Story Start!

"Originally, I told her 'Megumin, I didn't actually buy you to have sex' but she didn't want to hear that. So, I mentally set up a quota and didn't tell her about it so that she can feel like she's an actual sex slave."

"But... she is a sex slave... right? I mean, can't you free her?"

"I can't free her, the contract is magically binding. She needs to pay back her debt to me in order to be able to buy her freedom back, and that can be done through more than just money." Naruto complainted to Meidri as they went shopping. Meidri had taken to Megumin, and had some questions for Naruto. "Honestly... if I had known the contract was enforced by magic, I would have asked for it to be adjusted." Naruto sighed at his own poor choice.

He had never even THOUGHT of buying a sex before Megumin, and originally he did it on order to free her from slavery since she was a good girl at heart. If he had known the contract was magically binding, he would have just given her the money to buy herself out of debt.

He didn't think of that at the time though.

Hindsight was 20/20 and all that.

"Ah... so the sex-"

"Is speeding up the process in which she buys her freedom back, her work for the pub speeds up the process as well. I told her that she didn't need to worry, that she could be a slave in name only, but she is the most prideful girl I've ever met." Naruto complained about his slave to Meidri. He was looking at the different items on the shelves in the store they were in, in order to find the best gift for Ivy.

She helped him so much.

"So she is like you."

"Yes, she's stubborn like me. She feels she has a duty to me, and as much as she complains about it, she will do her best to fulfill her duty... no matter how many times I tell her not to worry about it. Though, she does make a really comfy body pillow."

"You're a snuggler?" Meidri could easily picture Naruto as the type of person who slept better if he was hugging onto something or somebody. He shamelessly nodded his head, and he picked up an item off of the shelve. "... Ivy has three of those."

He put it back.

"I just wish there was a way that I could give her, her freedom without breaking the contract and making her suffer the magic. Still, at the rate we are having sex, her duties as a sex slave will be fulfilled in a couple of months and she can be freed from the contract... when combined with her server work for the pub that is." Naruto crossed his arms as he put more thought into which gift he was going to give Ivy. "All I can say, is that I'm never buying another slave again if I can help it." Naruto complained once more.

"I don't blame you."

"Not to mention, she still has feelings for Kazuma in her heart, and he has feelings for her. I want to free her as quickly as possible so they can make up." Naruto felt Meidri nudge against him. "What?"

She just smiled.

"That's really sweet of you."

"Not really, I mean, I want her to be happy. She's a good girl, and Kazuma is a good guy for all of his faults. It's not easy getting over your first love, and if I can help them fix their broken relationship, I want them to at least give it a try." Naruto couldn't help but think of how he tried to help Sakura get with Sasuke, even though he had a crush on her at the time he was helping her. A sweet smile came over his face as he remembered those bittersweet times.

Meidri took an item off of the shelf.

"Ivy has been wanting-" Naruto put it back on the shelf.

"I want to pick it out myself, but I want you to tell me if she will like it or not. I don't just want to buy the present, I want to put my feelings of gratitude for her into it." Naruto looked all around the shelves to try and find something. "Back to what we were talking about, I've got Zel looking at the contract to see if he and Kanchal can't find a loophole I can use to free Megumin faster." Naruto looked at a small dancing cactus, and shook his head.

Too stupid.

"You're going through a lot of trouble to help a girl you don't have feelings for."

"She's a good girl, who ended up in a situation because of bad luck, and I had the power to help her. It was the right thing to do, though that doesn't help me feel any less like a pervert for having sex with her. She's barely of age, really wish I would have known that sooner." Naruto wasn't too much of a fan of how she was just barely at the legal age in this world for the human species. At the same time, he didn't question her age partially because he was used to girls who looked younger than their age, or girls who were part of a smaller species.

When she called herself a "Crimson Demon" he thought that she was part of a small species like Piltia, an adult with a petite body, but she was a human who went by the crimson demon clan name or whatever.

"She's human... huh, go figure, I thought Crimson Demon were a type of Halfling from another dimension or something." Meidri had no clue that the girl was a human. She had assumed that crimson demons were a demonic species just like Naruto.

Naruto fisted his palm.

"I've got an idea!"

"For freeing Megumin?"

"For Ivy's gift, I want MAKE her a new soil pot. Something that she can bury herself in and get some good rest now and again, and fill it with some really nice soil." Naruto stated as he thought of the perfect gift for Ivy.

-Several Days Later-

"I fell into the volcano."

"Nice to see you're okay, and your hair is shorter again. Come to my room, we can trim up the uneven ends there." Ivy reached up and pat Naruto's shoulder. The height difference between them large enough that she couldn't reach the top of his head easily enough. Naruto's clothes were burned to hell, only scraps remaining. "How did you fall into a volcano?" Ivy asked Naruto, since she looked at him.

Other than his hair getting burnt, he looked pretty okay for a guy that fell into one of the hottest things you could find on a planet.

'By throwing myself into a volcano.' Naruto didn't answer the question as she led him towards her room.

The second she opened the door, she gasped in shock.

There was a Naruto clone in her room, standing next to a soil pot large enough to fit her body inside of it easily. Not only that, but the pot wasn't the prettiest thing, but it was painted to match her hair color. It even had her name on it, and she looked at Naruto just as the clone popped with a thumbs up.

"Wh-what is-"

"Happy Birthday Ivy!" Naruto pat the top of HER head with a wide grin on his face. "Thanks for everything you do for me, I hope you get a great night's sleep in this." Naruto told her as he reached into the pot and he showed her the soil.

It was super dark in color.

"... Volcanic soil!? You got me volcanic soil for my pot!? That's some of the best soil, but no plant species can handle the heat to go and get it... wait..." Ivy stopped when she realized something. "Did you jump into a volcano to get this for me!?" Ivy looked at Naruto, and he put his hands behind his head with a smile.

"Yep!"

"This... this... THIS... I have never got to plant myself in volcanic soil before. This is super high quality soil, and did you make this pot yourself!?" Ivy was freaking out over how great and personal his gift to her was. He made a large pot through his own efforts, and he went into a volcano just for her to get materials to make high quality volcanic soil just for her. "... and is this a hint of caffeine?" Ivy smelled the soil.

Naruto nodded.

"I had to travel up north to get some high quality coffee beans, then I used a Rasengan to grind them up and mix them into the soil. This is a luxury soil that you and you alone get to experience, so go ahead and experience it. You deserve a rest after all the hard work you do." Naruto pushed her towards the pot, and got her to climb into it.

Her vines started to dig into the soul, and she buried herself until only the top of her head was visible. Her vines sticking out of the soil in random spots, before they went limp from Ivy giving herself over to relaxation.

It was the best soil she had ever buried herself in.

One of her vines refused to let go of Naruto, and she peeked her head out from the soil and looked at him.

"... If you want... you can do your Sage mode meditating thing on top of my soil while I'm buried... please?" Ivy was a little more honest. She wanted to feel a powerful nature energy surrounding her room while she slept in the best soil of her life. "Please?"

Her voice was softer than usual when she asked a second time, and he couldn't refuse her.

Naruto spent 10 hours meditating while Ivy had one of the best sleeps she had ever had in her life.

Ivy loved her birthday present.
