A couple days into KO's confinement, the task force is still reeling from when KO last visit. They've known KO since he was a little kid, that bright eyed boy that wanted to be a hero. Who has helped them on more than one occasion, he was always there when somebody needed someone the most even if they didn't want it. He was pure, too pure for what the world would become today.

And it broke their hearts too see him locked up in a tiny cell with his hands in cuffs and his feet tied together, they didn't want to believe that the boy who would smile bright when working the bodega or fighting robots to protect would be a murderer.

The most broken of them all was Carol, who looks like she hadn't slept in days as she approached Dendy. "Dendy, I ask that you remove me from the case. Back then I let my maternal instincts get in the way, I don't think I work with you at this point in time."

Dendy sighed, "I understand, we can't let emotions get in the way of finding out the truth of Kira Omega. Believe this hurts me as much as it hurts you, I don't want KO to be Kira Omega but..."

Carol then demanded, "I also suggest you lock me up as well." the task force gasped at this, the mother's hands shook as her eyes burned a hole in the back of Dendy's head. "At the moment, I'm calm. But if this keeps up, I don't know what I'll do."

Dendy frowned, "I figured as much, so I made arrangements with Radford." Dendy said before taking an ice cream sandwich from a pyramid and biting into it, "However your confinement will be different. While behind bars you will be given constant updates on the investigation, we will not tell KO about this as it would only further worsen his mental stasis."

"LOCK ME UP TOO!"

Everyone jumped at the loud proclamation, and they were more shocked to hear it from Remy. Carol asked, "Honey are you sure?"

"Yes mom, because I believe in my brother."

"Well you heard the little lady, take them. I'll inform Radford." Dendy ordered.

(Day 10)

Carol sat on a chair in the cell she shared with her daughter, who was on the bed trying to entertain herself with a doll she was allowed to bring. But found it difficult due to the circumstances of the situation.

Out of all who was confined, Carol was clearly taking it the hardest. In times like these, its usually the parents who are more effected than the accused. Dendy had asked if Carol wanted a more comfortable seat, but she retorted that it doesn't matter where she sits. Her son is still under suspicion, and the only way she was leaving is with BOTH her children. She also asked Remy if she wanted pizza, who responded "Is KO cleared?"

"No."

"THEN NO!" before going back to playing with her doll.

Dendy then turned her attention to KO, who' currently doing some meditation. "Dendy, talk to me. Have there been any new criminals who's names were broadcasted? Anyone Omega would definitely target? Any of them die?"

Dendy spoke into a microphone connecting to his cell, "Actually, there have been plenty new criminals as of late. Some of them fitting quite well on Omega's hit list." she then frowned, "But unfortunately, since you've been incarcerated... we've had no reported deaths of any criminals at the hands of Kira Omega."

"No deaths?"

"Not a single one." this not only upset her, but all the other task force members. Cause now they're seeing proof of KO being Kira Omega, which was heartbreaking for KO's friends and family. Their image of him being the same sweet and caring hero that will save the world with a smile on his face is falling apart.

"Guess its only a matter of time before I'm convicted." KO said as if he was accepting his fate, but internally he knew it was about to change. With Dendy she was having a bit of trouble processing all this, she was hoping that the murder would continue after KO was locked up. But instead they stopped completely, and KO asked for confinement. If this continues it would strengthen the hypothesis that KO is Omega.

The question remains if he can prove he wasn't conscious of committing the murders, though its doubtful the punishment would be less severe it he wasn't. Its not like KO or Kira Omega, something was seriously fishy here.

(Day 20)

KO sighed as he kept his lotus position, his hands and feet still tied together. Fink bored out of her mind, and just aching for some KO fucking, just sat there twiddling her Shinigami thumbs. 'Its time'. He opened his eyes, alerting Dendy who watched on the monitors of the task force main room.

"You know, I probably look pretty bad right now. They say pride comes before the fall, and its true." KO said cryptically, "This stupid pride, guess its best if I...

... get rid of it!"

Fink's eyes snapped to KO, "Guess that's my cue." she stood up and went to leave, she looked back to KO "You better know what you're doing KO."

As soon as Fink left, KO felt his mind go hazy before opening his eyes. He looked around, wondering what's going on.

Dank, dark, steel bars, small space. Was he... was he in a jail cell? Why was he here?

Oh god. Oh god no!

"Dendy!"

"Yes KO?"

"I realize now that I asked for this, but I just remembered something. Something really important! This is all pointless!"

This confused the group, "Pointless?" Enid asked.

"What's he talking about?" Ben asked.

"Because I'm not Kira Omega! You have to get me out here!" KO begged.

Dendy gained a look of confliction, before answering "I wish I could, but I promised you that I wouldn't release you until I'm convinced you're not Omega no matter what. And my word is my bond."

"Please Dendy, I wasn't thinking clearly! Do you really think a serial killer like Kira Omega, could have committed those crimes without awareness of them? If I have no memory of those crimes, then I can't be him right?!"

"To be honest, I never accepted the idea Omega could have committed the murders without self-awareness. Frankly the idea just seems malarkey, and fruitless because all the evidence points straight to you KO. Since we've imprisoned you, there have been not one criminal death."

"Come on Dend- WOAH!" he tried to stand up but fell on his face because of his feet bindings, he then got on his knees and stared up at the camera. "Den you have to believe me, I can't be Kira Omega. We've known each other since we were kids, do you really expect your childhood friend to become a murder?!"

This made Dendy's internal war worse, she has known him when they were kids. He was always so cheerful and full of energy as a child, always looking the world with a bright smile full of optimism and purity. With aspirations of being hero, and she's kept track of his journey even when they fell out of touch. His drive, kindness, and pure heart are one of the many things she loves about him.

But all the evidence points to him as being the murderer Kira Omega, she doesn't know what to do.

Seeing KO in this state has her and the others worried.

(Tomorrow)

"GUYS!" Ben screamed as he burst through the doors, "I just heard 3 weeks worth of criminals have all died at once, it happened yesterday!"

Enid looked up form a newspaper, "Yeah I heard, Omega's at it again."

"You hear that Carol?" Rad asked into the mic to Carol's cell, "Omega's started killing again."

"What?" Carol questioned as she looked up, hair disheveled and eyes looking like those of Nicolas Cage.

"He has?" Remy was also alerted, having shot from under the covers of the cell bed.

Raven then spoke into the mic, "It appears Kira Omega was only resting, but now he's started punishing criminals again."

Remy and Carol squealed like fangirls at a Justin Timberlake concert and hugged each other, "This is amazing!" Remy squealed.

"Yeah, I know I shouldn't be happy people are dying but at least KO's name will be cleared!" Carol's face then dropped, "Oh wait, this won't be enough till Dendy says so." She and Remy looked to the camera pleadingly.

Everyone looked to Dendy, who hummed "Well... he's in the grey."

Elodie then said "We gotta tell KO-" before she can pressed the mic button to KO's cell, Dendy grabbed her hand. "Uh Dendy?"

The kappa pushed her away before pressing the KO mic, "KO?"

"Dendy?" KO, who was now curled on the floor.

She sighed, "Its been 3 weeks since you've been here, and not one criminal has been killed. So lets end this whole thing, and confess. Make this easier for the both of us." she almost sounding like she was pleading.

"I would, but my mother told me to never lie." he then kipped up and looked directly into the camera, "Even if all the evidence points to me, this is clearly a set up! Think about, who's help you and all the other members of the task force all the times you all needed it the most? Who's helped everyone he's met even when they weren't always the nicest to him? Who's only ever used violence for self defense in 19 years? Be honest with yourself Dendy, do you really think I'm a bad guy? Do you really have that little faith in me?"

Dendy saw the tears starting to form in KO's eyes, some were building up in her own as well. She turned her attention to the only other person on watch. "Combo, are you finally ready to tell me who Kira Omega is?"

Combo groaned, having been locked up for so long and without his body "That again? I wish I knew, because if I did I would thank him for punishing the man that killed my father. And saved me from joining him, to me Kira Omega is a bigger hero than KO."

Dendy looked between her two suspects, 'I don't know what's going on anymore.'
