Apartment building which he rents out. Plus the others will set them up with a way to contact us back here soon enough so we just wait," I said.
"I love you Scott," Jana said.
"Love you too Jana," I said.
