I could barely see anything around me, but I could hear footsteps coming my way. "Kyo!" I heard Izuku shout to me. "Y-You're alive?" I asked him bewildered, yet relieved. "W-what?" Izuku started. "Why? I- We were…". "I had to try...I had to stop him." I replied. "I thought he…". I trailed off, I wasn't able to say it."When that thing started his rampage...he was looking for me, he even declared so." Izuku stated. I cursed myself for not being vigilant and keeping a better eye on things, it was always Yamiaka's job to do so. "So...All Might pulled some heroes together, Endeavour and I had clone's made...A vi-". "Kojin…" I blurted out in realization. "Ha Ha...How could I have...forgotten? And...You were the other heroes, who had something planned to defeat him weren't you?". I let out a pained chuckle as Izuku held me upright, I was dying. "I really am a...blind fool when I'm angry..." I let out a few sobs. "Did it with my sister, with LOGIC...and now with you…" I laughed at myself as I layed there."I...you're gonna be okay Kyo…" Izuku said with tears in his eye's.". This made me chuckle more, Izuku was always an optimist. But then I remembered...I was. "Wait!" I blurted out. "I- I need to warn you!". Izuku gave me a confused look. "What?" He asked. "Yamiaka." I started "That monster...he was being controlled." Izuku looked at me with a puzzled face. "Well...why-" He started. "Because I may be the next monster who comes out of that thing." I revealed. Izuku's face became one of shock and horror. "What!?" He asked me. "If I do...If I come back, you have to be ready!". I continued "The bracelet, It'll take whoever kills its captive as its next prisoner! If things don't go well...I could kill everybody!" I was alarmed at the prospect, I saw how powerful Yamiaka was with one quirk to start out. If I had four, then I had no idea what I'd do with the extra power the bracelet gave me. Izuku gave me a panicked and worried look, with more tears. "If I do, If I become that… You need to-" I interrupted myself with a pained scream, A piercing sting went through my body. My eyesight returned, but I wasn't where I was before. I was in a circular room, two luxurious couches which surrounded a coffee table sat in the middle. I spied a bed on one end of the room and a fridge on the other, but I wasn't looking for any of those. "Kyo! Kyo where are you?" I heard Izuku call out from behind me. "Izuku?" I called back, I turned around to find a mirror, and in the mirror was an image of Izuku, holding nothing and looking around frantically. "Izuku…" I mumbled as I looked through the mirror. I placed my hand on the mirror as I looked at him, tears were streaming down my eyes as well. I shook my head and asked myself "What have I gotten myself into…". "Why a bracelet, Kyokia." I heard a female voice say from behind me. I turned around to see a blonde haired woman staring at me, she looked like she was in her mid 30's smiled at me. "Weclome.".
"Who are you?" I asked her. "Whoever you want me to be." She stated in response. "I could be this woman…" She said, but then she turned into Yamiaka. "I could be the previous owner." she sounded exactly like him, but then she turned into Izuku. "I could also be your friend if that helps with you missing him!" The only thing that did was unnerve me. "Or! I could even be your loving mo-". "Don't you dare!" I shouted as I pointed to her. "Izuku" smiled at me and raised his hands up. "That woman was fine." I muttered as I looked over to the mirror. She went back to her first form and I asked her. "Who are you? WHAT are you?". "Well, my name is…" She looked into the air for a second, as if thinking of a name. "Susan. And I'm your roomie for the time being.". I gave her a questioning look but all she said was. "I'll explain after, first let me take you on a tour.". Seeing as there was no door to this one room I didn't have much of a choice, she proceeded to list off and point to items of interest. "Lounge, fridge, bed, bar and font!". She then looked to the mirror and then two doors materialized on each side of it. "Left is the bathroom and right is the training room!". "Training room?" I asked her. "Why yes." She said with a smirk and a raised eyebrow. "You gotta train your powers somewhere!". I just stared her down for a few moments and asked "You said you were here for the time being…why is that?". "Well I'll get out of your hair once you accept the bracelet as part of you." She nonchalantly stated. "Well, that's not happening I'm afraid." I informed her as I turned to the mirror again. "I have no intent of allowing what you did to Yamiaka to happen to me. I won't turn evil.". "Oh and you're just sooo innocent!" Susan chimed. "Don't you remember those six months of murder?" I looked behind me and stated. "That was because of the mask...and I put that behind me.". "Too bad those criminals can't." She retorted. "Y'know, with them being dead and all...not to mention the fact you killed Yamiaka.". "That's different." I muttered. "Murder is murder my friend." Susan stated. "Now, come on. Let's go to the training room!" She grabbed my arm and pulled me along, I went for my axe only to realize it didn't come with me. And hardened my skin in an attempt to get her arm off of me, but her grip was steadfast.
She pulled me into the training room and turned around. "Hmm...lets get you out of those rags…". "Rags!?" I asked as I looked at my trench coat. I realized it was ripped and shredded. "Eijiro's quirk…" I said in realization. "And the whole...sword...thing." Susan added. "Anyway!" With that she snapped her fingers and I was in a tuxedo. "Hmm...no." She said, she snapped her fingers again and I was in a fine cloak, holding a cane. "Nope." She muttered and now I was in a ball dress. She burst out laughing and stated. "Not your style." And snapped again, I was in my trench coat again but it was good as new. "Ah, much better!" She chimed. "Now, look over here.". She directed me to what looked like a slot machine. It was large and the three slots on it had names, they read "Fist Of Hatred", "Enhance Item's" and "Summon Thralls". "Ah, he had such potential…" Susan stated. "What?" I asked her. "Oh, Yamiaka." She informed me. "He could've trained here until he could summon an army of thralls!...and he made it to what? Sixty?" She chuckled to herself. "If only he didn't waste all of our time together...hopefully you won't." She then turned to me and said. "You can choose what powers you want any time, but once they're chosen they're set in stone!" She paused for a moment before she said. "But keep in mind, stone can break.". I looked around the training room, in all honesty it was simply a large, white rectangular room. The only features being the slot machine and the door back out. "So, wanna give them a try?" Susan asked me. "All you have to do I-". "Not happening." I replied immediately. She gave me an annoyed smile and said "Let's move on.". As we walked out of the room she pointed to the other door. "There's your bathroom, I don't think I have to introduce you to-". "No you don't." I cut her off. "Good." she stated. I looked over to the other side of the room. "What...is that?" I pointed to what appeared to be a hot tub of sorts, but I couldn't really tell with this place. "Oh, that." she replied. I felt a searing pain in my right arm and due to the damage I started to feel exhausted. I looked to my arm and almost screamed in horror, my forearm was laying on the floor, all I had was a stump. "Go find out." she said with a smile. "What the hell!?" I yelled at her as I held what was left of my arm. "Are you trying to kill me!?". "Oh no, you won't die in here." she informed me. "Won't even bleed in here.". I looked at my arm to see she was right, there was no blood coming out of the exposed flesh, didn't change the fact it still hurt like nothing I'd ever felt before. "Now go check it out." She repeated. I stumbled over to the hot tub and climbed into it, the pain started to dull and I could feel my stamina regenerating at a faster than normal rate. "That there's the healing fountain." Susan stated. "Your arm will regrow given time.". I looked at the stump of where my right arm used to be. "I…" I started. "It'll allow you to recuperate." Susan interrupted me. "Cause kid, you'll be doing a lot of fighting if you ever get out.". I remembered what Yamiaka said about this place, the only way out was to trick people into setting you free, and I had no intent of doing that. "No." I said as I sat in the hot tub. "I think I'll just stay here forever.". "They always say that." Susan stated. "And besides." She turned into Izuku again. "Don't you ever want to see me again?", before I could respond she turned into Uncle. "And what about me kiddo? Am I chopped liver?". "Shut up." I spat at her. "In time you'll realize it's futile to resist, you'll give in eventually." Susan said as she went back to her first form.
"You won't last forever." Susan told me as I looked at the mirror. "Uh, yes I will. You told me yourself." I replied to her. I had been in this bracelet for about two months now, and learned much about it. "I said you'd stop aging, I'm talking about accepting it." Susan retorted. I learned that around twenty five to thirty you'd stop physically aging and around sixty you'd stop mentally aging. "There is nothing to accept, I'll simply stay here forever." I barked back at her. "That's what Yamiaka said, but it only took twenty years before he changed his mind.". Yamiaka looked like a young adult, but in reality he was older. "Well Yamiaka was wrong." I said solemnly. "I won't make the same mistake he did.". "You already have." Susan stated. "Ah, look here!" I pointed to the mirror, Izuku, Kirishima and Bakugo were all standing together in the process of making a pact. "If he ever comes back, we'll stop him." Izuku said to them. "And with that there's three heroes dedicated to stopping me If I ever go dark, one of them being the bearer of One For All. Even if I lose I win!". "You'll find a way to work around it." Susan stated. "I have a feeling you'll do much better than the others.". "Oh?" I questioned her. "Well yes, the user before Yamiaka was...reckless for the sake of being reckless. If she was more like you she may have actually beaten the third user of One For All." Susan stated. "Prisoner." I corrected her. "Not user.". "That's what Yamiaka made of it." She stated. "Speaking of, he was so desperate to escape his "prison" he was completely unlearned when he got out.". Susan gave me a smirk and said. "But unlike them...you're a schemer.". I raised an eyebrow at her. "Oh that's not a bad thing." Susan stated. "You're careful, you plan things out. And you have a dark side to you…" I shook my head as I looked back to the mirror. "Oh don't try to deny it." She stated. "That killing spree you went on for a good six months attests to it. You will be the best user this bracelet has seen in decades.". I blocked her out as I stared into the mirror. Izuku took my disappearance hard, but he had responsibilities to care for as he was a user of One For All, he'd likely become the world's number one hero...but he also took my words to heart. "You see that boy there?" I asked Susan as I pointed to Bakugo. "He was the biggest piece of shit for the longest time, but he's not now.". I looked back to Susan and said "that's a testament that anyone can change.".
"Jeez you're just as stubborn as him." she said in annoyance. "Right to the very end he just wouldn't let up.". "And he was right to!" I stated in Yamiaka's defence. My face then contorted, a thought just came to mind. "If he was so...stubborn about not going evil, then why did he?". It was undeniable that he gave into the darkness and lost himself when he left the bracelet. "Well…" Susan started. "Take a wild guess.". I then realized a horrible truth. "It doesn't matter how hard I fight, does it?" I asked her. "The second I escape...I'll…". Susan gave me a grin and said. "That you will.". "Why didn't you tell me?" I asked in anger. "And ruin the fun?" She said with fake surprise. "No way!". I didn't say anything for about ten seconds, but finally said "Then I'll stay here for eternity.". "Unlikely." Susan replied. "I mean, I'll be here for eternity too in that case. You will accept this bracelet as part of yourself.". Susan paused, she appeared deep in thought. "You know, there could be a way you live a normal life again.". "How?" I asked her, though I wasn't expecting much. "Well." she started. "The user before Yamiaka, she had much more control over her actions when she got out...probably because she was evil for longer.". I didn't like where this was going, but I let her continue. "If you accepted it now, maybe when you get out you'll have enough control to just...live.". I could all but see the lies seeping from her lips, even if it was true, it wouldn't be worth it. "No." I replied sharply. "Izuku, thought that I could be better." I stated as I pointed to the mirror, which was not ironically turned off. "And giving into this place, is not a good start.". I got up into her face and said "Tempt me all you want Susan...I'll never allow myself to turn evil.". "We'll see Kyo…" Susan replied as she nodded. "We'll see.".
