It was already starting to become dark outside. Fewer and fewer people were walking on the street, but it was still quite lively. Especially when a full team and a half were shouting names. Team RY and JNPR started looking for the rest of the former mentioned team. They were gone for hours and no one knows where they disappeared to. This action happened a lot lately. And one of them is always doing this.
They looked around the whole house, but no luck for them. Ruby told everyone that she was the one who saw them last when she and Weiss got back from the shopping. From that point, it's a mystery where they went. And why haven't they came back yet? At least they could have said something about it. Disappearing without notice is not cool. Especially for Raven as she was the teacher who held responsibility for them. She didn't pay attention to them that much, as they are not children anymore. She surely thought that they won't do anything stupid.
She and Cinder were still looking around at the house, in case they could find anything. They even checked the intruder but weirdly enough, he still seemed out. He wasn't looking good. It's even possible that he is in a coma. It seemed totally pointless searching here even more but considering how stupid they can be, she wouldn't be surprised if they locked themselves in a room or something. But they checked everywhere and still nothing.
Of course the first thing they did was call their scrolls when they were in the living room. Hoping that this once they can have a calm night. It's not happening, as their scroll was obviously ringing in the house in some place. Weiss didn't have her scroll because when they arrived she threw her bag into the room, forgetting her things there. Her mind is not the clearest these days. And we can't forget that Raven took the faunus' scroll while she was mowing the grass. Now she can blame herself for that. But who in the world would have thought this would happen.
At the moment, she was sitting on the couch, thinking where they could possibly be. Could they have been kidnapped? Or they just ran away like rebellious teenagers? She hoped the second option was the case because a kidnapping wouldn't be fun to deal with. Although, she is not worried about that faunus if it comes to protecting the heiress. She would actually feel bad for the kidnapper if that happened.
"Nothing." Cinder informed the woman, walking back to the main room. She walked next to her, thinking about the situation. She wanted to find them too. Maybe she wasn't that worried but didn't ignore them, as anything bad could happen to them.
"It's already dark outside and they are nowhere to be found. We can't reach them through any technological device, as I was dumb enough to think they can be in one place for more than a hour." Raven started raging to herself while Cinder watched her idly. Not like she could come up with anything. And everyone was so tired already after that long flight. They might just have to give up for the day. Maybe they will come back tomorrow.
"I'm just guessing here but… Do you think they went out because they wanted to spend the night together alone?" Cinder's words were flying in the air as Raven stopped thinking fully. She didn't think of the most obvious possibility. She looked at Cinder with a face that said, 'You might be right.' Hoping that this is what happened, she calmed down a bit.
"Now that you mention it." She stood up, holding her hand to her mouth, thinking. "I can see how that horny cat can drag that innocent girl away."
"She is not that innocent but sure."
"That is not the point here. The point is, that we don't have to worry about them. Better if they do it in a hotel room or something and not here so everyone can hear it." She said, totally seriously.
"Jesus, Raven, you are a shameless person." Cinder stated, slapping her own face, as she couldn't believe what the other woman just said. She could totally see how Blake would initiate it but Weiss doesn't let things go that easily.
Raven didn't answer. She seemed like she was thinking hard about something. Cinder hoped she was not imagining anything improper. Then the main door opened and the rest of the group came back. Without the two missing people so they didn't have luck on their end either. They only searched a little further away from the house. And that faunus ran pretty fast and much more distance than that.
"Ahhwgg!" Yang started raging. "I can't believe we weren't able to find them! Where the hell are they?" She asked from no one actually. She was in disbelief so she had to release her flames. Raven walked close to her, putting her arm on her shoulder.
"Calm down. They will come back tomorrow. And if they are not, we will search the village that is a little far from here, but maybe they are staying there." The first time she said something 'nice' to Yang. The brute didn't seem touched as she shoved her hand away from her shoulder.
"You just don't care what will happen to them, so why not just say it." She spit out the words, already turning her eyes red. She was mad, and Raven hated when she could see her own pair of eyes reflected from her daughter. She saw herself in Yang and she didn't want her child to become like her. And it only happened when she was mad and fused with anger. Just like she was angry at her mom for leaving her.
She walked away and you could feel the heat emitting out of her body. She walked upstairs, probably to her room. Raven couldn't leave this as it is so she followed her. Cinder told the others to stop the searching and rest for the night. If they won't hear anything from them tomorrow, they will start a much bigger and serious search. But for now, they can't really do anything in the dark.

Blake and Weiss were in an inn at the moment, as they had to stay somewhere. They were sitting in the waiting lounge, as the cleaners prepared their room. This was an urgent case. The inn was already closing, but at least Weiss had her credit card, paying a pretty high sum as the employees had to stay to work overtime. They were sitting on a couch, quietly. Not until Blake broke the silence.
"We should just go and look for the way home." She said, and this statement of hers was really pointless and for Weiss it seemed unreasonable.
"What? I already paid for it. And it is pitched dark outside. It's one thing that you can see in the dark, but I can't. And I'm not going to waste my time in the middle of the night. This is your fault we are in this position anyway." She was on edge. It was fun spending some time with the faunus and enjoying themselves. But her being a thoughtless idiot is making her angry.
"I know and I already said sorry. I wasn't thinking." She pleaded to the other girl who was crossing her arms and was frowning.
"It's not the first time you are not thinking." Blake didn't know what else she could do. Yeah, she messed it up. Pretty big this time. She flattened her ears while looking at her arms that were on her thighs. She has lost this battle from the start. Weiss was absolutely right. The heiress looked at her from the corner of her eyes, seeing her defeated. She almost said something to her so she wouldn't feel down, but she restrained herself.
"Acting like you are hurting, won't help you." But she couldn't keep her mouth shut. She knew this conversation won't lead anywhere but her anger hasn't died down.
"I'm not acting…" She answered quietly. She felt like she was in Ruby's shoes now. She is the one who is always scolded by Weiss.
"Ladies, your room is done." Said the concierge, with a smile that hid her tiredness. It was pretty late.
"Thank you." Showed Weiss her appreciation with a totally different tone. Blake looked up while still holding her head low. Thinking that the heiress is the one who is acting. Then Weiss looked at her like she could hear what she was thinking. She immediately pushed her head down even lower. "We will continue this in the room."
"But there is nothing to continue…" mumbled Blake while slowly following behind the heiress.
"Just zip your mouth and let's go already." It seems she heard her as they were walking upstairs.

Raven was knocking on the door of that team's room. After a little waiting, Yang finally decided to open the door. She must have thought it was Ruby. She looked outside, seeing that annoying teacher instead.
"Oh…" She said this much, and Raven could see her expression turning into irritation. At least her red eyes turned back to lilac. "I didn't expect you. But the little I know about you, I'm quite surprised that the door is still in one piece." When she finished insulting the woman, she left the door open, walking back to her bed and sitting on it. They had beds instead of futons. The only difference from their dorm room is that they weren't bunk beds. Raven followed her inside, closing the door.
"You are aware that you are talking to a teacher, right?" This time, she left that harsh tone of hers outside. She tried to talk to her like a mom would do. Obviously, she can't let her find out so she has to keep that student-teacher manner but with Yang's attitude, it was more like a teen-to-adult talk who hated each other.
"If the teacher in question doesn't respect me, why should I? It's a back and forth thing. You give and get." Yang said harshly, only looking at her when she reached the last part of her reasoning.
"Sometimes only one of them happens."
"What is your point anyway? I don't see it as you would like me. Treating me much worse than the others. No one has talked to me like that before, and it's actually throwing me off." She looked a bit hurt. As much confidence she has and looks like she doesn't care about things. Some bad words can hurt her too. She is a person too and no one can ignore the insults. Even if they are meaningless, it gets to you.
"I don't want your confidence to backfire on you." Raven said, moving closer to the bed.
"By destroying it, you are doing the opposite of helping." She was looking at the floor, becoming a little emotional. Raven wanted to see this side of her. She only saw the reckless, overconfident brute who always breaks through a wall by force. Instead of going around it to get to the other side. Raven sat down next to her, but kept the distance this time.
"Yang… I can see that things are troubling you. You don't have to hide your true feelings from others. They are there to help you." She advised, but she felt regret. She left her when she was little, so this statement can't be said about her. For the first time, she really wanted to hug her daughter, but Yang felt disdain towards her. She had no idea how she would react if she found out that she was talking with her mother at this moment. The blonde finally looked at her, and Raven could tell from her eyes that she was sad.
"Everything is going wrong… these past few days." She let out her true feelings this time and Raven felt something that she missed out all those years. It almost felt like a mother-daughter conversation. "Blake is just… I have— I want her close to myself… but at the same time… I'm scared that someone will suffer severe damage at some point if this goes on as it is." So she has worries about her friend. It almost sounded like she had feelings for her. Raven hoped that wasn't the case because she would get hurt.
"It's okay. But we can't really do anything. We don't know what's causing this. But at least we know that she is not the only one. That gives us a better chance of finding out." Raven replied. Yang looked away and smiled a little. "I thought you were sad, but now you're smiling. Yang, I really recommend working on your emotions."
"I was smiling about how you can be a nice person as well. Wanting to help and stuff. And you should too. You're not the easiest person to handle." She said jokingly. She changed her view about this woman. She is not that bad, when she is not insulting her. Well, I guess I did the same with her so… Give and get, right?
"True. But easy is boring, isn't it?" She said while standing up, Yang doing the same.
"Right. Thank you for the pep talk, I guess."
"Sure. I will try to be less picky on you. But if you do something stupid, then don't be surprised." She walked to the door, showing her intention to leave. "Now go to bed. Tell Ruby that she is too. Tomorrow we have a search to do." She waved at her then left. It's not that bad that there is someone she can talk to about this. She doesn't want to burden her little sister with it.
With that said, only one thing left for the night is to find her.
