Two hours had passed since Charlie had gotten the message from General Carter. After having a long conversation with David, he had agreed to let her and the baby save the multiverse, on one condition. So now as Charlie was heading to the DEO, she practically had a small army with her.

David would never have let Charlie go into danger alone. The DEO had to be involved as backup, but she also had to be accompanied by Dave Jones, Steve Schneider, 33 year old Gregory Summers, 43 year old Neil Vaega and 45 year old Mark Wendel.

It took about another two hours for Charlie to explain things to Alex, who called David to confirm that Charlie was allowed to go, and then for the DEO agents to be ready.

It seemed like forever to Charlie. She didn't know what it was or why, but she felt a strange pull - like a calling - like it was destiny. It wasn't Charlie's calling. She was just a conduit - a vessel. Her baby was to be the real hero. Her baby was supposed to save the multiverse.

Everyone loaded into the spaceship from the future that Mon-El had left for the DEO. Brainy had routed Cisco's breach device that he had given to Kara into the spaceship, and now they were headed to Earth-X.

Meanwhile on Earth-X, things were looking more grim by the second, especially for Ray. Being a prisoner wasn't as glamorous as he'd thought it would be. Okay, that's a lie. He didn't think it would be glamorous, but he didn't think with the whole plan to destroy the multiverse that there would be much time for torturing.

He was wrong.

What Sara and Nate didn't know at the time that Ray had volunteered to be a prisoner was that Mari and Ray had come up with a plan before they had left the waverider. Ray had swallowed some tracking nanites, and Mari was tracking his every step.

Now following Mari's trail to Ray: Mari, Sara and Nate were attempting to break into the fortress that the little girl had taken Ray to. They were strategizing and it didn't seem like there was any way in.

Sara looked at Mari, "Alright, Mari. This was yours and Ray's idea. What next?"

"I don't know. We didn't count on it being a fortress."

Just as they were about to give up, they heard footsteps behind them. Sara turned around first to see Kara and a very pregnant Charlie not far behind.

"Charlie? What are you doing here?"

"It's good to see you too, Captain, but with respect move aside. This is my destiny. My baby's destiny." Charlie explained

Charlie pushed her way past Sara, Mari and Nate, walking right up to the walls of the fortress. She still had her entourage behind her, plus Kara, but she wasn't paying any attention to them. She was just focusing on controlling her powers and tapping into the baby's powers.

Charlie focused on the shape-shifting power. She didn't think of anyone in particular, she just trusted her baby to come up with the form. She ended up in the form of a fairy. It wasn't exactly what she imagined, but it would do because she was small and able to fly over the fortress walls.

Flying high above her entourage, she looked down to see Kara using heat vision to cut a hole in the wall for her and the others to pass through. That worked too, but it wasn't as fun as flying.

Charlie flew around, making her way down the hallways inside the fortress. She flew down in a stairwell, one that she presumed led to a dungeon of some kind, hoping that would be where Ray was.

It was a dungeon, but Ray wasn't there, so instead Charlie refocused on finding Reign. That was who she came to confront. That was where she felt the calling drawing her. It wasn't to rescue Ray. Instead it was to fight Reign. To beat her and stop her plan of destroying the multiverse, killing everyone that lives on all the Earths, including the Beebo Nation Earth that sweet little Mayanah created with Brigid's diary. Charlie would damn her soul to hell before she ever let that happen. Not that she's going to need to.

Just like she predicted - and just like she knew - the baby had led Charlie right to Reign. Still in her fairy form, she flew into the room to find Reign, Sonnet and The Elizabeth standing in a circle holding hands.

'Oh no.' Charlie thought, taking a deep breath and trying to remain calm. The baby returned her back to her normal form, and clearing her throat, Charlie made her presence known. However Reign, Sonnet and The Elizabeth didn't break their chain. It was like they were in a trance, like they were performing some kind of ritual.

Charlie scratched at her head as she thought, 'What?'. She finally heard her entourage coming up behind her. They had finally caught up with her, not that having them made a difference. She didn't know what to do, and from what she felt the baby was just as lost as she was.

Back on Earth-38, the flooding was getting worse and worse. But at Mount Carmel, David wasn't fretting about the flooding. What he was worried about was his wife and unborn child. He was on his knees in the chapel, praying for Charlie and their baby. Praying for God to protect them and keep them safe.

"Daddy?" A little voice called reminding David that there is no pause button on parenthood or life for when the stress becomes too much.

David turned around to see which one of his kids was calling him, and standing in the doorway of the chapel he saw his 4 year old Shoshanna. His miracle child with Shari.

"Hey baby." David greeted, "Come here."

Shoshanna ran over and hugged her father, "Daddy, are Mama Charlie and the baby gonna be okay?"

David pulled his daughter onto his lap, "Who's hands are Mama Charlie and the baby in?"

"God's."

David nodded, "And what does God do for His children?"

"He saves them."

"And why does He do that?"

Shoshanna smiled, "Because He loves us."

David kissed his daughter's cheek, "Yeah. Good job. That's exactly right, baby. He loves us so much and He is always in charge. When we're worried, scared or afraid, we have to take that fear to God. We have to pray and allow Him to take away our fears."

"I love you, Daddy."

"Oh…" David gave his daughter a squeeze, "I love you too, baby."
