A Sad Boy in a Tree house

Chapter 32

Shattered Pride

In the dark, hidden away from the public, the underground, just about everyone except for three persons. His doctor, his transport, and his future successor. It had been many years since he had the pleasure to see the sunlight. His vision taken by that muscular buffoon oh so long ago. While he had ruled over the country and parts of the world for so long, it had been out of sight. Not like he could complain, he got what he wanted in the end of every scenario. Yet All Might, the bearer of that accursed quirk, is worshipped openly by everyone while he was here rotting away.

That recognition, that power, that worship, he wanted it. Around ten years ago he got his chance, to flip the tables and rule not just Japan but the entire world. Then he discovered a project, a very intriguing project that could change what it meant to be alive

The cybermen. Some American company had sprung themselves out of nowhere and he managed to get a sample of that technology. It was remarkable, so much so that it gave someone the capacity to carry multiple quirks and still function. Of course his own projects kept failing, so he had to go to the source of the technology itself and learn more. He funded them, helped grow their facilities to stretch across the states.

He wanted personal handcrafted soldiers who obeyed every word, and with the strength of multiple quirks per metal man they would be unstoppable. Unfortunately he got too eager, stretched himself too thin and before he could get the results he wanted it went wrong. All Might had caught wind of it, and was close to finding him while voicing his concerns with the project.

There was no choice, but to settle for the base models that were completed and start his revolution early. All across America the facilities started converting as many as they could get their hands on. Only the best quirks and military standing a chance against one, but not that many. While he fought All Might his army would continue on, taking the world by force for him with no emotions.

Yes, he wished they could retain their emotions but only to fear him, but that took away their sanity and functionality. That's why he failed, there was a boy, a single boy who took advantage of that fact and turned off that particular function. His army fell, he was defeated, and his dreams nearly died.

That's when he found that boy, that quirkless hopeless boy left to die. The good doctor offered to turn him into an idea he had, a Nomu, but what would any dying powerless person want? A new body, a strong invincible body. Using the rest of his cybertech he invested it not in himself, but in the boy. With the best of what he had he managed to create his ideal Cyberman. Able to hold multiple quirks, think for himself, and use his arsenal to carry out whatever All for One wished for. After that he wished to restore himself, but needed a strong healthy copy to move himself into. That fear manifestation quirk would have worked wonders, but there was an unforeseen complication.

Emotion overcame his creation's rational thought when presented with someone that had the same name and face. All for One would be frustrated as well if someone stole his identity and lived his original dream while he was left scraping the barrel. Now, poor Midoriya had to live with no emotion because of his failure.

Yet, it piqued his curiosity. He looked into this false person and discovered some very interesting things. A genius, from his childhood he went around to every college and earned himself every degree to exist. Yet no trails of plane tickets, taxis, no trace of him moving besides walking or occasionally taking the train. He tried having him followed, only to be lost time and time again. An impossible boy, who took on the name and face of a random quirkless child.

It made him wonder, if they were the same child, this one and the one that stopped him oh so long ago. Yet there was proof they were two different people, cameras showed him cooking a souffle at a cooking school at the same time he was being vanquished. Even he couldn't be in two places at once, let alone as quirkless.

So, as of now he settled for absorbing the media that showcased UA's bright students who violently hurt each other for entertainment. Without eyes it made it hard, but the right quirk that let him have multiple screens running into his mind let him enjoy what he might have missed. Many wonderful quirks, it had been a long time since he treated himself to one.

Or

He might end up finding a way to procure that android. The idea of having heroes replaced by them in the future was intoxicating if he could gain control. That inventor also demonstrated technology that turned any untrained civilian into a force to be reckoned with. Perhaps he should set a lure at I-island, getting that girl to blindly trust someone to share her inventions with. It would be inevitable for her to be there, after this she would certainly be invited.

Pressing a button on his chair, he summoned his wonderful butler to his side.

"Yes?" Kurogiri asked.

"Tell Giran to find me someone who can get into I-island for me."

"Right away."

Toru plopped down in her seat in her class's spot in the audience, letting her mind numb instead of think about...well all that just happened. She trusted Midoriya, he proved himself at USJ. Somehow they got out of that place and no one died. At least, she hoped not.

No, no more thinking just...relaaaax.

"Where have you been?!"

"AH!"

Whyyyy, she just wanted to take a nap. You would think that being the invisible person in the class no one would notice you were gone, but apparently Mina did. Wait, no way Toru could say anything about what just happened!

Creepy mirror people, being the only one to move freely through it, Endeavor being there and fighting his reflection, a child talking about the unborn in a spooky voice!

Fake it till you make it.

"Uuuuuhhh...Bathroom?"

Yeah, like anyone was going to believe that.

"Oh, totally get it." Mina waved off, sitting next to her.

Um, ok then. "So, what did I miss?" She asked.

"There were some good fights, but remember that girl who made the robochic?"

"You mean android?"

"Whatever! She has been dominating! Seriously, if I could bring armor and flamethrowers and jetpacks I totally would have!"

Sero jumped in, joining their ranting. "Don't forget bringing your own robotic supergirl! She shoots lasers from her eyes, is super tough, and wicked fast! If she was a real girl I'd totally ask her on a date."

"Won't stop me." The class pervert/dwarf grinned, drool coming from his mouth as he zoned out. "You think I could ask that crazy girl to make me one?"

….

"Screw this, I'm not going to sit here and listen to a horny midget's fantasy. I got a match with a wannabe bounty hunter and her toy."

Katsuki Bakugo stomped out, to a lot of the class's understanding. Kinks were one thing, but to obsess over them openly is another.

Toru felt like there was more tension in his voice than usual, but she hardly wanted to do anything confrontational for a while. Nap time.

Mei took off her helmet, placing it on her workbench and taking out the t-visor. Her maid sat beside it, hooking herself up to the computer and smiling happily. She kicked her legs as Mei went to work again. Mei would have to dim the light intake to make up for those flashy explosives so they don't blind her. Yet if she switched to thermal then she would be blinded from the quick changes too! ARGH! Mei should have installed a visual adjustment computer but she couldn'tgetheheatsinktoexpelproperlywhilekeepingaproperdurability

"Hey Mei."

"TEACHER!"

Grabbing the nearest wrench she threw it near the door. Izuku jumped to the side as Nejire blasted it on reflex. It soared right back at the pink haired girl, and stopped, yanked from the air by Mei's lovely mute android who looked so pleased with herself.

"What was that for!" Izuku shouted.

"SCREWDRIVER! GIMME!" She bolted, going for his shirt pocket. He took a step to the side, letting her crash on the floor. There was a chance he would have been more careful but she was wearing the best armor in the world at the moment.

"No, that's not how we ask for things."

"BUT!-"

"No."

"I NEED-"

"No."

Geez! Why did he have to be so stubborn sometimes! She would have asked nicely if he had been here helping her like he said he would. He's been gone almost the whole tournament, talk about rude! Her pouting was very, very noticing, but instead of asking Mei what was wrong he turned to her android.

"Who is she up against?" Izuku asked.

While Mei's android couldn't reply with verbal words, she instead used the computer she was hooked up to and mentally typed her response.

Katsuki Bakugo

Quirk: Explosion

He secretes a solution most comparable to nitroglycerin through his sweat glands across his body. His palms are the main source of the phenomena and have suspected traces of condensed metals to not only ignite his sweat but also protect him from the resulting reaction.

"Thank you." He nodded to her, having the maid react to a little happy wiggle seeing her task fulfilled. Izuku smirked at that, seeing her enjoy life much more than many humans. The android may be intelligent, but had childlike emotions being pleased by the smallest things. Most likely from the fact that she wasn't born that long ago.

"You really should give her a name instead of calling her-"

"Baby number 616?"

"...I was going to say 'your android' but I think that's worse."

"Ooh ooh! Are we coming up with names?" Nejire hopped beside them, hoisting Mei up from the floor. "What about Nanny? No she's not really a nanny for anyone but Mei."

"Hey!" Mei shouted, already by her helmet with Izuku looking over it.

"You could call her just Baby!" Nejire suggested.

Izuku lifted up the current t-visor examining it. "Try something else."

"Hmmmm, Marmalade?"

He set it back down, writing suggestions on one hand while talking to Nejire. "Marmalade? An android named after a sweet fruit based topping made in a seventeen hundreds Spanish ship?"

Mei read over the new notes, slowly reaching for Izuku's pocket at the same time while he was distracted with Nejire. The bluenette wanted to argue further for the name, but became nostalgic. "I remember that! We were stuck on it after trying to get a hold of some of those extinct bananas. When there was nothing but old oranges we got bored and tried making sandwiches from fruit."

"Not my fault I accidentally invented it. The Spanish, while wonderful spice collectors, didn't really know how to use them for a while."

"You invented marmalade?" Mei asked, now successfully relieving Izuku of his sonic screwdriver.

"Not important." He shut them down before turning to Mei. She threw her hands behind her back, trying to look as innocent as possible. "Are you trying to refract the silicon oxide layer in your visor to limit the light intake?"

"Maybe…"

"An you can't do that without normal tech without making another one from scratch?"

His spot on guessing was making it harder and harder for her to retain her smile, little dots of sweat building up on her forehead. Izuku's eyes turned hard, boring into her. She couldn't see what he pulled from behind his back and held next to her head, right outside her vision.

"Setting twenty five b." He smirked.

What

Now that she thought about it his screwdriver felt a little too light. Lifting it in her sight, she saw it wasn't the sonic screwdriver, just a normal flat head one. The real sonic screwdriver was in Izuku's hand. On his face was the smuggiest look ever made. She wanted to smack it off him, but instead Mei grabbed the sonic and went to work.

"Maybe a play on android, like Ani?" Nejire said, completely moving on from their little battle of trickery.

"That's a good one." Izuku said leaning back on the bench, grabbing Mei's helmet and giving it a once over while she worked on the visor. "What do you think? Do you like Ani?"

The possibly named Ani, mulled it over with as much seriousness as she could. In the end she just shrugged, if they named her that then she would be called that.

"Wait!" Nejire ran up, redoing the androids artificial curly hair to form a messy bun. "I know exactly what we can call you! We put maid, and android together! Maid-A!"

"Pronounced like Mayday?" Izuku hummed, handing Mei's helmet back and looking over the new hairdo of the android. Nejire grabbed two strands, pulling them to hang beside the pale face.

"Exactly!" Nejire nodded, seeing the name belonging with the new look.

Currently named Maid-A, grabbed a nearby plate of reflective metal, looking at herself. Viewing each side of her face, she smiled. Putting it down she gave both Izuku and Nejire a big hug.

"She likes it!" Nejire cheered, hugging the two immensely.

Izuku, now without the ability to breath, took it and just relied on his advanced respiratory system. As long as he wasn't being deprived of air for half an hour he should be good, should be.

"Hatsume!" PowerLoader called from the door, and stopped when he spotted the two others. "Oh, Midoriya's helping. Just keep an ear for when they announce this next match you're up after them. Midoriya."

"Yeah?"

"You find that problem with security?"

There was a problem with security? Well, now that made sense why Izuku couldn't help her. Not a good excuse but a reasonable one.

"It's..taken care of." Izuku summarized.

"Good." The hero nodded. "Glad to see you in one piece. I was afraid something happened like last time."

"Oh! Are we talking about the computer slime incident?" Nejire asked innocently.

PowerLoader snapped his head to her, then back at Izuku. "I thought we were keeping it underwraps!"

"To be fair" Izuku started, then pointed at Mei. "I blame her."

"Ah, that makes sense."

"Hey!"

This was her second to last fight, and Ochaco wasn't too sure what to make of it. It was someone outside her class, Setsuna Tokage. Now that girl looked like she had her shit together. Confident smirk, straight posture, good familiar looks, walk with a bit of sway to the hips. Midnight looked proud of that. She looked ready to take her head on, but hadn't done anything to stand out.

If she was so good, why hasn't anyone noticed at all?

"You ready Ochaco?" Tokage asked, folding her arms and showing off her sharp teeth.

First name basis?!

"Aw, did you forget me?" The green hair teen teased. "Well, we were pretty young when we met."

Another person, there was another person missing from her memories. Argh! Why was her mind such a blank! She had to talk to her parents after this and check to see if there were other things missing from her memory. Not now though, she had a fight to win.

"FIGHT!"

Tokage didn't hesitate, sending out two fists to slam into Ochaco. In retaliation the girl made herself weightless to dodge out of the way. The fingers split off the hands and stabbed into her clothes, carrying Ochaco easily. Before she could be thrown out Ochaco returned her weight, taking the fingers down with her.

"AND we're off! These girls are intense, pulling no punches! Who do you think will win my radiant co-host?"

"It boils down to two things, when to hit and how to hit. You can gain that from two things, experience through training over and over, or using quick thinking and intelligence. Experience versus applied creativity."

"Ouch!" She landed right on a few of them, but one stood out. Ochaco pulled it away from her side, looking at one with a ring on it. The symbol on it, familiar, whywhywhycouldn'tsherememberitwasimportantgetawaythey'regoingto-

"Yoink!" Tokage pulled her floating pieces back to herself, breaking the girl's concentration. "If you want a ring so bad you should treat a guy to dinner first, or gal, I don't hate."

Ochaco felt ready to break those tiny little digits that mocked her.

"Not from me though." She held up her hand. "Already taken as you can see, from a very special boy."

That mocking smirk, condescending, arrogant, and most of all underestimating her! Ochaco marched onwards, very, very pissed off and staring at her enemy in her green eyes.

"Aw damn, guess you're not a comedy enthusiast are you?" Tokage plit herself up into fifteen pieces, floating ominously and sending ten chunks to combat Ochaco. Ochaco kept moving forward, dodging as many as she could but taking a hit from a decent amount. Punch after punch, bruise after bruise, she kept facing against her like it was the last thing she would do. She did her best to focus and throw a few punches to knock some of them off course.

One of the knees smacked Ochaco right in the face, getting a bloody nose. Tokage grinned even more. "Come on, give us more than that I know you can!"

Blunt forces turned into pinching sensations, nails, bones, and teeth were sent Ochaco's way, cutting her more and more. She opened her hands, starting to slap away larger chunks and making them weightless. It threw off the aim of the greenette, turning each affected piece of her to fly off course. As soon as they corrected themselves, adjusting to the lack of gravity, Ochaco returned their weight making them stumble again.

"One of these girls knows how to fight dirty! The other is taking all the dirt and spitting it back out! This has got to be the best televised cat fight since the Wild Wild Pussy Cat incident!"

"Don't compare this to that travesty."

Ochaco kept soldiering on, doing her best to lessen her injuries but taking the others without hardly flinching. It felt weird, the harder she tried the bigger that smile got.

Tokage must have wanted more excitement, so she joined her face in the fun. Now with every part of her body swarming Ochaco she rapidly spun about her in a tornado of flesh. Ochaco reached out to grab something, but her hand was immediately covered in scratches, cuts, and being smacked around. All the blows started going for her head.

Out, she needed out right now. Closing her eyes tightly she ran forward, nearly tripping when a hand grabbed her ankle but she kept going, shielding her eyes with her arms.

"Woah woah hold on a second, is our mistress of gravity trying to get herself out of the ring?"

That tornado had otherwise, trying to beat her into submission with several injuries but none that were fatal or stopping her. "If you wanna give up just say so."

Ochaco opened her mouth to speak, but two fingers pinched her tongue.

"Sorry, no ruining the fun so soon~"

This girl was crazy! Her body was starting to give into the pain, her legs becoming more limp as everything just said to turtle up. She had to get to the edge of the ring.

"She's close! Fifteen feet, ten feet! But her opponent still wants more and isn't giving her a break!"

Ochaco dared peek, managing to make out the white line ahead. Two hands grabbed her shirt, trying to drag her bag into the center of the arena. Ducking down, Ochaco slipped out of it letting her sports bra be seen and dived forward.

"AND SHE'S OUT OF BOUNDS!"

Tokage wined, stopping her twirling storm and floating steadily around. "Seriously? I thought you would have a lot more fight in you, but you just gave out."

Midnight cracked her whip. "Uraraka is the winner by ring out!"

"What?!" Tokage cried, spinning her eyes to look at Ochaco. Her hand was extended, close to the line but not out. Instead a little piece of flesh was sitting there out of bounds. Ochaco rolled over to be on her back, cuts bleeding and eyes starting to swell.

"Got your nose." Ochaco chuckled before closing her eyes.

Izuku looked at the tv in the corner of the room, watching in clear dislike of what was happening on it. It didn't make sense why Ochaco had pushed herself so hard. The girl usually had the better sense of self preservation between the two of them. Although, it had been years since they went on a one on one adventure and he wasn't sure if that was ever going to happen again.

Something else though, that other girl, Setsuna Tokage, she had a ring on and showed it to Ochaco. The camera didn't zoom in far enough to capture the details, but it was bugging him ever since she walked on screen. He'd have to look into her background personally sometime and...Izuku glanced to Nejire, who was trying her best to stay awake on the couch in the support room workshop.

Mei had left to go to her next fight along with Maid-A. Izuku had confidence that Mei was going to win. It wouldn't be incredibly hard if she did the one thing that would practically one shot Bakugo. No other support students bothered to try as hard as her and settled for taking the class at a normal speed. Because of this they didn't expect to win any of the events or show up the hero course kids, leaving this room unused besides himself, Mei, and Maid-A.

Here he was, alone, with her, with time to not think about anything that's going to kill them and just relax. It would be easier if he forgot the fact that her friends had their minds erased of them at the stadium just earlier today with all the security. If he got worked up, she'd get worked up and she looked so done with the day. Usually she's filled with so much energy thanks to her quirk but that doesn't translate to emotional wellbeing. Going over next to her, he pulled up a tablet and got a live feed of Mei's next fight.

As soon as he sat down Nejire laid across and rested her head on his lap, grabbing the tablet and resting it against her legs so both of them could watch. Yeah, this was nice.

Bakugo was itching for this fight, this crazy bitch that was throwing grenades, shooting flamethrowers, flying around and blasting things, and don't forget that shitty robot he was going to break. It would have been a tiny bit impressive if she made it all herself, but no wonder she had all of that with the martian's help. If he could go in the past who knows what stuff he brought from the future or his own damn planet.

If she thinks she can beat him with all this cheating tech then she better be ready for the might of the human race all packed into his fists. His best bet was to act fast, try and overwhelm her even if that armor manages to protect her. That robot only followed what it was ordered to do most of the time, but it showed itself to think independently. It was an anomaly, but the good thing about robots is that they had no rights, no blood, no soul, so he could smash it up with no restraint.

"In our last semi final round we have the raging inferno himself from class One A, KATSUKI BAKUGO!"

The audience cheered, not like he needed it but it was good to know they knew who to cheer for.

"Facing him is the girl who is military personified, equipped with an arsenal of legal headaches, and joining her is a creation that makes us question what it means to be alive-"

"Get on with it."

"MEI HATSUME!"

The reaction to her was slightly mixed but significantly larger than Bakugo's. Oh sure she has fancy toys that everyone wants, but no one would want it if they knew they had to get probed by an alien. He sharpened his posture as bitch one and bitch two showed up. It wasn't right, to not be able to look your opponent in the eye. Instead he had to glare into the reflection of his own eyes against her mirror like visor. The robo slave's eyes just glowed against the daylight, no soul showing through them.

Can't kill what isn't alive.

"Are both of you ready?" Midnight asked.

Bakugo growled, crouching down and holding his palms out to his sides. Hatsume pulled out two pistols that clicked out from her thigh pieces, causally stepping from side to side. Maid-A stood dutifully by her creator's side, eyes glowing ominously.

"You know this isn't a fight to the death right?" Midnight asked, disturbed by how deadly this could be.

Both sides nodded.

"Remember you're live on tv, ready?!" She raised her whip.

Bakugo tensed all of his muscles, forcefully trying to build the layer of sweat to get started with. Mei just raised the pistols aiming right at him.

"FIGHT!"

Mei shot, circles of blue coming from the chrome guns and rushing to Bakugo.

*BOOM*

He rocketed to the side, rushing with his hands behind him and igniting explosions in his palms to move faster than his own legs could carry him. Mei kept shooting as Bakugo circled around. While her shots were average, he was much better, avoiding the widespread energy with precise movements.

Getting behind her back he launched straight at her. The maid that had been standing to the side had kept her eyes on Bakugo the entire time. Once calculating his trajectory she leapt to intervene. Seeing her rear her fist back Bakugo swiped the sweat he had on the side of his face, turned his hand to the bot, and let loose.

*BOOOM*

The force of it knocked all three back, Bakugo recovering quickly and Mei using her jetpack to correct herself mid air.

"MAID-A!" Mei cried out, seeing her android enveloped in a black cloud.

Bakugo rolled his left wrist. It was incredibly sore but not broken but another blast like that might do it.

*CHIIR*

He didn't look, just moved, narrowly avoiding two sets of lasers rocketing out of the cloud. Out stepped the robot, looking a lot more intimidating than before. The right arm was completely scorched, the fake pale skin gone with metal and wires underneath sparking with smoke. The UA gym top she wore was a rag, a metal ribcage with a red glowing core consuming everything that touched it. Most of her face was intact, just part of the jaw glinting with the silver underneath and a hole next to her mouth exposing metal teeth.

There was one big difference between the before and after of the android's image.

Before she seemed like a child, now he was seeing the freaking terminator with those blazing red eyes.

Wait, scowl, intimidating, undeniably strong, powerful red eyes.

THIS BITCH BOT WAS STEALING HIS LOOK!

"OI! There's only room for one badass on the stage AND I'M ALREADY HERE!" Bakugo blasted himself right to the droid.

*BWA BWA*

The cement in front of him was barraged with those freaky blue circles, dispersing on impact. Bakugo wasn't too sure what they would do if they hit him but he wasn't going to let that happen. Fine, if crazy chick was going to stay in the air and try and pick him off from the ground he would just go up there.

*BOOM* Cupping his hands under him he lifted off straight to the armored bimbo.

She panicked, flying backwards while shooting at him. But everytime Bakugo got close enough to blast her he would hear those damn eyes charging up and making him back off to dodge the lasers. This was getting nowhere, he needed to take out one but the other was quick to defend.

Following Mei across the sky, he waited until they were above the robot. Bakugo dive bombed straight down, spinning to avoid the laser fire from below. Bringing back his right hand he stopped mid air, not because of him but because some wire grabbed his ankle! Mei had launched a line from her vambrace and snagged Bakugo's leg.

"SCREW THIS!" Bakugo took Mei with her, putting more force into his explosions and bringing her to the ground. As soon as he landed on his feet he grabbed the wire and yanked it with his hands. Mei kept herself in the air, trying to win the tug of war but he kept firing explosions at her to keep himself grounded.

*CHIIR*

Bakugo spun to the left, bringing the wire in the direct path of the lasers and cutting it. Mei spun out of control from sudden release. With her temporarily out of the picture Bakugo zig zagged right to the android avoiding laser fire along the way.

"DIE!" He slapped the side of the robot, sending her across the arena. It slammed its already broken arm into the ground, screws and metal falling off along the way. Bracing itself, it tried to get up but was stuck. After jerking its arms a few times it gave up and cut its own arm off with its lasers. Holy hell that was kind of badass.

"Maid-A." Crazy chick said, her jetpack slowly descending her to the ground. The android stopped its assault towards Bakugo, red eyes turning back to blue.

"Focus on manual self repair, technomorph functions on minimal scale."

She nodded, picking up pieces of herself and sitting down. Her fingers on her working hand opened up to show little tools to do precise work. In this little standstill Bakugo took advantage and caught his breath, but not showing his exhaustion. He had built up plenty of sweat, and discreetly he managed to wipe some more into his palms.

"So." Bakugo faced the armored girl. "You going to face me yourself?"

"I didn't want to do this. I'd rather show off more of my babies instead of reusing the same ones."

His brow twitched. She didn't want to fight? Then what the hell was the point of entering a FIGHTING COMPETITION?! "Too bad. I'm going to be the number one hero and if you hold back I'm going to make you regret it."

Mei shrugged, putting her pistols on her thigh pieces clicking them in place.

"HEY! I just said fight me with everything you got!" Bakugo yelled.

"I am, or, using everything you have against you."

"You better start making sense before I-"

*FWOOOSH*

She snapped her arm out and let a torrent of flames spew from her vambrace. Bakugo dodged, but decided to use this to his advantage and stayed near the flames. The heat made him sweat more, his body being covered in the explosive fluid and-

Wait a damn minute! THIS WAS THE PLAN!

Mei charged forward, her armor protecting her from her own flames as she let her jetpack carry her straight to Bakugo. It didn't take much, she just had to get close enough for one lick of the fire to touch him, and then..

*BOOOM*

A massive explosion rippled the air itself, the audience recoiling as their eardrums shook. Dark smoke covered the arena, swirling around the center of the eruption. Everything and everyone was still, awaiting for any sign of life.

"Does our insurance cover this?"

"No."

"Crap."

"The mic is still on."

"OH SHI-"

Mei flew out of the cloud, her android holding on to her torso completely fine besides the clothing. Her armor had some blemishes and scorch marks but otherwise it was fine. The cloud below dissipated to reveal a burnt but breathing Bakugo, laying on the ground unconscious. Fortunately their attention was focused on Mei instead of the gruesome scene.

"Bakugo is unable to continue, Mei Hatsume wins!"

"I told you Shota! Everything was under control!"

"Tell that to Chiyo"

"No thanks, I prefer life."

"Oh wow, she can be pretty ruthless." Nejire commented looking up at Izuku.

"Well, he is covered in a very combustible solution. I'm surprised he didn't figure out he's a living grenade without a proper casing."

"How is he going to be a hero if everyone knows how to explode him?" Nejire asked with sincere concern.

Izuku looked over towards Mei's workbench. "I'm sure we could make a significant improvement to his costume. Make it fire retardant, sealed, oh he might need to make it airtight with good internal ventilation to preventfoggingandmakesurehecanbreatherightwithout-"

"Shush." Nejire plopped her hand over Izuku's mouth. "I have more questions, teacher." She smirked playfully.

Izuku returned the smile. "Alright senpai."

"Doesn't it feel weird to be a teacher at our school but also a student?"

"All the time."

SHABAM! Another chapter done! Another little glimpse at another thing to worry about, but for now we're purposely ignoring it to enjoy simple human life on this wonderful planet. Who should win the sports festival? Mei with her technological wonders or Ochaco the underdog who is desperately fighting for a life she can't remember?

If you have any questions, comments, suggestions, feel free to send them! That includes grammar mistakes please let me know and I'll fix them.

Guest:

Well I'll never tell. Mwahahaha

Darklord765:

Nope, this is the last story I would abandon out of all of mine. It may have the least amount of positive feedback, or attention, but doctor who is my favorite show and this is sort of a tribute to it.

joeyginise:

I love those little references in MHA to star wars, and this one capitalizes on it without making it a direct crossover. Infact, Mei's armor is basically Mandalorian armor made from human tech and sometimes alien tools.

Xyrothor:

I'm glad you love these stories, and I'm glad you like this one as well. There's some oddities because it's my first but I put my heart into it. Keep up the work on your stories so long as you wish to! As long as you're having fun writing it I think there will always be someone who appreciates it as much or more.

Creator of the multiverse:

I know I get a little lost when reading a story that doesn't update frequently. I recommend reading the story from the beginning and by then you might make the connections you probably forgot. So far though, I am creating lots of plot lines that will connect in the future. After the UA sports festival arc, I will start putting them together, like addressing Ochaco's memories.

xXKentonHatakeXx:

He's just trying to make some decent money.

CitricBlueWolf:

Thank you! It means a lot to hear that my effort in these goes noticed. As much as I would love to see Time Lord Izuku with One for All, I want to keep him quick thinking and hopeful with hardly any strength to call his own. Something probably would have developed if she had her memories. That's part of the tragedy, something that would have but didn't. I promise though, next arc I am doing Ochaco's memories.
