("Prom was fun, I didn't get a chance to dance with Eddie, but he performed and was amazing. I'll be happy with seeing him and being his friend, kind of upset he's dating someone that isn't me. Life goes on, not much I can do, he keeps in touch with me, calls for gift ideas for Pippa, ugh, wish I could zap his butt, if he only knew how much it bothers me. There were several weeks of school left and we finally graduated, I can't believe I'm done, I wasn't sure what to do with my life, everything fell into place for me, I'm still modeling for Sally, while modeling I suggested changes for many of the fashions, she loved my ideas, and said this is my calling, now I attend the fashion institute of design in L.A. I'm learning so much, and I'm doing great. It's been almost a year and I'll be done soon. Mel's taking several classes to improve her career, she'll be the best make-up artist to dress the celebrities of Hollywood. I think she and I will be partners.")

"Loren are you done?" Sally asks.

"I am, what do you need?"

"Eddie's at the Avalon, there's a wardrobe malfunction, can you go and check? I know you're friends and he won't mind if I send you."

"Why would he mind? We're friends, I need a few more months and I'll be done with school, I'm sure it's ok to go in your place."

"Yes it's ok, I can't go and my other assistants are on another job, it's a crazy weekend in Hollywood."

"Ok." Loren gets her things ready and heads towards the Avalon, when she arrives, Eddie's on stage going over a few moves, he's been to several cities in California, he'll be touring soon. She walks towards the stage area.

"Hi Eddie."

He turns her way and smiles. "Hey girl, what are you doing here?"

"I heard you have problems with your wardrobe?"

"Oh yeah, talk to Milly."

"I heard you'll be touring soon, are you excited?"

Eddie stops and walks towards Loren and sits on the edge of the stage. "I can't believe it, I've sold out on every show at the Avalon, and the many cities I've been too."

"I'm not surprised, I knew it."

He smiles. "You're my biggest fan."

Loren bites her lower lip. "You know it."

Milly walks into the stage area. "Mr. Duran, we need to get your leather jacket fixed."

Loren gets her things. "I'm here to get it done." She looks at Eddie. "Have fun tonight."

"Thanks Girl."

Milly takes Loren to Eddie's dressing room. "It's in the rack behind the mirror."

"Thanks." She walks in and Pippa is sitting in the chair by Eddie's dresser. "Hi Loren."

Loren sighs. "Hi Pippa, you're here?"

"Of course I'm here, I'm Eddie's girlfriend, you know that."

"Why aren't you on stage with him?"

"I was on the phone, you know, talking."

Loren gets the jacket of the hanger and sits on the sofa, she gets her kit out of the bag she's carrying and finds a hole on the sleeve, and begins to repair it, she notices Pippa on the phone again and this time she takes a few steps further from where Loren is working, an hour later, Loren is done and Pippa is still on the phone laughing and behaving very secretive.

Loren heads out and walks towards the stage where Eddie is talking to his father, she looks back towards the dressing room and she can see Pippa on the phone, she furrows her eyes and walks out of the Avalon.

She meets Mel for lunch. "Thought you'd never get here girl."

"I had to go to the Avalon to fix Eddie's jacket."

"You went?"

"Why are you shocked?" Loren wonders.

"No I'm not, if Sally asked you that means you're ready."

"Mel, I picked up on it real fast in school, did I tell you I'm at the top of my class."

"I know, I don't doubt it, so what did Eddie say?"

"Not much, very handsome as usual, plus Pippa was there."

"She's everywhere with him, they've been dating over a year."

"Don't remind me, we saw them together at prom, remember?" Loren asks.

"I think Eddie is serious with this one, he dumped Chloe and hasn't looked back."

"I don't know, she was acting too weird today, you know if I was dating Eddie, I'd be by his side, wouldn't leave him alone, but this girl was in his dressing room on the phone, when I walked in I think I startled her, she was on the phone while I was there, I don't trust her."

"Do you think she's cheating on him?" Mel wonders.

"I don't know Mel, I mean she's nicer than Chloe ever was, but, something about her."

Mel sighs. "Girl, you're over thinking this, why would she cheat on him? He's Eddie Duran."

"Something about her, I don't know, maybe it's me wanting her to do so and then he'd realize it's me he belongs with."

"Wishful thinking are we?" Mel wonders.

"Maybe you're right, I have to stop this, he will never see me the way he looks at Pippa, she's beautiful, she's an inspiring artist who'll look great next to him." Loren says.

"She is and I heard she's opening for him next week at the Avalon."

They walk into the café. "Come on let's eat, my treat." Loren adds.

Lisa and Nora are on their way out. "Hi honey, why didn't you tell me you were coming here."

Mel smiles. "I don't know where you eat Lisa." She looks at Nora. "Hi aunt Nora."

"Hi sweetheart." She looks at Loren. "Hi Loren, how are you?"

"I'm good, great to see you Ms. Nora."

Lisa holds Nora's arm and they walk out. "See you girls later."

They walk out and Nora looks at Lisa. "Why can't you let me talk to my own daughter?"

"She doesn't know you exist, Trent told her you died in a car accident."

"Why would he tell her that? This wasn't my fault, I left everything behind when I fell in love with Trent, I didn't care about Dad's millions."

"I know Nora, but you know how dad was, he was a prideful man who couldn't stand the idea of you and the Duran's butler married."

"We're still married, we never divorced." Nora begins to cry. "I lost so many years without my daughter."

"You had no choice Nora, Dad was going to give Loren up for adoption unless you left with him."

"Don't remind me, she's so close and yet so far, I can't tell her she's my daughter, she has a right to know who I am, I have to talk to her."

"You can't tell her Nora! What would Trent do?"

"You're wrong Lisa, I know he's still the amazing kind man I fell in love with, I can tell Loren is an amazing young lady."

Lisa sighs. "Yes she is, she and Mel are besties, she reminds me of you."

"And she looks like our mom, she's so beautiful." Nora adds.

They get into Lisa's car. "She has to know the truth Lisa, I can't go on knowing my daughter is so close and I can't be there for her, I lost so much time already, I have to talk to Trent."

"Has Trent seen you?" Lisa wonders.

"No, he's always busy with the Duran's, I dare not go and see Katie, maybe she and I can meet to talk, I don't know how Trent will react, I miss him too."

"You've went back to Paris to get your things shipped here, you've been here for several months now, are sure you're staying in the area permanently?" Lisa asks.

Nora sighs. "Yes, I leased a Condo in L.A, and spoke to my boss, I will be working remotely from home, I have to figure out a way to see Trent and figure out how to get Loren back in my life."

A few weeks later,

Pippa was a success opening for Eddie, he's getting ready to head to New York and Pippa will be going too. They'll tour several cities in the Eastern coast. Loren's at Max's office getting Eddie's wardrobe ready. Max along with Jake manage Eddie's career, he rehearses in the back of the office and there's also a recording studio.

"Loren you're doing a great job; can you check Pippa's too?" Max asks.

"Are you sure she wears something? Have you seen how thin she is?" Loren smirks.

"I know, just run through her things, she's in the back."

"I'll take care of it Max, no worries." Loren walks towards the back; she notices the back door is slightly opened.

("Hmmm, where is this woman? Eddie's been recording all morning, I didn't even know she was here, maybe she's outside, let me check, why would she leave the door ajar? I hear noises and giggles coming from the corner close to the dumpster, what the heck is she doing out here?)

Loren takes a few steps towards the dumpsters and suddenly stops. ("What the heck! She's kissing Eddie's friend Ty; why would she cheat on him? OMG! What do I do now? Should I slap her?")

Loren steps on something and Pippa and Tyler turn towards the noise. "What are you doing here?"

"I should ask you the same thing! I was looking for you; I'm supposed to make sure your wardrobe is ready for the tour."

"It's fine, go back and finish whatever Eddie might need?"

"What if Eddie would have seen you?" Loren questions, Pippa can tell she's upset. "None of your business Loren, go and get things ready and shut up, I'll deny everything, there's no way Eddie would believe you."

Loren looks at Tyler. "You're betraying your friend Ty."

Tyler smiles. "It's all good, we share." Tyler responds with a smirk on his face. He looks at Pippa. "Come on, let's get out of here, I told you this wasn't a safe place for us."

They head towards Tyler's car, Loren walks back into the office, she heads towards the front, Eddie appears with a smile.

"Hey girl, I'm finally done, I'm so tired, did you see Pippa?"

Loren sighs, she's upset, and wonders, now what, he looks at her. "Everything ok girl?"
