Wizar is walking through the woods, swinging his cane to brush aside some tall grass, "Now, where is that little pest, Shroomie. I need to make a new monster to please the Queen and…"
Wizar stops when he hears the sound of clanking, "What's that?"
Wizar continues forward and stops at a tree, to see a group of Knightrons had surrounded Mechanoid.
Two Knightrons strike at Mechanoid with their spears, with him blocking them with one arm, before grabbing the spears and pulling the Knightrons to the side. Mechanoid kicks one Knightron in the back, knocking them both down. Mechanoid then spins around, knocking back a couple more Knightrons with his arm, before firing his cannons, blasting the Knightrons.
"You know, the Rangers destroy enough Knightrons, you don't have to do it yourself," Wizar walks over to Mechanoid, who turns to him.
"Observation: I must become stronger and prevent myself from being replaceable," Mechanoid says.
"Must I remind you, what happened when you tried to upgrade yourself in Neutron City?" Wizar asks. "Tried it again, and our Queen might not be able to save your bacon."
"Observation: I am completely mechanical, without an ounce of organic matter," Mechanoid tells him.
"Nonetheless, you almost destroyed yourself last time," Wizar says.
"Observation: the technology I used in Neutron City was insufficient for my needs," Mechanoid says, before looking away. "Conclusion: I must find other technology that would be better suited."
Mechanoid walks away, with Wizar watches him, tilting his head.
"Upgrade"
At NexGex, Buffy is walking through the halls, carrying a pair of car keys.
Upon reaching a door, she opens it, "Brittney, I got mom's car keys…"
Entering the labroom, Buffy sees a bright light on the center of a table, as the light keeps on getting brighter and Buffy covers her eyes. Suddenly, the light fades away, as the lightbulb on the table burns out.
"Aw man," a brunette woman with red highlights stands on the side of the room, next to a large black rectangular box with a cable connecting it to the lightbulb. "I could've sworn it would work." She walks over to the lightbulb. "I wonder what could have gone wrong."
The woman looks over to the door to see Buffy standing there, staring at her.
"Can I help you?"
"Oh, right, sorry," Buffy approaches her. "I'm Buffy Clarke."
"Buffy? Are you related to Brittney Clarke?" The woman asks.
"Yeah, she's my sister," Buffy smiles.
"Right, of course, that makes sense. I'm Riza.."
"Nice to meet you," Buffy says, before looking over to the burnt out lightbulb. "So, what are you working on? If you don't mind me asking."
"I don't mind," Riza shrugs her shoulders, before looking at the black box. "It's a power amplifier that's supposed to increase a device's power output without the need for excess energies. The idea is that it would be helpful in a power crisis."
"Wow, that's really impressive," Buffy says. "I wasn't aware that interns work on stuff like this."
"Actually, my GPA and the early college classes I have taken impressed everyone here, so I get to work on projects like this," Riza rubs her arm slightly.
"So, a genius, huh," Buffy says, with a grin, as Riza shrugs her shoulders. "And this thing is incredible," Buffy adds.
Riza sighs, "It would be, if I wasn't having trouble managing power levels." She looks over to the lightbulb. "The devices I used it with just keep on overloading."
"Too bad you can't just use another device to decrease the power levels," Buffy jokes.
"Mmhm, a duo power system…" Riza says, as she glances at Buffy for a moment, before looking at the black box. "Wait that could work."
"It could?" Buffy asks.
"Yeah," Riza looks back at Buffy. "Now, I'm impressed.
Buffy smiles, as Brittney enters the labroom.
"Ah, Buffy, you here," Brittney says, as she approaches her sister.
"Oh, yeah, here's mom's car keys," Buffy passes the keys to Brittney.
"Thanks a lot," Brittney says, as she motions to the entrance. "I can walk you out."
"Actually, I thought I could stay a bit," Buffy says, as Riza disconnects the lightbulb.
Riza looks over, "I would like the help."
Buffy looks at Riza and smiles.
"Oh… kay," Brittney says, before she shrugs her shoulders.
A woman is jogging down a sidewalk, before she stops next to a drinking fountain and starts to take a drink.
She then turns away from the fountain to find Shroomie standing in front of her, "Thirsty?"
The woman backs up, screaming.
Kent, Jackie, Mackey, and Henry are walking through the city.
"I don't believe Buffy is helping her new friend at NexGex again," Henry says.
"Apparently, she's really impressed by her project," Jackie says.
"I wonder what it could be?" Mackey asks.
Suddenly, the four heard a loud scream.
"I wonder what's that," Kent says, before the four unmorphed Rangers run ahead.
They turn a corner to see a scattered group of people, as something speeding around them, not allowing anyone to go far, before them comes to a stop, with a man falling down, revealing them to be Razorswift, a monster whose body seemed to be covered in silver blades, with an animal-like head on his chest.
"And where do you think you're going?" Razorswift asks, before he speeds away and stops in front of two teenage girls. "And you?" He then speeds away again and stops in front of a woman. "And you?"
Razorswift continues to speed around, laughing.
"What's this, a demented game of tag?" Jackie says.
"Let's go," Kent says, before they duck back behind the corner. After they look around, they then look back ahead. "It's Morphin' Time!"
They hold up their Dino Totems and insert them into their Knight Morpher.
"Tyranno Totem!"
They flip around their Morphers' visors, "Dino Knight, Visor Up!"
Kent morphs into Red Knight Ranger, Jackie morphs into Pink Knight Ranger, Mackey morphs into Blue Knight Ranger, and Henry morphs into Black Knight Ranger.
Razorswift stops in front of another man, "And you."
Suddenly, Black Knight Ranger jumps and strikes at Razorswift with his Dino Blade, "And you!"
Razorswift is knocked to the side, as Shroomie runs over to him.
"Nobody say anything about Rangers?" Razorswift says.
"They always show up to ruin our fun," Shroomie says.
"Quick, everyone go," Pink Knight Ranger says, as she and Blue Knight Ranger help people up, with them running away.
"Terrifying people is never fun," Red Knight Ranger says, as he stands next to Black Knight Ranger, with Pink and Blue Knight Rangers hurrying over to them.
"Then you isn't doing it right," Razorswift says.
The four Knight Rangers ready their Dino Blades and charge at Razorswift and Shroomie.
"Go on, big guy, do something," Shroomie says, as he stands behind Razorswift.
Red Knight Ranger swings his Dino Blade, but Razorswift speeds past him, then speeds past Pink Knight Ranger's attempt Dino Blade strike, speeds back from Blue Knight Ranger's strike, before speeds away from Black Knight Ranger's strike. Razorswift then speeds back from the four Knight Rangers.
"Let's match speed with speed," Blue Knight Ranger places a Dino Totem into his Dino Blade and closes the mouth.
"Microraptor Totem!"
Razorswift speeds past Blue Knight Ranger, before he speeds after him, with an Armor Guard appearing. Blue Knight Ranger chases Razorswift quickly around a couple trees.
"You might be fast, but you can't stop me," Razorswift says, as the two stops running, before Blue Knight Ranger speeds at him.
Razorswift side steps Blue Knight Ranger, before patting his shoulder, "Tag, you're it."
Razorswift laughs as he speeds away, dodging Blue Knight Ranger's strike.
Blue Knight Ranger turns to see Razorswift speeding over to Shroomie.
"Even with the Fast Guard, he's too fast," Pink Knight Ranger says.
"You got that right," Shroomie says, as he places his hands on his hips. "Razorswift is the fastest there is."
"Observation…" Mechanoid walks over to the pair. "I have a need for your special talent."
"You do?" Razorswift asks.
"Command: we're leaving at once," Mechanoid says, before a checker field appears over him, Shroomie, and Razorswift.
The four Knight Rangers run ahead to see they're gone.
Blue Knight Ranger looks to the side, "I wonder why Mechanoid needs him so much?"
Buffy enters the Round Base to find Mr. Dragdan and Arno in front of the table.
"Buffy, where have you been?" Arno asks.
"I lost track of time," Buffy answers. "Did something happen?"
"The others just fought a very fast monster," Mr. Dragdan says.
"How fast?" Buffy asks.
"Very fast," Henry says, as he, Kent, Jackie, and Mackey enter.
"Guys, I was about to move out when the monster left," Arno says.
"It's fine, this Razorswift is so fast, I'm not sure anything could slow him down," Kent says.
"Maybe, but I'm more concerned about what Mechanoid said," Mackey says.
"What did he say?" Buffy asks.
"Something about taking what can increase his own powers," Mackey responds.
"Did he already try that in Neutron City?" Mr. Dragdan asks.
"Should know he wouldn't give up so early," Jackie says.
"Taking something that could increase his powers…" Buffy crosses her arms, before looking ahead. "Oh no."
Buffy rushes up the stairs out of the Round Base.
"What's that about?" Henry asks.
"I have a bad feeling," Kent says, before leading the rest of his friends out. "C'mon."
Mechanoid and Shroomie are walking through the halls of NexGex, as Razorswift speeds around, going in and out of random rooms, with people heard screaming as he speeds around.
"I remember this place," Shroomie says, holding a hand to his chin. "I created one of my first monsters here."
Mechanoid grabs Shroomie and pulls him closer, "Command: find something useful."
"Useful?" Shroomie asks.
Mechanoid lets go of Shroomie, "Observation: this is a major technological and research company, it must have something that could increase my own powers."
In a labroom, Riza walks around the table, toward the entrance.
"What that noise?" Riza asks.
Suddenly, Razorswift speeds into the room, startling Riza, who moves back and screams.
"Now what we got in here?" Razorswift walks forward, before noticing some paperworks next to the black box. Razorswift picks up the papers and reads them. "Po… Pow… er… Power. Amp-i-fli… Amplifier. Ah, power amplifier." He turns to the entrance, "Hey, Mechanoid! I think I found something!"
After a few seconds, Mechanoid and Shroomie enter the room, with Riza watching them, as her back is against the opposite wall.
Razorswift hands the papers to Mechanoid, who looks them over and then goes over to the black box, "Observation: a power amplifier will serve my needs."
"No, you can't take that," Riza says, as Mechanoid picks up the black box and turns to her, with Riza backing away.
"Oh yeah, missy, and who will stop us?" Razorswift says, before laughing.
"Observation: we are done here," Mechanoid says, before he and Razorswift turn to leave.
Riza, with her back against the wall, looks down.
"Oh, I can sense a lot of depression from her," Shroomie says.
Mechanoid grabs Shroomie with one free hand and pulls him to the entrance, "Command: we are leaving."
"But I could create a monster, a strong one," Shroomie says, as he continues to be pulled out of the room, with Riza slides down to the floor. "Aw man!"
Shortly later, the six unmorphed Rangers enter the NexGex labroom to find Riza picking up the dropped pieces of papers.
"Riza, what happened?" Buffy asks, as Riza stands up.
"Some monsters were here, and they stole my invention," Riza says, as she walks over to the table.
"The power amplifier?" Buffy asks.
Riza nods her head, "If I can just perfected it, it could put my name on the map." Riza places the papers on the table. "It's ridiculous to think that, when there's more important things to worry about."
"No it not," Buffy places a hand on Riza's shoulder, with her looking over to Buffy. "It's important to you, so it's not ridiculous. Also, I'm certain you will have a thousand more inventions and innovations that could change the world for the better."
"You just met me," Riza says.
"I'm a good judge of a character," Buffy smiles, with Riza returning the smile.
"Excuse me," Arno approaches the pair. "But isn't there anything to counter this device of yours?"
"Well, it does have an overloading problem," Riza explains. "But depending on the device it is used on, it might take a lot for it to overload."
Mackey leans over to Kent, and whispers, "Considering how long it took for Mechanoid to overload in Neutron City, he probably can take a lot of power."
"Wait, what about your idea to decrease a device's power?" Buffy remembers. "It could be used on your invention or on Mech-, I mean, whatever the monsters are using it on."
"I hadn't got it to work, yet," Riza says.
"I'm sure you can get it to work, and I will help in any way I can," Buffy says.
"Okay," Riza nods her head.
"Well, we better go and find some help with those monsters," Kent says.
"Right," Jackie agrees, as she, Kent, Henry, Mackey, and Arno start to leave.
"But, what about…" Riza starts.
"C'mon, let's get to work," Buffy quickly interrupts.
"Yeah, right away," Riza smiles.
Next to the side of a building, Razorswift backs away as Mechanoid finishes attaching cables from the black box, seating on the floor, to his chest.
"You sure about this boss?" Razorswift asks.
"Command: I will grow stronger," Mechanoid says.
"Oh, I can't watch," Razorswift starts to cover his eyes.
Shroomie comes around the corner, "The Rangers! The Rangers are on their way!"
"Command: Razorswift, attack the Rangers," Mechanoid instructs.
"Right away," Razorswift says, before speeding away.
"Whoa, he's fast," Shroomie looks in the direction Razorswift left.
"Command: Shroomie, you will finish assisting me," Mechanoid says.
"Oh, okay, sure," Shroomie says, before kneeling down to the black box. "Not like I know what I'm doing or anything."
Red, Pink, Blue, and Black Knight Rangers are driving their Dino Cycles, with Gold Knight Ranger riding with Red Knight Ranger, down a street.
Red Knight Ranger holds up his Knight Morpher, "Mr. Dragdan, any luck locating Razorswift?"
Suddenly, Razorswift speeds back and forth the six Knight Rangers, causing sparks to go off their Dino Force Cycles, before they are thrown off the bikes.
The Rangers start to get up, as Red Knight Ranger holds up his Knight Morpher, "Nevermind. We found him."
Razorswift comes to a stop, whirling a Knightron's spear, "You gonna wish you hadn't." Razorswift then speeds ahead.
Razorswift speeds back and forth past Gold Knight Ranger, who is holding up his Mosa Blade, as he strikes him with the Knightron spear.
"There got to be a way to slow him down… Stop him running..." Blue Knight Ranger says to himself, before looking over to the side. "That's it! Kent, the ground!"
Razorswift speeds past between Blue and Red Knight Rangers, before they watch over him.
"I think I got it," Red Knight Ranger says, before he holds up the Max Battle Claw and a Dino Totem.
He then holds them down, as he inserts the Dino Totem into the Max Battle Claw, before holding it back up and pressing the button.
"Red Maxsaur Ranger!" Red Knight Ranger lowers his arms, as the Maxsaur armor appears around him and then flies onto him.
Red Maxsaur Ranger inserts two Dino Totems into the Max Battle Claw.
"Protoceratops Totem! Struthiomimus Totem!"
"Let see if this slows you down," Red Maxsaur Ranger says, before he stabs the Max Battle Claw into the ground, before two animated Dino Totems fly from the weapon and shoots energy into the ground, before flipping back to in front of Red Maxsaur Ranger.
Razorswift speeds over the ground, but stops as he starts to sink into the ground, "What this? Did I step into pudding or something?"
"No, we combined the mist and soft Dino Totems to soften the ground," Blue Knight Ranger says.
"Now that you can't run anymore," Red Maxsaur Ranger says, presses the button on his Max Battle Claw.
Black Knight Ranger places a Dino Totem into his Dino Blade and closes its mouth, "We can cut you down to size."
Blue and Pink Knight Ranger close their Dino Blade's mouths, as Gold Knight Ranger readies his Mosa Blade.
Energy gathers around the five Rangers, each around Razorswift, as green energy flies to him, before the Rangers launch energy strikes, hitting Razorswift, but then he starts to glow green and green, causing explosions around and knocking back the Rangers.
"Who needs speed, when you're over ten stories tall!" Razorswift says, finishing growing.
"He has been busy playing sneak thief, how did he gather enough energy so fast?" Pink Knight Ranger asks, as the Rangers return to their feet.
"Answer…" the Rangers turn to see approaching them is Mechanoid, who has the black box attached to his back, with the cables wrapped around his shoulder and connects to his chest. "By combining my increased power output with the Queen's Energy Absorber."
"Energy Absorber?" Blue Knight Ranger wonders.
"Command: Razorswift, destroy the city, I will handle the Rangers," Mechanoid says.
"Neither of that is happening," Red Maxsaur Ranger says, before he charges ahead.
"Observation: you're wrong," Mechanoid says, as his cannons are surging with energy. "Observation: my power levels increased tenfold."
Mechanoid fires his cannons, blowing back Red Maxsaur Ranger, who rolls across the ground, as his body glows and the Maxsaur armor disappears.
"Kent!" Pink Knight Ranger says, as she, Blue, Black, and Gold Knight Rangers run over to their friend.
"Observation: you will finally be destroyed," Mechanoid says
"Observation: you're the one who will be destroyed," Black Knight Ranger says, before he and Gold Knight Ranger charge.
Black Knight Ranger strikes with his Dino Blade, but Mechanoid catches it and pushes it down, as Gold Knight Ranger strikes his shoulder with the Mosa Blade. Mechanoid flexes the shoulder, throwing the Mosa Blade off before punching Gold Knight Ranger in the chest, then pulls Black Knight Ranger into him and then arm swipe both Rangers.
Pink and Blue Knight Ranger charge at Mechanoid, but he armswipes away their Dino Blade and then punches them. Followed by Red Knight Ranger jumps at him with his Dino Blade raised, but Mechanoid punches away the Dino Blade, striking his chest and knocking him back.
"Observation: you can't win," Mechanoid lowers his arms. "Observation: I am finally completing my evolution."
Back at NexGex, a medium sized device with a speaker on the side seats on the table, as Riza closes a side panel.
"Okay, I think that should do it," Riza says.
"So this signal blocker can stop your other invention?" Buffy asks.
"In theory, it should lower the frequency or outright block any sort of signal or transmission, which is the basis of my power amplifier," Riza says. "I just wish for a chance at proper testing."
"I'm sure it will work," Buffy tells her.
"If only I have your confidence," Riza says, before starting to type on the keys on the back of the device. "Fortunately, I know my amplifier's signal frequency, so I can zero in on it, from any distance. And now, to activate it."
Riza presses a final key, as the signal block hums to life.
Mechanoid stands in front of the five Knight Rangers, as they slowly return to their feet.
"Final attack: commencing," Mechanoid says, as his cannons charge, before he starts to surge electricity. "Power failure. Power failure."
Sparks go off Mechanoid, followed by the black box falls onto the ground, as it surges with electricity.
"This is our chance," Red Knight Ranger says, as he, Pink, Black, and Blue Knight Rangers hurry to the side, to their Dino Force Cycles.
"Observation: This… can't… be happening…!" Mechanoid complains.
Suddenly the four Dino Force Cycles fire at Mechanoid, causing explosions around him, before he is knocked to the side.
Mechanoid returns to his feet, "Conclusion: Must… retreat…"
Mechanoid hurries to the side.
Riza presses another key on the back of the signal blocker, "I-I think it worked."
"I'm sure it did," Buffy says, before hugging Riza's shoulder.
"Thanks, Buffy, I couldn't get through this without your support," Riza says.
"What friends are for," Buffy says, before backing up. "Now, I better let my other friends know the signal blocker worked."
Riza then watches as Buffy runs out of the room.
Razorswift arm swipes the corner of an empty building, blowing it apart, "Who knows property damage is so much fun."
"Fun time is over," Green Knight Ranger says, as she rides her Dino Force Cycle, parking it next to her friends.
"Buffy, perfect timing," Red Knight Ranger says.
"Yeah, we're guessing your friend's idea to stop the power amplifier worked," Pink Knight Ranger says.
"You bet," Green Knight Ranger says, before looking up. "Now, let's put a stop to Razorswift."
"Right," Red Knight Ranger says, before looking up and holding up his Knight Morpher. "Zords combine!"
"Dino Knight Ultrazord, ready!"
"I heard you gave my friends the run around," Green Knight Ranger says, in her cockpit. "Try and outrun me."
"Be my pleasure," Razorswift says, before he turns around and starts running.
Dino Knight Ultrazord speeds ahead and strikes Razorswift in the back.
"That's a cheap shot," Razorswift says, before he turns around, as Dino Knight Ultrazord speeds past him. "Where did you go?"
Dino Knight Ultrazord speeds past Razorswift, who turns back around.
Dino Knight Ultrazord stops and then speeds back ahead.
"Here we are," Green Knight Ranger says, before punching.
Dino Knight Ultrazord punches with the Tyranno Head, hitting Razorswift, before striking him with the Mosa Head.
Green Knight Ranger starts to turn around.
Dino Knight Ultrazord spins around, as the Mosa Head starts to glow, before backhanding Razorswift, sending him flying through the sky. Dino Knight Ultrazord then speeds ahead.
Dino Knight Ultrazord speeds up into space.
Green Knight Ranger crosses her arms, "You've run your last mile."
Red, Gold, and Green Knight Rangers circle around their arms.
Dino Knight Ultrazord waves around its arms, as images of all of the Zords appear in front of it and face ahead, before all of the Zords fire large blasts, "Ultimate Zord Blast!"
All the blasts hit Razorswift, who is consumed in a large explosion.
Dino Knight Ultrazord holds up the Tyranno Head.
The next day, Buffy enters the labroom to find Riza examining the cable sticking out of the black box, sitting on the table.
"Hey, Riza, how are you doing after yesterday?" Buffy asks.
"Fine, the Rangers returned my power amplifier," Riza says, before sighing. "Unfortunately, it's too damaged to salvage."
"I'm sorry about that," Buffy says.
Riza smiles, "It's okay, really. I'm just gonna move forward."
Buffy smiles, "That's great to hear."
Unaware to the two, watching them from a window is Shroomie, who moves away from the window, before looking down and walking away, "Great, now she's too happy to make a monster from. Aw man."
In the Darkness Caverns, Mechanoid lowers his head in front of the Queen.
"Observation: apologizes for another failure," Mechanoid says, slowly raising his head.
"I don't see it as a failure," the Queen starts. "Both Razorswift and your Energy Absorber were able to collect some negative energies for me, but what's interesting was what was used to stop you."
"Analysis: I believed it was a signal blocking device," Mechanoid responds.
"No, I'm speaking of what was behind its creation," the Queen walks away from Mechanoid. "Positive energy."
