The day that Kurt was turned was a special day for the growing family. Not only was Kurt going to be turned, but Burt and Elizabeth were as well. They had decided that Matthew would turn Elizabeth, and Percival would turn Burt. Neither one of them wanted gifts, and the two elder Edwards were honored to take on the task and new charges. Blaine, it had long ago been decided, would turn Kurt, and they would all three be turned at the same time.

They all transitioned into vampirism gracefully. Elizabeth's back healed perfectly, though she still used the wheelchair when they were around people they knew. After all of those people had passed on, though, she started walking freely all of the time.

During their annual Fall Celebration that year, Santana and Brittany had announcements to make, as did Elliot and Sebastian.

"We're having a baby," they all shouted at the same time.

Kurt was the first to recover and hugged his friends, his family, congratulating them all.

"Whose is whose?" he asked once they'd all sat back down.

"For this time around," Santana explained, "I am carrying mine and Brit's baby who Elliot fathered, and Brit is carrying Seb and Elliot's baby who Seb fathered."

"Next time, we'll switch," Brittany announced. "After that, who knows?"

The babies were born and were the perfect addition to their family. Once the babies started being born, it seemed like there were always children running around. Josiah and Quinn ended up having three, two boys and a girl. San and Brit had five, all of which were girls. Seb and Elliot had two, one of each. And Kurt and Blaine topped them all, having seven.

They honored their families, past and present, in naming them: Elijah Raymond, Beatrice Corinna, Cooper Alan, Marie Elaine, William Emmett, Isabelle Dawn, and Everard Lee. One day after family dinner, they were watching the television when a preview for a new movie came on. After it played, William asked his fathers a question he had been thinking about since hearing about their family history.

"Daddy and Papa?" he asked and, seeing them pause the program they were watching and turn toward him, he continued. "Why do we never see any of our other family?"

"We just saw your cousins and everyone last month," Blaine replied.

"No, I mean the werewolf part of our family," he clarified.

"Well, from what I understand, after your great-uncle's first transformation, he got very confused and ran away," Blaine explained. "It wasn't until years later that he and your grandfather, Matthew, reconnected. Grandfather told me that they don't dislike each other but that the wolves tend to want to stick together where we have all spread out around the world. Maybe, though, we could visit them someday."

"I'd love that," William replied and turned back to the TV.

They did visit their werewolf kin about a year later. Matthew accompanied them, and lifelong friendships were made.

When the new year rang in 2802, Blaine got a sense that this was going to be a big year for them. They had been together for 1,142 years in total, 785 of those being after Kurt was reborn. Never, in either one of their lifetimes, had either one ever thought they'd have this much time with each other in one lifetime, and Blaine felt that they needed to make the most of every moment with everyone they held dear to them. He told Kurt about the feeling, and they both had their own internal thoughts about it, though never once spoke them aloud, not wanting to ruin one single moment.

That summer, they invited all of their family to their estate near London. The house was large and had enough bedrooms to house everyone. Some of the family, though, preferred to stay in one of the houses that was on the property but not attached to the main house. It was their favorite place in the world and made them feel closer to each other since it was near where they had originally met each other. Kurt and Blaine spent the day talking to each and every member of their family as they arrived.

After the last member had finally arrived, Kurt and Blaine got up to make a toast.

"Can we have your attention, please?" Kurt called out to the crowd. Everyone stopped and gave the men their attention. "We have been blessed beyond measure to have all of you in our lives. Each and every one of you is special to us, and we cannot imagine having lived this very long life without any of you. However you look at it, we've loved each other for over a millennia and we've been together in the ways that have mattered since then."

"As most you all know, my gift doesn't tell me when or where things will happen, just that something will happen," Blaine continued. "Today, something big will happen, and it just seemed like the right thing to have you all here with us when it does."

"We love all of you so much, and whatever happens today, take that love with you and continue to share it with everyone you can," Kurt continued. He had some inkling of what the big event would be-both of them did if they were being honest-and he wanted to say as much as he could while he still could. "As we've learned over the years, not only from early on in our lives when we were both human but through snippets of memories I had while I was away as well, our love literally changed this world we live in, and we hope that it will continue to do so until the end of time."

Just then, Kurt and Blaine felt a tug from above, and a sense of calm came over the whole group. Somewhere in the world, at the exact same moment, two little werewolf boys were born mere minutes apart, not knowing that they would be the next infinites in this world. They would meet and feel the connection that would bind them together years later.

The pair walked hand in hand into the house and up to their bedroom, almost as if something was guiding them there. Their children, parents, and siblings all followed them. Kurt and Blaine, once they were laid down on the bed, looked around them at the people they loved, seeing their tears streaming down their faces.

"We love you all so much. This is not goodbye," Kurt said.

"It's simply goodbye for now," Blaine added and then looked at Kurt, his best friend, his love, his soulmate and smiled. "It's been an amazing journey with you, love."

"I think I'm ready for our next adventure," Kurt said and then pressed his lips ever so gently to Blaine's.

Santana watched as their soulbond floated up until she could no longer see it, and their bodies were lying next to each other on the ground, embracing. She could hear tears start to fall harder from everyone's eyes, but none harder than from Elliot who was clinging to Sebastian like a lamprey. Everyone in the room knew about Kurt and Blaine's bond and how the two of them had come into the world, and in the depths of their souls, they knew that today was going to be the day that they departed from this lifetime and found out where their next journey would take them.

You take good care of them, she thought as she leaned her head back and closed her eyes.

"They will," Brittany whispered as if she could hear her mate's thoughts.

Santana simply nodded her head and let her own tears fall. It wasn't until that very moment that the magnitude of Kurt and Blaine's love really hit her. She had been witness to a love so deep and strong that one lifetime, even a vampire lifetime, wasn't enough to express it. And she hoped, in that moment, that she would be able to watch them fall in love over and over again in other lifetimes.

Everyone had their time to say their goodbyes before they joined the rest of the family out on the lawn.

Santana walked up to the microphone, knowing that she was the only one who would be able to confirm what had happened and knowing that everyone deserved to know, now, what she had known for so long.

"There is something that I've known for quite some time now and knew that when this moment happened, it would be the time to share it with everyone," she said. "When Kurt and Blaine were born into this world, they replaced the only known soulmates any of us had ever known: Isabelle and Everard. They departed this world, just like Kurt and Blaine just did, what is guessed to be the moment Blaine was born. When Kurt was reborn, though, and the two of them reformed their bond, it changed. They had a strand of silver in their otherwise gold bond. That gold bond wasn't one I had seen in any other pairing. That has slowly been changing over the years now. Vampires have mates that have morphed into soulmates. Their love allowed for more than one set of soulmates to be here at one time. And their bond turned into what we are calling the infinite soulbond. It would be my guess, then, that the next infinites have now been born. My brothers have moved on to their next adventure, wherever and whenever that may be. It is all of our jobs to carry on their legacy. We will do this by sharing their love with anyone who asked, and always remember to be compassionate and kind to those around us." Santana felt warmth around her, knowing that she had said the right thing and that all would be okay with two of the most important people in her world.

As Kurt and Blaine opened their eyes, they found themselves in the now familiar Unknown. Kurt, upon seeing Caphriel and Karma, ran up to them and hugged them, never once letting go of Blaine's hand.

"Blaine, I'd like you to meet Karma," Kurt introduced. "Karma, this is my Blaine."

"It's nice to meet you, ma'am," Blaine said and stuck his hand out to shake hers.

"It's nice to meet you, too, Blaine," she said and surprised them all by hugging Blaine.

"I'm guessing you two have some questions," Caphriel wondered.

"We do," Kurt replied, and the four of them sat down. "Why were we separated for so long?"

"You both have to know that that was not anything that I anticipated or even knew was going to happen," Caphriel defended.

"We believe you, Caphriel," Blaine said. "It wasn't meant to be an accusatory question. Just one of curiosity and understanding."

"In all of my conversations with the All-Knowing, what it came down to was to be able to prove to yourselves, no matter which lifetime you're living, that you can live and function without the other, regardless of the circumstances," Caphriel explained. "Also that, through your love, you can change the world. There are lifetimes you'll live where you will both date and marry and love other people. There are lifetimes you'll live in that will test every ounce of the love you share by making you hide it from everyone. There are lifetimes that will shine on your love, too. This lifetime ended up showing just how powerful your love is and that, no matter what, your love can make differences. Through your bond, you were able to pull people together, to help them find each other in ways that they wouldn't have otherwise been able to do. Quinn and Josiah. Sebastian and Elliot. Brittany and Santana. None of them would have found each other had it not been for Blaine. And not just them. This is something that wasn't told to you due to a premonition Brittany had. Santana saw that your bond had changed; that part she told you. What she didn't tell you was that other soulmate bonds were forming. Your love made it so that everyone in that world could find and be with their soulmate, and when you came back here, a new set of infinite soulmates were born into that world."

"Wow," Kurt said in amazement.

"Furthermore," Caphriel continued, "you both learned patience and how to simply be without the other. That isn't something that many people in other lifetimes have figured out. They equate being alone to loneliness because they don't like themselves and who they've become. There might even be lifetimes the two of you live where that could happen. Know this, though: no matter what lifetime you live in, you are always and forever endgame until you decide to be done and move on."

"I am so glad that no matter the lifetime, no matter the trials or tribulations we endure, I get to spend it loving you in the end," Blaine said and kissed Kurt more passionately than he ever had. He understood the magnitude of their love. He understood that their time apart wasn't done as punishment. He simply understood.

"I can't wait to see what our next adventure is," Kurt said once their kiss broke, and their lips were swollen.

"Well, my eternal love, let's go find out," Blaine said and smiled into another kiss, not in any hurry at all to stop.

A/N: Well, this is it. Thank you so much to everyone who has stuck with me for ALMOST a full year. There were times this story felt so overwhelmingly impossible to finish, and other times my fingers couldn't type fast enough. The ups and downs and twists this story took still amaze me as I didn't plan most of them. But that's the best thing about writing for me...finding the unexpected through my stories. So thank you, each and every one of you, who has stuck by, who have commented, and who have left kudos. Your support, and the support of my two cheerleaders, really did help me more than I can ever express.
