31.- Petr Zdik
The Strahov Monastery has now been turned into a crime scene. The place where the body of Monk Kalevit of Kremikovtzi monastery has been disposed. Father Petr Zdik is taking care of the usual maintenance tasks in the monastery, which has been completely devoid of services since that atrocious murder. People in Prague hide whenever Cabal business is heard.

A knock in the door is heard. "Sorry, Lady," Petr says. "The monastery is closed." She knocks again, and again, and again. Then, Petr opens. "What is so urgent?" he asks. "Brother Bogomil," the woman says. "I was hoping to find something about him here. I was in the Library last week, but now everything is closed!" Father Petr makes the sign of the cross. The woman in front of him is surely impatient.

"Brother Bogomil was a heretic," Father Petr says. "What is your business with Gnosticism?" The lady pulls her gun out. "My business isn't with religion, but with the Cabal," she says. "They murdered my mentor a few months ago, and now they are running strange businesses again. Like that poor priest from Kremikovtzi." Yet Father Petr is not concerned about a gun being pointed at him. She isn't even attempting to menace her. "How is it that a lady thinks that she can single-handedly defeat the Cabal?" Father Petr asks. She puts her gun down, and then she takes a glove off. In her hands, a blood sign is inscribed.

"That's Eckhardt's!" Father Petr says scared. "Get away from me, unholy beast!" The woman approaches him. "All I need is that you open that library for me," the woman says. "I can enter through here, and avoid unnecessary deaths, or I can enter straight through the Strahov Fortress. You choose." Father Petr sees an unrelenting fire in her eyes, but no ill intentions. "Follow me," he says.

He guides the girl through the Library, until she starts guiding him. A monastery that old obviously has a statue of the Order of Lux Veritatis. The lady starts scanning the statue, until a mechanism is activated and the statue moves and leaves a gap open. "Well, here I leave you," she says. "By the way, I may come back in a few hours. After that, seal this entrance, unless you want a tunnel that leads straight to the Strahov Fortress." Father Petr gulps. He has been unaware that the Cabal was at a tunnel's length from his precious monastery.
