Now what am I gonna do?! My raincoat permanently has cat ears! /n/ This is all Mono's fault! Why would he want to put this on here anyway? If anything, it just made his work harder for him!
Hmm… Maybe… I wonder if… Does Mono have a weak spot for cats? I mean… he really likes fluffy… Maybe these are actually fox ears? Maybe he really likes cats -w- Hey Mono, do you like cats that much? If only it wasn't this embarrassing to ask this question to him /n/ Anyway, I don't really have anything that I can do about these things… I kinda like them… I guess… -/n/-
…
Mono grinned at himself while reading the page. He closed the diary, and hid it in the drawer. "I do like cats, Six…" The boy mumbled to himself, sitting back down at the bed. He sat there for a while, thinking of what Six wrote. "I hope that the cat ears stay for a little bit longer…" He mumbled to himself again, grinning even more. Suddenly, he heard footsteps that were getting louder. They stopped, though, and his door stayed close. "Six?" The boy thought, getting up from the bed. He walked over to the door, and turned the doorknob. The door slowly opened up, revealing Six on the other side.
…
"The ears are still intact!" Mono cheered in his mind, keeping quiet. Six kept quiet too, however. "Uh… Six?" The boy asked the girl's name out loud. She gave a sigh, and closed her eyes. Suddenly, she opened up her palm, and made a paw. With one eye open, she tilted her head slightly, and looked at Mono directly. The boy still kept silent, only looking shocked and confused at the girl. "mew~"
…
…
…
"GAAAHHH! WHAT AM I DOING?!" Six began to run downstairs, leaving a petrified, yet excited and smug Mono. "WAIT! WAIT! SIX!" He yelled, pursuing the girl, with a big uncontrollable smirk on his face. "GO AWAY! Breakfast is ready!" She ran to the back door. "I'll eat later, just come closer to me!" Mono kept running after her. "NO!" Six yelled, finally getting outside, and running further onto the fields. "ssSIIIX!" The boy finally was able to get close to her. Mono jumped, and tackled Six down to the ground, though he made sure not to hurt her in the slightest. "AAH! MONO! Let Go!" She wriggled around, trying to escape. After a while of unsuccessful struggles, however, she gave up. The two kept quiet for a while…
"…Mew, huh?"
Six' face lit up. She slowly turned to look at Mono. His smug little smirk has never looked so annoying.
"Shut Up!"
