Chapter Thirty-Two:
It was now time to start the semi-finals of the tournament. The fights for the semi-finals are as followed:
Jacob Vs. Kenta
Edward Vs. Krystal.
Only two out of these two fighters will get to advance to the finals. Which two of these four fighters will advance to the finals? Find out in this chapter of The Four Warriors Of The World!
Jacob: No way, I gotta fight Kenta?!
Kenta: There's no way I'm fighting Jacob!
Edward: Sorry, you two, there is no other way around it.
Jacob: Well, let the best competitor win.
Kenta: R-Right.
Jacob hugs Kenta being friendly and rivalry with her.
Jacob: Let's have a fun match, okay?
Kenta: Yes!
Krystal: Five Minutes.
Edward: For what exactly?
Krystal: For you to last against me.
Edward: Don't be so sure! I'm a lot stronger than I was last year.
Krystal: Ah, yes, you think so? Because of how I see it, you will be crying to your mommy once I hit you in the balls!
Edward: I think you completely forgot about the rules. If you hit me, you will be disqualified!
Krystal: I can find an alternative way.
Jacob: Let's do this!
Referee: Okay, Edward, Krystal, you two are next.
Edward and Krystal enter the arena as they were ready for their match.
Edward: (Thinking) Okay, here we go. Today, I finally get my revenge!
Krystal: Don't even think about grabbing them.
Edward: What?! Why would I?
Krystal: So you're not like the other idiots.
Edward: Besides, I already have a girlfriend. I wouldn't ruin what we have together.
Krystal: Let's just get over with it.
Edward and Krystal start making their way to the ring.
Announcer: And now, ladies and gentlemen, it is time to start the tournament's semi-finals' first match. And first, we can go to start with Krystal vs. Edward.
Joey: Hello, everyone, and welcome to the semi-finals of the tournament. My name is Joey Miles, and here is my co-host, Bulk Bogan. I would like to apologize for being absent in the second half of the tournament's first round. Bulk Bogan was stuck in the bathroom, and we had to get him out.
Bulk: Let me tell you something, brother, whoever locked me in the bathroom, is going to pay by having their salary being cut! So what are you going to do when the Bulkster goes wild on you! (Starts flexing and taunting for the crowd) What are ya gonna do!
Joey: I'm ready for the next round. And Bulk, sit back down!
Edward and Krystal then enter the ring, both of them focused. Edward was ready to get some revenge, and he sends the first attack on Krystal.
Referee: Okay, you two, I want to see a clean fight between you two. No eye pokes, eye rakes, or low blows, understand?
Edward and Krystal: Understand.
Referee: Okay, then. FIGHT!
Edward and Krystal: Understand
Edward and Krystal punch each other as the ground shakes a little; this made the ref lose his balance and fall on his butt.
Edward: I'm no pushover.
Edward then tries to kick Krystal, but Krystal dodges and kicks Edward in the gut, kicking him to his knees. Edward does a leg sweep, in which he kicks Krystal. She grabs the ring before falling out. Edward tries to kick Krystal out of the ring quickly, but Krystal quickly kicks Edward to his chest, stopping him in his tracks. Edward does a backflip to lands on his feet on the edge of the ring.
Edward: I'm no pushover like I was before.
Krystal: That is yet to be seen.
Edward: Then bring it!
Krystal: Why don't you?
Edward focuses his next attack on Krystal. Krystal shows a light smirk as she was ready for the next round with Edward. Edward then gets into a stance, ready for the next round. Edward and Krystal punch one another as Edward tries to punch her middle section, but Krystal kicks him down to the ground. Edward kicks her in the middle section as the crowd was surprised to see it. Seeing that Krystal was staggered, Edward took this opportunity to perform a hurricanrana on her, but she quickly turns it into a powerbomb, slamming Edward to the ground.
Joey: What a fight, ladies and gentlemen.
Bulk: Yeah, Brother, that lady saw what Edward was going to do and quickly turned the tables on him!
Edward flips them over as he slams Krystal down which. He placed his legs around her legs and performed the four-leg lock.
Joey: Oh no! Edward has locked in the four-figure lock.
Bulk: That attack focuses on the legs and feet, which it's a good technique.
Joey: And if you take away our opponent's legs, you take away power.
Bulk: That's right.
Krystal tries not to scream in pain and starts crawling to the ropes.
Edward puts more effort into the attack as Krystal was trying her best to grab the ropes. Edward was trying to prevent Krystal from grabbing the ropes, but Krystal's strength proved to be greater than Edward's, and she quickly grabbed the bottom rope. Edward breaks the four-figure-legged lock as he was getting back up as Krystal sits up with a furious expression. She was using the ropes to get back up since her legs were out of commission at the moment.
Edward: I show you I'm not some pushover.
Krystal: You think so?
Edward: Yeah, and I'm not sure if you've noticed, but your back is against the ropes. All I have to do now is kick you over the ropes, and I win.
Krystal: Oh, you think it's that easy?
Edward: Damn straight!
Edward then jumps up and does a flying kick to kick Krystal over the ropes. But Krystal quickly rolls out of the way and hit hits the crotch first into the top rope.
The Audience: Ohhhhhhhhh!
Edward screamed in pain when he felt his balls hitting the steel ropes and was sitting on the top rope, having it between his legs.
Joey: Now that has hurt this man's pride.
Bulk: Let me tell you something, brother, I know what it's like to get hit below the belt, brother, and that's not fun.
Krystal superkicks Edward out of the ring, winning the match.
Referee: Edward has fallen out of the ring. Krystal is the winner!
Edward: Hey! Hold on a minute! (Slowly starts getting back up) She should be disqualified! She just attacked me by the balls!
Referee: No, she didn't. That happened on your own doing. You just got cocky.
Edward: OH, COME ON!
Krystal let out an evil grin. Being a swore loser, Edward went back into the ring to attack Krystal, only for her to kick him in the balls.
Edward: OH, COME ON!
Edward then fell to his knees, grabbing his balls.
Referee: Doctors, get out here and takes this guy to the back!
The doctors then began to take Edward to the back on a stretcher. Jacob felt depressed that he does not get a fight with Edward, but someday they'll meet in the arena to test each other. At least, he hoped.
Jacob: Edward, are you okay?
Edward: Yeah, kid, but good luck in your match.
Jacob: I will do my best.
Kenta: Poor, Edward.
Jacob: Yes, but whoever wins, then someone has to fight Boobzilla.
Kenta: Jacob, you do know she has a name, right?
Jacob: I forget her name
Krystal: IT'S KRYSTAL!
Jacob: Krystal.
Kenta: But still, how you won was just dirty!
Krystal: Oh, and what makes you think that?
Jacob: I'm sorry, but I was doing little training. How did she win... By flashing her breasts to Edward then knock him out of the ring?
Kenta: (Knocks her head on the wall) What the... Where the hell did you learn those words, Jacob!?
Jacob: Edward told me.
Kenta and Krystal were looking at each other which they nod to agreed to punish Edward for teaching clueless Jacob those words.
Referee: Jacob, Kenta, you're up next.
Jacob went to the arena and waves at the crowd with a gentle smile, and the crowd began cheering.
Krystal: What a loser.
Kenta: At least he's not like you.
Krystal: I'm not going to lose to him or you.
Kenta: What makes you think that you're going to fight him? You might be fighting me for all you know.
Krystal: Who knows besides I'm going to watch this match.
Referee: Excuse me, miss Kenta, you're up next.
Kenta was going to the arena which Jacob was waiting for her. Jacob couldn't wait to face Kenta since he knows she's gotten stronger over the last year. Kenta enters the arena in which she was ready to fight with Jacob.
Referee: Okay, you two, I want a clean fight from you two. No eye pokes, eye rakes, or low blows, understand?
Jacob and Kenta nod at the referee as they do fist bump with each other.
Bulk: Now that's a show of respect between the competitors.
Joey: That's right, Bulk; these two obviously have great respect for each other.
Bulk: And I believe they might have romantic feelings for one another too.
Jacob: What is romantic mean? Is it like some food? (Everyone drops because they can't believe how clueless Jacob is)
Kenta: Jacob, questions you may have, I'll answer them after the fight, deal?
Jacob: Agreed.
Referee: Begin!
Both Jacob and Kenta get into a fighting stance. Jacob and Kenta racing towards one another to clash their arms together, making the ground beneath them shake. Jacob tried to punch Kenta, but she dodges the attack. Kenta then tries to elbow Jacob, but Jacob managed to block her attack. Jacob kicks Kenta away as he shoots an energy blast at her, but she dodges them. Kenta jumps onto the second row of rope with Jacob was smiling at her as she returns the smile. Kenta then jumps up to deliver a missile dropkick. Jacob catches Kenta as a bridal style but turns into an elbow slam.
Joey: Damn, I don't know how Jacob did it but managed to reverse that dropkick.
Bulk: Well, he's an impressive character, brother.
Jacob then tries to pin Kenta but only got one count. Kenta swings her finger at Jacob it saying it's not going to be that easy, and Jacob couldn't help but smile, knowing this would be a good fight. Jacob jumps away as he was ready for the next round with Kenta.
Jacob: I think that's enough time for a warm-up.
Kenta: You got that, right!
Jacob: Kenta, you amazing, and your technique are better than before.
Kenta: To tell you the truth, I'm just getting started.
Jacob: Then show what you got (Shows a bring it on for Kenta with a warm smile)
Kenta then ran toward Jacob and unleashed a fury of attacks, which Jacob blocks all of them. Jacob swings a strong punch, but Kenta barely dodges the attack; Kenta tries to kick Jacob. Still, he blocks the kick, she then tries to punch him, witchy barely managed to dodge, Jacob then tries to kick Kenta, but Kenta ducks under the kick and tries to punch Jacob, but he quickly dodges the attack.
Jacob: This is incredible.
Kenta then tries to kick Jacob, but he quickly ducked under it, and Kenta tries to unleash a fury of punches at Jacob, but he managed to block them all. Jacob jumps away, but Kenta spears him. The shock of the spear made the ring shake. Kenta then pins Jacob.
1... 2...
Jacob kicks out. The crowd was surprised, and the referee was saying two at announcers.
Joey: Woah, only a two count for Kenta.
Bulk: This kid is something else, brother!
Just then, Jacob gets Kenta into a surprise pin.
1... 2...
Kenta quicks out and backs away from Jacob.
Kenta: Incredible.
Joey: Woah, it looks like Jacob tried to catch her off guard, but he only got a two count.
Bulk: He's sneaky
Jacob gets back on laying down as he was ready for the next round with Kenta.
Kenta: (Thinking) Woah, he almost got me there. I better be careful, or else I'll else it will be over before I know it.
Jacob: Kenta, how about we hang out after this because I'm kind of getting hungry.
Kenta: Well, then, you better order a buffet because I'm going to make you work for that appetite of yours!
Jacob: Oh, I believe Edward called it a date?
Kenta: (Starts blushing hard) A... Date?
Jacob: Did I say it wrong?
Kenta: Um... No...
Bulk: Joey, what did I just hear that boy say just now?
Joey: I believe he wants to date her after this match.
Bulk: For he even knows what a date is?
Jacob cheers for Kenta was not going to take it back on what he said.
Kenta then shakes her head; that was not the time to be thinking of romantic thoughts. She had a match to win.
Jacob wasn't going to hold anything back.
Jacob: Okay, Kenta, here I come! I'm going to give you everything I got!
Kenta: Bring it on.
Jacob then ran towards Kenta to do a slide kick on her, but she quickly jumps out of the way to kick Edward in the head, but he quickly dodges and gets back up. Kenta and Jacob then unleashed a fury of attacks at each other; they were both blocking and countering each other's attacks. It looks like neither of them could get the upper hand on the other. Jacob and Kenta were breathing in then out as they have done their best to get the upper hand.
Joey: Look at those two go! They are fighting at great speed!
Bulk: Impressive and amazing too, brother.
Eventually, Kenta would gain the advantage and go on the offense while Jacob went into the defensive. He was trying to block all of her attacks to the best of his ability.
Jacob: (Thoughts) Damnit, this is impossible.
Jacob needed to get some distance, so he did a leg sweep on Kenta to make her fall; he backed away to catch his breath. Kenta does a handstand then gets back onto her feet.
Bulk: Why did Kenta do a handstand, brother?
Joey: To get back onto her feet.
Bulk: That's weird, brother.
Jacob does backflip to get back on his feet, and he was ready for the final round, but he could tell that Kenta does not want to give up. Jacob then did a flying heel kick towards Kenta, only to step out of the way and put Jacob in an ankle lock. Jacob was trying his best not to tap out or scream out of pain.
Joey: Oh no, Jacob got caught in the ankle lock.
Jacob flips over then kicks Kenta away from him as he was trying his best to get up on his feet. Jacob needed to use the ropes to help him get up. Kenta saw this as the perfect opportunity to toss Jacob out of the ring.
Kenta: You fought a good fight, Jacob, but this is where I am going to win!
Kenta then ran towards Jacob to kick him out of the ring. However, Jacob does the unexpected; Jacob quickly pulls down the ropes while squatting down, making Kenta fly over the ropes. Kenta quickly sees this and quickly grabs the ropes to prevent herself from falling out of the ring.
Kenta falls, but Jacob takes her hand with his hand and then begins pulling her back into the match.
Bulk: What the, why did he pull her back in? He had that match won!
Joey: I... I don't know.
Kenta: (Catches her breath) Why... Why did you help back in?
Jacob: I want to beat you fair and square.
Kenta: (She chuckles) Well, I hate to break this to you, but that is a decision you might regret making.
Jacob: I don't regret anything, but I do love fighting new people.
Jacob and Kenta then take a step back from each other, getting some distance.
Kenta: (Thinking) I better not underestimate Jacob; he can be a crafty one.
Just then, Kenta dashed towards Jacob and elbowed him to the jaw, and makes him fly to the ropes. Jacob hits the ropes, but he uses the extra force to spear Kenta then pins her.
1... 2...
Kenta kicks out.
Joey: My gosh! This match is incredible
Crowd: This is awesome! (Cheers and claps for the match)
Jacob then charges towards Kenta and runs quickly to her with a strong punch, landing at her midsection. This briefly knocks the wind off of Kenta, but Kenta quickly punches Jacob in the midsection, knocking the wind off of him; Jacob smiles at Kenta for showing respect to his rival and kicks her left leg hard as he was dodging the attack from Kenta, Kenta managed to catch herself and catch her balance. Jacob then charged toward them to try to punch her, but Kenta ended up dodging the punch and tried to catch Jacob back, only for him to catch it. Jacob then tries to punch Kenta using her free hand, but Kenta ended up catching it and then kicked Jacob in the gut and threw him across the ring. Jacob managed to catch himself and charged towards Kenta and started a rapid series of punches towards Kenta, only to block every one of them with her hands. Jacob then launches an over-hook punch, only for Kenta to duck under it. Jacob then tried to kick Kenta, only to jump on her kick and jump away from Jacob; Jacob goes in hot pursuit, only to see Kenta launch himself towards Jacob and punch him in the face, sending him flying. Jacob managed to catch himself, but before he had time to recover, Kenta sneaks up behind Jacob and tries to punch him out, which Jacob quickly ducks under. Jacob then tries to kick Kenta, only for her to dodge the kick. Jacob tries to kick Kenta again, only for Kenta to dodge again. Jacob then began to launch a series of punches at Kenta, only for Kenta to block every punch with his hands. Kenta then catches Jacob off guard by punching him in the face. Then she kicks Jacob in the gut, Then shoots an energy blast at Jacob, sending him halfway across the ring. The blast would've even sent him out of the ring if Jacob didn't grab the blast and send it shooting towards the sky.
Jacob then charges towards Kenta and punches her stomach, thus knocking the wind off of him. Then Jacob punched Kenta in the face, which sends her flying. Jacob goes on the hot pursuit towards Kenta and starts rapidly punches her in the stomach after he punches her thirty times in twenty-mile seconds. Jacob then upwards kicks Kenta in the face, sending her flying in the air, then Jacob goes on the hot pursuit towards Kenta. However, Kenta manages to catch herself and head back down to the ring. Kenta sees an opening and punches Jacob in the face. But seeing that Kenta got cocky, he quickly kicks him in the face; Kenta attempts to over-hook punch Jacob, only for Jacob to duck under his punch and jump back. Kenta then dashes towards Jacob and attempts to punch him, but Jacob quickly jumps out of the way flies back to Kenta to kick him. But Kenta grabbed Jacob's kick and attempted to counterattack him, but Jacob ended up counterattacking her counter-attack. Still, soon Kenta quickly counterattacked his counter-attack, which led Jacob to counter-attacked her counter-attack, rinse, and repeat. Jacob and Kenta were breathing in then out as they were trying their best to beat each other.
One minute of countering attack after counter-attacking later, Kenta finds an opening and kicks Jacob in the face, which sends him flying across the ring. Jacob quickly catches himself and dashes towards Kenta; Kenta attempts to punch Jacob out, only for his punch to go right through her. This turned out that this Jacob was an afterimage, but quickly the real Jacob shows up and kicks Kenta in the face, sending her flying across the ring. Kenta manages to catch herself and charges towards Jacob to punch him; Jacob quickly ducks under Kenta's punch and performs a leg sweep on her, only to find out that this Kenta was an afterimage. Kenta then appears and attempts to punch Jacob out but realizes that Jacob was an afterimage. Then Jacob showed up and attempted to kick Kenta in the face, only to find out that this Kenta was another afterimage. Then Kenta shows up and attempts to kick Jacob in the gut, only to find out that Jacob was an afterimage. Jacob then appears and attempts to do a leg sweep at Kenta but realizes that this Kenta was an afterimage. Then Kenta showed up and attempted to kick Jacob in the chest, only to find out that this Jacob was another afterimage. Jacob appeared and attempted to punch Kenta in the face, but Kenta grabbed Jacob's punch and attempted to counterattack him, but Jacob ended up counter attacking his counter-attack. But soon, Kenta quickly counterattacked his counter-attack, which led Jacob to counter-attacked his counter-attack, rinse and repeat. Soon Jacob finds an opening and kicks Kenta upward into the sky. Jacob then goes into hot pursuit and elbows her back down to the ring; Jacob then goes into hot pursuit and attempts to kick Kenta in the gut.
But Kenta grabbed Jacob's kick and attempted to counter-attack him, but Jacob ended up counterattacking his counter-attack. Soon, Kenta quickly counterattacked his counter-attack, which led Jacob to counter-attack his counter-attack, rinse, and repeat. Soon Kenta sees an opening and tries to kick Jacob, but Jacob quickly ducks under his kick, but Kenta sees this as an opening and tries to punch Jacob. But Jacob quickly jumps out of the way and kicks Kenta upwards to the sky. Jacob then shoots an energy blast towards Kenta, but Kenta manages to catch himself and easily deflects it. Still, the energy blast turned out to be a distraction as Jacob showed up behind Kenta and kicked her on the back. Kenta then quickly punches Jacob in the face and performs an ax handle at Jacob, causing him to fall back down to the ring, but Jacob manages to land on his feet.
Joey: What a battle!
Bulk: That's right, brother. These two are battling it out to see who is the best. Oh yeah.
Jacob: (Thinking) Damn, Kenta is good.
Kenta: (Thoughts) Jacob, your incredible, and you deserve to be a hero someday.
Joey: These two look like they are about to deliver the final round!
Bulk: Well, I believe it's time for this match to come to a close because everyone is cheering for them.
Jacob: Kenta, I just wanted to let you know that it's been fun fighting you.
Kenta: I had an amazing time with you too, but I have to win this tournament because I want to show everyone that I'm strong too.
Jacob: I think you've already proven that.
Kenta nods at Jacob, which she was going to do swinging clothesline, but Jacob spears Kenta in midair then pins her; this spear was much more powerful than the last.
1... 2... 3!
Referee: (Calls for the bell) Three-pin count fall! Jacob is the winner!
Jacob was slowly getting up, but he would fall over as Kenta gets up on her feet, and she helps him onto his feet. The crowd began to began giving the two a standing ovation.
Jacob: You... You were an amazing opponent, Kenta.
Kenta: So... So were you.
Referee: Folks, we will have time for the competitors to rest up.
Joey: Indeed. We need our last two fighters to be 100% before going to the finals.
Bulk: True to that
Jacob and Kenta then began to make their way back to the back.
