A/N

To my loyal followers and new readers. And new favorites to some other fans. I thank you so much for being so patient with me. This chapter was by far the hardest to write not for the chapter itself but the duel. The amount of strategy and cards used is hard to write out with all of its effects. But I hope you love this duel as much as I did and know it's my longest chapter to date—clocking 18500 words, not including the author's note.

As the three wizards sat in their seats behind Harry's parents, Ron sat shaking slightly, his hand clenching while his left arm lifted his duel disk. Looking to the dueling apparatus, his eyes closed slightly at the realization that Kaiba was right. From this moment forward, he would no longer rely on others to help him while he can help himself. "Hermione, when we leave, I want you to help me by writing up a study schedule for the rest of the winter break," Ron said with conviction in his voice. No more would he cause pain and harm to others.

"Of course, Ron, it's not a problem," Hermione said, placing her hand upon Ron's clenched fist to attempt to calm his guilt and shame.

"Thank you." He stated, looking towards Harry. "Harry, I want you to stop holding yourself back." He said, shaking his head as Harry opened his mouth to comment but ceased talking by his first friend's words. "Harry, I know you have been holding yourself back for my benefit, please, if you are my friend. Then don't; you are an incredible wizard. You have seen things, fought things, and survived situations most grown wizards could never understand." Ron said a tone of sadness in his words. "Please stop holding yourself back for me," Ron said, turning his eyes to the battle field his voice going silent as a grave.

"Alright, Ron, I promise." Harry proclaimed, reaching out to rest his hand upon his friend's shoulder. "But until then, let's watch this final duel," Harry said, a soft smile on his face knowing how much Ron loved a competitive game.

"My Muto, the referee, and the Dueling committee need to inspect your duel disk." The man stated, approaching the stout ruler, which caught him off guard.

"Wha- what? You have never needed to inspect my disk before?" Yugi asked as the man approached, lifting the blade to look upon it, a frown upon his lips.

"Yes, there is a new rule being enforced during this match for after the tournament has concluded, so we shall be displaying it during the finals." He said, unlocking the duel disk from Yugi's arm. "Here is the newest model." He said, handing him a clean duel disk; the device was pristine, with no scuffs or scratches like his older model had. "It has a program uploaded for the new rule, do not fret." The committee member stated, turning to leave the King of Games.

"I see the Committee member and referee have replaced your duel disk, well," Kaiba said, a slight smirk upon his face as if he knew it was to happen.

"What's going on, Kaiba," Yugi asked, his eyes narrowing suspiciously at his rival.

"Don't worry. It's nothing bad, just an update to the duel disk and the game." Kaiba said, smiling. "I'll see you in twenty minutes, so get your deck ready." He said, turning and leaving the sky box. Ryou watching the whole event raised his brow curiosity; it was rare for Kaiba to be pleasant. Even rarer for him to be kind, this was both.

"Something doesn't bode well with this situation," Ryou said, approaching Yugi to look upon the disk. His eyes widened once he noticed a pair of strange slots positioned in between monster zone one and two and four and five with a bracket that would push them outwards before the blade. "I don't know what Kaiba has planned, but I hope you're ready for him. He is gunning for you this tournament. Many defeats by you; I think he is sick of being defeated by you. He will pull out every powerful combo his deck can produce. So be careful Yugi, cause after this we go after Voldemort." Ryou said, his gaze hardening at the actual battle that laid ahead of them.

"Yes, you're Right Ryou, after this, we shall truly be at war with Voldemort, and we shall have to use every spell, trap, monster, and power we possess. Wizarding or Millennium wielding to defeat him and return our friends to us." Yugi said the glowing puzzle signaling that Yami was usurped in control. "Are you Ready, Yugi?" Yami said to the transparent spirit of his aibou while he stood beside the ancient ruler. "I'm ready now. Let's finish this." Yugi noted a tone of ferocity in his voice he rarely heard from his pure-hearted partner. "Yes, let's finish this," Yami said, taking complete control seeing Yugi vanished into the chambers of the puzzle. Clipping his coat upon his neck and shoulders like a cloak, he turned and left the sky box, heading down to the dueling arena.

"Ooookkkk Dueling fan. You've watched, you've waited, and now here it is—the finals of the world championships. YUGI MUTO VERSUS SETO KAIBA." The announcer declared while the two spoken duelists approached the dueling field. Kaiba's long white coat was billowing out behind him, his hand reaching within his coat to pull out his deck, shuffling it before Yugi. "Now, as a bonus, we will be using Kaiba's Battle City tournament life point count. So these two seasoned veterans of the game will be starting this duel not with eight thousand as we have all become accustomed to, but four thousand life points which will make it easier to defeat your opponent." The referee stated that watching both Kaiba and Yugi's duel counters drop from their regular eight thousand lives points down to four thousand.

"You, ready to lose Yugi?" Kaiba asked, a smug smile upon his face as his archrival did the same shuffling his deck. Each duelist handing over their respective decks to be cut by their opponents.

"We shall see you've been saying that for years Kaiba," Yami stated confidently, catching Kaiba's jaw clench in anger at his multiple losses to Yugi.

"Alright, duel fans, let's start this off with the customary coin toss." The announcer declared as a massive coin appeared. "I call heads," Kaiba said as the coin was launched in the air, flipping and clattering upon the ground. The eyes of Wudjat appearing, which represented heads, showed upon the screens above the fans.

"I'll start this duel off with my Cards of Consonance. This card allows me to discard the White Stone of Ancients (0/0) from my hand to the grave to draw two additional cards from my deck." Kaiba said, slipping the spell into his disk and discarding the monster to his graveyard, dropping his hand to three. His fingers were plucking an additional two cards giving him five once more. "Next, I activate Dragon Shrine. This card lets me send one dragon-type monster from my deck to my graveyard. Then if that dragon is a normal monster, I get to send another dragon-type monster from my deck to the graveyard." Kaiba informed Yami, his hand pulling his deck and fanning it out. His cold blue-eyes looked over his card while his fingers plucked a card from the stack, flipping it to reveal a normal dragon. "First, I'll send Luster Dragon #2 (2400/1400) to the graveyard. Then since it's a normal monster, I'll send the White Stone of Legend to my graveyard." Kaiba said, plucking another monster revealing the effect monster slipping them both into the grave. "Now, thanks to the effect of my White Stone of Legends. Since it was sent to my graveyard, I can then add a Blue-Eyes White Dragon from my deck to my hand." Kaiba said, pulling the card from his deck, adding it to his hand, giving him five cards.

"Impressive, it's your first turn, and you've already managed to add a Blue-Eyes White Dragon to your hands," Yami said, praising his rival's skill at manipulating his deck to give him exactly what he needed.

"Incredible folks." The announcer stated, causing Yami and Kaiba to jump ever so slightly at the sound of his excited voice blasting through the media system. "Kaiba has managed to not only raise his hand count but gather to his hand his most trusted monster. The Blue-Eyes White Dragon." He said a tone of excitement in his voice.

"Well, that's just the beginning, Yugi. If you are impressed by that, then you are going to blow away by the next turn. Next, I activate trade In I discard the Blue-Eyes White Dragon in my hand." Kaiba said, slipping the spell into his disk, pulling out the cards of Consonance, and slipping it into his grave. His hand pulled the previously added Blue-Eyes and slipped it into the grave, and dropped his hand to three cards once again. "And draw two more cards from my deck." He said, pulling two cards raising his hand to five. "Now I summon Kaiba Man," Kaiba said as he placed the monster onto the field. A young man resembling Kaiba appeared upon the field wearing the same long white trench coat with a strange Blue-Eyes helmet upon his head (200/700).

"Kaiba Man?!" Yami proclaimed, staring upon the creature with a look of confusion and shock.

"Are you stunned by how handsome this monster is?" Kaiba said while Yami stared, not knowing what to say. "Or are you left speechless by Kaiba Man's awesome sense of style," Kaiba said. At the same time, his counterpart lifted his hand, popping the pointed collar of his trench coat, causing Yami to sweat drop in embarrassment at his opponent's monster's action.

"You have got to be kidding me?" Hermione said with a roll of her brown eyes. "How conceited is he to have a card made and designed to look like him." She scoffed at the ridiculousness of this card's actions resembling Kaiba's confidence and pompous attitude.

"I think it's awesome; it gives him a sense of style. Not only that, but Kaiba is known to use powerful cards, and to see him use a monster with such a low attack strength shows he has grown as a duelist since Yugi met him all those years ago." Harry said, his eyes darting towards Hermione. "He mentioned to me once that Kaiba hated weak cards. He never kept monsters in his deck with an attack strength less than sixteen hundred." Harry informed her, his emerald gaze returning to the battle.

"I don't think that's it," Yami said while Yugi appeared in spirit form, staring at the creature, his spirit-hand slapping his forehead in surprise. "He can't be serious." Yugi thought, which caused Yami to smirk ever so slightly.

"Well, get your last look in because he's not staying on the field for long. I tribute Kaiba Man to summon a Blue-Eyes White Dragon from my hand." Kaiba declared, slipping his doppelganger monster from the field to the grave. His fingers pulled said monster from his hand, slapping it upon the dueling field; a beam of light-filled Kaiba's field as the famous roar of Kaiba's most faithful dragon appeared roaring at the King of Games (3000/2500).

Yami's eyes widened at the realization that Kaiba had drawn a second Blue-Eyes with his Trade-In spell card. "Ohh no! It's only your first turn, and you already have a Blue-Eyes on your field." He said, taking a half step back.

"That's right, Yugi, and if one Blue-Eyes White Dragon worries you. Then what chance do you have against two? I activate Silver's Cry; this card allows me to special summon my Blue-Eyes back from the graveyard." Kaiba said, slipping the spell into his disk, dropping his hand down to two cards. Another roar resonated while he pulled the second Blue-Eyes from the grave, placing it upon the field (3000/2500) x2. "Take flight my second Blue-Eyes White Dragon." Kaiba proclaimed while the second shot dragon shot up from the beam of light flapping and landing besides its fellow Blue-Eyes.

"Two Blue-Eyes White Dragons!" Yami stated, his lilac eyes wide in shock.

"And I'm not finished Yugi; I set on the card face down and enter my end phase," Kaiba said, his hand reduced to one card. "In my end phase, the White Stone of Ancients effect activates. Since I discarded it earlier in my turn, I can special summon my third Blue-Eyes White Dragon from my deck." Kaiba stated, his hand pulling the stack out, fanning it, and pulling out his third beast of destruction. His hand was shuffling the stack and slipping it back into his deck slot. He pulled the previously added monster placing it upon his monster zone; another beam of light shot up as a third roar was heard resonating around the duelists while the dragon flapped its enormous wings, landing beside the other two Blue-Eyes White Dragons (3000/2500)x3.

Yami took a step back, his eyes wide as a tremor of fear ran up his spine while flashbacks of Battle City and the first time they dueled all those years ago came to the forefront of his mind. "All three Blue-Eyes White Dragons!" Yami declared, staring in awe at the combo Kaiba had just pulled off in her first turn.

"Is this familiar Yugi, the sight of my three Blue-Eyes White Dragons staring you down? It's been too long, but now I have you right where I want you. It's your move." Kaiba said with a smirk.

"Is that good, son?" Vernon Dursley asked his pudgy blonde-haired son. He had no idea what was going on or why everyone was getting so excited about a competition coming to London. But when Dudley pleaded and begged to come saying it's the most important competition of the year, well, he went and got them tickets. When he had first arrived there with Petunia and Dudley, he was a bit annoyed. They didn't seem normal in his eyes; all these strange people from different lands were clambering to their seats to watch eight young people place pieces of cardboard upon a table. But when he saw the first match and the explosion of lights, sounds, and the clanging of weaponry and battle cries. He now understood the excitement over the game. Though Vernon knew nothing of the gameplay or the monsters, even he could appreciate the awe and reverence that the three white dragons demanded as they stood upon the battlefield, ready to blast that spikey-headed short stack to smithereens.

"Yeah, dad, this is a common move for Kaiba to swarm his field with his Blue-Eyes White dragons," Dudley informed his ill-informed father. While his father watched the battle continued to unfold in front of the thousands, a tremor of fear ran up his spine in the realization that if Kaiba lost or Yugi lost, he would have to duel against one of them. Reaching down his pudgy fingers pulling out his dueling deck, fanning it out with a gulp, his deck was not as strong as he proclaimed it to be. His strongest monster was a weak twenty-two hundred attack. He knew his deck ran virus cards like Kaiba, but Kaiba's skill in the virus arch-type was far superior to his skill.

"I'm shocked that the Pharaoh gave you Ra to wield," Malik stated, his fingers stroking the most powerful Egyptian God so reverently. His eyes looked at the enormous stacks of cards that the Death Eaters had gathered for their duelists and mind-controlled servants.

"How did you escape the Shadow Realm?" Marik asked, his eyes narrowing towards his dark mental trauma. He couldn't do much without his wand or Rod to fight back.

"Well, my foolish host, when the Oricalcos was released the first time. It weakened the barrier between the realm of Monsters and Humans and also weakened the shackles that held me into my hell-like prison." Malik stated, his lips forming a sadistic smile. "I may not have a physical form as of right now, but with this," Malik said, lifting the Millennium Rod into his hand. The shadow-like fingers began to solidify and grow firm while pointing the Rod at Marik. The Eye on the head of the rod glowed bright gold causing Malik's eyes to dull. "I now have the power I need to fight and finish what we started during Kaiba's tournament." He said, laughing; the audience could hear his confident laughter could be heard throughout the manor. A couple of the resident Death Eaters shuddered at the sound, reminding them of their Dark Lord.

"He's not holding anything back," Yugi said through the link. "No, Yugi, he isn't. This duel will be difficult." Yami thought through their mind link his hand pulled a card. "Hmm, first I draw," Yami said, adding the sixth card to his hand. "I activate my Pot of Greed." Yami declared, playing the infamous drawing pot his, hand dropping by one while he plucked two cards, giving his hand a count of seven. "I've drawn Watapon, and thanks to drawing him with an effect, I can now special summon him. So come forth." Yami said, immediately playing the monster. A white ball of fur with two large blue eyes and a thin bug-like antenna appearing upon the field (200/300). "But like your Kaiba Man, it won't be staying on the field for long. I tribute it to summon the Dark Magician Girl." Yami said, slipping the monster from the blade to his grave. Suddenly pink heart-like bubbles appeared and popped, and the stunning buxom blond female magician appeared in her blue and pink armor-like garments spinning her magic staff. Her hand was coming to her lips to blow a few lucky fans a kiss or two while she giggled adorably (2000/1700).

"I feel bad for her; she's no match for my dragons," Kaiba said confidently.

"Then it's time to enlist some help; I activate Sages Stone. Since Dark Magician Girl is face-up on my field, this card allows me to call forth her master the Dark Magician from my deck." Yami exclaimed, pulling out his deck, fanning it, and extracting the card. His hands were shuffling his deck, quickly re-slotting it. "Come forth, my Dark Magician," Yami said as his infamous purple-clad magician appeared, spinning its teal-colored staff before himself (2500/2100).

"You think your Dark Magician will save you," Kaiba said with a cocky smirk.

"Perhaps not alone, but with Dark Magician Girl on my field beside him. I have everything I need. I set a card face down." Yami said, slipping the card face down, giving him a hand count of three. "Now I activate the spell card Dark burning Magic."

"Dark Burning Magic!" Kaiba exclaimed, his eyes widened in shock at the spell card with the same name as Dark Magician Girls signature attack.

"I can only use this card when Dark Magician and Dark Magician girl are on the field. But since they are, my Dark Burning Magic destroys all cards on your field." Yami informed Kaiba with a smirk on his face.

"No way!" Kaiba yelled in shock and rage. His anger flared at the thought of losing his three dragons destroyed by a simple spell while the two magicians began to gather their combined magic together into a massive sphere of magical lightning.

"You're finished; my Dark Burning Magic will annihilate every single card on your field," Yami said as the ball of magical lightning struck Kaiba's field, the three dragons crying out as they shattered.

"This can't be happening!" Kaiba snarled, his fingers slipping the three dragons and his face down card into the graveyard.

"I'm disappointed Kaiba, you thoughtlessly filled your field with everything you could amass, making you vulnerable to my Dark burning Magic spell card. And now you're left with nothing to defend your life points from a direct attack from my magicians. Dark Magician and Dark Magician Girl attack Kaiba's life points directly and end this duel." Yami declared.

The stands were shocked; not only had it ended so fast, but Kaiba had made a significant dueling error. Why would he risk it with such a low-life point handicap? "This isn't over," Ron said, observing. His gaze narrowed at the sight of the field; his analytical mind was going over a multitude of strategies that Kaiba to pull off to save himself.

"What do you mean Ron, Kaiba has no cards on the field to protect himself. He finished without any monsters and trap cards." Hermione exclaimed, somewhat shocked by her ginger-haired friend declaration.

"Kaiba wouldn't do that unless he had a plan; just watch," Ron stated, jerking his head towards Kaiba. His face showed no sign of fear or loss, but a stoic look showed on the young billionaire's face.

"Double Dark Magic attack," Yami announced while his two magicians lifted their staffs gathering the magical energy and shooting it towards Kaiba, causing him to step back.

"You didn't think I would go down that easily, did you? I always have a backup plan, I will have my revenge Yugi and my comeback begins with this card." Kaiba said, flipping the last card in his hand discarding it to the graveyard. "When I have no other cards on the field or in my hand. I can discard Goddess of Sweet Revenge to destroy all cards on your field." Kaiba said as a sphere of crackling energy shot out above Kaiba striking Yugi's field, causing Dark Magician and Dark Magician Girl to cry out and shattered with the one face down.

"Oh No!" Yami yelled; his eyes widened in shock at the monster's power while a single-hand trap monster blasted his field.

"Both of your magicians are destroyed as well as your face down card." Kaiba stated smugly. "Next, my Goddess of Sweet Revenge lets me special summon any monster from my deck. I special summon Deep-Eyes White Dragon." Kaiba said his deck glowed, pushing the card out, plucking it, and slapping the monster upon his field. A portal appearing above Kaiba appeared as a dragon that resembled Blue-Eyes appeared though thinner. In between, its four wings was a ring-like portal that glowed a soft sky blue. (0/0) "If I summon Deep-Eyes White Dragon, it takes on the attack strength of any dragon in my graveyard, and since my Blue-Eyes, White Dragon is in my graveyard. My Deep-Eyes White Dragon has three thousand attack points." Kaiba said as Deep-Eyes glowed, its points suddenly rising. (0/0+3000/0=3000/0) "Revenge is so sweet, isn't it, now your field is empty, and I have the strongest monster on the field once more."

"My field may be empty at the moment, but it won't be for long when you used the effect of your Goddess of Sweet Revenge. You destroyed my Chaos Scepter blast." Yami informed Kaiba.

"So?" Kaiba stated with a roll of his eyes.

"That means my Chaos Scepter Blasts effect activates if it's destroyed, I can special summon a Dark Magician of Chaos from my deck," Yami said, a slight smirk tugging upon his lips. At the same time, he caught Kaiba's eyes widen ever so slightly. "Now come forth Dark Magician of Chaos," Yami announced. A chaotic energy portal appeared upon the field while the magician leaped out, landing upon the field. His garments resembled Magician of Black Chaos, but the leather he wore was bluish-black instead of solid black its head-dress also pointed downwards instead of upwards (2800/2600). "My Dark Magician of Chaos has twenty-eight hundred attack points and an incredible effect. When it's summoned, I can return any spell card from my graveyard to my hand. I'll add Pot of Greed to my hand." Yami said, slipping the spell into his hand, giving him a hand of three.

"Your Dark Magician of Chaos is still no match for my dragon," Kaiba yelled in anger, his arm sweeping out before him to his side.

"Next, I'll activate Pot of Greed again to draw two cards," Yami said, pulling two cards giving him four. "I'll set one card face down and end my turn," Yami said, slipping the card behind his Dark Magician of Chaos; his lilac eyes looked down to his hand of three and then upon Kaiba's field staring upon the three thousand attack dragon. His gaze lifted to Kaiba's empty hand. "He will need to top deck this turn." Yami thought to Yugi as he appeared beside him, nodding his head.

"Incredible Yugi may have the weaker monster on the field, but his face down gives him the upper hand. If Kaiba doesn't pull a miracle draw, Yugi could be taking home the title again." The announcer stated while the crowd turned their gaze towards Kaiba. All eyes that were in the stadium focused upon the sharp eyes Blue-Eyes Duelist awaiting his next turn.

"It's my turn, I draw," Kaiba stated, pulling a single card to his hand. The cold blue-eyes looked upon the card while he smiled. "Perfect, I activate my Card of Demise. Now I draw till I have five cards in my hand, but that's not all; after five turns, I must discard my entire hand." He said, sliding the spell to the grave, his hand pulling a hand of five cards. "But there's no way this duel will last that long, Yugi," Kaiba said, chuckling, his fingers fanning out his fresh hand. "I'll have defeated you long before that happens."

"We'll see about that," Yami stated confidently, his lips twitching to a soft smirk.

"Next, I activate the effect of the White Stone of Ancients in my graveyard. By banishing it from my graveyard, I get to add a Blue-Eyes from my grave to my hand." Kaiba stated, sliding said monster into his coat pocket while his fingers pulled the famous dragon, giving him six cards to his hand. "Now I reveal the Blue-Eyes White Dragon in my hand, to special summon my Blue-Eyes Alternative White Dragon!" Kaiba said, pulling the card and slapping it up on the field. "I can special summon my Alternative White Dragon by simply revealing a Blue-Eyes, and also my new dragon has an effect as well." He stated as the dragon appeared nearly identical to Blue-Eyes White Dragon but with minor differences in its scales and shape of its wings. (3000/2500) "Now, to activate its effect, once a turn, I can target a monster on my opponent's field and destroy it," Kaiba said while Blue-Eyes Alternative glowed, bolts of white energy shot out from the tips of its wings.

"Not so fast, Kaiba, when you target a spell caster on my field with an effect, I get to special summon my Palladium Oracle Mana from my hand to the field," Yami said, placing the card on his field, his hand dropping to two cards. While a female magician resembling Dark Magician Girl but in Egyptian garbs appeared spinning her staff. (2000/1700) "As long as Palladium Oracle Mana is on my field, my level seven or higher spell casters can't be destroyed by card effects. That means my Dark Magician of Chaos is perfectly Safe."

"For now, but I'm not finished, I summon the King of Dragons," Kaiba said, playing the monster upon his disk. The creature resembled Lord of D., his hands holding what a three-headed electric guitar was. Each head had a Blue-Eyes head where the turnkeys were. (1200/1100) "Meet another new addition to my deck; not only does he take on the name of Lord of D. but he also has a special effect that is better than his original counterpart," Kaiba said with a smirk. "When it's normal summoned, I can discard a spell or trap card to add one of three spell cards to my hand. I'll discard a spell card to add Dragon Revival Rhapsody to my hand." Kaiba announced, flipping the discarded card revealing a spell. His deck was pushing out the selected card while adding it to his hand, bringing his hand back to four cards. "Now I activate Dragon Revival Rhapsody. I can only activate this spell card while I control a spell caster-type monster. But as luck would have it, King of Dragons is a spell-caster monster. This card allows me to special summon two dragons from my graveyard as long as at least one of them is a normal monster." Kaiba informed Yami. His Archrival's eyes widened at the realization that Kaiba would have five monsters. "I'll special summon two Blue-Eyes White Dragons back to the field." He said his field filled with four powerful dragons roaring at Yami, causing his hair to whip around his face. "Now it's time to battle Deep-Eyes White attack and destroy Yugi's Dark Magician of Chaos." Kaiba declared, pointing his hand towards the powerful mage.

"I activate my trap card, go, Mirror Force," Yami announced; the radiant barrier appeared around his two magicians while Yami confidently folded his arms before Kaiba. "Your monster's attack is reflected at you; now all of your monsters in attack mode are destroyed." He said, smirking.

"Not so fast, Yugi. I guess you didn't see the card I discarded when I activated the King of Dragons effect, did you. The card I discarded was Return of the Dragon Lords, and this card has a special effect that I can activate from the graveyard anytime one or more of my dragons would be destroyed by battle or card effect. I can banish Return of the Dragon Lords from my Grave to protect them; I'll use its effect to protect all of the dragons on my field." Kaiba said, pulling the spell out of his grave and slipping it into his pocket. "Since the King of Dragons isn't a dragon, it's destroyed by your Mirror Force, but the rest of my monsters are spared from the destructive effect of your trap," Kaiba stated as the reflected attack struck King of Dragons, destroying him. Kaiba reached down, pulling the monster off the field slipping it into his grave slot. "Now, Deep-Eyes White Dragon, continue your attack." Kaiba declared, pointing his finger towards Yugi's monster. "Luckily for you. You won't take any damage, for on the turn I activate Dragon Revival Rhapsody, my opponent doesn't take any battle damage that turn. But that doesn't mean your monsters are safe." Kaiba stated as the attack struck Dark Magician of chaos, causing him to cry out in pain shattering.

"When my Dark Magician of Chaos leaves the field, it's banished from the game," Yugi said, a hint of loss in his voice while slipping the card into the pocket of his school jacket.

"Now Blue-Eyes White Dragon attack Palladium Oracle Mana White Lightning attack." he declared. At the same time, Blue-Eyes reared its head back, gathering the powerful electric blue lightning and blasted the sphere of crackling power towards the Egyptian garbed woman, causing her to cry out and shatter. "Your Oracle Palladium Mana is destroyed," Kaiba said, a hint of annoyance in his tone.

"That mean's her effect activates, if she is destroyed by battle or by a card effect. I can then special summon Dark Magician Girl from my hand, deck, or graveyard." Yami announced, pulling her from his grave slot placing her back upon the field. The familiar pink hearts appeared and popped, signaling the summoning of the buxom blond apprentice spell caster. When she landed upon the field, she pulled her staff in front of her, symbolizing she was in defense mode. Her hand lifting up while she blew another couple of kisses to a few lucky fans and then blew a raspberry towards Kaiba (2000/1700).

"It makes no difference my second Blue-Eyes still hasn't attacked. White Lightning!" Kaiba said his final dragon was releasing its signature attack of crackling white lightning attack causing her to cry out and shatter. "Your Dark Magician Girl is destroyed; you have nothing left on your field. I end my turn by setting two cards face down." He said, pulling the two cards and slipping them into the slots behind his dragons, his hand dropping back to one.

"I draw," Yami said, pulling the third card, his lilac gaze falling upon the card he drew. "I activate my Dark Magic Veil. I can then special summon a dark spell caster from my hand or graveyard by giving up a thousand life points. So return to my field Dark Magician." Yami proclaimed as his points took a slight drop, a purple light erupted on his dueling field. A second later, his most famous magician appeared, looking pissed. His gaze was narrowing at Kaiba and his Blue-Eyes White Dragons while he spun the teal green staff in anger, ready for battle while his face showed his anger at being sent to the graveyard so many times during the duel (2500/2100).

Yugi: 3000

"Next, I'll activate the spell card Bond between Teacher and Student. Now that the teacher is on the field, his student will follow. Since I control the Dark Magician, this card lets me special summon the Dark Magician Girl from my graveyard." Yami said, returning his female magician to the field (2000/1700). As Dark Magician Girl appeared next to her Master, her hand reached up, tugging her eyelid down, sticking out her tongue towards Kaiba with a look of annoyance upon her face. Then I get to set a spell card, and I choose Dark Burning Attack." Yami said his deck pushing the chosen card out while he grasped it and put it immediately behind Dark Magician Girl. "But it's not staying face down for long since the Dark Magician Girl is face-up on my field; I can activate it. I play my Dark Burning attack." Yami said, flipping the spell while Dark Magician Girl gathered the magic into the swirl headpiece upon her magic staff and shot it into the air as pink beams began to rain down, striking all four of Kaiba's dragons. "Now, when Dark Burning Attack is used while I have a Dark Magician Girl out, it destroys all of your face-up monsters on the field." He said smugly, seeing Kaiba's eyes widened in shock as his field was once again wiped out.

"All of them!" he said, seeing his four majestic dragons cry out and shatter, his hand scooping up the four dragons with a growl and slipped them into his graveyard slot.

"That's right; you have no monsters on the field to defend you," Yami said, looking at Kaiba seeing his rival smirk ever so slightly.

"That may be Yugi, but when a card effect destroys Deep-Eyes White Dragon, you activated its other effect," Kaiba informed Yami seeing his gaze widen in shock.

"Deep-Eyes White Dragon has another effect?" he asked in shock.

"That's right when a card effect destroys it, all monsters on my opponent's field are immediately destroyed." He said his tone was condescending and quite ironic, seeing as the previous turn Yugi had done the same to him.

"OH NO!" Yami said as Deep Eyes cried out, blasting two beams that struck both of the Magicians once more, sending them back to the graveyard.

"Oh, Yes. Bid farewell to your magicians again." Kaiba stated, laughing confidently, similar to how he sounded like during Battle City.

"My Dark Magician and Dark Magician Girl may be gone, but my turn is just beginning; I play Card of Sanctity," Yami said, his hand reaching for his deck. "Now we both draw till we're holding six cards in our hands," Yami said, pulling the first card, his eyes looking to the card as he chuckled.

"I've drawn Palladium Oracle Mahad; when I draw him to my hand, I can special summon him to the field by simply revealing him." He said, flipping the card to show it to Kaiba. "Now come to me, Mahad." Yami declared as the ground shook and cracked open; another Egyptian garbed man appeared resembling the Dark Magician. Its chest had what resembled the Millennium Ring upon his white cotton robes. His hand was gripping a long golden scepter in his right hand (2500/2100). Yami's eyes looked upon the monster as a voice sounded in his head while Mahad turned his face towards Yami.

"My King, I have traveled five thousand years through time and space to serve you faithfully in this battle. I shall not fail you again." He said through their mental link. Yami's eyes widened as Yugi spoke through the link, referring to his failure at helping him to defeat the ultimate evil while he reigned as Pharoah.

"Yami, who is that?" Yugi thought as Yami held back a tear of gratitude and joy at the sight of one of his most ardent allies.

"An ancient friend," Yami stated through the link, his fingers resting upon his deck to draw.

Yami's fingers drew another five cards to meet Card of Sanctity's effect, while Kaiba pulled five, giving him six. "Next, I activate a ritual spell card, Chaos Form. By banishing the level seven Dark Magician (2500/2100) from my graveyard. I can ritual summon an even more powerful spell caster. I banish my Dark Magician to call forth my ritual monster Magician of Chaos." Yami said, slipping the spell into his disk. His fingers were pulling out his Dark Magician, slipping it into his pocket while he played the ritual monster in attack mode. Before the ritual alters, the creature that appeared similar to the Dark Magician and the Magician of Black Chaos; had dark blue and black armor and cloth garments. But it had four large blue-black shoulder spike-like armor pointing sideways upon its shoulders and a significant armor spike behind its familiar headdress. Its scepter seemed to resemble a fusion of the Dark magicians and Magician of Black Chaos Scepter but with arcane symbols rotating around the glowing gemstone (2500/2100).

"Next, I play Upstart Goblin. This card grants you one thousand life points but allows me to draw an additional card. But before that, I'll chain my spell with my Magician of Chaos. Once per turn, if a spell, trap, or effect is activated, the magician of Chaos is on the field. I can then target one card on the field and destroy it, now Magician of Chaos attack Kaiba's face-down card on the left." Yami said, pointing to the card.

"You've targeted my Ring of Destruction; I chain it to the effect of your Magician of Chaos and target your Magician. My Ring of Destruction will destroy your magician, and when it does, we'll both take damage equal to your magician's attack points. That means we each lose twenty-five hundred life points."

"Don't be so sure of that, Kaiba. I activate the effect of my Palladium Oracle Mana in my graveyard." Yami declared, catching Kaiba off guard.

"Palladium Oracle Mana has an effect while it's in the graveyard?" Kaiba asked, his blue eyes widening in shock.

"Since you targeted a spell caster monster on my field, I can special summon my Palladium Oracle Mana from my graveyard. Return to my field." Yami announced while his fingers plucked the card from the grave, placing it back upon the monster zone. (2000/1700) the familiar female magician appears spinning her magic staff, her eyes looking towards Kaiba with an annoyed glare.

"Oh no," Kaiba yelled as he took a half step back.

"Now that she is on my field, level seven or higher spell casters can't be destroyed by card effects, which means my Magician of Chaos is immune to your Ring of Destruction. You know what that means, Kaiba, now my magician and my life points are perfectly safe. Now that that's taken care of, my Upstart Goblin can finally resolve. I'll increase your life points by one thousand to draw a card from my deck." Yami said, pulling a third card to his hand, while Kaiba's life points rose by an additional one thousand.

Kaiba: 5000

"It's over Kaiba; even though you have five thousand life points, my magicians have a combined attack strength of seven thousand. Mana, Mahad, and Magician of Chaos attack Kaiba Directly and end this duel!" Yami declared his three powerful mages lifting their scepters and staff, gathering magical energy to blast their power at Kaiba. Kaiba took a step back; his eyes widened as a façade look of fear upon his ordinarily stoic features.

"Normally, that would end the duel if it wasn't for my face down card. I activate my face down card, go Negate the attack, and just as the card states, it negates your attack and immediately ends your battle phase." Kaiba informed Yami, the vortex opening before him to absorb the attack.

"Well done, Kaiba, you've bought yourself another turn," Yami stated, a look of annoyance on his face that his attack was stopped. "What are we going to do? He just stopped our triple Dark Magic attack." Yugi said through their mental link. "Don't worry Yugi, this duel is far from finished; I believe Kaiba has a lot more in store for us." Yami thought.

"Incredible, Kaiba has managed to not only hold his own with a field without monsters, but he put Yugi's game-changing move to a complete halt." The announcer declared cheerfully while the fans cheered out. "Go Kaiba, Go Yugi!"

"But I still have three powerful magicians on my field, and you're left with nothing; it's your move," Yami started nodding his head towards Kaiba.

"I draw," Kaiba said, drawing a seventh card, his blue-eyes looking over his hand. "I may not have anything on my field, but thanks to your Card of Sanctity, my hand is full. First, I'll activate this spell card Forbidden Chalice." Kaiba said, slipping the spell into his disk's spell zone, his hand dropping to six. "This card lets me negate the effects of one monster on the field and increase its attack by four hundred. I'll target your Palladium Oracle Mana." Kaiba stated, the golden chalice appearing in her hand caused her to glow softly. (2000/1700+400/0=2400/1700) "I don't want its pesky effect getting in the way of the rest of my turn. "Next, I activate Dragon's Mirror! This spell card lets me fusion summon a dragon from my extra deck by banishing its fusion materials from my graveyard. I banish Blue-Eye Alternative White Dragon and two Blue-Eyes White Dragons from my graveyard." Kaiba said, seeing Yugi step back in shock at the realization of what this meant. "Come forth Blue-Eyes Alternative Ultimate Dragon." Kaiba declared, slapping the fusion monster on the different monster zone in front of his monster zone. The area lit up with a blinding white light as his signature fusion monster appeared but looked different; its eyes were brighter, the skull scales were whiter, and it had large blue, dark plates upon its head and chest. Its wings lower protruding bones were thick and almost black. Its hind legs were more muscular and thick while it roared out towards Yugi. (4500/3800)

"Blue-Eyes Alternative Ultimate Dragon!?" Yami declared in shock as a tremor of fear ran up his spine while the three white heads roared out louder, causing the shock waves to resonate around the stadium. Yami's arms went up to try and lessen the intensity of the roaring three heads. The thousands stared in awe and a slight shudder of fear. This dragon was different the Kaiba's normal Blue-Eyes Ultimate Dragon; it seemed more powerful.

Dudley looked out in fear, and his face was pale at the realization that if Kaiba lost, he might have to face this beast in battle, and frankly, that terrified him.

"My Blue-Eyes Alternative Ultimate Dragon has forty-five hundred attack points and thirty-eight hundred defense points, just like my Blue-Eyes Ultimate Dragon. But unlike my ordinary Blue-Eyes Ultimate Dragon, this new and improved version is an effect monster. If I fusion summon it using a Blue-Eyes Alternative White Dragon as a fusion material. Once a turn, my Blue-Eyes Alternative Ultimate Dragon can destroy three cards on your field. Since that is how I summoned it, I'll activate that effect Blue-Eyes Alternative Ultimate Dragon destroy all three of Yugi's monsters." Kaiba declared while the three heads reared their heads back, jaws drawing the lighting energy of its extraordinary power within its razor-sharp jowls. Roaring out as the three beams of electrical energy blasted all three of the magicians.

The resounding blast's causing Yami to slide back. The incredible strength and forceful display of this hydra-headed dragon's new power.

"Now, who's defenseless Yugi?" Kaiba asked sarcastically.

"My monsters may be gone, but their legacy will live on. I activate the effects of all three of my monsters. First, when my Palladium Oracle Mahad is destroyed, I can special summon Dark Magician from either my hand, deck, or graveyard." Yami stated a slight smirk upon his face.

"But you don't have a Dark Magician in your hand, deck, or graveyard. I've studied up on your deck and your strategies Yugi and I know you only have one Dark Magician, and you banished it with Chaos Form.

"Don't I? Look again, Kaiba, while my Magician of Chaos is on my field or in my graveyard, it takes on the name of The Dark Magician," Yami said, informing Kaiba of this fact. His eyes widened, unaware that Yami used substitution monsters to support his deck strategies.

"That's is something even I was unaware of Yugi. Good move," Kaiba said, his lip twitching with a slight snarl.

"That means I can special summon it with Mahad's effect," Yami stated, his hand pulling the blue ritual monster out and placing him in defense mode. The mage that resembled the Dark magician appeared, his armor gleaming while it stood kneeled staff before him. (2500/2100) "Next, I use the effect of Palladium Oracle Mana. Since she's been destroyed, I get to special summon my Dark Magician Girl from my hand, deck, or graveyard." Yami said, his grave slot slipping out the buxom blond as he plucked her and placed her in face-up defense mode. As a multitude of pink heard appeared and popped, his famous blond spellcaster appeared beside Magician of Chaos, blowing a raspberry at Kaiba then bowing her head in respect to her Master's intense form. (2000/1700) "And finally, since you destroyed my Magician of Chaos after it was ritual summoned to the field this turn. I can special summon one Chaos or Black Luster Soldier ritual monster from my hand, ignoring its summoning condition," Yami said, slipping his newly drawn card with Upstart Goblin upon the field. "Come to me, Magician of Black Chaos Max!" Yami declared. A striking beam of red and black energy struck the area besides Dark Magician Girl, causing her to shudder slightly at the incredible magical power bowing lower. Rising out of the beam of light stood the magician resembling the Magician of Black Chaos only in color. Its hair was a striking blue blowing all over its back like a wild mane. Its once beautiful scepter had transformed into what could only be called a Scimitar scepter, the top of his scepter resembling an open cunt sword blade. (2800/2600) "My three Magicians have been replaced by three more." Yami declared his lilac and red eyes were looking upon his two new ritual mages and his faithful Dark magician girl. (2500/2100) (2000/1700) 2800/2100) He hadn't seen this kind of configuration of his Magician since his duel against Noah Kaiba when he Kaiba and the Gang had been kidnapped and forced into Noah's virtual tournament. All so that the Big 5 could take their bodies and return to the real world pretending to be them. This time, his strategy wouldn't be stopped by a measly trap card.

"For now," Kaiba said, his lip twitching in annoyance that Yugi had been able to regain his field in only a single moment. "But they won't last on the field for long; I banish the King of Dragons and Deep-Eyes White Dragon from my graveyard to special summon Chaos Emperor Dragon Envoy of the End." Kaiba declared, slipping the two mentioned monster's into his breast pocket. His fingers finger's plucking the card from his hand, dropping it to four cards while the infamous dragon he used in his K.C tournament reappeared, roaring out towards Yugi. (3000/2500)

"Astounding, these two expert duelists are countering each other's strategies so perfectly." The announcer declared while the fans began to scream. "I've never seen anything like it before. With every move Kaiba makes to win this match, Yugi has a counter and vice versa. You guys are watching the best match in all of the duel monsters ever shown before. No other duel can compare, not Yugi verse Pegasus, Yugi verse Marik or Kaiba verse Siegfried. This here folks will go down in history as the greatest duel in all of Duel Monsters!" the announcer screamed into his mic, his voice resonating a tone of excitement and pride that he was the announcer who got to broadcast it.

"I can't believe they are still going strong; every move they make is countered and returned twice as strong," Ron said, his eyes wide at the sheer intricacy of tactical strategy needed to pull off every move these two veterans have performed in this final battle.

"I heard from Yugi that whenever he and Kaiba duel, they always go all out. They push themselves to their limits the absolute edge of their power and skill." Raven said, sitting beside the three young Wizards and Witch.

"My Chaos Emperor Dragon has three thousand attack points. I can special summon it by simply banishing a dark and a light monster from my graveyard," Kaiba said with a smirk knowing that Yami knew this since he wielded Black Luster Soldier. Still, this tidbit of information was more for the fan's understanding. "Next, I activate this powerful spell card Dimension Fusion by paying two thousand life points. This card lets us both special summon as many monsters that have been banished back to the field." Kaiba stated as his life points took a harsh dive of two thousand.

Kaiba: 3000

"Return to the field Deep-Eyes White Dragon (0/0), Blue-Eyes Alternative White Dragon(3000/2500), and two more Blue-Eyes White Dragons. (3000/2500)x2" Kaiba stated, pulling the four monsters from his pocket and slipping them upon his field. The sound of resonating roared echoed throughout the stadium.

As Kaiba's field was filled with creatures, the six dragons roared at the King of Games, causing his eyes to widen in shock. "Impossible! You have six monsters on the field. You can only have up to five monsters on the field. Explain yourself, Kaiba." Yami demanded; a trickle of sweat ran down his neck as a flash of fear ran through him. Never had he faced such an onslaught of power from such an army of Dragons?

"I guess you aren't familiar with the newest dueling rules, Yugi. Ordinarily, a Duelist can have five monsters on the field in their main monster zones. But now each duelist has access to a different monster zone." Kaiba said, gesturing to the slot that had appeared upon the front of his monster zone blade a single tray to hold a single monster card. "Specifically for monster's special summoned from the extra deck, as you can see since my Blue-Eyes Alternative Ultimate Dragon was special summoned from the extra deck it's in the extra monster zone. That leaves room for five more dragons on the field for a total of six monsters." Kaiba stated, his hands lifting, signaling the number six.

"Incredible," Yami said, looking at the army of dragons before him. "But I'm not out of this duel yet, Kaiba. Thanks to your Dimension Fusion, I special summon my banished Dark Magician (2500/2100) and Dark Magician of Chaos (2800/2600) back to the field." Yami stated, plucking his two Dark Magician monsters, slipping them both face-up in defense most as two pillars of dark energy erupted and faded. His two infamous monsters appeared kneeled with their scepters out before them in a defending stance.

"Now that our monsters are back on the field, their effects activate. I'll use my Deep-Eyes White Dragon's effect to copy the twenty-four hundred attack points of the Luster Dragon #2 in my graveyard." Kaiba said while Deep-Eyes glowed its zero attack points suddenly rose now to match the dragon's power. Deep-Eyes White Dragon (0/0+2400=2400/0)

"That may be true, Kaiba, but thanks to your Dimension Fusion, I returned my Dark Magician of Chaos, and now his effect activates. Allowing me to return one spell card from my graveyard to my hand, I return Card of Sanctity to my hand." Yami said as the spell pushed out of his graveyard, his fingers plucking the card, adding it to his hand giving him a hand of four cards.

"Now my monsters enter into the battle phase Deep-Eyes White Dragon attack Yugi's Magician of Chaos (2500/2100). Kaiba commanded as Deep-Eyes' ring above its head gathered energy and blasted the ritual version of Dark Magician; the ball of crackling energy blasted the mage causing him to cry out while Yami lifted his arm to black the shock wave. "Now Chaos Emperor Dragon attack and destroy Magician of Black Chaos Max (2800/2600)!" Kaiba commanded while the Chaos Emperor Dragon roared, rearing its head back, and blasted a purple sphere of cracking energy towards the magician, causing him to cry out and shatter. "Blue-Eyes Alternative White Dragon attack and destroy Dark Magician of Chaos (2800/2600)," Kaiba demanded, pointing his finger at the offending magician. Yami's gaze lowered to his mage, watching as he turned to look towards his Master, knowing he could not combat the attack just as the crackling White Lightning struck him, causing him to cry out and shatter into pixels. "Now my two Blue-Eyes White Dragons attack and destroy Yugi's Dark Magician (2500/2100) and Dark Magician girl (2000/1700). Double White Lightning!" Kaiba demanded while his two Blue-Eyes White Dragons roared, gathering the powerful lightning energy into their fanged maws, blasting two identical beams of white energy towards the two powerful magicians causing them to cry out. "We shall keep fighting on my apprentice." Dark Magician said to his apprentice as she looked at him, nodding sadly while they both shattered. Yami growled as he slipped the two magicians into his graveyard. "Fortunately for you, since my Alternative Ultimate Dragon used its effect this turn, it prevents it from declaring an attack this turn. But I still have six monsters on the field, and you have zero. In a duel between us, our fields look exactly as I would expect them to look Yugi. I set two cards facedown and end my turn." Kaiba said, his hand dropping to one card. "It's your move." He said a smirk upon his lips while the backs of two cards appeared behind his six dragons. Kaiba's blue eyes lowered to look upon his single card.

"I draw!" Yami declared, pulling the card from his deck with a flourish. "First, I'll set three cards face down." He said, slipping the three cards into the spell/trap zone. "Next, I play Card of Sanctity," Yami said, lowering his last card into his disk. "Once again, we each draw until we have six cards in our hands," Yami stated, his fingers snapping off six cards, while Kaiba pulled five cards, giving them both a hand of six. "And, I'm not done drawing cards yet, Kaiba. Now I activate Pot of Desires." He said as the strange new pot card appeared. "I banish the top ten cards of my deck face down from the game and draw two additional cards," Yami said, pulling ten cards slipping them into his pocket. His fingers were plucking two cards giving him seven.

"You'll need all the cards you can get, Yugi," Kaiba exclaimed smugly.

"I'll continue my turn by activating a new spell card, Ledger of Ledger Domain." He said, his fingers revealing the spell card and slipping it into the spell/trap zone, his hand dropping to six. "This card lets me banish the top three cards of my deck face down. Then during my third standby phase, I can add all three cards to my hand." He said, pulling the three cards placing them on the top of the ten he just banished. "I have you exactly where I want you, Kaiba. I activate my face-down card Polymerization," he said as his face-down middle card lifted. "I fuse my Crystal Seer, Old Vindictive Magician, Apprentice Illusion magician Mystical Elf, and Droll and Lock Bird," Yami said, his hand dropping to one card.

Kaiba's eyes widened at the list of names as he shook his head in disbelief, taking a slight step back. "Five monsters! What on earth are you summoning!?" Kaiba exclaimed in shock; he had never seen Yugi use five monsters for a single summon. His regular go-to fusion against his dragons was his Buster Blader, and this had to be a mighty monster to require five different monsters.

"I fusion summon Quintet Magician," Yami commanded, pulling the fusion monster from his extra deck and slapping it up on the extra monster zone. Suddenly several arcane circles appeared, five of them glowing and spinning as a beam of yellow light erupted upon his field. When the light faded, Kaiba stared in utter shock. This new monster resembled Dark Magician but in black armor and silk. Its helm was shorter with a golden band of arcane runes around the middle of the pointed headpiece. Its scepter hilt had a large crystal embedded in the wood while the Arcane magic circles continued to swirl around the impossibly powerful magician. (4500/4500)

Kaiba stared, his head shaking at the sheer vastness of this creature's attack and defense points. Narrowing his eyes in anger at the realization that he no longer had the advantage of attack points, now they were even once again.

"My Quintet Magician can be fusion summoned by using any five spell caster type monsters. And unfortunately for Kaiba, as soon as it strikes the field. Its effect activates since I used five spell caster type monsters with different names all cards on your field are destroyed." Yami said as the multiple Arcane circles gathered one after another was creating a stack of magical arcane magic spinning faster and faster, glowing brighter and brighter, crackling with incredible magical energy.

"Astounding. I've never seen Yugi summon such a creature before. I know he specializes in his magician's but to summon such an imposing mage to combat Kaiba's dragons seems quite fitting." Ryou said, sitting in his chair next to the other fellow duelists and observers.

"ARE YOU SEEING THIS DUEL FANS? DO YOU SEE THIS NEVER IN ALL OF THE DUEL MONSTERS HAS THIS MAGICIAN BEEN SUMMONED AND IT'S SPECIAL POWER TRIGGERED." The announcer declared, causing the fans to erupt with "YUGI, YUGI, YUGI, YUGI."

"Quintet Magician, strike down all of Kaiba's monsters and all of his magic and trap cards," Yami commanded while Quintet Magician's staff gem glowed. Lifting the staff as he brought the gem to the center of the arcane circle crying out as a blast of purple, black and yellowish light magic shot through the multiple rings towards Kaiba's field.

"Hold on, Yugi, I'm not going down that easily. I play my face down go!" Kaiba declared, revealing a trap with Mystical elf upon it. "Go gift of the Mystical Elf," Kaiba said as flashbacks of Yugi versus an imposter of himself flashed in his memory. "Now I restore three hundred life points for every monster upon the field, and I count seven monsters," Kaiba said as his life points rose by an additional twenty-one hundred life points.

Kaiba: 5100

"Impressive, it seems Kaiba has grown as a duelist." A voice said, his voice was a deep and raspy tone. The sound of metal studs clinging upon the metal guard railing of the stadiums' rafters sounded around him but was tuned out due to the speaker system pounding out Kaiba's voice.

"Well, of course, he has learned more. I mean, after all, he did beat Alistair and nearly beat Darts with the help of the Pharaoh." Another voice said from the darkness of the upper rafters. "Who would have thought the legendary Dragons and the Oricalcos would return after only a short lapse of time." The voice said, his accent was a thick Australian. His brown spiked hair resembling Sonic the Hedgehogs while the other man rested his arms on the rail. His eyes were upon the Pharaoh's eyes narrowing slightly while the soft spotlight glinted in his buzz cut like blond locks. This man was massive, standing over six feet tall, muscular and young, no older than his early twenties.

"I'm more aggravated that we got pulled back into this mess once I felt the Oricalcos trigger once more." He said with a sigh, his arm lifting his Oricalcos Duel disk.

"Yeah, but this time we get to help instead of causing chaos." The younger man said, smirking his arm, showing a similar duel disk while his right hand's ring finger glinted with a cracked green stone.

"You may have gotten a life point boost. But your monsters and remaining face-down cards are still going to be destroyed." Yami informed Kaiba as the magic struck all of Kaiba's monsters and his remaining face-down card, causing an immense explosion of smoke and fire. Kaiba's arms rose to block his face waving his arm to clear the smoke around his face.

As the smoke began to clear, Yami's eyes widened at the shock that stood on his opponent's field. Blue-Eyes Alternative Ultimate Dragon stood untouched as its three heads reared back and roared defiantly. "What's the meaning of this Kaiba?" Yami declared, demanding an answer.

"That's right, Yugi, you may have destroyed the rest of my monsters, but my Blue-Eyes Alternative Ultimate Dragon has another special effect," Kaiba said, watching as Yami leaned his head back, muttering in annoyance. "Of course it does." He said with a growl, hearing Yugi in spirit form smile ever so slightly, which caused the ancient King to glare playfully at his Aibou. "My Ultimate Dragon can't be targeted or destroyed by your card effects. That means your Quintet Magician's effect is powerless against it." Kaiba stated with a slight chuckle.

"Even so, your other five monsters are now gone," Yami said, his brow rising confidently.

"Which reminds me I activate the effect of my Deep-Eyes White Dragon. As you already know, since it was destroyed, so are all of the monsters on your field." Kaiba informed Yugi, his lips forming a smirk of condescension. "So say goodbye to your Quintet Magician," Kaiba said with a smirk, his arms folding over his chest.

"It's a bit early to be saying goodbye to my Quintet Magician. I guess you aren't aware of my Quintet Magician's other effect." Yami said, pointing to his magician as the power of Deep-Eyes struck at Quintet only to be ceased by the magical crystal embedded within the top of his scepter.

"Other effect!?" Kaiba exclaimed in shock.

"Like your Blue-Eyes Alternative Ultimate Dragon, it to cannot be destroyed by card effects. That means your Deep-Eyes White Dragons effect is powerless against it." Yami declared while his immense spell caster swung its scepter, simply casting away the striking lightning it had gathered within the large crystal headpiece. "And like your Ultimate Dragon, my Quintet Magician has forty-five hundred attack points. Which means our two monsters are evenly matched. But before they clash, I'm summoning Sangan to the field." Yami said, playing his last card from his hand. A furry orange fiend appeared growling with three large eyes. (1000/600) "Now Quintet Magician attack and destroy Kaiba's Ultimate Dragon with your Magical Arcane Lightning," Yami commanded as the multitude of arcane rings appeared above the Ultimate Dragons stacked upon one another and glowed, gathering magical lightning striking it downwards.

"Blue-Eyes Alternative Ultimate Dragon counter-attack," Kaiba commanded, watching his three-headed behemoth look above and blast its three signature white lightning. The gathering energy joined together to form its powerful Neutron Blast striking the lightning, causing an immense explosion pushing both duelists back a few steps.

The crowd was in complete awe at the back and forth maneuvers and tactics as the explosion shook the very stadium, causing a few of the younger children to scream in fear.

"Your Dragon, Magician is destroyed." Yugi and Kaiba said perfectly synced with one another.

"What in the blustering hell is going on in this place." Exclaimed Vernon Dursley, his beady eyes wide with a shock that these two monsters had enough power to cause shock waves throughout the entire stadium, causing the very ground to shudder ever so slightly. His eyes looked to his son, his pride and joy, and a look of shock showed over his walrus-like face. Dudley was sitting pale white, and sweat was beading upon his brow; his son was terrified. "Dudley, what's wrong son, are you feeling alright." He asked, his meaty hand coming to grasp and gently shake his large stout son's shoulder.

"No, I'm not, dad; I have to duel the loser of this match." He said, swallowing loudly with a tremble of fear in his voice. For all of Dudley's blustering and boastful nature, he wasn't that great of a duelist. Yeah, he had a decent deck for a beginner but to duel one of the greatest duelists on the entire planet. He had about as much of a chance of winning as his father ever losing weight and becoming fit as he had become. "I'm so screwed." He said more to himself as his voice carried out, catching Harry's attention. He was smirking to himself as he watched his cousin shudder in fear at his upcoming duel surrounded by thousands of onlookers.

"Oh, I can't wait to watch that duel." He said as Hermione looked at him.

"What do you mean Harry, you have to convince whoever wins this not to duel your cousin. He doesn't stand a chance against either Yugi or Kaiba.

"I know, and I'm going to relish every single second of watching him squirm at his helplessness," Harry said, smiling. Years of verbal and physical abuse from his family, and he was never allowed to fight back or defend himself for fear he would be thrown out of the Dursleys and lose the powerful magic of the blood wards prevented it. But here in this stadium, he got to watch his cousin, his Aunt, and Uncle humiliated by another muggle broadcasted all over the world. He may not be allowed to use magic against them, but nothing in the statute of Secrecy did it say a wizard had to protect another person if he didn't want to.

"Now Sangan attack Kaiba directly," Yugi commanded, his monster rushing towards the teenage Billionaire leaping in the air and slashing its claws across his chest, causing Kaiba to wince in pain. "I end my turn." He said, smirking while Kaiba reached for his deck.

Kaiba: 4100

"I draw," Kaiba said, pulling the seventh card to his hand. "First, I activate Pot of Greed," Kaiba said, playing the famous draw spell, his hand dropping to six then rising to eight cards. "Next, I activate Swing of Memories," Kaiba said, playing the spell card, his hand reducing to seven. "Now I can special summon a normal monster from my graveyard. So take flight Blue-Eyes White Dragon." Kaiba declared his ace monster was returning upon the field roaring at the Pharoah (3000/2500). "Next, I activate the effect of my Neo Kaiser Glider by discarding it from my hand along with one other monster. I can special summon another normal monster from my graveyard. I discard my Neo Kaiser Glider and Kaiser Vorse Raider to the graveyard." He said, slipping the two cards into his graveyard. "Return my Blue-Eyes White Dragon," Kaiba said as his second dragon returned from the Grave, roaring at the small Sangan, causing it to shudder in fear.

"Just great, I clear out his field, and he still manages to revive his Blue-Eyes." Yami through the mind link with Yugi. "Don't give up; Pharaoh, we are far from beaten." He said, motivating his ancient partner.

"Now, my Neo Kaiser Glider's other effect triggers when it sent to the graveyard, all monsters you control lose five hundred attack points until the end phase," Kaiba said as Sangan seemed to wilt from the power of the dragon he had sent to the grave. Sangan (1000/600-500/=500/600) "That means your Sangan is down to a measly five hundred attack points. Oh, and my turn isn't even close to being finished, Yugi. I activate Polymerization." He said, slipping the popular fusion card upon his disk, his hand dropping to three cards. Yami looked at Kaiba as he sighed deeply.

"Just great another Ultimate Dragon." Yami thought as Kaiba lifted another card from his hand.

"I fuse the two Blue-Eyes White Dragons on my field with the third in my hand to form Neo Blue-Eyes Ultimate Dragon," Kaiba exclaimed, his arms rising in the air for effect. A massive beam of light erupted upon the field as the three-headed beast appeared roaring at Yami. It was almost identical to the Blue-Eyes Ultimate Dragon, but its head scars were more flared its scales seemed to glow. (4500/3800) "My new dragon has forty-five hundred attack points, your finished Yugi. Neo Blue-Eyes Ultimate Dragon will attack Yugi's Sangan Neo Neutron Blast. End this duel!" Kaiba exclaimed, his hand jutting out to emphasize the attack declaration. His dragon's three heads reared back, gathering energy, and brought them back forwards, blasting three separate beams towards the shuddering little fiend.

"Yes, Kaiba, it is time to end this duel. I activate my trap card. Go Magic Cylinder, and this card negates your Ultimate Dragons attack towards my monster then redirects it to your life points." Yami announced as one of his two final faces down lifted, revealing the runic-covered double cylinders. "And since your monster has forty-five hundred attack points and you only have forty-one hundred life points. That means that this duel is over Kaiba." Yami declared as the two cylinders gathered the combined attack of his Ultimate Dragon into one barrel and turned it around, blasting it with an immense concussive blast towards Kaiba. While the attack was turned around and fired back, Kaiba stood not with a look of fear or rage, while his lips were smirking as I spoke.

"You know Yugi; you're so predictable. I knew you would try something like that, Yugi. You always save your game changer cards for the end. That's why I was prepared for this very moment. I activate De-Fusion from my hand." Kaiba said, his hand dropping to two cards. Yami's eyes widened in shock; never had he see Kaiba use the card himself; he had used it a few times against him, but this was an absolute shock to see Kaiba defuse his own Ultimate Dragon. "This card splits my Ultimate Dragon back into the three Blue-Eyes White Dragons I used to create it. Your Magic Cylinder is rendered powerless!" Kaiba declared as his Dragon cried out, roaring one final time before splitting up and vanishing as the trap cards attack beam fizzled out before striking Kaiba. His field suddenly lit up with three identical rays of light and three roaring cries of anger and vengeance. Clawing their way up from the field, Kaiba's three Blue-Eyes White Dragons stood before him flapping their large stunning wings and roaring at Yugi. The resonance was causing Yami to lift his arms and slide back a couple of feet with a cry of pain at the sheer shockwave of strength their mere voices had.

"Aghhhh, how can I stop it." He said, panting while lowering his arms.

"Now I have three Blue-Eyes White Dragons against your tiny Sangan. Blue-Eyes White Dragon attack and destroy Yugi's Sangan, white Lightning." Kaiba commanded, hearing the infamous crackling of energy gathering in the maw of his far-left Blue-Eyes Jowls.

"If you wish to try and destroy my Sangan, you will have to find him first," Yugi said, his last card lifting to reveal a grouping of Top hats. "Go, Magical hats." He commanded as four hands appeared upon the field, covering the Sangan and rapidly spinning around, then resetting the field, taking up four monster zones. "Take your best shot Kaiba," Yami said, a confident smirk upon his lips.

"Alright, fine, Blue-Eyes White Dragon attack the rightmost hat." He commanded his far-right Blue-Eyes Roared and blasted Yugi's farthest right hat, causing it to shatter.

A soft chuckle passed Yugi's lips. "That's a miss."

"Now my second Blue-Eyes can attack, now strike the middle hat," Kaiba commanded as the three remaining hats stood in front of Yugi like a small silk wall. The second Blue-Eyes roared like her sister, gathering up the power it possessed and blasted the beam at the middle silk top hat.

Yami stood, his arms folded as his smirk grew into a smile; he loved this trap card. "Better luck next time, Kaiba." He said, holding back his mirthful laugher.

"Fine, but my third Blue-Eyes can still attack. So go and attack the hat on the left," Kaiba said as his final dragon roared and blasted a beam of energy more prominent than the other two, probably angry that its previous two strikes had failed. The beam striking the silk hat obliterating it as the cry of Sangan could be heard.

"You finally destroyed my Sangan, but unfortunately for you, not only did my trap switch it into defense mode, but it activated his special effect. Now I can add any monster in my deck to my hand with fifteen- hundred attack points directly to my hand. I choose Kuribandit." Yami said, pulling the deck out, fanning it, and plucking the card. His nimble fingers quickly shuffled and cut his deck, then re-slotted it. "Since it's obvious that my last hat is empty and all three of your Blue-Eyes White Dragons have declared an attack, I'll dispel my final hat." He said as the last silk top hat popped with a cloud of pink smoke.

"You may have survived one more turn, Yugi, but there's no way you'll win this duel. I'll set one card face down and a monster face-down in defense mode; it's your move." Kaiba stated, his fingers slipping the last two cards in his hand upon the monster zone's disk and one in the back row.

"I'll draw," Yugi said, plucking a second card to his hand. "I'll begin my turn by summoning Kuribandit from hand to the field," Yugi said as he placed the monster upon the field. It had black fur and resembled Kuriboh, but it wore a pirate's bandana, an eye patch, and an adorable small dagger. (1000/700) "Now I'll tribute it to activate its effect; Kuribandits effect lets me reveal the top five cards of my deck. Any trap or spell cards get added to my hand, while any monster cards go straight to the graveyard." Yami stated, his hand snapping the top five cards, fanning them out and flipping them towards Kaiba.

"I reveal Overdone Burial, Diffusion-Wave Motion, Magic Formula, Electro Magnetic Turtle (0/1800), and Clear Kuriboh (300/200)," Yami said as he slipped the two monsters into his graveyard, adding the three spell cards to his hand, giving him four cards. "Next, I discard my Sorcerer of Dark Magic from my hand for Overdone Burial. I can activate Overdone Burial by discarding a monster from my hand. Overdone Burial special summons a monster from my graveyard with a level lower than the discarded monster's level. The effect of the monster I special summoned through Overdone Burial is negated. Since I discarded a level nine monster to activate my Overdone Burial, I can special summon my level, seven Magician of Chaos, back to the field." Yami stated, his fingers plucking the ritual monster from the grave and placing it back upon the monster zone in attack mode (2500/2100). Next, I equip my Magician of Chaos with Magic Formula; this spell card increases my spell casters attack points by seven hundred." Yami said, slipping the card into his disk. A hefty tome appeared before the Magician of Chaos flipping pages to the center; its magic began to glow over the magician. (2500/2100+500/0=3200/2100)

"I have to admit this is an astounding match to see these two duke it out so skillfully," Dumbledore said, sitting in his chair while he watched two of his transfer student's skill and mastery of their game shine through.

"Now my Magician of Chaos has thirty-two hundred attack points which make my mage the strongest monster on the field, Kaiba," Yugi said, a look of confidence upon his regal features.

"You may have the strongest monster on the field, Yugi. But my monsters still outnumber yours four to one," Kaiba stated, his hand reaching out to gesture to the three Blue-Eyes White Dragons to emphasize the advantage his dragons roared at the Pharaoh to show they weren't scared.

"But they won't for long, Kaiba; I give up one thousand life points to activate my Diffusion-Wave Motion." He said, watching Kaiba growl similar to his dragons, his boot taking a step back at the realization of what was going to happen. This was precisely what Yugi had done to him during his tournament with Dark Paladin so long ago.

Yugi: 2000

"Diffusion-Wave Motion allows me to have a level seven spell caster or higher attack every monster on the field. Plus, the effects of any monsters destroyed by my powered-up magician are negated." Yami said as his eyes looking upon the slight tremor of fear flashing across the ordinarily stoic face of Seto Kaiba. "Your four to one advantage is about to be eliminated. My Magician of Chaos will attack all of your monsters. I'll start with a Blue-Eyes White Dragon." Yami commanded while his Mage swung the scepter blasting its magic towards the dragon destroying it with ease.

Kaiba: 3900

"Now, I'll attack another Blue-Eyes," Yami commanded while his mage made the same move blasting his magic at the monster causing the dragon to shatter.

Kaiba: 3700

"And now you're third Blue-Eyes," Yami said, watching his mage repeat its movement was blasting the white dragon off the field.

"Come on," Kaiba complained as his points dropped by another two hundred.

Kaiba: 3500

"Finally, my Magician of Chaos attacks your face-down monster. Go, my magician, now destroy Kaiba's last monster." Yami commanded while his mage lifted its scepter and brought the tip down, causing the ground to shatter in a trail towards the face-down monster destroying it. Kaiba's hand was reaching up to pluck his last Blue-Eyes and his monster flipping it to reveal Giant Germ sliding them into his Graveyard. "Your field of Monsters is vanquished, Kaiba," Yami said, nodding his head in finality.

Suddenly the laugher of Kaiba caught Yami off guard while Kaiba looked on with narrowed eyes laughing almost maniacally. "What's so funny!" Yami demanded seeing such a broad smile upon Kaiba's face caused the ancient Pharaoh to show a glimmer of worry.

"Oh listen, by destroying my Giant Germ, you fell right into my trap!" he exclaimed, holding his arms with joy.

"Impossible your Giant Germs effect was negated thanks to the effect of my Diffusion-Wave Motion spell card," Yami said, informing Kaiba that his monster's effect wouldn't trigger.

"I wasn't trying to use my Giant Germs special effect Yugi. I just needed you to destroy it so I could activate this card." Kaiba declared his final face-down card, suddenly lifted, revealing a purple-pink cell. "Go Crush Card Virus!" he yelled as the cells appeared and flew towards Yami's magician.

"What have you done, Kaiba!?" Yami declared, looking on in shock.

"I wasn't trying to infect your deck with a Germ Yugi; I wanted to infect it with a virus. The deadliest virus in all of the duel monsters, and it looks like I succeeded." He said while he began to laugh once more. It had been so long since Yugi had fallen into his virus trap combo.

000

"Well, I'll be; that's an incredible combo; I admit I would have fallen for it." The spiky-haired young man said while they both watched the duel from high above.

"Yeah, even I would have fallen for Kaiba's virus trap, and there isn't much I would have been able to do to counter it either." The muscular blonde man said, nodding his head in awe at the skillful use of his losing situation.

000

"When you destroy one of my dark monsters with one thousand or fewer attack points in battle, I can activate my trap card. And since my Giant Germ is a Dark Fiend with one thousand attack points, it fits the bill." He said while Yami looked at his magician and then his deck, the deck slot glowing while his monster seemed to be attempting to fight off the sickening virus. It had been so long since he had encountered Kaiba's crush card back in the Duelists Kingdom when he used Saggi the Dark Clown (600/1500) to trigger his trap. "As we speak, my crush card virus is infecting your Hand, field, and Deck. Now for the rest of this duel, any monster in your hand with an attack of fifteen hundred or higher is immediately destroyed. Plus, any monster on your field with fifteen hundred attack points or more is destroyed, and don't even think about special summoning any monsters with fifteen hundred or more attack points, Yugi. Because guess what? they'll be immediately destroyed as well." Kaiba said, his face showing a glee and joy he hadn't shown since his first time using this trap card against Yugi.

"This cannot be," Yugi muttered in shock at the realization of what it meant, he had no cards in his hand, and all of his cards in his spell zone were spell cards and a single monster; he was going to lose.

"You fell right into my trap Yugi attacking my Giant Germ with your Magician of Chaos marks the beginning of the end for you. And the first victim of my trap card is your Magician of Chaos. Since it's on the field and its attack strength is well above fifteen hundred, it's automatically destroyed." Kaiba said while Yugi sighed. His hand reached out, slipping the three cards from the back row and his monster into the graveyard. "Face it, Yugi, without access to your best cards, you don't stand a chance. Not even the Egyptian Gods could save you now." Kaiba said so matter of fact.

"He's right, Pharaoh. We just lost our best strategies. How are we going to win this." Yugi said through the mind link.

"It doesn't look good, Yugi, but we have to trust our deck and find a way to win. We can't give up. I refuse to lose." Yami said through the link, his fist clenching in determination.

"Your right, Pharaoh; I believe in you," Yugi said softly, fading back into the chambers of the Millennium Puzzle.

"When my Magician of Chaos is destroyed, so was my Magic Formula, and when my Magic Formula is sent from the field to the graveyard. I can then recover one thousand life points," he exclaimed, his lift point counter rising once more to three thousand.

Yugi: 3000

"One thousand more life points will make no difference at all, Yugi, not anymore. Nothing will stop the Crush Card Virus from tearing apart your deck, and nothing will stop me from winning this duel!" Kaiba screamed, his blue-eyes glinting with excitement at the knowledge that he was finally going to beat Yugi and reclaim his title as the world's greatest duelist.

"I end my turn," Yami said with a growl in his voice.

"I draw," Kaiba said, pulling a single card to his hand. "You ended your turn without a single card on your field. But I guess that's the best you can do with my Crush Card Virus devastating your deck. I assure you, Yugi, my turn will be far more impressive. First, I activate the Pot of Extravagance. I banish six random cards face down from my extra deck. To draw two cards from my main deck." Kaiba said, pulling out his extra deck, fanning it out, and plucking the six cards slipping them into his coat pocket. His fingers reached his deck, plucking two cards from the top.

"Now, for the rest of the turn, I can't draw cards from my deck, but that won't be a problem. I activate Chaos Form; just like you, Yugi, I'll be summoning the Chaos version of my ace monster. This card didn't do you a lot of good Yugi, but I'll make better use of it. I banish a Blue-Eyes White Dragon from my graveyard to ritual summon Blue-Eyes Chaos Max Dragon." Kaiba exclaimed, playing the last card in his hand. The strange Chaos portal appeared as the gate opened and out stepped an immense dragon resembling the Blue-Eyes, but it was three times the size with shining blue light all over its form. Its scales once flesh was now hard metallic and shining in the stadium's lighting; its eyes were a shining glow of blue neon. Upon its shoulders resembled the skull scale headpieces of the Blue-Eyes, but the ends had four giant black claw-like bones protruding. Spreading its wings and roaring out, the sound caused Yami to slide back several feet, holding his arms up to fight the sheer strength of its roar (4000/0).

"Four thousand attack points!" Yami said, his eyes wide in shock at the sheer power of Kaiba's new dragon.

"That's right, Yugi, and it also has a couple of effects that you might want to hear about. First, my Blue-Eyes Chaos Max Dragon can't be targeted or destroyed by your card effects. Second, anytime my dragon attacks a monster in defense mode, it deals double piercing battle damage." Kaiba stated, his lips forming a wide smile.

000

"Wow, I never knew he had that card in his deck; I'm so glad I never had to face it. Double piercing battle damage, that's incredible." Raven said while Ron looked over at her then back to the match.

"Is that good?" Hermione asked in confusion about the term.

"Yes, you see, when a monster attacks with piercing damage on a defense mode monster, the damage dealt is the difference between the attacking monster's attack and the defense of the defending monster. But with Kaiba's dragon able to deal double damage, it's devastating, so instead of you simply losing like fifteen hundred life points, you would lose three thousand life points instead." She informed the soft brown eyes witch.

"Well, that can't be fair." She exclaimed, looking at Kaiba's immense shining dragon while folding her arms over her chest in annoyance.

000

"It's over, Yugi. Since you only have three thousand life points remaining, one direct attack will finish you off. "Blue-Eyes Chaos MAX Dragon attack Yugi directly and end this duel with True Maximum Burst!" Kaiba exclaimed, his hand thrusting out towards Yugi. Chaos MAX Dragon roared and reared its head back as the gem-like blue stones upon its wingtips glowed and blasted smaller lasers of blue-white light to be joined by a massive beam of the same color from the maw of Blue-Eyes Chaos MAX Dragons jowls.

"It's not over yet, Kaiba. I activate the effect of the Clear Kuriboh in my graveyard. By banishing it from my graveyard, I get to draw one card from my deck. If it's a monster, I can special summon it to the field." Yami said, his eyes looking to his deck. "I draw," Yami said, his fingers pulling the top card of his deck. His eyes widened while his lips formed a devious smirk. "I've drawn Kuriboh." He stated, watching Kaiba's eyes widen in shock. "Instead of special summoning him to the field, I'll discard him to reduce all the battle damage from this battle to zero," Yami said, sending the small furry ball of fur to the graveyard just as the beams were about to strike him. A large wall of cooing Kuriboh appeared, taking the multiple blasts from Kaiba's attacking powerhouse.

"Face it, Yugi, your only delaying the inevitable defeat. You have no cards in your hand or on your field." He said, waving his arm over his opponent's field. "Defeating my Blue-Eyes Chaos MAX Dragon will be impossible. Maybe you could have defeated it if my Crush Card Virus didn't infect your monsters, but with my virus, in effect, you don't stand a chance. It's your move." Kaiba said, waving at his opponent.

"He's right; I've considered every card combination was remaining in our deck. There's no way for us to defeat his Blue-Eyes Chaos MAX Dragon," Yami thought through the link they shared.

"Maybe not, but we can still find a way to win. It's like you said, Pharaoh, we can't give up." Yugi said, placing his spectral hand upon the right shoulder of his closest friend.

"I draw," Yami said, pulling a single card to his hand. Yami's eyes looked from the card to Kaiba's eyes; the bright lilac and hint of red seemed to glow while Kaiba stared a twitch of fear in his blue gaze. "I activate Draw of Fate," Yami said, seeing the confusion on Kaiba's face. "If my life points are lower than yours and you control the strongest monster on the field. I can activate my Draw of Fate spell card. This card lets me select three cards from my deck and put them on my deck's top in random order. Then I get to draw one of those cards, and for the rest of the turn, I can't set any spell or trap cards, and cant activate more than one card or effect." He said, looking at Kaiba.

"Clever move Yugi, manipulating your next three draws, you can guarantee you won't draw a monster susceptible to my Crush Card Virus. But if you think that will be enough to save you in this duel, oh man, you're delusional. Kaiba said, watching Yugi pull out his deck, pull the cards shuffle the deck, closed his eyes, and rearrange the three cards, placing them at the top of his deck.

"I draw a card with my Draw of Fate," Yami said, looking at the card. "I end my turn." He said, watching Kaiba.

"Another turn wasted. It's my move, I draw." Kaiba said, pulling a card, his eyes looking upon the card. A slight smirk was forming upon his lips. "Perfect. I activate Monster Reborn. Now I can revive any monster that has been sent to the graveyard during this duel. Now rise Blue-Eyes Alternative Ultimate Dragon back to the field." Kaiba said his new signature fusion appeared roaring out its three maws. "Remember my Blue-Eyes Alternative Ultimate Dragon? It has forty-five hundred attack points and thirty-eight hundred defense points. It can't be targeted or destroyed by your card effects, yeah, alongside my Chaos MAX Dragon. I would say your odds of winning have just been cut in half. But, what half of zero anyway, Yugi. Blue-Eyes Alternative Ultimate Dragon strikes Yugi directly and finish this duel." Kaiba commanded the three heads, gathering their power up and blasting the three tri-colored beams at Yami.

"This duel isn't over yet, Kaiba; I activate the effect of my Electromagnetic Turtle that's residing in my graveyard. By simply banishing it from the grave, I can then end your battle phase." Yami said, his grave slot pushing out the monster card as he added it to his growing pocket of banished monsters. "It looks like ill be getting another turn," Yami said, a slight twinge of a smile forming on his lips that he got to use the same strategy against Kaiba twice.

"If you insist, go ahead and struggle all you want, Yugi. Take another turn and draw your last pathetic card Yugi." Kaiba said, smiling, watching his opponent.

"This is it, and there's only one card we can draw to turn this duel around." Yami thought through the link.

"But what if we don't draw it, Pharaoh," Yugi said, looking at his deck; the stack had diminished quite a bit during this back and forth battle, but even after every turn, there was still a sizable stack of cards remaining.

"We can't think like that, Yugi. It's like your Grandfather always says we have to trust in the heart of the cards and put our faith in our deck. Then anything is possible," Yami said as Yugi nodded in spectral form. "Heart of the cards," Yami said, his fingers touching the top of his deck while the eyes of Wudjat appeared upon his brow, the Millennium Puzzle began to glow. "Guide me." He said, looking at Kaiba. "I draw." Since three turns have passed since I activated my Ledger of Ledger Domain, I add the three cards I banished with its effect to my hand." He said, pulling out the cards he had placed sideways to signify the three cards. His hand was slipping the three cards into his hand, fanning them out to five cards, Yami's eyes widening slightly. "Now I have the perfect five cards I need to defeat you, Kaiba. "

"Your bluffing," Kaiba said with a low growl.

"Am I? I activate this spell card, Burial, from a different Dimension. This card allows me to return three banished cards to their owner's graveyard. I'll use it to return the White Stone of Ancients, Blue-Eyes White Dragon, and The King of Dragons to your graveyard." He said, smiling, his fingers plucking another card from his hand. "Next, I activate Soul Release now; I can banish up to five cards from either player's graveyard. I banish Giant Germ from your Graveyard, and then from my own grave, I banish Mystical Elf, Droll and Lockn Bird, Kuriboh and Old Vindictive Magician from my graveyard." He said, pulling the four cards out slipping them into another pocket.

"What are you planning!?" Kaiba exclaimed and asked his mind going over card combinations and strategies, trying to figure out the maneuver that Yami was forming before him.

"You're about to find out; I discard Dark Magic Twin Burst from my hand to activate Double Spell," Yami said, slipping the card into the grave while he played the next card. Now I can select a magic card in your graveyard and activate it on my side of the field, and the spell card I choose is Dimension Fusion. I give up two thousand life points to force us to be able to special summon as many banished monsters as possible." Yami said, seeing his points plummet.

Yugi: 1000

"Have you forgotten that any monster you summon with fifteen hundred or more attack points will be immediately destroyed?" Kaiba asked, a look of shock upon his face.

"I'm not planning on summoning any monsters with more than fifteen hundred attack points, Kaiba. I special summon Clear Kuriboh (300/200) Electromagnetic Turtle (0/1800), Mystical Elf (800/2000), Droll and Lock Bird (0/0), and Kuriboh (300/200)," Yami said, slipping the five monsters upon his field. Since each of these monsters has fewer than fifteen hundred attack points, they are unaffected by your Crush Card Virus. And since your Giant Germ is banished from the duel, you must special summon it to your field." Yami declared, watching as Kaiba plucked the monster slapping the overly large germ upon his disk (1000/100).

"Fine, I'll summon it in attack mode then."He snarled, watching Yugi with suspicion in his eyes.

"Now, I have you right where I want you," he said, smiling softly.

"Impossible! What's the last card in your hand." Kaiba demanded to know while Yami lifted the final card from his Draw of fate and Ledger of Ledger Domain.

"I tribute Clear Kuriboh Electromagnetic Turtle Mystical Elf, Droll and Lock Bird, and Kuriboh," Yami said, bringing his monsters to the grave. At the same time, his hand plucked the card from between his fingers to play arm drawn back dramatically. "I've told you once, and I'll tell you again, Kaiba, my deck has no pathetic cards," Yami said as a flash of recollection struck Kaiba like a bolt of lightning. His blue-Eyes widened even more as he took a step back at the realization of what was to come. "But once again, it does contain the unstoppable Exodia. Come forth, Exodia, the Legendary Defender." Yami yelled as he slapped the card upon the field. Suddenly a nine-pointed pentagram appeared; a deep resonating bellow could be heard throughout the entire stadium before him. Two arms with massive dark blue fists and two massive legs pushed through the circle. Suddenly an Egyptian head-dressed male stepped through. He resembled Exodia almost identically but was black and shining neon blue yelling out his arms and legs bound by immensely thick chains. He was suddenly jerking his arms and legs wide, shattering the chains that held him binding his powers. The aura that resonated from this creature was so similar to Exodia The Forbidden One that Kaiba swallowed slightly, taking a hesitant step back, his eyes blue-eyes narrowing as he looked at the creature's attack and defense points (?/?).

"EXODIA, HOW CAN THIS BE!" Kaiba declared in utter shock.

"Exodia the Legendary Defender is a new addition to my deck. I can tribute summon it by tributing the monsters on my field, and if I do Exodia, the Legendary Defender gains attack points and defense points equal to the monsters I used to summon it." Yami declared as the two question marks that symbolized its attack and defense points began to tally and rise (1400/4200). "I carefully selected the monsters to tribute so that their combined attack points are higher than the total stats of your Giant Germ but lower than fifteen-hundred. Since two of the monsters I tribute have zero attack points, two of them have three hundred attack points, and the last one has eight hundred attack points giving my monster a total of fourteen hundred attack points. Making it unaffected by your Crush Card Virus, but more than enough to crush your Giant Germ Kaiba."

"That Exodia is nothing like the real thing. Its feeble stats barely make it strong enough to defeat my Giant Germ. Even then, you still won't wipe out my life points with its attack. On my next turn, my two dragons will wipe out Exodia and the rest of your life points Yugi." He said with a snarl towards Yami.

"There won't be a next turn Kaiba Exodia the Legendary Defender, also has another special effect. When it destroys a dark Fiend in battle, I automatically win the duel. And since your Giant Germ is a dark Fiend monster." Yami said but was caught off by Kaiba's outburst.

"NO WAY!" he exclaimed, realizing why Yugi had removed the monsters from his banished pile to only leave Giant Germ and special summon it to his field through the use of his Dimension Fusion spell card.

"Yes, way, the very monster you relied on to infect my deck with the Crush Card Virus was also the weak link that has assured your defeat Kaiba. Now all I have to do is have Exodia the Legendary Defender attack and destroy your Giant Germ to win this duel." Yami declared confidently while he saw Kaiba's jaw clench in anger.

"This can't be happening!" Kaiba said his blue-eyes were squinting in rage at the realization that this had made two losses to Yugi with the unstoppable power of Exodia.

"EXODIA OBLITERATE!" Yami commanded while Exodia, the Legendary Defender, pulled his massive hands back, gathering the immense energy of its attack together into a perfect sphere of unstoppable power, blasting the globe towards the Giant Germ, lighting up Kaiba's entire field in blinding blueish white light. In contrast, his Giant Germ was obliterated from the field. The sound of Kaiba's life point counter resonated throughout the stadium as it hit zero.

Kaiba: 0

As the blinding light finally faded, Yami's monsters faded and vanished as well as Kaiba's powerful dragons. The crowd was going insane, cheering, clapping, and wolf-whistling.

"I can't believe I lost again to Exodia," Kaiba said, standing in slight shock while Yami walked over to his rival. His lilac and crimson gaze looked upon Kaiba with a soft smile.

"Don't be upset, Kaiba; this was an astounding duel by far our absolute best, thank you," Yami stated, his hand reaching out to shake his rival's hand. Kaiba was growling slightly as he saw Yugi approach and reach out to shake his hand. Not being the sore loser of his past, he reached out, shaking his hand.

"Yes, you are right, it was an amazing duel, and next time we duel. I will win." As he released the Pharaoh's hand, he said Yugi usurped control, shrinking a couple of inches while Kaiba nodded towards his rival. Yes, he was angry he lost, but he craved his duels against Yugi. They were always his most intense and strategic battle, constantly pushing him to his best.

"Plus, don't forget," Yugi said, his eyes gesturing to the large cousin of Harry Potter. "You still have a duel to do for the fans, remember." He told Kaiba, a playful smirk upon his face.

"Astounding folks, this has been by far the best World Championships final round ever." The announcer declared while the fans continued to cheer. "Now for the last match, an exhibition match between the second place victor and a lucky fan." The announcer stated while the thousands of fans were confused, having never heard of such a thing during a World Championship Tournament. "Now, Mr. Kaiba, please bring up your opponent." He said while Kaiba looked at Dudley, gesturing with his finger to have the boy approach the dueling arena.

"Go on, son," Vernon said, pushing his rotund son up towards the arena. "Make us proud!" he exclaimed, not realizing the embarrassing moment that was about to happen to his flesh and blood. Dudley walked up shaking like a leaf, knowing and learning he was about to be crushed on national television in front of thousands and broadcasted in front of millions of fans all over the world.

"Umm, yeah, Da, I got this." He said, activating his duel disk and began to shuffle his deck feebly. His hands were shaking in fear while Kaiba plucked his deck, shuffling his deck, slotting the stack back into his disk to start a new duel.

"You can go first." He nodded towards Dudley, seeing him shakily shake his head and pluck the top five cards from his deck.

Dudley: 8000

Kaiba: 8000

While Dudley pulled his hand, he noticed that Kaiba hadn't even drawn his hand yet. "Aren't you going to draw your cards?" he asked in confusion. Kaiba stared at the fat kid looking towards Harry, a playful smirk upon his lips. His blue-eyes watched as Yami took the trophy and sat down immediately to watch this match, placing the trophy upon the ground beside his chair.

"Well, I thought I would wait to see what terrifying strategies you have, young man." He said as Dudley pushed out his chest, nodding his head and swallowing his fear.

"Very well then, be ready." He said, his gaze lowered to his hand, seeing his deck's strategy while he plucked a monster. "I'll start with this, a monster in face-down defense mode and a face-down card," Dudley said, placing his two cards upon his disk, a sideways face down representing his monster and a vertical face down for his trap. As they appeared in front of him several feet wide and long before the heavyset teenager. "Make your move," Dudley said with a confident and smug sounding insult.

While Kaiba snapped off the top six cards of his deck, his fingers fanning his hand out before him. Looking upon the cards as his smirk formed into a broad smile, Yami appeared in spirit form beside Yugi.

"Oh, this is going to be good." He said, chuckling softly.

"To begin this duel, I'll play a simple magic card. I activate Polymerization." Kaiba said, slipping the spell he had used in the duel previously into his spell zone. "Now I can fusion summon a monster like this come to me my Blue-Eyes Ultimate Dragon," Kaiba announced; his hand was dropping to two cards while he slipped the three Blue-Eyes White Dragons from his hand, flipping them to reveal to his opponent what the materials were then into the graveyard. "RISE MY BLUE-EYES ULTIMATE DRAGON!" Kaiba exclaimed as a pillar of light erupted upon the field, his signature fusion reappearing upon the field, roaring out towards Dudley. The resounding roar caused him to take several steps back in fear, while his eyes lowered to his face down the card a playful smirk at the knowledge that his trap would destroy and embarrass Kaiba. (4500/3800)

"But I'm not done yet; I play Dragon treasure. This spell card boosts my dragon attack and defense points by an additional three-hundred." Kaiba said, slipping the spell into his field slot. A gem appeared upon the center head of Blue-Eyes Ultimate Dragon, causing it to glow ever so slightly while its attack and defense points rose by a fraction (4500/3800+300/300=4800/4100).

"Go on, Kaiba, attack me and watch your dragon fall." Dudley thought, his eyes looking to his face down card.

"Now I play the last card in my hand," Kaiba said, catching Dudley off guard. Usually, Kaiba didn't use every card in his hand on the first turn. However, this was a different Kaiba. "I play Neutron Blast." Kaiba declared, sliding the last card in his hand into the disk. "Now I can activate this spell while I have a Blue-Eyes White Dragon fusion on the field and nothing else. And since I do, I am to play this all-powerful magic card. You see, its effect is so powerful that I can only activate this while I have no other cards on the field. Now my dragon can declare two additional attacks upon my opponent, not including its first attack. Which means my Ultimate beast can attack you three times turn." Kaiba stated with wide arms. "Now attack that weak monster Neutron Blast Attack," Kaiba commanded while all three heads gathered their energy in their jowls, blasting at the monster.

"You just fell for my trap; go, Mirror Force," Dudley exclaimed excitedly while his holy Barrier trap lifted. A sudden bolt of electrical energy struck his trap, preventing it from rising to activate.

"Your trap means nothing, and ill tell you while because my Neutron Blast spell prevents you from activating any cards during the battle until the end of the damage step," Kaiba stated as the three beams struck the monster flipping it up, revealing D-Boys ( 100/1000). But because of Neutron Blast's effect, the monster's special effect couldn't trigger, causing the creature to cry out as it was disintegrated from the field in a triple beam of crackling energy.

"What happened? Why didn't my monster's effect trigger?" Dudley asked in confusion while Kaiba began to laugh loudly and proudly.

"You fool, the damage step isn't over yet, and my dragon can still attack two more times," Kaiba declared, thrusting his hand out. Ultimate Dragon attacks and destroys your life points." Kaiba exclaimed as his monstrous beast reared their three head back and blasted the three beams twice, striking Dudley, knocking him back as his points suddenly dropped to zero.

Dudley: 0

Kaiba: 8000

"Dudley!" Vernon and Petunia exclaimed, getting up to rush to the field. Their son had been blasted upon his back several feet from where he had been standing before. "What the hell did you do to my son, you bastard," Vernon exclaimed as he helped his heavy-set son to his feet.

"I beat him in a duel," Kaiba said; his eyebrow rose in confusion at the two parents. "Or did you neglect to watch your son get crushed," Kaiba stated with a chuckle?

"We thought you were going to let him this exhibition duel." Vernon declared with anger looking at the young teenage billionaire. "You know for publicity." He said, his walrus-like mustache blowing out with his heaving breath.

"Please, I would never allow to lose to anyone aside from Yugi, not even to a fan," Kaiba stated bluntly, turning on the spot, his trench coat billowing as he departed the arena floor to approach Harry. "Your welcome." He said with a knowing smirk upon his normally stoic face. Harry simply began to chuckle while Hermione and Ron stood up to leave their seats.

"Alright, folks, that's the end of the tournament. We have a regional tournament you can enter in the other event hall if you wish, and the vendors will remain open for a few more hours. Enjoy the rest of the day, and thank you to all the duelists during this incredible tournament." The announcer declared while the rest of the competitors, minus Bakura, began to trickle out of the stadium's main arena.

"Well, I must say that was an incredible match." The man said as they began to descend the stairs to the lower level of the stadium. "I wasn't expect-" the man said mid-sentence, his eyes narrowed as he and his partner shuddered ever so slightly. "I can sense the Oricalcos; something is very wrong. I can sense immense anger and rage." He said to his spiky-haired friend while they both turned to look out beyond the railing of the fire escape.

"Raphael, Look." He said, pointing out from the railing of the stairs they were descending from as the sight of over twenty strange-looking creatures appeared growling. They wore soft grey armor, their left arms wielding blade-like duel disks similar to scimitar blades. "Come on; we have to get down there." He exclaimed as they leaped over the railings dropping several stories landing upon the ground, rolling forwards to reduce the impact. As Raphael stood up, his partner took off running down the remaining steps to reach the bottom. "Valon, wait!" he yelled, seeing his friend activate his duel disk.

"Yes, my Oricalcos Soldiers go and bring me the souls of the chosen duelists. I need more souls. Panik, head out now. I want you to lead my soldiers," Voldemort said, his eyes once a blood-red were now changing to a tine of light neon green. A soft whispering in the back of his mind kept repeating the exact words over and over again. "MORE GIVE MORE SOUL!" The immense man nodded his face showing a sadistic grin upon his lips while he turned his back and left the room. A loud crack rang out in the hallway as a second crack resounded again. Wormtail was quivering as he reentered his Master's planning chambers.
