Part 32

Caitlin and Barry walked through Central City park just before four in the afternoon. Both keeping their eyes open for Slade Wilson. They were approaching the pond in the park where people would feed ducks when Caitlin hear Mandy yell her name.

"Auntie Cait!"

Caitlin turned to the sound of her voice. She could see the five year old girl struggling against the grip of the man Oliver told her about. She felt Barry squeeze her hand as they approached the dangerous man and young girl.

"I see you kept your word." Said Slade

"I did now let the girl go." Said Caitlin

"I do that and you will come willingly?"

"I told you I would."

Slade let go of Mandy pushing her to Barry and Caitlin. Caitlin knelt down and hugged her niece.

"Mandy, I need you to go with Barry. He is going to take you to your mommy and daddy." Said Caitlin

"I want to stay with you!" said Mandy

"I understand sweetie. But I need to go with Mr. Wilson and make sure Aunt Thea is ok. You like Barry right?"

"Yes. When can I call him Uncle Barry?"

Caitlin's eyes went wide. She glanced at Barry and saw that his eyes were the same way.

"We can talk about that later. Now be a good girl and go with Barry."

"Ok love you Auntie Cait."

"Love you too sweetie."

Barry picked up Mandy and gave Caitlin a kiss. Then walked off leaving the woman he loved behind. Caitlin stood up and looked at the one eyed man not showing any fear.

"Let's go lass. Though I would be scared if I were you. I am sure Oliver told you about me."

"He did. I am sure he told you about me. But the thing is I am not the girl I was when he ended up on that island. I changed just like he did. In fact I changed a lot in the past year."

"Too bad Oliver may not get the chance to get to know the woman you have become."

"We will see." Said Caitlin as she let Slade take her by the arm.

Slade forced Caitlin to walk to a limo that was waiting and to get in the backseat. Caitlin was surprised to find Thea bond and gagged in the car.

"Thea are you ok?" asked Caitlin

Thea nodded her head.

"You promise not to scream and I will let you talk to your sister." Said Slade

Thea nodded and Slade pulled the cloth out of Thea's mouth.

"Caitlin, he is going to kill us!" said Thea

"Thea, look at me. I promise you that we will be ok. You know that Ollie isn't going to let anything happen to us."

"Is there anything you can do? You know to get us out of here?"

"Timing has to be just right. But just know the Flash, Green Arrow and the Canaries are very aware of what is going on. They may get some help from some new heroes soon."

"They are really coming for us?"

"Have I ever lied to you?"

"No you haven't."

"Then trust me."

"Cisco are you sure the tracker is working?" asked Oliver

"Yes. She is moving. From what I can tell they are heading to Starling." Said Cisco

"Damn! I know Caitlin will protect Thea. But Slade will kill them both for no reason other then to hurt me." Said Oliver

"Ollie, you need to calm down. Caitlin is smart. She knows what she is doing." Said Sara

"She has a point. I don't like that Cait has put herself in danger either. But we both know that it was the right thing to do for Mandy." Said Barry walking in with the little girl.

Oliver and Laurel turned to see their little girl holding Barry's hand.

"Mommy! Daddy!" yelled Mandy

"Mandy are you ok honey?" asked Laurel

"Yes mommy. Auntie Thea made sure no one hurt me."

"Good. Mandy these are some friends of your Auntie Cait's. Kara, Alex and Cisco." Said Oliver

"Hi." Said Mandy

"Hi honey. You are cute." Said Kara

"Mandy do you remember me?" asked Ronnie

"Uh huh you're Ronnie. You use to give me pizza all the time." Said Mandy

"Sure did kid. This is my friend Mr. Stein." Said Ronnie

"It is very nice to meet you Mandy." Said Stein

Mandy just smiled. Then she turned to her dad.

"Daddy you need to help Barry save Auntie Cait and Auntie Thea!" said Mandy

"Don't worry sweetie I am going get both of them back." Said Oliver

"We haven't met. I am your Aunt Sara. Your mommy is my sister." Said Sara

"Mommy talks about you. Said you were far away."

"I was but I am back now and I am going to help get your Auntie Cait and Auntie Thea back."

"Tell you what honey once we have Cait and Thea home you can spend some time with Auntie Sara who can be a lot of fun." Said Laurel

"Ok."

"But for now your mom and need you to stay here with Cisco and Alex." Said Oliver

"You will have fun with me kid. Uncle Cisco has some really neat toys you can play with." Said Cisco

"Cisco if you fill her with candy and other junk I will make sure that Caitlin makes your next physical is an eye opening experience." Said Laurel

"You scary girl."

Alex just smiled. She knew that Cisco was thinking of doing just that.

"Mandy, I bet you are hungry. If it is ok with your parents I know where your Aunt Cait hides her pizza pockets." Said Alex

"It's fine Alex. Caitlin gives her those when she babysits sometimes. But make sure she has juice or milk. No soda." Said Laurel

"No problem. Come on honey." Said Alex

Mandy took Alex's hand and went with her. Oliver and Laurel turned to Kara.

"So they let you in on their little secret." Said Oliver

"Well it was only fair. I let them in on mine. Though I could have found out who Flash and Frost were anytime I wanted. But I chose not too." Said Kara

"What do you mean? I mean you look harmless." Said Sara

"Well you know what they say looks can be deceiving." Said Kara floating into the air while lifting Ronnie.

"What the hell?" asked Oliver

"Oliver, Laurel and Sara meet Superman's cousin Kara Zor-El last daughter of Krypton." Said Ronnie

"So you can do everything Superman can do?" asked Laurel

"Yep. I actually don't need the glasses to see. I wear them as part of my disguise. Well once I get a suit anyway." Said Kara

"Funny you should bring that up. If you and Sara would come with me I have something for each of you." Said Cisco

Ten minutes later Kara came back dressed in her new suit. (The classic from the first four seasons.) Sara followed a few minutes later in her suit. (The second version of the White Canary suit.) Around her neck was a choker with some kind of device on it.

"What is with the collar?" asked Laurel

"That my dear Black Canary is a sonic device that mimics your cry. The device is keyed perfectly to your sister's vocal pattern." Said Cisco

"For those of us that don't speak geek it means only I can use it." Said Sara

"I am going to go take Mandy to my mother's then we can head to Starling." Said Laurel

"I will call Felicity and have her keep an eye on the tracker." Said Oliver

Barry walked off and went into the training room and started to run on the treadmill. He hated that he had been helpless to protect the woman he loves. Sara followed watching him. She had to admit while he wasn't her type. He was kind of cute. She could understand how Caitlin could fall in love with him. She had done her own research into him. That was one thing she learned in the league. How to look into targets so that she could take them out without being seen. Not that she was planning on taking out her friend's boyfriend. Well as long as her treated her right. Barry noticed her and stopped running. He got off the treadmill and walked over to her.

"You really love Caitlin don't you?" asked Sara

"I want to marry her. I want her to be the mother of my children. I want to spend the rest of my life with her not only as my partner stopping crime. But as my partner in life." Said Barry

"We will get her back."

"I know."

"So what is it like to run faster then the wind?"

"There is nothing like it."

Just to let you know that it might be a little while before I update again. Real life is going to be in the way for a little bit. I am moving in a couple weeks so I may not have a lot of time between that and working.
