Previous chapter: Jasper - JPOV

A sudden growl fills the room, and I stare lustfully at my mate as she stalks toward Emmett and says:

Emmett looks at me with a pleading look and whispers: "A little help here, Jasper?"

I shake my head and snicker as I say: "You're on your own here, Emmett. You should know better than to anger a newborn, and you just insulted her children. I would run if I were you."

Bella - BPOV

My vision colors red when I hear Emmett calling my children the witch twins. I growl loudly as I stalk toward him and hiss: "What did you call my children, Emmett?" I move closer as he turns to Jasper to plead for help and smirk when my mate tells him to run. I cock my head as Emmett returns his gaze to me, and I say: "I would listen to my mate, Emmett. You're not going to like what happens if I catch you."

Emmett swallows audibly and takes a few steps back, before turning around and fleeing from the room. I growl loudly as I count to five before giving chase. I smile as I pick up Emmett's trail and push myself forward. I can see him running through the forest in front of me, and I'm gaining on him with every step I take. God, you've got to love newborn speed.

Emmett panics as he realizes that I'm gaining on him and starts taking down trees in a futile attempt to slow me down. I laugh as I jump over every obstacle he throws my way, and I say: "I'm not the average newborn, Emmett. You can't distract me that easily, and you certainly can't keep running forever. Just let me kick your ass and be done with it."

Emmett shakes his head as he takes down another tree and yells: "Oh no, I really like my ass, and so does Rose. I'll pass if you don't mind."

"But I do mind, dear brother of mine. You shouldn't have insulted my children. How stupid can you be?" Emmett's answer gets lost as I cross the remaining distance between us with a well-timed jump and send him flying headfirst into a tree. I growl as he tries to run again and use my shield to keep him in place as I say: "Oh no, you don't. We're going to teach you some manners, Emmett."

Jasper – JPOV

Rosalie hisses at me as Bella chases after Emmett and says: "Why didn't you stop her? She can't seriously believe that those brats see her as their mother." I growl as I turn to her and say: "Alec and Jane bonded with Bella immediately. They love her, and Bella loves them equally in return, as do I. They are not only Bella's children. They are mine as well. They make our life complete. I thought you of all people would understand that, Rose. Bella will kick Emmett's ass, but her love for him will stop her from hurting him. I wouldn't have stopped, so be glad I let her handle it."

Rose gives me a curt nod and says: "You're right, Jasper. I do understand. I can't wait to meet them. Now, let's go find that idiot husband of mine before he says something that pisses Bella off even more." I give her a soft smile and start to follow her as she makes her way outside. I motion for Peter and Char to join us and shake my head as Peter says: "Oh, I'm coming all right. My little sis is going to kick that buffoon's ass, Whitlock style."

We follow Bella's trail into the forest and pick up speed. Let's hope they didn't run all the way to Canada. I can feel Rose's worry as we pass a large number of knocked down trees and uprooted bushes and send her a burst of reassurance. I know my Bella would never hurt Emmett. We stop running as we reach the edge of a small clearing, and I smile widely as I look at the scene in front of us.

Emmett is hanging upside down in a bubble and floating across the field, while Bella sings about Humpty Dumpty, who sat on a wall. When she reaches the part of the song where Humpty had a big fall, she actually drops Emmett to the ground, before lifting him again and restarting the song. Peter laughs out loud, and I know that tears of laughter would be running down his face if he were still human.

Emmett spots us, standing at the edge of the clearing, and yells: "Rosie, baby, please safe me!" Rose snickers and says: "Did you try to apologize to your sister, Emmett?" Emmett shakes his head 'no', and I smile as I feel the wave of disbelief and annoyance that erupts from Rose when she says: "Oh god, Emmett, I swear you're such a complete moron sometimes. You insulted her children. What did you think she was going to do? Bella is your sister, and she loves you, but she loves Alec and Jane as her own. Now, apologize for being an unconsidered ass."

Bella - BPOV

I give Rose a big smile as she looks my way, and turn to Emmett as I tap my foot while waiting for his apology. He lifts his hand and looks at me with pleading eyes as he says: "Bella Boo, you know me. I say stuff without thinking all the time. I never meant to insult your children. If they consider you their mother, they must be awesome kids."

I nod as I pull back my shield, and Emmett tumbles to the ground as I say: "They are. You won't be this lucky the next time, Emmett. Rose is right; you are my brother, and I love you, but no one insults or touches my children. Is that clear?"

Emmett vigorously nods as he moves to stand next to Rosalie and says: "Crystal! I don't want to get on your bad side again, Bella Boo. You're terrifying when you're angry."

Jasper shakes his head as he pulls me close and leans down to whisper in my ear: "Don't listen to him, darlin'. You're incredibly sexy when you're angry." I purr as I put my arm around his neck and pull him closer as I say: "Sexy, huh? Good to know, Major. We still have unfinished business in the shower anyway." Jasper smirks as he pulls me flush against him and says: "That we have indeed, pumpkin. Let's go home."

Jasper turns to say something to the rest of the family but gets interrupted by Peter, who says: "You don't have to say anything, Major. Char and I are going hunting. Have fun. Don't do anything I wouldn't do." I roll my eyes as Peter lets out a loud laugh as he runs in the opposite direction of our home, with Char right behind him. Rosalie gives us a soft smile as she takes Emmett's hand and says: "I need to feed too, Emmett. I want to see what the forests of Montana have to offer. Are you coming with me, monkey man?"

I shake my head as Emmett licks his lips and says: "You bet, babe. Let's go." Jasper snickers as they take off into the forest and turns to me with a predatory look in his eyes. I softly moan as he pulls me close and leans down to run his lips down my neck. A shiver travels down my spine as he kisses his mark on my neck and says: "Let's see to that unfinished business, darlin'."

Jasper – JPOV

The lust and love that are radiating from my Bella are an exact copy of my own. It makes me love her even more. Bella squeals as I throw her over my shoulder and run back to the house at high speed. I smirk as another wave of lust hits me, and I can feel myself getting harder as I smell the delicious scent of my mate's arousal. God, I want her so much. I sigh audibly as the house comes into view, and run straight into our bathroom.

Bella's eyes are pitch-black as I place her onto the counter and turn the shower on. I move back to stand between her thighs. I lift my hand to grip her hair and kiss her passionately. Bella moans as my emotions of love and devotion flow through her, and I groan as she sends me hers in return. God, I love being an empath.

Bella's voice is barely above a whisper as she pulls at the hem of my shirt and says: "Too many clothes." I smile as I take a step back and quickly shed my clothes, while Bella does the same. I take her hand to pull her into the shower and say: "Now, where were we when we were so brutally interrupted last time, pumpkin."

Bella smiles as she picks up the soap and starts washing my body. I groan as she takes my rock-hard member in her hands, and I drop my head back against the wall as Bella continues to stroke my member with her hand. Fuck, I want to be inside her so much. I open my eyes and find my mate staring at me with so much love in her eyes it almost renders me speechless.

I lift her into my arms and kiss her as she wraps her legs around my waist. I carry her out into the bedroom and lay her down in the middle of the bed. I continue to stare into her pitch-black eyes as I enter her with one swift thrust. Bella's eyes flutter shut, and she arches her back as a moan escapes her gorgeous lips. I kiss her mark as I start moving in and out of her and say: "God, darlin', I love you so much."

Bella - BPOV

I will never tire of making love to my Jasper. I love how my emotions and his flow together as we lose ourselves in each other completely. It doesn't matter if it's soft and slow like now or fast and hard when the Major comes out to play. Every time our bodies connect is pure heaven and I never in a million years would have thought I could be this blissfully happy.

Our movements grow more and more frantic as our orgasms build up inside us. I dig my nails in Jasper's shoulders as my orgasm washes over me like a tsunami, and Jasper groans as I take him over the edge with me. I smile happily as Jasper moves to lie beside me and trail my fingers along his cheek as I say: "I love you more than anything, Jasper."

"You're all I need to be happy, pumpkin. Your love makes me the happiest man on this planet. Let me show you again just how happy you make me."

I giggle as Jasper lets out a low growl and rolls on top of me again. I spread my legs for my mate and moan as he enters my body for the second time while saying: "Tell me what you want, darlin'." I moan as his lust flows through me and say: "I want you, Major, fast and hard."

I almost come on the spot as he leans down and whispers in my ear: "Your wish is my command, ma'am." The rest of the night passes us by as we continue to make love to each other. We hear Peter and Char returning the following morning, followed by Emmett and Rosalie, and decide that it's time for me to hunt again.

We make our way to the living room and find the guys playing video games while Rose and Char are talking about fashion. They all look up as we enter the room, and Jasper says: "We're going out for a while. Bella needs to hunt." A sudden sound from outside has us all running to the backyard. I look worriedly at Jasper as Jane runs up to me at high speed and moves into my open arms as she yells: "Mom!"
